Raphael appeared in Rome. He couldn’t believe that his siblings had let his younger brother Gabriel get away. It would take forever to find him again, knowing how well Gabriel was at hiding. He also knew that his brother was badly injured and that he probably wont survive. Raphael hated that he had to hurt his brother but it seemed like the only way he could convince him to join his side and not Castiels. But his brother was strong. He didn’t break. How did Lucifer manage to kill him with out feeling remorse? Raphael was feeling guilty about what he had done to his brother. He didn’t like it but it was necessary.

Raphael continued to walk through this city. It was the city that was famous in the bible, and Raphael had been here many times before. He liked it. It was a peaceful town. It was very old, and still standing. Raphael stopped a moment when he reached the Trevi Fountain, the one that humans go to, to throw coins in for love. Raphael knew that the Cupid angels worked through the fountain as well as valentines day. He took a few steps closer and just stared at it. He watched a young woman throw a coin in and he turned away to start walking again.

He didn’t mind Italy at all. Rome was one of the archangel’s favourite places to be. It was sad to say that since a lot of the angels that were against him think that he doesn’t like earth. It wasn’t that he didn’t like it, he just wanted what God had foretold, what Father had said will happen. Raphael had turned back to the fountain and he stopped once more, now standing in front of it again. He wished that the Winchesters hadn’t screwed up the apocalypse. He wished that Michael were still here. Michael knew exactly what needed to be done. Raphael didn’t feel as if he was doing a good enough job.

[Ruby]

Ruby had just gotten off a plain to Rome, she was there to look into some research on some things. She had heard something about Dean working with some girl in Richmond who was from Rome, she worked in some school in Rome and Ruby wanted to see what she could find out about her by checking out the school. Plus Ruby needed a break from Richmond for a bit, so what better then to Check out Rome.

Ruby just had to know what was so special about this girl, it wasn’t like Dean to work with some new girl out of the blue. Especially if they weren’t a hunter, Dean wasn’t easy to trust people right off the bat. Even when Ruby was acting good he never gave her a chance. Ruby did some research on her and this girl was not a hunter at all, but it seemed for some reason she did hunt the Supernatural and was special in some way, it was like she was chosen for something Ruby just didn’t know what it was? She hoped that maybe getting to this girl would help her get to Dean. Going after Dean’s Friends and Family was always the answer when getting to him, and with most of his pathetic family all ready being Dead Ruby was going after his friends.

Ruby continued to walk threw the streets of Rome looking at how nice the sites were there, a lot more interesting then Richmond was. Ruby then saw a big beautiful fountain and decided to go over and sit by it for a bit, when she went over there to sit down she notice a strange man in a suite just standing there. She didn’t know what was up with him, but there was something about him that was just off. It seemed as though he was mad about something, sounds a lot like how Ruby was feeling. But She always feels that way sadly, she cant help it this human world drives her up the fucking wall. Ruby then decided to say something to the man for the hell of it, “hey dude what is your deal, you pissed or something?” asked Ruby

Raphael stood there just staring at the fountain, not caring that he sensed a demon in the area. He didn’t feel the need to confront since he was fighting a bigger war in heaven. Part of him wished that he had gotten his brother to fight along side him. He knew that him and Gabriel could do a lot, make everything better, which included getting Lucifer and Michael out of the cage in hell. Gabriel was against that and Raphael knew that. He just wished that his brother didn’t betray him like he had. Raphael was just not happy about that. He didn’t view himself as ruthless, just strict and one sided. He didn’t understand the cons of bringing back the apocalypse as a lot others have.

Raphael’s attention turned to the demon he was talking to. He raised an eye brow at her. Why would a demon talk to him. It seemed like she was blind as to who he was. He recognized her as the demon that was with Sam Winchester. Sure, he knew what was going on as the Winchesters were trying to stop the apocalypse. He was surprised they even succeeded. Raphael looked at her and let out a sigh.

“shouldn’t you be running in fear, little demon?” Raphael said in his firm, deep voice.

Raphael then sensed something else on her. Something that he thought he would never sense ever again. He looked at her now really interested.

“so tell me, do you talk to angels often? I am now interested.” Raphael looked at her with a smirk.

He wasn’t going to hurt the demon if he didn’t have to. She had met Gabriel and talked to him, whether Gabriel was posing as a daft Demigod or not, Raphael would find out and get answers. This demon was the key. Raphael had also been keeping an eye on someone else that would help him out too. He was just waiting for the opportune moment.

“so what was his name, or the name that he claimed to be under?” Raphael asked her, wondering if she could help in anyway. If so then fine, if not, he would leave her alone. He didn’t care to harm a demon right now. He was just focused on getting Castiel and killing him any way he possibly could. End the civil war and bring back the apocalypse was Raphael’s main goal.

“if you can help that would be most accommodating. I hope you know I have no intentions of hurting you and you would love to know I am trying to bring back your, what do you call him, master? Lord? Father?” Raphael turned to fully face her now. He wasn’t against making a business deal with her, well part of him was. The other more than half was. She was a demon after all.

Ruby watched as he turned and looking at her, she almost wished she really wouldn’t have said anything to him at all. By the way he was looking at her it didn’t seem good, he then spoke to her telling her that he knew what she was and who she was. “I don’t run in fear often, lets just say that I don’t sacred easy. And you be very surprised in all that I have accomplished for being a little demon, I hold my own. Now just how is it that you know what I am, been doing your home work have we?” Asked Ruby with a smile.

Then the man said something that Ruby was not going to like so much, she didn’t run in fear often. But when it came to being face to face with an Angel that was a whole different ball game for her. Which was why she never put herself in that position ever, Ruby was petrified of Angels she didn’t like them in any way shape or form. Except for Lucifer Ruby would do anything he asked of her, what better then look up to the man that could give you so much power.

She was not happy about this at all, she didn’t know coming here she would run smack into an Angel. Ruby then spoke trying not to sound sacred even though she was shaking in her boots, this was not easy for her at all “No I really don’t mess with Angels a whole lot, seeing that we aren’t exactly on the top of your Facebook friends list or anything if you know what I mean.” Said Ruby.

He then asked something about a man with different names, Ruby didn’t really know what he was talking about. She knew she might want to answer him though soon, other wise she would be dead here very soon. But then it came to her, she remembered the man she met not telling her everything about himself at all. She wonder if that’s who he was speaking of, it was worth a shot to see. “Oh are you talking about the ass hole that fucked up my car, yeah he goes by the trickster or something. My question it what would an Angel want with him, if you don’t mind me asking?” Asked Ruby.

He then told Ruby something that really made her interested in helping him, he wanted to bring back her lord. Ruby changed her shit up real quick, trying not to be sacred and wanting to hear everything that he had to say. “I can help you with whatever you need, just tell me and I will do it!” Said Ruby. She was all for this and would do whatever he want of her, her only question was how were they planning on bring her lord back?

Raphael looked around then back at the black eyed demon. She said that she didn’t run in fear often and that she didn’t get scared easily. He laughed sarcastically at her last statement. He didn’t say anything but continued to contemplate his next move. He wanted Castiel dead more now than he ever did since he had convinced Raphael’s younger brother to join him. Raphael didn’t understand it at all. At least he knew that his brother also liked to do something else in his free time.

Raphael looked at her when she said that she didn’t mess with angels a lot. She was a semi smart demon. He looked at her confused about the whole face book thing. Raphael then looked at her after he asked her about Gabriel. She looked confused herself, but Raphael knew deep down she understood what he was asking of her. Raphael then got the idea. An idea that would cause Gabriel to jump sides, something that Raphael wasn’t new to. He smirked to himself and he then looked at her when she started swearing. “WATCH YOUR MOUTH DEMON.” Raphael yelled, lightning coming out of nowhere. He doesn’t tolerate things like that. Raphael had to be careful there though. He didn’t want to loose a simple pawn in his plan. A simple, yet important pawn.

Raphael nodded. “Trickster. Funny, he thinks that I wouldn’t notice. Simple fool.” Raphael looked at Ruby and smirked. “that so called Trickster you ran into was my brother. The Archangel Gabriel. He betrayed me, joined the opposing team if you will. I want him to fight with me, not against me. That and I want the other angel Castiel dead since he is my competitor, but one thing at a time, right?” Raphael looked at her. “you deliver to me and I, you, maybe.” Raphael looked at her and smiled when she said that she would help any way possible. She seemed happy. "thats what I like to hear." Raphael said. He probably would smite the demon if she refused. He was glad that she had offered her services.

Ruby really didn’t like messing with this Angel at all, it not really something she like to do in her spare time. She could tell that she had pissed off this Angel to just by the tone he was getting with her alone with the lightning. Ruby didn’t know what to say next, her next word could be her last. Ruby was standing there silent stiff as a board, she was scared as all hell. “ I’m sorry sometimes I cant help my mouth it just comes out, that don’t happened for you?” Ruby asked.

Ruby did agree with Raphael the trickster was annoying, he was a waste of space. After everything he had done to Ruby along with her car, she wouldn’t mind seeing him dead. “Yeah I agreed with you there 100 present, he is a fool a stupid fool. If you want me to kill him I’m all for that, but he is a big tough. You got any suggestions?” Ruby asked. He then told Ruby what the trickster really was, he’s an Archangel. “I knew he was something I could just feel it off of him, and as for Castiel I would love to see him dead. I can try and bring them to you and help in anyway that I can, all I ask is for Dean Winchester dead. It would be great if you could try and help me take care of him, I know you wouldn’t mind seeing him dead as well I’m I right? I mean he is a Castiel follower.” Said Ruby

Ruby was happy to know somebody was working with her even if it was an Angel, it was about time someone else wanted to help her. “So what is the plan then do have one yet? Because I’m ready whenever.” Asked Ruby.

Raphael looked at her as she coward in fear. He thought it was much needed, but he wasn’t really going to care about it. All Raphael cared about was having Gabriel on his side and that surely would allow them to win the war. Castiel would die at Raphael’s hands. There was no doubt about that.

Raphael looked at Ruby as she went on and on. “no. you will not kill my younger brother. I will deal with him myself. He can aid me in this war, and same with Castiel. They are both my responsibility if you will, and I will deal with them accordingly. There is one simple thing I need you to do, what will force my brother to join me.” Raphael paused and he looked at her wondering if she could handle the job. Something told him that she could probably succeed and if she does, he would give her Dean Winchester on a silver platter. “theres a little someone he hangs with a lot. She is a prophet and she is protected by him but he really doesn’t do a great job at it, but don’t take her too lightly.” Raphael said looking at her again.

“succeed in delivering her to me and I will give you Dean Winchester to do with as you please. With this prophet in our possession, Gabriel will do anything to keep her safe. I guarantee that.” Raphael finished, now turning to face her. It wasn’t every day that an angel would work with a demon, but at this point, Raphael, not that he was desperate, but was willing to try anything.

“Though, if you get Castiel I wouldn’t mind you handing him over dead or alive. I just want to see him dead.” Raphael then said, not really caring anymore if he killed Castiel himself.

Ruby wasn’t happy hearing that Gabriel wasn’t going to die, but in away maybe this will be like torture to him having to work with his brother, other wise this Angel would kill his ass. And from what Ruby remembers Gabriel doesn’t really like to listen to anyone, so Ruby knew this what not end well for him. “Ok I’m all for whatever you need me to do” Ruby said with a smile, happy and willing. Ruby couldn’t wait to see what he was going to have her do, she was ready to bring someone pain it was what she did best. Another person pain was her pleasure, its what she loved to do.

Then Raphael told Ruby about Gabriel’s friend and how she was a prophet, this made Ruby very interested in taking the job now. “A Prophet huh?” said Ruby. Just thinking about dealing with this job was getting Ruby going, this was going to piss off that fucking Angel so much she couldn’t wait. “Don’t worry I will bring her to you in no time, and you are right he will do anything you want him to if you have her, you will have Gabriel right were you want him, He will be eating out of the palm of your hand. And you know him and Dean are friends, so having him out of the way will help you as well.” Said Ruby with a evil like smile on her face still.

Then he said something that was like sweet music to Ruby’ ears, telling her she could do what she wanted with Castiel. Ruby hated that fucking Angel with a fiery passion, he was part of the reason he master was sent back to hell, So Ruby was all for ending him as much as killing Dean. “ Don’t worry if I see Castiel I will make sure to end him, its one of the top priorities on my list right next to his bitch Dean.” Said Ruby.

Raphael could tell that Ruby wasn’t happy. He merely laughed at her. He wondered if he could allow her to do what she wanted as long as he didn’t die… no he already did that and it did hurt him. “don’t worry about Gabriel. I already got a crack at him after he betrayed me. We will say I left him in a lot of pain. So think of that as your revenge and use the prophet as your revenge towards him. I don’t really mind. Just don’t kill her other wise it wont work. Break a few bones, show him I am serious.” Raphael said in response to her facial expressions. When she said that she would do anything he needed her to do he smiled and nodded.

“Madison Saxon is her name. he moves her around a lot because her father is a demon. You may know him. He is fairly powerful. James is his name, I think. don’t really know. She is supposed to be protected but seeing as I am far to busy for it and noticed that a demigod, not knowing it was Gabriel had taken interest I left it alone. But now that I know its all very interesting and a bit disgusting.” Raphael said as he sat down, offering the seat on his right to her. She then started talking again. “he is friends with the Winchesters? I just thought he was defending that other angel I tried to kill, the one that was friends with Castiel and called in the Winchesters because they are closest to Castiel. But, come to think of it, I guess they would be wouldn’t they. Castiel and his team free will. Makes me sick.” Raphael said.

Ruby seemed happy about being able to do what she wanted with Castiel. That made him smile. It was great to know that Castiel was on his own in the supernatural world. “the top one now is Madison.” Raphael redirected her. Raphael was happy that he could get a plan going again. He still wasn’t sure if he had traitors in his own organization of angels. At least this way he didn’t have to worry about Ruby betraying him. It would be in her best interest not to. “I would advise you not to speak of this to your boss Lilith, but if it is a must, having another hand wouldn’t be too bad, just as long as the Winchesters and Castiel are the only three bodies I see.”

The more and more he was telling her the details, the more Ruby could wait to do this job, this was really getting Ruby going in a sick and twisted way. She really had needed to take out her anger for what Gabriel had done, and just for everything in general lately she needed to blow off some steam. “Oh Don’t worry I wont kill her, I enjoy torching a bit more then killing sometimes. I promise to have her back to you in one piece.” Said Ruby with a smile.

Ruby walked over and took the seat beside Raphael on the bench, she listened as he continued to talk. It sounded like this Madison Saxon girl was pretty interesting, Ruby was very integer to meet her. It sounded like she had a lot of background on her, Ruby knew she have to look some of it up. “Yeah they all make me sick, I wish they were all dead, and soon I’m hoping to make that happened by my own hands. Team free who the hell do they think they are? So stupid it make me want to puke.” Said Ruby laughing.

He wanted Ruby to make sure she knew what the main job was, and that was getting Madison. Ruby understood what she had to do, she knew that waiting for going after Dean was going to have a great outcome. “I will make sure Madison is top priority, you have my word.” Said Ruby. He then told Ruby that she might not want to tell Lilith, which my be smart on Ruby’s part. “No offense I’m not saying anything to her, not only will she not like that I’m working with Angel but she wont like that it wasn’t her idea. So I keeping this between us.” Said Ruby

Raphael watched the demon curiously. She seemed very excited about this job. Good he needed enthusiasm. Gabriel would wish that he didn’t betray Raphael. Raphael smiled when she said that she wouldn’t kill the prophet. He would have to kill her in return if she did. “that would be desirable. Just remember if you kill her I will kill you with out hesitation.” Raphael shot her a glare. “just to warn you she is trained in martial arts and carries an angel blade that can kill us all. I am sure you can handle it.” Raphael added. He looked back away from her and knew that this would only benefit him and her. He knew that it could only go uphill from here, though he would have to be careful once Gabriel finds out because he would go through hell to get the prophet back.

The demon Ruby was agreeing with him. Probably just to get on his good side. All she had to do to accomplish that was deliver the girl and that would be that. Then Raphael would leave her alone and wouldn’t care what she did. The Archangel looked at her and nodded. He agreed. Free will. That was a stupid thought. Angels weren’t supposed to have free will. They were supposed to follow the written word of their father and not fail him but Castiel seems to think that free will is more important than their father. What a fool.

Raphael smiled at her statement. that’s a good demon. Raphael looked at her and he nodded. She had repeated that Madison was a top priority and that’s all he needed to know. Raphael looked at her when she started talking about Lilith. That was a good thought. Fine. He didn’t care, just at least she got the job done. that’s all he cared about. Raphael stood up and looked at her. “call me when you have her. Make sure you don’t screw up.” Raphael said and with this he started walking away.
