Just the very sound of the woman's heels behind her were enough to piss Bela off. Now when confronted, she was going to give her an attitude? The woman hadn't come right out and given her attitude but she knew it was there. Just the way she spoke was annoying enough. As if she was just so perfect and innocent, it was too good to be true. Bela had learned from past experiences that when things seemed too good to be true, they usually were.
As she answered and pointed to the hotel, Bela turned to look at it in the distance. It could have all been just a coincidence and in that case, would have made the thief feel bad. However, the tone in the woman's voice made it hard to believe that this was all just coincidence. In fact, it pretty much confirmed that it wasn't.
"And you just happened to be leaving at the exact same second as I was? After you had just arrived there?"
Everything was becoming more and more shady about this woman. The fact that she didn't seem too bothered about being accused of stalking was odd as well. In fact, she didn't seem bothered by it all. This woman was playing games and Bela knew it, she just didn't know what game they were playing or what she wanted from Bela.
The thief eyed the woman closely, almost as if staring into her eyes through her soul. If someone were a normal human, they wouldn't have noticed anything peculiar. Perfectly normal brown eyes set perfectly into the woman's face, she was quite beautiful actually. But since Bela had had experience in the world of the supernatural, she knew there was nothing normal about Katie's eyes.
"What are you, and what do you want?"
Her question was abrupt and if her suspicions were incorrect, Bela would look like a crazy woman. Her instincts however were screaming out to her and telling her that there was something off about the woman. If Bela had learned anything throughout her years as a thief it was to listen to your instincts, to follow your gut feeling. It was how she had survived and gone undetected all throughout her life. Well, until the hell hounds had caught up to her that is. Instincts or not, there was no way to protect yourself against them.
Tag: Lilith Word count: 401 Outfit: I'll make later! Notes: Alright so I was a little unsure about this post. On one hand, I figured it was okay for Bela to know that Katie wasn't human. She has met demons before obviously and made a deal with Lilith before. On the other hand, Katie looks human so as Bela is one as well, it would be hard for her to figure it out. I just did it anyways to keep the thread going and interesting. If you want me to change it, I will completely understand and will gladly change it. Just let me know! Lilith just smiled that smile of hers as Bela turned around and started to question her. Her answers didn't seem to fit well with the woman, a pity actually. Actually a pity and a blessing in a way, the line of questioning made the demon confirm her suspicion. What or who... that was a line used by someone familiar with the supernatural world. She tiled her head, eyes locked onto Bela.
"I was to meet someone there, but they called after you left and canceled," she said spinning it around like a politician would. It would explain why she was dressed in a non casual way. She knew what she should say, she'd been at this long enough to know that much. Of course normal people reacted differently than Hunters and the like did because they didn't have that nagging suspicion in the back of their heads like humans who knew about the supernatural did. They were more of a wild card.
The blonde demon pushed her hair over her should, smiling that devilish grin of hers. "What am I? Just a normal girl like you... well not totally like you Ms Paranoia," she said, a snark and bit to her words. Her face had that human accusation look. The fake emotion seeping through to try and mask the demon behind that was so enjoying this. She really was having fun with this woman, the corner of her eyes looking down at her baby as she spoke. The little Hell Hound was just heeling next to Lilith. The demon wasn't moving, she seemed eerily comfortable in this setting.
"Are we going to have a problem... or shall I call the police?" she suggested, eyes narrowing on the woman. She turned her head to look over where they were. They were by a church, some shops and a hotel. They were in a pretty public area, even for an alleyway. She could exactly just kill the woman, it would leave a trail and she'd have to give up this body. She had grown a little attached to this vessel, how easily she could use it to lure men.

Her answers seemed far too...normal to be true. Plus, the woman hadn't even seemed offended that she was being questioned and accused of being a stalker. Just the fact that she was still even acting polite made Bela believe her own suspicions. People definitely acted differently in small towns, but they couldn't possibly be this off, could they? Something about this woman screamed out to Bela that she wasn't normal. It seemed almost as if the woman was up to something, as if she had some plan. It was also obvious that she was playing games with Bela.
A normal girl like Bela? Hell, if Bela was considered normal then this town had problems. She hadn't been normal since...well, she was pretty sure that she'd actually never been normal before. No normal child wishes that their parents would just die. Also, no normal child actually makes it happen. Though she was sure if people knew the full story behind her father, most would agree on Bela's side.
"Nope, no need to call the police. I'm going, and don't follow me."
Turning around, Bela decided to just give up on this woman. Obviously she wasn't what she seemed but she didn't want to let whatever her secret was be known to Bela. By how the woman acted, she suspected that her true identity was unknown to everyone. Bela was certainly intrigued in this woman and would make sure to mention it to Dean or Sam the next time that she seen them. Walking away from the woman, she took a different direction to her motel in order to avoid Katie. Never looking back, she decided that maybe it was best to ignore her for now. Bela had just recently become human again and she didn't exactly need to be getting mixed up back into her old lifestyle again. Another thing she knew was that she didn't exactly need any enemies at the moment.
