------------------------------------------ Another night in this hell hole of a town. It was really starting to get old and she was getting tired of it. There was never anything to do, and there weren't that many rich people to where she could break in somewhere and not make the newspaper. Not trying to draw attention to herself she had resisted the urge to break into someone's house or apartment, though it was tempting. There weren't tons of rich people here, but the few rich people there were seemed to be all about class. That attracted her, class meant real money. It was the people that flaunted their money and bought cheap flashy items like Ferrari's and etc. that didn't really have all that much money.
Now she was walking along this bridge, just trying to clear her head. The wind had picked up and it was a little bit chilly but she didn't mind. Cold was kind of nice after spending so much time in hell. That was just a cliche, it really was hot down there! Her arm hair pricked up as a breeze gusted by her and she shivered slightly. Wanting a better view, she walked to the side of the bridge and leaned on her elbows to look over the edge. It looked like a pretty long drop and for a second, she had the urge to jump. Not in a suicidal way at all, as there was water below. It might be nice to go for a swim. But she knew these were silly thoughts so she allowed them to slip for her mind for right now.
Before they could slip away, another thought joined them. Now she was wondering how many people had jumped off the bridge. Either suicidal or not, she simply wondered how many people had been brave enough to try it. Then her mind went to think about if anyone had died here. Why she was being so morbid she didn't know, but at least her mind was occupied for now. Deciding to be a bit daring, she stepped back from the bridge. She then lifted herself up to the railing so she could walk along it. If her balance wasn't perfect, she'd fall. Continuing to walk she slowly began making her way down the bridge railing.
As she balanced she thought about why she was here, why she'd been pulled out of hell to come back and be human. Also, who brought her back? Obviously whoever did it must have an agenda with her, but she hadn't been approached by anyone yet. So why the hell was she here? It wasn't that she wasn't happy, she just had a lot of questions. For instance, did she have another time limit like last time? Were there some number of years when she'd have her soul stolen from her again? Honestly, she could care less about the soul, she just hated dying. And hell. If she could live on Earth without a soul, she most likely would. She hated feelings and usually avoided having them. Her arms outstretched to the side, she continued to contemplate her new existence as she balanced down the side of the bridge.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Spike ventured out of his crypt long enough to go get a pack of cigarettes, whiskey, and a new ligther. Spike had a habit of smoking cigarettes and drinking but it was never something to pass the time. Since nothing was on the telly and there was nothing he else he could do, Spike hopped on his Harley and rode to some where in town he had never been before, the wickery bridge. Spike couldn't explain the impulse that told him the bridge was the place to go. Spike didn't over analyze anything he just drove with a cigarette in his mouth and whiskey in his duster.
Almost too soon the ride was over and the cigarette was nothing but a butt. Spike arrived at the east end of the bridge and began to walk the distance to get to the other end of the bridge. He began walking a slowing pace. Spike wondered how long it had been since he walked with such a clear mind. Come to think of it Spike never had a clear mind. Spike was always worried about one thing. Love. And how to keep it. His mind and body went through so many girls; Drusilla, Harmony, Buffy... it almost made him to tired to try any more. Spike thought about how Drusilla drove him to jealousy and acts of stupid violence, though enjoyed at the time. He thought about how Harmony ran her mouth so much itmad him want to commit suicide. If he would have known this bridge long ago it would have saved him from all the headaches and heartbreaks that would come with Buffy.
Spike looked into the water at the side of the bridge. He wondered how deep it was. He wondered how many guys had jumped off this bridge because a woman drived him insane or broke his bloody heart, or even played him to the very last second of his death. He knew all to well what it was like. Spike swore to himself that it would never happen like that again. He would find someone he could be with. Someone that would love who he was even though he was a vampire with a soul. How stupid that sounded, he laughed to his self "I maybe love's bitch..." he stopped talking and continued his thought. "Who in their bloody right mind could love someone as pathetic as me?!" Spike was shouting his thoughts at this point.
Spike looked around to see if he was alone and noticed a girl walking on a very thing edge, literally. He hurried over to her quickly and said "Luv? Do you have a death wish? I can help with your problem....You're too pretty to waste a live like yours. Trust me in the end it all gets better." He spoke gentle to the girl as he grabbed her hand to guide her down. "I'm Spike, but you can call me Willam." he looked up into her eyes and said "Would you like to spend the night with me....." he paused "...what's your name luv?" he asked with a sexy slow smile. he pulled the whiskey from his pocket and held it up to her "Drink your sorrows and pain away with me. It works for awhile but when it goes away it's nice to have a lovely bird next to you to enjoy the sobering up with." He winked at her and kissed her hand, as she still stood on the edge.

------------------------------------------ It was hard to resist the urge to jump. Bela had always been about the thrill, ever since a young age. That was more than likely one of the reasons she'd become an expert thief. Getting away with it and not even being on the radar was such a thrill, knowing how good you are at what you do, there's nothing better than that. Sometimes it was the only reason she'd helped the Winchester brother's, for the thrill. They were always up to something crazy and it was quite amusing. Though several times she'd actually needed their help, though she hated admitting it. She had run into Dean the other night but she'd wished it would have been Sam. For some reason she'd always had a bit of a thing for Sam, though nothing would ever become of it. Hearing the sound of a motorcycle, it slightly threw her off guard and she stumbled a bit. After almost falling, she found her balance once again and continued on walking down the thin railing. Sometimes she wondered if she really did just love a thrill, or she was wanting to self sabotage herself. Either way she continued to walk, loving the sound of the water lapping beneath her feet. It was still a bit cold outside and the water had to be freezing, swimming would be quite invigorating. However before she could even finish her thought, she was approached by a man. He seemed a bit punk rocker-ish which had never been her style, but he did have a handsome face. He outstretched his hand for her to recieve it but she ignored it, continuing to walk.
"No death wish, not a fan of death; that's for sure." Of course she was speaking of her recent trip to hell, but this man would never understand what she was talking about. She didn't plan on explaining it either, so she hoped he wouldn't ask. It would only make her look crazy and she really didn't want to stick out in this town. It would be much better for business if she stayed low key and under the radar. That is, if she even decided to set up shop here yet. As of right now she was still trying to decide if it was worth it to set up shop in town with the Winchester brother's here. She needed something to do though, she was starting to go crazy in this town!
"I'm Bela, nice to meet you." Her eyes glowed as he kissed her hand, it was something most people in England did and she noticed that he had an English accent. 'Are you from England? I lived in London most of my life." She said, and he most have noticed her accent as well. It was pretty pronounced in her voice. As she talked to him she took her hand back and continued to walk along the railing. When he offered her the whiskey, she shrugged and accepted it, drinking a couple shots worth before returning it. "I don't know about that William, I did just meet you after all, love." She then said, a sexy smile of her own coming out as she obviously was flirting and teasing him. Maybe this would be how she would spend her time in Virginia. After all, he was English! How could she resist!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Spike finally got a reply saying ""No death wish, not a fan of death; that's for sure." He wondered what that meant. He figured not to ask it wasn't his business and if they got to know each other like he hoped they would she would probably tell him. Spike smiled at the girl when she ignored his hand. "Fiesty." he thought. Spike had continued to talk and she answered again when he asked about her name. This girl was another one that was interesting. Maybe Richmond wouldn't be so bad. He had met two interesting british girls so far and one was a friend. This one he hoped would be a lover.
"I'm Bela, nice to meet you." Her eyes glowed as he kissed her hand he had noticed. Spike thought for a second. She sounded English. Ha. She was perfect. She almost reminded him of Drusilla with her accent and fiestiness, but without the insanity. No one could ever be insane like her. He glanced at the girl she was very attractive and Spike knew he would have no problem wanting to get to know her in more ways than one. 'Are you from England? I lived in London most of my life." She said, he guessed he wasn't the only one good at noticing accents. He laughed he would get along with this one just fine. " Yeah I'm from England luv, I've lived there most of my life, then I lived in Sunnydale before it blew up or whatever happened and now I live her in my new crypt.." Spike quickly saved his ass with word play "...crib." he quickly said with a calm smile.
Spiked studied the girl carefully as she took a sip of his whiskey and replied to him "I don't know about that William, I did just meet you after all, love." he laughed a little when she spoke. "You're not sure about what exactly pet? Spending the night with me or drinking your sorrows away working?" He noticed the sexy smile on his face and said "Well mate, you might like the odds if you spend the night but if you really want to know me you'll have to try not to freak out because I will be completely bloody honest with you. But I can't have the "Oh my god" factor here luv you understand?" He realized to get with this girl he was going to have to let the girl know him.

------------------------------------------ Her throat burned a bit from the whiskey but she ignored it. In a way it was kind of nice, it showed her that she was really alive, that it all wasn't just a dream. It was strange to think about the fact that a week ago, she was in the deep pits of hell. Suffering the torment that was inflicted upon her, the mental and physical torture. Now she was in the small town of Richmond, having a stroll while talking to a handsome man. It was all so strange that she couldn't help but still believe that it wasn't true. It couldn't be real, and if it was, it had to have a catch. There had to be something more to it then she'd seen so far, some hidden agenda from someone that was lurking in the distance. Right now wasn't the time to think about it, she would save that for later.
Bela had heard of Sunnydale before, though she didn't have any specific details of what had happened. Something about the first evil and an apocalypse, the slayer had stopped it and made a whole bunch more slayers. She didn't really know nor did she really care about the full story. Her attention peaked when she heard his bad wording, saying crypt instead of crib. Though honestly she didn't think it had been a mistake at all. She hadn't been around people lately but she didn't think he seemed like the kind of person to say 'crib'. "Right..." The thief responded, her eyes watching him carefully and her smile sly. Her smile implied that maybe she knew he hadn't meant to say crib, though she didn't exactly know why.
This Spike fellow was extremely forward, continuing to speak of her spending the night with him. If she hadn't just been brought back from hell, she'd have walked away instantly, probably slapping him in the process. But being that she'd just been brought back she decided to stick around and see where things went, she wanted to feel alive. "Deal. I won't say oh my god if you won't." As she said this she regretted it, she couldn't possibly tell him about her could she? She couldn't tell him who she was or what had happened to her, he'd never understand. The man would probably think she was crazy and call the police, sending her to the loony bin. Right now she would just wait and see what he had to say, see if it was anything close to as crazy as what she had to tell him. As she waited, she took the flask back from him and took a couple more drinks. If she was going to tell him the truth, she was going to need to be much more drunk.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Spike was glad to hear that this girl wouldn't freak out. That was the very last thing he needed. It's not like this girl was from Sunnydale where everyone knew the things that go bump in the night where not just stories. In Sunnydale vampires, demons, and the end of the world was an everyday consideration and something to more look forward to then to look out for. This town of Richmond was different. There wasn't a hellmouth here. People didn't have to worry so much. In fact some people still didn't know that vampires existed yet. Spike had nothing to worry about though. Yeah this girl wasn't from bloody Sunnydale but she seemed to just know that certain things were real, considering she knew that it wasn't a mistake that he said crypt.
Spike sighed and began to speak "I'm a vampire luv. I'm not going to bloody sugar coat it for you. But there's a little twist here you see. Spikey isn't aloud to bite the other puppies anymore. See I'm a vampire with a soul. Yep that's right a soul meaning I feel bad about doing bad things. Doesn't mean I don't still do bad things I just don't kill slayers or people anymore." Spike studied the girl for a minute to see if she thought he was crazy. That was one of those things he didn't need. Spike continued "And yes, go ahead mate bloody laugh at the vampire who's been house trained. Go ahead make jokes." It kind of pissed Spike off to know some one was going to laugh it was just a matter of time.
Spike looked at the Bela and said "Well come on then! What's your story? You have to have one. I can't be the only one that has bloody secrets. Where's the dirty laundry come on. I know there is something about you. You might be a human now but I know there is something about you that isn't just bad things like stealing or killing someone. You knew that me saying crypt wasn't an accident. You know things that other humans don't. So spill tell what you know or who you are or were." Spike studied the girl and waited for an answer she knew as well as he did that he wasn't wrong.

------------------------------------------ Tonight was going quite unexpectedly so far, much different than what she had thought. When she'd left her hotel she thought that she'd go out for a walk and then come home and sleep. She certainly hadn't planned on meeting anyone, she hadn't really been in the mood too. But now she was kind of glad that she'd met someone. For the time being it had managed to take her mind off of everything that had been terrorizing it lately. That being that she'd been brought back from hell, and she didn't know why or by who. Not only that but she'd been brought back with a soul which confused her as well. She'd promised the crossroads demon her soul and he'd taken it from her, so how had who ever who'd brought her back gotten her soul back? It was all so confusing, she was glad she had someone to distract her from all of it.
As he began to tell his story she simply sat back and listened. Well, sat back figuratively as she was currently walking. Again, she stole the flask from him and he was talking and drank some more of it. By now it was getting pretty close to empty and she could feel the alcohol. It was beginning to finally set into her bloodstream and she realized that she may have drank too much too fast. She hadn't drank in so long, she'd forgotten how little it took to get her drunk. The girl only weighed around a hundred and twenty pounds, the small amount was already beginning to take effect.
So he was a vampire? Gosh, hadn't she just hit the jackpot. But then again, shouldn't she have expected him to be a vampire or something another? He was wearing a leather trench coat and he was extremely pale, it should have been self explanatory. After he finished speaking she simply nodded her head as if she wasn't shocked at all, because she honestly wasn't. "Why? It's not really all that funny. A vampire with a soul? It's odd, but not really funny. It actually kind of sucks. For you that is, not for me since your not going to go all fangy on me." As she said this, she finished it off with a shrug showing him that it hadn't been that shocking of news. After all she'd been through in her life, nothing really surprised her anymore.
Beginning to feel a tad bit buzzed, she decided what the hell? Why not tell him. Obviously he was a vampire so it wouldn't be anything that surprising to him either. "Alright, William. Over ten years ago I sold my soul to a demon, who after ten years, came to collect it. I went to hell and just a couple days ago I was ripped out of hell and planted in this little hole of a town." And as she said this, she put his flask in the air as if making a cheers with someone. Taking another sip, she handed it back to him and awaited his response. She really hoped that he wouldn't ask why she sold her soul, because she didn't plan on telling him. That was the one thing that drunk or not, she knew she didn't want to tell.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Spike looked at the girl named Bela who looked deep in thought. He wondered what she felt about it. He wondered if she would think it was nothing exciting or rely nothing major at all. Spike didn't show it but it was important to him. This was his life whether he could go fangy or not. This was nothing simple memories came with it. Memories of how he had to bite his mother to save her from tuberculosis and in the end he had to kill her. Yeah that was in the past but it still effected him. And so what if it wasn't major to her it still, after all this time confused him how he was still a freak. Not quite demon. Nor human. But now with a soul.
Spike was dragged away from hi thoughts which was a good thing at that point. Bela began to speak "Why? It's not really all that funny. A vampire with a soul? It's odd, but not really funny. It actually kind of sucks. For you that is, not for me since your not going to go all fangy on me." Of course that was all she cared about. He couldn't bite her or do anything that made him a vampire so what use was him. "Look luv, Do you wanna spend the night with me or not? Yeah I like you and I wouldn't mind bloody shagging you. But I'm really trying to get to know you so work with me here." It wasn't exactly Bela's comments that aggravated him, it was his own thoughts.
Spike sighed and studied Bela as she said "Alright, William. Over ten years ago I sold my soul to a demon, who after ten years, came to collect it. I went to hell and just a couple days ago I was ripped out of hell and planted in this little hole of a town." Spike felt like an ass feeling like he was the only one who felt like a freak. This girl was too beautiful to feel like a freak. But Spike knew one thing, he didn't have to worry about her thinking he was crazy. "Well at least you are a human and were a demon. I'm not quite anything am I? I'm not a demon or a human I'm a vampire. With a soul to add the cherry to the bloody sundae of my life." Spike became aggravated at himself again.

------------------------------------------ Thoughts of her own family trickled into her mind, plaguing it even. It felt like it was a plague because, well, they weren't good memories. In fact if there had ever been a good memory she couldn't recall it. Sure there may have been good moments. Small moments throughout the day that she'd spent with her mother where she didn't resent her, but nothing special. Most children had tons of memories that came to mind of their past and she couldn't remember a single one. It was sad but she'd been over it for a long time now.
William's tone sounded aggravated though for the life of her, she couldn't figure out why. Was he really upset that she hadn't agreed to spend the night with him? They had just met, it wasn't that strange that she wasn't agreeing to sleep with a complete stranger. Not only stranger, but also vampire. Sure he claimed to have a soul but how could she possibly know that it was true? How could she know that anything he said was true? "You say you have a soul, but how am I supposed to know it's not a ploy for me to let my guard down so you can eat me?" As she said this she couldn't help but laugh. "Eat me. God that's ridiculous, I'm talking to a vampire right now and trying to figure out if I'm going to spend the night with him?" As she said this she couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Bela hoped that it wouldn't offend him, her laughing fit that is. She wasn't laughing at him directly she was laughing at the situation. It was almost midnight, she was drunk, and talking to a vampire whom claimed to have a soul. "I'm not so sure about spending the night with a vampire, I think your going to have to win me over.." She said, a sexy smile across her face yet again. The alcohol was really starting to connect to her and she hoped she wouldn't do anything that she'd regret. Hell at this point, she didn't really care. She had just gotten back on Earth and she wanted to do something fun, let loose. She had just drank the other night and made a mental note to stop drinking so often.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Spike looked at the girl as she accused him of trying to trick her. Was she serious? Could she not tell how serious he was being? At this point it wasn't just about sleeping with her. He was very interested in getting to know this former demon. God he bloody believed her why couldn't she believe him. He didn't think she was crazy. But then again he was a vampire and had seen demons ever since he had been sired 155 years ago. He had no clue how to show her that he had a soul. There wasn't exactly a way to go about something like that this would be a bloody carnival ride.
"Look, there isn't really a way to prove I have a soul. You just need to trust me. Yeah I know that's a bloody riot luv but it might just be what you have to do. I'm not going to bite you. I couldn't even if I wanted to, and seeing as I don't want to because having a soul means I have a consciences and I'd feel really bloody bad about it okay?" This time Spike made sure his tone was less aggravated because he didn't want her thinking he was mad because she hadn't agreed to sleep with him yet. He paused and thought. She had said that she was actually thinking about spending the night with him. Spike pulled out a cigarette and lite it. He took a swig from his whiskey and offered Bela one. "Come on take one. I have a feeling it's going to be a long night."
Bela spoke again and what she said gave Spike all he needed to make his move. "I'm not so sure about spending the night with a vampire, I think your going to have to win me over.." Spike put his whiskey in his duster pocket and set his cigarette on the ledge of the bridge. Before Bela could say anything he grabbed her hand gently and pulled her close. He wrapped one arm around to her lower back and with the other moved her hair from her neck. Spike continued to kiss her neck gently and then kiss her lips. Before she could do anything he looked at her and said "Now luv, don't you think if I wanted to bite you don't you think I would have done it already." His smile was sexy as he released her, kissed her hand, let go and grabbed his cigarette once more.

------------------------------------------He told her how she just needed to trust him and again she started laughing. The very idea of trusting a vampire was completely ridiculous, she didn't care if she was being rude. Bela had never been that polite and didn't care what other people thought about her, which definitely showed. She'd always worn her thoughts and her emotions on her sleeve, saying what ever came to her mind. Besides the exception of her family and her past. Other than that, she pretty much said what ever came to mind and didn't really care whom she hurt or offended.
As he offered her a cigarette she accepted it and took one out of his pack. Why not? Though a part of her told her that since she was given a new life, she should take care of it, right now she didn't care. It was nice to have one every now and then, especially when your drinking. Bela had learned from experience that alcohol went very nicely with cigarettes. Before she could get his lighter from him he was grabbing her hand, pulling him to wards her. She wanted to stop him but the alcohol had made her so mellow that she allowed herself to be pulled into him. It was nerve wracking to have a vampire's teeth so close to one's neck but she allowed it, giving into him finally.
His kisses sent chills down her next, an electrifying feeling almost. It made her feel alive just as the fear of falling off the ledge had. Screw it, why not go home with him? Sure he may be a vampire but did it really matter? She'd gone to hell and back, she could certainly handle herself. Plus she wasn't really thinking all that clearly at the moment thanks to his whiskey. In a way it kind of felt like he was taking advantage of her but for now, she didn't care. She wanted to have fun and let loose a bit. She had just been given a new life, so why not?
As he pulled away she watched him closely, a smile appearing across her face. "How is a girl supposed to say no when you make it so hard?" She said smiling lightly, her eyes glowing as she looked at him. Tonight was shaping up to be quite entertaining, hopefully it wouldn't stop anytime soon. Still holding the cigarette she put it in her mouth, waiting for him to light it for her.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Spike smiled and lit her cigarette. He knew he could get this girl to give in just as Buffy had, except this time it had been easier. But Spike thought, he didn't want this to just be a one night stand he wanted her to be his. She was intoxicating and too hard to let go of. He grabbed her hand and said "Luv, you'll find I make it hard to resist your urges a alot. It's a specialty of mine." He smiled to her and lifted her up and carried her in his arms as he would if she were his bride. By that time he had finished his cigarette and had put it out. He took the cigarette from her mouth and said "Let me take you my motorcycle and to take you home with me." he kissed her agian this time hard and long and then took a drag from the cigarette and put it back in his mouth.
He carried her slowly to his motorcycle as he kissed her neck. The smell she gave off was just as intoxicating as her personality. Spike knew that tonight would be something that he needed. He had been needing for a long time. He really haddn't had any one since Buffy or even since L.A. His luck was starting to change and he was glad it had, especially with Bela. If anything she would be his new mate. It was turning out to be a good night for him. Yeah it had started off with morbid thoughts of bridge jumping men but it quickly turned around when he met this girl. Who knew one bloody girl could make him feel this way.
Spike kept kissing Bela's neck and her lips. He felt this intense burning sensation when they kissed. His body with tingling and on fire, which would usually be a bad sign but not tonight. Tonight he might of just met the girl that would make his life even better. Sure he had met interesting girls like one named Madison he had met in the park once, but Bela was different. He had never wanted a girl as much as he wanted her right now. They arrived at his motorcycle and he set her down so she was standing again. He brought her close again and started to make-out with her while his hand went to her lower back again but this time it was under the shirt. His hand moved up toward her breast as the kiss heated up. His had had just cupped her breast and he had felt it when he stopped himself. "Im sorry luv, I'm going to have to save the rest for when we get some where more private." He smiled and got onto the Harley. He grabbed her had and pulled her on. Spike gave Bela a helmet and said "Put this one and hold on tight we will be there soon."

------------------------------------------ As he lit her cigarette she hit it several times right away. It was the first one she'd smoked since she'd been back and it was actually quite lovely. It was giving her a bit of a buzz and enhancing the alcohol she'd already drank. If she was going to let loose, she might as well go all out. Sure, filling your lungs with tar wasn't exactly most people's idea of a party but it sounded good to Bela at the moment. In a way she was just glad that she now had health problems to worry about. In hell the only thing you had to worry about was who was going to torture you. You knew you were going to get it either way, it was just the fact of who was going to do it to you that time.
She allowed herself to be carried by him, though she thought it was kind of silly. She was dizzy though and didn't particularly want to walk anyway, so she went limp as he picked her up. He began kissing her again and she returned the kisses, not minding his hand under her shirt either. Only moments later she felt the last shot she'd taken finally kick in and it did not feel good. In fact, it was the last thing she would remember all night.
The next morning she woke up in what she could only assume was a mausoleum of some sort. She was in a bed next to Spike, his cold body lightly brushing against her. Her head was killing her and her eyes were very sensitive. Her stomach was a bit queasy as well and she made a mental note not to drink again for awhile. The last time she'd drank she'd made a fool of herself in front of Dean Winchester. Now, she'd slept with a vampire. Since she'd come back she certainly did not have a very good track record with drinking.
Looking around she noticed that her clothing was split up all over the little room. It looked like she'd had fun but honestly she couldn't remember any of it, at least not at the moment. Eventually it would probably come back to her but right now it wasn't important. She knew that she needed to get out of here, she didn't want to deal with the situation she'd put herself in right now. Even though he was a nice guy, or vampire rather, she wasn't looking for anything serious right now. She'd just become human only days ago and wasn't looking for any type of commitment. He might not be either but she definitely didn't want to stick around to find out.
Very carefully she slid out from underneath the covers, looking back to make sure that he was still sleeping. Gathering up her clothes she quietly got dressed. Opening the door to the crypt up, she made sure not to let the light shine on him. She didn't want a relationship but she also didn't want him to burst into flames. As she left she felt kind of bad, but knew it would be better in the end. She was in a bad place personally right now and didn't need to infect anyone else with her problems.
