~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow was bored and needed to get herself some new clothes, so why not head to the mall. She was getting really tired of wearing the same stuff and her closet looked way to empty for her. Willow didn’t get to pack much before she had left Rome, they were in such a hurry to get there the last thing she could do was grab all her stuff at once. Willow was taking one of the rental cars they had gotten from the airport, Willow was driving a Ford Edge. It was a big car but nice, Willow liked it but she wasn’t going to lie, the one Buffy was driving was a way hotter car. Willow was driving down the streets of mystic Falls trying to find the Mall, “Were the heck is there a mall here anyway?” Willow said to herself mad. Willow then remembered there was a place about a half an hour away called Mid Rivers, they had everything in that town. So Willow decided to go into Mid Rivers and check it out too see if they had a Mall. After while driving in town, Willow found a huge Mall that read The Mid Rivers Mall. “Cool a mall finally! It was about time I found one.” Willow said as she was driving in the entrance. Willow then was looking to see if she could find a good place to park, as always the mall was packed and there were no places to park, “man this must be a good mall, there is not were to freaking park here!” Willow eventually found a place to park and started to make her way inside the mall, when Willow walked in the door she was amazed by how big it was. It was very lit up and bright with lots of stores, she didn’t know which one to go to first, Willow could smell how good the food from the food court smelt. It was making Willow hungry too, but Willow knew she needed to wait to eat and start getting clothes, she would be eating dinner with gang later anyway. All Willow needed to do now was figure out what store to hit first? Word Count- 370 Tagged- OPEN Outfit-Click to see Willow's cute outfit!Car Click to see Willow's carNote-~~~~~~~~~~~
---------------------- ---------------------- Lucas had originally come to this lovely place known as the Mid Rivers mall with his mother...then again one usually, at only the age of eleven, is stuck by said parent until they leave the mall. No, but his mother wasn't like that...which is kind of a not good thing seeing as she apparently ditched him. Well that is perhaps a little bit to harsh, more like she forgot him...like the time she forgot to pick him up from soccer practice for four hours until his older sister figured out someone hadn't picked him up when her parents got home and there was no little brother to be found.
Onto the subject at hand, he was alone at the mall with pretty much nothing on him. He was only eleven so he only had what money his mother had given him which was certainly not a lot...maybe five dollars. So what was this young man to do...try and find his mom of course! Or at the very least someone he knew...a neighbor perhaps or something. Then again he actually didn't know many of his neighbors...they were mostly old folks after all. The blond boy looks around the front of the mall near the parking area for her. She didn't seem to be there...then again she was on call during their trip so she might have just left and forgot she had brought the boy with.
The boy looked around...spotting someone from the back he thought he knew. He walked towards her, his shortness making it kind of hard to tap her on the shoulder so he settled for pulling at her clothes. In actuality the woman did look a little like his sister...though shorter and from the front easily distinguishable from her. Then again he couldn't see the front. "Tina?" he questioned, meaning if she was his sister Kristina. Of course if the person ever turned around he would easily be able to tell that it totally was not her. She was in Seattle after all...at least to his knowledge.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow was looking at looking till finally she found a store that screamed her, “I like this store, they look like they have some nifty stuff, I think I will check them out and see what they have.” Willow said as she entered the store. When she walked in Willow looking around the store to see if she like it, and so far she loved it! It screamed her just with all there cute color full clothes they have, and the fact that it looked like they sold a lot of jackets which Willow loved. Willow looked and looked till finally she found a Jacket that she absolutely loved and wanted, The only problem with it was it had no price tag on it,. So Willow walked up to the register to ask the woman how much it was. Willow made to the counter and asked, “Excuse me do you know how much this jacket is, I would like to maybe buy it please.” The woman scanned it for Willow and told her it was a $500 dollar jacket. Willow eyes went big in shock, she couldn’t believe how much they actually wanted for that Jacket. Willow then said handing it back, “Never mind I don’t need the Jacket that bad, I can always conger one up and make one my self If I really wanted to.” The woman then looked at Willow like she was crazy, not knowing that she was actually a witch. Willow then walked away still in shock for how much they really wanted for the Jacket for, way to much for her price range. she remembers then why in school she dressed they way she did, no money because her father and mother were real cheap cheepskates. One of the many joys of being a Jewish girl growing up in a Jewish home. Willow was now walking threw the mall trying to fine a store that fit her tastes, so far nothing really caught her eye. Willow walked back towards the front of the mall to maybe find a map that showed all the stores. Willow was bound to find a store that she wanted to check and didn’t kill all of her money at once, she hoped to maybe find some kind of a magic store. Then as Willow was standing there someone grabbed her, she turned around to the cutest little boy she had ever seen. Willow wonder if maybe he was lost? If so maybe she could help, but first she wanted to try and not scare him off so she could help him. So Willow leaded and asked him, “No I’m sorry sweetie my name is Willow, what is your name?” Word Count- 451 Tagged- OPEN Outfit-Click to see Willow's cute outfit!Car Click to see Willow's carNote-~~~~~~~~~~~

---------------------- ---------------------- Lucas looked up at Willow as she turned around to face him. Well she definitely was not Kristina. Then again it was just a fleeting hope that the boy had, a childish one that was allowed of course because...he's a child. The blond haired boy tilted his head a little as she introduced herself as Willow. It was a weird name...it was a tree! Tree lady seemed nice enough though, she hadn't tried to kidnap him so far after all.
"L..uke..." he said hesitantly. Now that he got a look at the much older woman he was starting to like her. Of course that had nothing to do with that fact she was pretty at all...hold for laughter. It was like where the more attractive babysitters and teachers and the like were always treated better by the kids because they were pretty...like the little school boy crushes that plagued middle school aged children.
He stared at her with those big, brown eyes not being very talkative. He was alone...sort of...and eleven so that was probably the reaction most kids would give when talking to a stranger. Then again he knew there were some boys in his class that would be acting all flirty and talkative right now...or so they said. He had never actually seen any of them do something like that but he didn't really have any friends.
The preteen boy just stared wide-eyed at Willow for a little bit. After some time...or at least to a child in retrospect it was probably no more than ten seconds...he got the courage to speak again. "...your pretty," he said in a childish tone. He just stood there with those brown eyes staring. He was fairly certain his mother had forgotten him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow felt bad and could tell the boy was sacred when He told her that his name was Luke, he said it in a slow like tone. Willow was mad and felt bad for this boy, what was he even doing walking around by himself. Man if people only knew what was really out there, they might watch there kids a bit more. But in this would sadly maybe not, people just don’t really care anymore. Willow’s Mom and Dad didn’t really, Willow Mom tried to kill her and burn her at the stake. Not one of Willow’s best memories at all, she is still trying to forget it. Willow then told him still leaning down “Aww that is a very cute Name Luke, and it is very nice to meet you.” Willow put out her hand to shake his. “So may I ask Luke why are you alone, I mean were is your Mommy or Daddy at? Are they shopping somewhere and you got lost? If you like I can help you find them?” Willow knew she was asking the boy a lot of questions, but with kids sometimes it helps them. Willow might have been freaking out a bit herself to, but she just wanted to help this boy in anyway that she could. Then not long after Willow asked him all the questions, he answered her with telling Willow she was pretty. Willow heart melted right after she heard that, “Aww you are so sweet!” Willow said with a big smile on her face. “Thank you, you know you are very cute yourself.” Willow then remember him saying something about thinking she was some girl named Kristina, “Hey Luke Who is Kristina is she your Mom or something?” Willow asked in a sweet like tone, trying to get this boy to tell her something. ---------------------- ---------------------- Lucas looked up at Willow as she spoke to him, asking a bunch of questions like all adults do. What is with that...I mean they are adults aren't they supposed to know everything? Like they can read minds and see everything kids do no matter how sneaky they are! Then again he had always heard his parents say pretty people were usually dumb...maybe she was dumb?
"I was here with my mommy," he started as she asked him why he was there all alone,"but I think she forgot me..." He kind of trailed off at that, she wasn't the best parent in the world apparently. Then again he was only a child so he could be over exaggerating things. Well in this case he actually wasn't but hey once in a blue moon. He looked at Willow with those big, brown eyes as she called him sweet. That brought a smile to his chubby little face...well baby fat mostly since he was still only eleven.
Not only that but he got complimented...though she called him cute. Weren't girls supposed to calls guys like handsome or something because cute is what girls were. At least if television and his family taught him anything that was the case. Then came the question who Kristina was. He shook his head as she guessed who Kristina was. "No, she's my big sister..." he said, trailing off again. Of course expecting her was nothing more than a childish hope since he thought she was in Seattle, Washington right now with her Watcher...who he assumed was still alive.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow was in aww with this kid, he was just so little and cute. Who would want leave him here alone like this, he is just way to adorable for that. “I don’t think your Mommy forgot you, there is no way. How could anyone do that to a you, your just so cute you know that.” Willow said trying to keep him smiling. Willow just didn’t want to get this little boy all sacred, but she was pissed of! What kind of a mother just leaves there kid in a mall with all these strangers, not a very good one at all that was for sure. Willow knew now she had to help this kid some how, she would do a spell to help him but there are to many round for that. Plus she didn’t need to give the kid a heart attack and die, that might not look very good at all. He then told Willow that his sister name was Kristina, which was good to know maybe she was around. He did come up behind Willow and call her name by that name. “So Lucas you called Kristina, is she maybe around here somewhere then? Maybe we could find her to help you get back to your mom” Willow told him. But Willow shouldn’t depend on his sister, she didn’t really know anything about her. For all Willow knows she might not care about her brother at all, she could have been in on leaving him here. Willow then asked him curious “ So Lucas are you close with your sister then? I mean How old is she?” Willow knew she might want to asked that, just because he thought Willow was her doesn’t mean she wasn’t young a girl. After all Willow isn’t really all that tall. “ So Lucas how did this happen why did you get left here anyway, I mean did you wander off and if so why. You know you should have stayed with your mommy little man.” Willow said with a smile. ---------------------- ---------------------- Lucas shrugged as Willow talked about how he was to cute to be forgotten. It was actually nice to hear that...or get attention actually as his parents were kind of workaholics these days and with his sister back in Seattle that means little time with anyone. Well if he had some friends his own age things might be different but that so far wasn't the case here in this little town.
Lucas shook his head when she said something about looking for Kristina. "She's in Seattle...I think...they don't tell me anything but I can keep secrets...I'm eleven not a baby," he kind of whined...like a child of course thinking he is older than he really is. It was always kind of funny to watch, adorable to some of course as he was a cute little eleven year old boy. The blond looked at Willow as she questioned more about his sister.
"She's the bestest sister ever...even though she's older than me," he said, taking note later that she asked her sisters age. Oops, he should really have paid more attention to her words all at once but he was only eleven so it couldn't be helped much. "She's twenty-two," he said with a smile. So way older than him...actually right now she was exactly twice his age, eleven years older than him.
Then Willow started blaming him...at least that's what he thought in his eleven year old head! He looked away and pouted a little, "I just had to go to the bathroom..." It was kind of true, except he, like all kids in trouble, left off the part where he didn't tell his mother where he was going. It was probably a good thing to mention but the notion of getting in trouble was more fear inducing than anything else. The mind of a child was a strange place.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow though it was so cute when he was trying to act all like a big kid, saying he is not a baby. Willow then said with a smile, “No you are not a baby you are a big kid right. Wow you eleven huh that is a big number you know, and it is good to know you can keep secrets. If I ever have one you will be the fist I tell. How does that sound to you?” Willow just loved this kid, a part of her just wanted to take him home and not give him back. But she knew she couldn’t do that, she needed to find this boy mom some how. Willow thought this little boy was actually very smart for his age, “Yeah your sister is a lot older then you, you know you are lucky I never had any siblings growing up." Said Willow. Willow didn’t have any brother or sister growing up but she was ok with that, she did have Xander who was always there for her. Buffy had became more then just a friend she was more like family to Willow, so she didn’t mind the no sibling factor much. Willow then could tell the boy was a bit upset, like Willow was blaming him or something. “I’m sorry I wasn’t saying it was your fault, I just feel really bad that you lost your mom that is all. Look I get worried because I know what it out there in the world, and trust me it is not a very safe place at all.” Willow said looking at the boy with worry. Willow was really growing to like this kid, he was really smart and fanny for his age. She wasn’t going to leave him till he was with his family. Willow then wondered why his sister wasn’t living here, Willow then asked “ you know I’m sure your sister would be happy to know that you think she is the best sister in the whole world, why does she not live her with you? That is if you don’t mind me asking” Word Count- 358 Tagged- OPEN Outfit-Click to see Willow's cute outfit!Car Click to see Willow's carNote-~~~~~~~~~~~

---------------------- ---------------------- Lucas smiled when she said if she had a secret he'd be the first she'd tell. He had a big childish grin on his face because of that, it made him feel important! I mean what child wouldn't like being told something first...of course children keeping secrets for more than five seconds was sometimes also called a miracle. So far this boy had been doing well...though most of it was because he was kept in the dark about the majority of things. He was only a child after all.
He looked up at her with wide eyes,"N....none at all?" He kind of stuttered, surprise evident in his voice. Like it was some shock that there were kids who didn't have siblings. It was kind of sad, he couldn't imagine not having a sister...then again he really didn't have to because he had Kristina all alive and well. "Every grown up says that..." he said, childish innocence in his tone. Almost every adult would say what she had said about knowing what's out there. Of course there was truth to it, as the innocence of childhood was regularly lost in adulthood.
"She goes to school...but she's suppose to come home soon with an award or something," he said, implying she was graduating or something like that with a degree. He had no idea what that degree was or anything like that but she was getting it. Actually the girl was due back sometime this week if memory served. It would give him someone to talk to without threat of parental interference and got him off the hook of the terrible babysitter he sometimes got stuck with! He'd be safer home alone...in his opinion at least.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow could tell that Little boy was starting to warm up to her more, he was just so sweet Willow wanted more then anything to help him. Being around him made Willow realize how much she really loved kids and maybe wanted to have them with Tara one day. Tara and Willow had never really talked about kids before, With them breaking up and then getting back then shortly after that Willow losing Tara. It was just something that never got brought up. But it is something she might like to do in the future with Tara, that is when life is not so crazy. But who knows when that will ever happen for Willow and they gang even. He then told Willow that his sister was at school, he said she was there winning something. Willow thought that was so cute, she knew what he was trying to get at. His sister was away at collage trying to get a diploma, at lest that what it sounded like. What else could it really be, “You know I think your sister might be going to College to get a diploma, does that maybe sound about right to you” Willow asked curiously. Willow knew that he probably didn’t get to see his sister that much, she felt kind of sad for him. He almost seemed like he didn’t have many friends. Willow then wanted to make more of a conversation with him, before having to find his mom. He was only a kid but yet Willow was having a good time talking with him, she was going to be a bit sad when he had to go back with his mom. “So Lucas do you have a lot of friends that you play with around here? I‘m new to this town so I don’t really know anyone here, so far you are really the only friend I have made here.” Willow told him with a smile. ---------------------- ---------------------- Lucas nodded to Willow. "Yeah that," he said confirming the nod. She was going to school for a degree. He really hadn't paid as much attention as he should when they explained it. Of course he did act a little younger than he was for some reason sometimes. It was weird, but then again he was used to being the baby of the family so it wasn't that surprising.
Lucas shook his head when she asked about if he had many friends he played with. "No, the other kids at school don't really talk to me," he said, sounding a little sad. He didn't have many friends at school...actually he had maybe one or two that he could call friends. He was like Willow had been during her high school years...two friends. Though she eventually made more and had a boyfriend...then girlfriend and such but that wasn't the point of this was it?
The boy smiled when she called him a friend, showing teeth. "Making friends is hard," he said with that big grin on his face. Its not surprising he like making friends with older people since most of his life was raised by his older sister whom he did a lot with...and was someone who tagged along with stuff she did when he could. He was even tolerated by her friends, though the time they tried to put make up on him blacklisted a few of her friends for life. There were some things you just didn't do to a boy. He was kind of quiet, but still he was more talkative then he had been to Willow...warming up to the woman and answering any question she had asked.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow wanted to cry when he told her that the other kids don’t really talk to him, which Willow didn’t get at all. He seemed like a sweet yet nice kid to have as your friend, so why kids didn’t talk to him Willow was lost on. “So why don’t the other kids talk to you Lucas? I just met you and I’m having a great time talking with you. Well it don’t matter anyway you have a friend now, and that friend is me Willow Rosenberg.” said Willow with a smile. It just made Willow mad at the other kids to hear that, some kids in school were just so mean. Willow didn’t have it easy in school ether, kids would pick on her for anything they could find. Whether it be what she was wearing, what she was doing wrong, who she was hanging with , or even what her mom packed in her lunch that day. After while though it didn’t bother her anymore, all Willow really worried about anyway was her studies. Willow loved doing school work and leaning new things everyday, that was another thing she got picked on for wanting to do school work. Yeah the kids in school really were pathetic, and it sounds like nothing has changed. Willow did agree it was hard making friends, the only real friend Willow had really in school was Xander. That is in till Buffy came along, she had became one of Willow’s best friends. And in meeting Buffy she also met Giles, who will always be a great friend and mentor to Willow. “Yeah I can agree with you there it is hard making friends, but you can give up. Trust me you are a great person who is going to have a lot of friends.” said Willow. ---------------------- ---------------------- "They think I'm weird," he said truthfully. He was that weird kid in school...even though he really wasn't that weird. All the teachers knew who he was too because of his mother since she was pretty well respected as a doctor. His sister was actually mistaken as his mother a few times because of the age difference and the fact she was at school functions more than his actual parents were. It was kind of funny actually.
He smiled at Willow as she encouraged him and praised him. "You have lots of friends?" he questioned...that childish curiousness rearing its head...then came the flood of questions. "What's your favorite color...is it Red or Blue? Green is mine...do you have a job...do you have a boyfriend?" He questioned. If anyone knew his sister one could definitely tell they were related with that. Of course he really didn't do this unless he was comfortable with someone...while Kristina was just blabbing to complete strangers about Harry Potter or how Twilight was awful. It was his role model who shaped him after all.
The blond haired child looked up at Willow as he asked lots of questions, fidgeting as he asked questions...kind of impatiently waiting for answers. He was a little nosy...but then again weren't all kids? It was the way of children to get under your skin in a few ways until you either wanted to keep them or become celibate because of how they were. It was always kind of funny to see which one people were...of course he really didn't know what any of this was or meant.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow didn’t know what they were talking about, he wasn’t weird. If anything his family was for leaving him to walk around a mall all alone. “Well you are not weird so don’t listen to them, but really theses days what really is normal anymore you know?” said Willow, like the kid was really old enough to get what she was saying. Willow was right about one thing, there really weren’t any normal people in the world anymore. Well for starters Willow is a witch, Buffy is a immortal Slayer and they hang out with Vampires (Angel and Spike). So Willow life was way far from normal at all. He then asked Willow if she had any friends, “you know I don’t have a lot of friends my self, I have just a couple of really good friends that’s about it. Buffy is my best friend I can tell her anything, dawn which her sister me and her are close, and then there is Xander I have known him since I was like 5. But yeah I will have to introduce them to you sometime.” said Willow. He then started asking Willow a lot of questions, to the point she didn’t know what to answer for him first. “Look slow down” Willow said laughing. “ man you are asking a lot of stuff. Well I guess I like green, no I don’t have a job and yes I have a girl…..” Willow then stopped not knowing if she should really tell a young boy that she was gay. “No I don’t have a boyfriend, I’m all alone just me.” Willow didn’t really think he would understand her dating a girl. Willow then looked at the time and knew she might want to find him his mom and soon. They had to be worried sick, or at lest Willow hopes they do. “ so any idea about were we could go to maybe look for your mom, what stores in this mall does she like anyway?” Asked Willow sounding lost. Willow then found a security who looked like he was looking for the kid, the man told Willow that they had found his mom and that she was worried sick. Willow was so very happy to hear that, so she gave him a big hug good bye. “It was so nice meeting you Lucas, you take care buddy.” Willow watched as he walked way knowing she was going to miss him.
