----------------------------------------------------------------------------------The few that remain on the side of the Winchesters. They needed to be dealt with, studied perhaps first. It would be fun, to watch them slowly watch all the people they care about taken away from them in a painful way. They would all suffer, it wasn't good enough for them all just to be killed... they had to suffer! I mean after all they did not only to demons and herself personally... but what they did to her Father. I mean she died to let him save the world and she was even rewarded with new life... but they trapped him away again! They put her Father in prison again!
She had to get them out of the way this time, she was sure it was the way to ensure Lucifer would be able to save the world. Of course she wasn't sure how to break him out again as the seals were probably useless to get him out now. There had to be another way. The white eyed demon had been searching for a way to do just that... she of course needed to find someone versed in magick other than what she knew. The ingredients and books here used different magicks than she was used to. Though most of the stuff she'd seen was not nearly as old or powerful as many things she knew her resources had been pretty much exhausted. Besides that few were aware of her resurrection by the hand of Lucifer.
The blonde haired woman she was possessing wore what she always did...a white dress. It was of course misleading...a woman bathed in white being possessed by one of the oldest and strongest demons that walk the Earth. Things were always like that, though she had remained in this body for quite a while instead of hopping hosts. She would probably host hop to a child sometime when she wanted to have a little fun.
The female demon heard footsteps approach, a smirk curling the host's lips. Who would it be that came here? I mean in all honesty she couldn't really kill many people here... after all the town was large yes but she needed to lay low. She was insane of course but she was far from stupid. She knew how to act, how to pretend to be a human... something she hadn't been for eons. -----------------------------------------

------------------------------------------After an eventful week Bela felt like people watching. It entertained her to watch people, they were so unaware of the things around them. They had no idea that nothing around them was quite as it seemed. People looked normal but could be demons or angels, vampires, witches, etc. Yet they walked around next to demons and such all the time and had no clue. In all honesty, Bela thought it was kind of hilarious how stupid most humans truly were. This was why she had gathered at the Big Shot tonight, she was in the mood to watch people. It always cheered her up to see others stupidity and it was just what she needed right now.
Bela had been far from cheery lately. Now she had been in this town for over a week and still had absolutely no clue why she was here, on Earth again. It was so frustrating, not knowing why she was alive. Someone had gone through the trouble to pull her out of hell and put her in this little town but couldn't even contact her? They couldn't pick up the phone and drop a line, or pay her a visit? Not only was it frustrating but it was actually pretty damn rude.
Walking into the Big Shot she watched around her as children and families bustled around. Bela had never once wanted a family and she knew that she never would. After what had happened with hers she had no desire to try for her own. Plus the life of a thief didn't quite provide time or energy for a family. Always traveling and laying low, that was no life for a family. She smirked as she realized that made her love her job even more. In front of her was a woman in a white dress. The woman seemed to stick out of the crowd, to stand out in an eery way. Taking a seat at a small table, Bela continued to watch the woman in white. She couldn't see her face but she was intrigued by the outfit. This chick didn't mind standing out in a crowd.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lilith would stick out of course, especially with what she was wearing. She could have gone with normal clothes or something but no doubt she would still stick out a little... I mean she was there alone while all around here were little families. Of course in this crowd she gained anonymity... she couldn't really be attacked in this large crowd by a hunter easily as there were to many witnesses. She could easily wipe out people as well, but she didn't. The demon smiled that awful smile she always wore, insanity seeming to seep out of it. The woman let the smile fall off the face of her host, turning her body to the right to look at the crowd. There were so many people around, and from the looks of it a few that would be going to Hell in this crowd. She could easily tell... she could smell the foul stench up their souls.
She let them wander, she always had them with her. They were silent, walking amongst the crowd like little protectors for the white eyed demon. The last time that had needed to fight was against that girl called Buffy. That of course was quite fun, very interesting to find someone that was human but reeked of demon... yet her soul wasn't Hell Bound like all the others who reeked here. It was interesting.
The woman scanned the area, a small child wandering alone. She smiled at the pathetic child, how easily she could break it in half. She knelt down to it's level, patting it on the head. The child was gone after about 30 seconds, the child's mother herding it off. How annoying it was to pretend to be human... to pretend to be something so disgusting and useless. It was just pathetic. Then again she couldn't go to Hell right now... it wasn't time. She had to figure out how to bring Lucifer back in secret. She had heard Crowly had named himself the King of Hell in her stead... that pathetic power grabber would be simple enough to get rid of. She had sheltered him from the likes of Alistair and Azaezil before... that was the only reason he followed her... because she was the strongest... the first. The woman turned again...this time towards Bela. She looked at the woman, the face seeming vaguely familiar but with how many people she's held contracts for that isn't surprising. She's ruined so many lives after all... and helped so many others for a price of course. -----------------------------------------

------------------------------------------The woman was very interesting and Bela had the urge to speak to her, though she didn't. Shifting in her seat she made sure to be discrete about watching the woman but she couldn't keep her eyes off of her. Something about her was just so intriguing and she wondered what it was. It was odd, but the woman seemed to have something off about her. Maybe it was just Bela being paranoid, afraid that something would happen to her again. Since her questions about being back had never been answered, she feared that her new life would be revoked again.
Her eyes glued to the woman she watched as she leaned down and patted a little girls head. It was then that she realized why the woman had seemed so familiar. Years ago when Bela had been a small child herself a demon had patted her head the exact same way, before making a contract with her. She remembered it vividly, because the pat had been so comforting that she'd almost not believed the demon when it told her who it was. Now seeing this woman pat a small child like she'd been patted, it was kind of weird. The child's mother then shooed her child away from the stranger, the woman looking like it made no difference to her.
Now that she had thought about this for a second she realized that she had to be crazy. There was no way that this was the same demon whom made a deal with her. Hell, she probably wasn't even a demon, how was Bela supposed to know that she was just by looking at her? Besides, a demon wearing a white dress? It just seemed too ironic to be true. Plus what would a demon be doing in a place like this? Obviously she wasn't here to do any harm or she would have already started, most likely anyways. So what would she be doing, observing? No this couldn't be a demon, and definitely couldn't be the demon whom she'd sold her soul to years ago. Still unsure about the woman, she kept an eye on her while she sat at her table.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lilith of course knew she was being stared at. She was very perceptive... though it came with being non human. The white eyed demon turned her head to look at Bela, curious as to who she was. Perhaps she was a hunter... though that seemed unlikely because the woman hadn't been following her before she made it to this place and besides that she was sure that few if any hunters knew she was alive. There was that archangel who knew but she was certain he didn't spread the word around. Sure he probably would tell the Winchesters at some point if he hadn't already but that wasn't really that bad a thing.
The demon in white walked towards Bela, the smacking of the host's sandals against the ground barely audible in the place. It wasn't that the big shot was really that loud, the sound was just barely audible unless in someplace like a church or morgue with little sound and echoy walls. The demon put on a smile as she usually did even when messing with victims. It was quite fun actually, kind of like playing a part like she had with that family when she was on shore leave just before her hell hound gutted Dean Winchester.
Lilith looked at the woman, not even really allowing Bela to say much before sitting down where Bela was. The woman was at least partially rude... or over friendly perhaps. It could have been a little bit of both actually. She already had her 'cover story' cocked up. She always had it so easily, lying came as breathing to demons after all and she was one of the best. The demon let her hands rest in her laps as she sat, crossing her legs. "Hello, I'm Katie," she said to Bela. She was being a little friendly wasn't she? -----------------------------------------

------------------------------------------The woman turned and began to look back at Bela and she knew that she had been caught. Usually Bela was quite stealthy, always being able to do what she needed to without her presence being known. This woman obviously had picked her out quite easily which was odd. As she smiled Bela cautiously returned the smile, though she found it pretty eery coming from the woman. For some reason it just didn't seem natural for this woman to be smiling like she was, like she had some secret or something. All her life Bela had been surrounded by oddities and it seemed as if she now had another one to add to the list.
The girl then began walking over to wards the thief and she was quite shocked when she just took a seat across from Bela at her table. Most people wouldn't have the audacity to do something like this and it made Bela even more interested in her.
"Hello...I'm Bela, nice to meet you."
Her English accent was thick and she ended her statement as more of a question than anything else. Why was this Katie girl being so friendly? The more she thought about it she decided that maybe it was just because it was a small town. For the most part, Bela had spent most of her time in big cities. Small town life had never appealed to her but she did know that small town people were generally more open and friendly. Maybe this was just the perfect example of such?
"Do you live here, or are you just visiting?"
She asked this merely because she could feel it becoming more and more awkward between the two. In an attempt to sound equally as friendly, she tried to keep her voice light and her eyes focused on the girl. It felt weird to just be looking straight into her eyes though, especially because of one small detail.
It seemed like when she looked into the woman's eyes, there was nothing behind them. Bela had met a lot of people in her lifetime and it wasn't hard to spot those without a soul. However, part of her knew that she shouldn't be making assumptions like this. It was more than likely just her mind playing tricks on her. Since she'd come back she had been more paranoid than ever.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------The girl had quite a thick English accent. The English always did have a certain distaste with her. Of course she had that same distaste with every other country in the world that human's occupied... so all of them. The demon kept that smile on her face, kind of creepy actually. She toned it down so as to try not to seem so... well evil.
Lilith looked up at the sky as she answered questions. She was thinking, not exactly lying but not exactly telling the truth with each of her words. That was a fine line she walked at times, even though she tended to lie much more than tell the truth. It came with the territory... being a manipulative lying demon. Was there any other kind? "I just moved here for work," she answered finally. It was totally true actually... that was the only reason she was here. Of course the 'house' she lived in was an apartment who's tenant she killed. Of course they'd never find the body but that wasn't the point.
The name took a little bit to register. Bela Talbot...or at least that was what she was known as. The girl had been the one who stole the Colt from the Winchesters and gave it to Crowley. Yes she knew of this, knew he'd tried to hide it from her... but she honestly couldn't care. The gun couldn't kill Lucifer and she only had enough use for it as to keep it out of the Winchester's grubby little hands so they couldn't get trigger happy on her until the last seal was broken. Crowley didn't know this of course... only her and Ruby. Though she wouldn't have doubted some of the Archangels may have figured it out near the end.
Abby...er Bela was the person she was talking to at the moment. She would play along as it suited her needs. "Bela, what a nice name. So what brings you to our little town?" she asked, that faux kindness oozing off her. It reeked... she hated how it sounded coming from her lips but couldn't help but love the challenge. It was kind of fun. -----------------------------------------

------------------------------------------For some reason Bela just couldn't shake the thought that something was off with this woman. The way she smiled just didn't seem right it seemed evil if anything. On the other hand, she also knew that she was just being paranoid. In the back of her mind she would continue to watch this woman carefully just in case. After the people she'd run into in this town, who knew what this woman could be. The Winchester's followed the demons so if they were here, it was for a reason. She just hoped that one of the reasons wasn't sitting across from her right now.
Another thing that seemed weird was that when she spoke, she looked up to wards the sky and not at Bela. Bela didn't really care, she just wondered why the woman was avoiding eye contact. Lying maybe? Again, she just assumed that her thoughts of paranoia were getting the best of her.
"Really? What do you do?"
Her voice was questioning, but more questioning then necessary, almost daring the woman to lie again. If there was one thing that Bela knew it was lying, she'd lied almost her entire life and was pretty damn good at it herself. Bela's eyes narrowed in on the woman as she prepared to read her answer for deception.
Why was Bela here? Well she didn't even know the answer herself, honestly it had been the thing plaguing her thoughts lately. So how was she supposed to answer this question to this woman? The only thing she could think to do was to give the woman a taste of her own medicine and lie right back. Not fully lying, but telling half-truths as she liked to call them.
"Thank you. I just got back from...vacation, and decided I needed a change so I came here."
In a way she had just gotten back from vacation, though it was far from an actual vacation. It had been the most terrible, excruciating pain she had ever experienced. Though if she was just being paranoid and this woman was human, then she couldn't just tell her that she just came back from hell. That she just woke up in Richmond one night in an alley completely naked, completely confused. If she was a demon and Bela found this out, then she would gladly tell her the truth. For now however, she needed to keep a low profile. Right now she was still pretty sure that the woman was human.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lilith looked right at the woman as Bela talked. It was easier to tell if someone was lying that way. I mean lying was something she tolerated only as it suited her. Of course she couldn't just come out and say someone was lying to her while she was like this... it would ruin the illusion that she was human.
"Oh me?" she said, referring the the question again. "I'm a dental hygienist, the guy I worked for before retired so this was the closest available job so I took it. The city is rather nice," she lied, her eyes not shifting from Bela's. She was an expert liar after all... it came with the demon territory but Bela knows that first hand. "What about you? Are you looking for work or what do you do?" she asked, her blonde hair neatly on the side of her shoulder. She looked well groomed, though she had several split ends that should be taken care of.
"Oh where did you go for vacation? The tropics or something? I mean this is a far cry from the tropics... or maybe England? I mean you do have a bit of an accent," she said with a fake laugh and a smile. Her attempt at polite, friendly conversation was excellent if she did say so herself. Go team demon! After all it was the best team ever!
The demon just sat there, her arms neatly at her sides and her legs crossed. In fact all she needed was a pocadot dress and the hair style and she could pass for a 50s housewife. It was kind of funny, but there were people like that after all... this was America! America had a lot of the crazies... I mean just look at San Francisco or LA... or Bela. This was a fun little conversation, human's are so stupid after all. -----------------------------------------

------------------------------------------The way Katie was looking at her while she talked kind of creeped Bela out. No one had ever looked at her like that, as if she was looking straight through her eyes and into her soul, trying to really see who she was. The woman's own eyes seemed to be like glass. No emotions shined through, they seemed cold and empty. Maybe Bela's earlier accusation had been true, though she'd passed it off as paranoia.
A dental hygienist? Either this woman was indeed a demon and had thought that would be a good cover up, or she was human and probably just extremely boring. Nonetheless the conversation was beginning to bore Bela, though she continued on out of curiosity. Even if it took all damn day she was going to figure out whether or not Katie was human. If she didn't, she knew that it would bother her and pick at her thoughts all the time. Bela didn't want to be wondering 'what if' for days, she wanted to know; and soon.
"I'm an antique dealer. I haven't really started work again quite yet, trying to relax for a bit." She spoke softly as to not seem too aggressive, not wanting to scare the woman away.
It was actually the truth in a way, she did deal antiques. Antique talismans, charms, all those types of items almost always classified as antiques. She dealt them too, usually on the black market. It was the perfect business for Bela and she loved it. It put her skills as a thief to good use and she also got to travel quite frequently. Not to mention she gained valuable and interesting contacts, including the Winchester brothers.
"Yeah, the tropics. Super hot there this time of year. I'm from England though I haven't been back there in awhile..." She really had vacationed somewhere hot, this conversation was easier than she'd thought it would be!
People were still bustling about around them, the people of this town truly seemed to be 'small town' people. Conversations were starting with what seemed to be strangers, which Bela supposed she was doing as well. High School kids were frolicking about, some couples holding hands while they chatted. Bela could attest to the fact that she had never once had a real relationship. One night stands sure, but she'd never allowed the walls down to actually let someone in. She suspected that she never would either. Focusing back onto Katie, she waited for her response in hope that she would give away her true identity.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lilith just nodded as the woman told her she was an antique dealer. It was quite an amuzing twist actually, she had met an antique dealer once... his insides were very pretty when they were on the outside. Of course she couldn't do that here in broad daylight... or probably at all anytime soon without it drawing attention to herself. So what did she do? She kept on that fake, rather eerie smile on her face as she listened to Bela talk in that annoying British accent about her stupid human life.
"Oh really? Like that show on PBS?" she asked, referring to the Antique Roadshow. Yes, shamefully the woman she was possessing actually watched said show in her past with her mother. That was one of the perks of possessing someone, access to all the little tidbits of information they knew all she had to do was go digging in that little meaty brain of course. Wow did she sound like a stupid and boring young woman... perfect! I mean she was even getting bored from listening to her tell this woman's bland life with a little spice of lie laced in of course. That was what made the best lies, truth with little lies sprinkled in to twist them until they were unrecognizable.
"The tropics are hot all year round pretty much though right?" she asked, feigning stupidity. Well it seemed like the thing to say at least, the person she was possessing was blonde after all so she fit what the ancient demon had come to understand as the 'stereotypical blonde woman'. "I've never been there myself, I hear England is lovely. You have family there yes?" she asked, not really interested at all but faking it as she always did. She was a demon, she had no care about this woman's pathetic life except how she could use it to her advantage. Manipulation was in the job description after all. -----------------------------------------

------------------------------------------What was the point of this conversation? As she thought back about her days being newly human, she had to admit, this had been the most boring of them all. Most of her time had been spent wandering around town and aimlessly walking through the streets. She observed the people and the shops, seeing what shops she might like to break into later. Or in the case of people, who she may like to rob one day. Now Bela didn't rob people on the street like some thug. No, she had more class than that. Usually she waited until someone left before breaking into their house. She was in and out before the homeowner even knew what was happening and usually, there was no evidence that anyone had even broken in. She had to admit, this had definitely been her calling.
"What? Oh yeah, kind of, I suppose." Her voice showed her obvious distraction but she didn't really care at the moment.
It could be seen that she wasn't the only one who didn't care about this situation. Katie, or so she called herself, didn't seem too interested in it either. Neither one of them seemed to be truly enjoying the conversation or genuinely interested. In fact, Bela also suspected that she hadn't been the only one lying. The woman continued on asking Bela questions and she nodded her head to confirm. This conversation had finally almost put her to sleep and as of right now, she couldn't take it anymore. Never having been one for small talk, it was hard for Bela to handle it for too long.
"I'm sorry but I should really be going, it was nice meeting you Katie." Smiling, she stood up and turned to walk out of the building. Something told her that this girl might follow her and if she didn't, that she might be seeing her again.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lilith nodded, the woman seemed a little anxious and annoyed. Why that was is a mystery to the demon, after all she was certain Bela knew nothing about her... other activities. She could just be boring the woman or the other woman could be in need of a serious f***ing. That or some other stupid human reason there was little need for. It was quite annoying actually, stupid humans. Truthfully Lilith wasn't interested in the conversation or anything about the woman's life. It was apparent the feeling was mutual as both parties seemed to have no interest in the conversation that seemed to stretch for years. This is coming from a woman who has lived... well pretty much forever.
Bela was obviously distracted and quick to leave. The woman said her goodbye and fake nice to meet you crap that humans spew. "Yes, see you around then," Lilith said after her as Bela walked away. The demon looked to the side of her, petting what would look like thin air to those around her. Of course that was only because they couldn't see the Hell Hound that was always with her. She almost always had one with her if not more for assistance or as a body guard. It was more subtle than having demons around and she trusted these demonic pit bulls a heck of a lot more than any demon.
The woman made a clicking noise with her tongue as she stood up, making sure to wait a minute after Bela left to follow after her. She put on someone's jacket rather simply, just taking it off and putting it on without a second thought. She didn't remember who had owned said jacket, but she had a hard time remembering what the persons face looked like after what she did to it.
The demon pet the Hell Hound on the top of its head, following after with the click of heels sounding as she walked. She was far from being subtle, in fact it was like she was barely trying to conceal her appearance. Of course she was following the British girl, she could probably try and pass it off as they just happened to be going the same way... idiots bought that all the time. Then again maybe part of her wanted a confrontation... or maybe she was just insane like everyone had always called her... something even she would have to admit is at least partially true. -----------------------------------------

------------------------------------------ Honestly, Bela hadn't meant to be rude. It was just that she couldn't help it, if she'd stayed she would have bored herself to death. There was something about small talk that just really bored her. She had never liked it and never would. People used it as a way of acting friendly, even when they hated your guts. It was so incredibly fake and pointless that she almost always refused to engage in it. Sometimes she forced to, in order to look normal. In that case she would power through until she felt like she'd spent a sufficient amount of time on it, and then she would quickly leave. The trick was leaving quick enough that the conversation wouldn't pick back up again.
Even the way this woman spoke seemed off to Bela. Perhaps, she thought, she was from another country or something? No one here really talked like she did, it seemed odd and slightly awkward. Though Bela wasn't exactly one to talk with her strong British accent she still thought it was weird.
After getting up, she began to walk away to wards the exit of the establishment. As she was walking she had the distinct feeling that someone was following her. The hair on the back of her neck stood up and immediately, she knew that something was wrong. Discretely turning around, she noticed that Katie was following behind her. It could have simply been a coincidence but her instincts told her that it wasn't. Continuing to walk outside, she began walking down the street. She wasn't going in any particular direction or to any particular destination, just conducting an experiment.
Turning around the corner at the next block she made a left. Behind her, she continued to hear Katie walking behind her. By now this girl was really giving Bela the creeps. Something was definitely not right and her instincts were really screaming out at her. Deciding to just be up front, she abruptly stopped walking and turned around to face the woman.
"Is there a reason your following me?" Speaking the words she snarled, obviously showing that she was not in the mood for games.
By her tone of voice she hoped that Katie would get the hint and get lost. What did this woman want with Bela? She searched her mind to see if maybe she'd met her before. Perhaps she'd stolen something from her before or something? But as she thought about it, she knew that she didn't recall this woman. So what was the deal, and who was she?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Click, click, click came the sound of heels along the pavement. The woman was not giving up on following Bela now was she? What else did she have to do at the moment? She could probably try and find the Winchesters and have a little fun with them but Ruby had something in mind that she quite enjoyed for Dean. It would be the most fun she had in ages if it went off like the two planned.
Bela turned, so not twenty seconds later Lilith rounded the same corner after her. The woman walked confidantly, not caring that her presence was or could be known by the rabbit. It is more thrilling if they can sense you said the spider to the fly. The demon of course was walking alongside the demonic pitbull called a Hell Hound. She never left home without one as many can attest too. They came in so handy after all, especially that time she had one rip Dean Winchester to shreds as Sam watched. That was such a fun little game... well until Sam tried to stab her with Ruby's knife.
It wasn't to long before Bela stopped moving at all, turning towards Lilith even to speak to her. Well this one has a backbone at least, her tone not scared but angry and even a bit bitter. It was not what she usually heard from normal people, of course most would just run instead of facing a stalker and call the police.
"Oh hello again," she said sweetly, acting a bit confused. The woman tilted her head,"Following you?" The demon shook her head, furrowing her brow as she did so like a child being told they did something bad. "I happen to live this way, by the Hyperion hotel on 3rd Street," she said pointing to the large hotel one could see from blocks away. It was partially true... the owner of the apartment was dead so she assumed control of it. It was fun, make a little deal then kill him when she had his little soul in her grasp.
The thing of it was, she didn't seem THAT angry by being accused pretty much of stalking another person. If that didn't send an odd signal off to Bela she was really stupid or she'd just lost her touch. The blonde haired demon could be possibly seen flexing her index finger down like one would when commanding a pet to lay down. Of course that would be assuming Bela would be looking at Lilith's hands that are laying on her sides. If she got close enough, and maybe if it was quiet enough Bela might be able to hear the subtle breath of the hell beast sitting next to them. -----------------------------------------
