- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She stood there, her blonde hair flowing in the breeze as she stared out the window, staring down at the street where people bustled to and from, going on with their every day lives. They had no idea that the huge mansion, which was once a private school before it was closed down due to the tuition being too expensive, now housed an army of slayers that were being taught to harness their powers in order to save the world time and time again. They had no idea that there were vampires, demons, and other things right in front of them that could kill them in a second. They had no idea how dark the world really was.
She however did. Having been the slayer since she was 15, Buffy Anne Summers knew exactly how the world worked. She had saved it more times than she wanted to admit and knew her job would never be over. Sure she had help now, with the other slayers being activated in order to keep the forces of darkness at bay. However in reality it was still her job. She was THE slayer, the TRUE slayer. The only one who knew what that was like, even a little bit, was her sister slayer Faith. Even then, she had never been the 'only' slayer as Buffy had been.
The blonde turned away from the window, not wanting to look at the happiness around her anymore. Instead she focused on where she was. She had one of the largest bedrooms in the school they had converted to a ‘Slayer School’. Yes, none of them could think of a better name for it. Next door, another huge building that had once been a hospital, had been converted into The new Watchers Council, being headed by her watcher, Rupert Giles. She was thankful that the buildings were next to each other. They had even had a tunnel constructed underground (it had already been there from hundreds of years ago, they had just had to do a bit of construction on it) so that the two buildings could be accessed from either building. It also helped in case there was an attack, they could escape to one building or the other.
Buffy’s thoughts were broken when her cell phone rang. She looked at the caller I.d. and immediately straightened up. She had a seer working with them in order to let her know when another potential slayer had been found. She answered the phone, not bothering with pleasantries as neither of them ever did. She listened to the name and location and thanked the woman before hanging up.
It was time to head back to the states. Usually she would send someone out to explain to the girl who she was and to give her the choice of staying where she was and having a watcher come and train her, or to come back with them and train here. However she had a feeling, deep in her gut, that she needed to be the one to handle this. She sighed wondering if anyone would want to come with her. However first, she needed to pack a bag.

Andrew was looking down at a pile of paperwork that he had on his desk. If there was anything that he hated about being a watcher it was paperwork. He was reading up on how a few of his slayers were doing. All seemed to be checking out and as he didn't have to teach any of the slayers anything yet so he was bored. A bored Andrew was never really a good thing at all. An assistant ran in with a piece of paper. "I could not find Rupert Giles so the next person on the list was you Andrew." Andrew just nodded his head and took the piece of paper from the girl as she ran out of the room yet again. He stood up not wanting to sit in his chair anymore. Giles was probably out teaching the slayers a vaulable lesson so he was not about to interrupt him. He would call him later to tell him what was going on. The message was marked urgent which could only mean that a new potiental was found. He walked out of his office and over to the Slayer School. Something told him they should have come up with some better name but they were all at a loss for what else to call it.
He took the tunnel built in between the two buildings. In all honesty he didn't like walking underground most of the time. It reminded him too much of the incident in which he killed his best friend. Yes he still felt remorse for what he did. He also knew there was no way he could bring Jonathan back so he just had to go on living for all of them. Living a changed man actually. The demon summoning was only done to help or to have a demon aid them if so need be these days. Of course he could still do things wrong and that was just a part of being human. He stopped his musing as he stepped out of the tunnel and into the Slayer school. He was in a search for one Buffy Summers. He was sure if it had something to do with a new potential she would already know. However she hadn't asked the Watcher's council or anything like that yet. As things always worked they got word usually right after she did.
He finally looked up finding her. "We got an urgent message at the Watchers council. Can I assume that it has to deal with information on a potential?" He looked at her. He didn't have any hopes of feeling the way she ever did about things. He was a reformed villian after all. He knew the world was a mess but she knew things better then any of them. He shook his head and looked at her half expectently as he finally opened the package that had been handed to him reading the name and locations and thankfully the exact address of the potential slayer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow stood there in the mirror trying to make sure she looked good before she was off to magic class, Willow taught magic to potential slayers at the school who wanted to learn, and she helped out Buffy whenever she needed her as well. Willow picked up her jacket off the chair to try it on and see how it looks on her, she always tried to look good at the Slayer school when she was teaching, Not like when she lived in Sunnydale and she wore any crazy thing she wanted to she was more casual now. No I don’t like this jacket she thought to her self, so willow raised her hand and flicked her finger for a little magic help, the closet opened and out came another jacket that she liked. Willow put it on and looked at it for a moment to see if she really wanted to were it or not. Willow then notice the time and knew she was going to be late if she did go now, so she picked up her books and headed out the door in to the hall. Willow made her way in to the hallway rushing to get to class and hoping she wouldn’t run in to Kennedy, Her and Willow weren’t together right now, She needed to take a step away from relationships for a while to figure out who and what she really wanted. Willow just hasn’t feel the same in a relationships since Tara, she missed her more then anything and in killed willow everyday that she is not here. As Willow was on her way to class she saw Buffy and Andrew talking, willow could tell something was up. “Hey guys whats up?” willow said as she walked up with a big smile on her face. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -The blonde slayer methodically packed her suitcase; putting enough clothing in it for at least 2 weeks…she figured if she was there for longer she’d either send for more stuff or buy more. It wasn’t a hard pack job, it never was. She was used to being on the go recently, though she tended to stay close to Rome if at all possible. The United States tended to bring back some not so great memories for her and Rome hadn’t been all that bad since they had been here.
Once she got her toiletries out of her en-suite bathroom she zipped up her duffle bag. She smirked when she looked at it. It was black with ‘SLAYER’ written on it. Everyone who saw it would assume she was simply a huge fan of the band ‘SLAYER’, when in reality it was Xander’s idea of a cleaver joke. At least she’d always know which bag was hers. She pouted for a minute about not being able to bring her stake with her but shrugged, knowing she would be able to find a shop somewhere near the town in Virginia that sold magic stuff such as holy water and such. She’d make a few stakes once she got there but for now she was all packed.
She barely had time to finish putting her shoes on when her door burst open and Andrew walked in. It was strange…Andrew had always been the pain in the ass while they were in Sunnydale, but now she considered him a friend…sort of…at least a very close colleague. “Yeah, I got news about a potential…but I’m going. Not sending anyone else in my place as usual, I’m taking this one. I don’t know why, but I just feel like I’m meant to be there. Something’s up Andrew, something big. I don’t know what, I haven’t had any prophetic dreams or anything, it’s just a feeling that I have, deep down in my gut, and I always trust my feelings. Slayer 101, always trust your instincts.” The blonde told him, smiling when she said the last part. It was strange, to be a part of a group who was actually teaching people something that was useful, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
She headed towards her door, motioning for Andrew to follow her. Once in the hallway she turned around, took the key from around her neck and locked her bedroom door before replacing the key back where it had been around her neck. Everyone always asked why she locked her door, and she had a simple reason for it. No one needed to be in her room without her there. She trusted those in the school, but if someone ever broke into their school, they would not be able to enter her room. It had the strongest steel you could buy (She, Faith, and several others all kicked it together and it didn’t budge) and she wanted her personal items to be safe.
Once the door was locked she turned around and was met with the face of her best friend. “New potential…I’m headed to Virginia.” She rolled her eyes. “What the hell is even in Virginia I don’t know, but that’s where the new potential lives. That’s where I’m headed. Anyone who wants to head out with me needs to be ready to leave by sunrise. I’ll be leaving then once all the slayers are in for the night. I’m having a meeting at 4:30am when they all return from Patrol that way the students as well as the members of the school AND the watchers will know what is going on. So how about it you two, are you staying here or are you going with me?”

Andrew continued to read the information as she stood in front of Buffy's door listening to her lock it. He knew that the Buffy trusted them to not go into her room without her. He also understood why she locked her door as well. It was for the same reasons that Andrew locked his personal quarters door and his office door. There were things inside that no one needed to see. His were rather incriminating journal entries and pictures. Oh how he missed Johnathan. He shook his head quickly to get those thoughts out of his mind as he folded up the information that her had. "Well this information will be of much help." He handed the information over to Buffy. She could look at it and hand it back over to him if she felt like he needed to keep hold of the information that was given to him. He'd have to at some point tell Giles about the whole incident as well though he was sure even Buffy had a plan for all of that.
He really hadn't meant to burst into her room but when something marked urgent came his way he had to be urgent about it as well. He listened to her talk to him. She seemed on the defensive in a sense and that made him snap to it as well. He might have considered her an enemy back in Sunnydale before the last big show down but now she was a close friend of his even if she didn't consider him the same. When she was worried about something he was going to figure out what was going on as well. "Trusting you instincts for some is much easier the it is for other. But I understand what you mean by that." He looked down the hall as he saw Willow walking up to them. He smiled at her and then listed to what Buffy had to say. He laughed as she spoke of Virginia. There wasn't much there but a lot of history. Which come to think of it he might want to look into.
Andrew had a bag packed for such occasions. He might want to throw a few more things into his bag for this trip but he could say he was ready and prepared to go right after her taught some demon classes to the Slayers. He had a class a little later in the day. "Sounds like a good plan Buffy. I'm in I want to see what's so important about Virgina. Or in this case Mystic Falls Virgina. Something tells me it will be an adventure." He looked over at Willow for her answer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow Saw that Andrew was wanting for her to answer him, she didn’t know what to say or do at this time, she had a lot of things that she had been working on for the magic class but she couldn’t let Buffy and Andrew go with out her help. Willow knew she had to help out her best friend on this trip, knowing Buffy she would need her for some kind of magic or spell. Willow then turned to Buffy and said “Yeah I’ll go I will just need to pack my stuff and that shouldn’t take me very long,” Willow knew she would just conjure up some magic to help her pack really fast. Willow thought that it might be fun to get a way from Rome for a bit, it had been a while since she had gone on any real trip and she kind of missed America. Willow really missed Sunnydale even though she knew that it was never going to come back, she missed the Bronze, Buffy’s house even school. Yeah those were the good old days when she would hang with Buffy, Xander and Giles for hours on end. Willow was getting existed the more and more she thought about going on there trip to Virginia and loved the fact they were even bringing back a new potential Slayer. She then turned to Buffy and said “so Buff when are we leaving and what is up with this new potential slayer? How you find out about her?”~~~~~~~~~~~

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She looked at her watch, something she had just recently taken to wearing. She used to hate wearing them, but recently she had taken to wearing this one. It was small, silver, dainty, and was just petite enough to not be a liability in a fight (she had more than one bracelet caught on something and it got her hurt) and just inexpensive enough that she wouldn’t throw a fit if it got lost or broken. Seeing the time she knew she needed to leave to take a decent length patrol in an hour or so if she wanted to be back by the time it was time for the meeting. Most people would be shocked she was leading a meeting at 4am in a school, but it was normal in this school. Sure there were some girls in the school that were still in school and there were tutors here or they hired out tutors to come and help them with their studies…but most of them were either in college or taking some time off in order to learn how to defeat those that needed defeating. However with slaying being a mostly night time activity, they were all used to dealing with strange hours.
Her thoughts were broken by a file being handed to her. She opened it up and realized it was more information on the potential slayer. There was a picture in the file, how they got this she didn’t want to know, but she was young looking. They had all different ages here, and this one was a younger girl. She knew she would fit in at the slayer school, if she wanted to come that was. She heard Andrew comment about following her instincts being easier for her than it was for others and she definitely agreed. She and Faith had long conversations about that…Faith thought it was because she had more formal training, but both Buffy and Giles could attest that it wasn’t the case. Buffy had never been one for ‘formal training’, though Merrick, Giles, and Wesley had all tried to teach her. She went purely on instinct and luckily it made her a better fighter. She tended to be a lot more creative than most warriors because she learned how to be. She had been without a weapon many times before and ended up coming out on top because she knew how to use her surroundings to help her in a fight.
Buffy Anne Summers nodded to Andrew when he stated that he was going to come with her. “I agree, I just have a feeling something strange is going on there. I don’t know why but I do. Go and pack a bag. Do you want to head out on patrol with me? Or are you going to hang here and wait for the meeting?” She asked him. After many months of trying to figure out the best way to train the watchers, Giles and herself had come to a conclusion. Watchers needed to be trained in fighting as well. They wouldn’t get the extensive training that the slayers did, but they would know how to defend themselves. She had seen Wesley in too many predicaments in the short amount of time that he had been in Sunnydale, that she knew the former Watcher’s council had been remiss in teaching their watchers how to fight as well. So in knowing that, Giles and herself had come up with a system. A watcher had to clock so many ‘hours’ of training in order to successfully be given the title of ‘watcher’. Andrew was still a watcher in training because he didn’t have the amount of hours yet needed to be a full fledged watcher. The hours could be clocked either with regular training or they could go out on patrol with one of the seasoned slayers (Usually this meant Faith or herself, though sometimes she would let Vi or Kennedy take a watcher in training out if there were more than one of them around).
She heard Willow state that she wanted to go with her and she grinned. “Good, go pack a bag really quick and meet me at the front door. I’ll explain everything that’s going on while I patrol…unless you want to wait here and I’ll explain everything in the meeting. Either way let me know. I’m all packed so I’m headed on patrol. I can wait for you two or I can head out now…either way I’m good to go.” She informed the two, glad she had these two to go with her to Virginia. She wasn’t looking forward to going back to the states by herself.

Andrew went through the list of things that he would need to take. He was sure that they were all in his bag and there would be no need for him to go off and do anything to get ready to leave save for grabbing it. He would definitely be reading to go after the meeting at 4:30am. Most people would call them crazy for calling meetings so late. Actually most people thought them crazy for doing just about everything so late. It was a normal occurrence not only in the Slayer school but the Watchers Council as well. He was still a watcher in training regardless of the fact that he did have a few slayers that he looked after and he was sent to bring others to the Slayer school. He knew enough to hold his own but he didn't have the hours of patrol under his belt that he needed and he knew all to well that to be called a Watcher he would have to do them. But from traveling around the world and being the information researcher and gather he barely had time for much.
He came out of his musing to hear Willow speak up saying that she would come along with them. That meant things were definitely going to be fun. Of course Willow asked about the new potential slayer and how they found out about her. Andrew knew that Buffy knew about it before he came with a piece of paper stating it. He found it strange that everything seemed so urgent about this potential. It had to mean that things were not well in Mystic Falls Virgina. Exactly what that was her was not sure and the more he thought about it the more he wanted to make sure that he brought his equipment to look things up with him. That wasn't much but one of those things needed to be packed at the last minute anyways.
Andrew gave a nod to Buffy once she stated that she agreed with him about the area. She had the same feelings which meant that anything he thought of she probably already thought of which was fin with him. She asked about going out on Patrol with her and he thought for a moment. "As I'm already packed and I need the hours...I'll go out on patrol with you." He really only need a few more hours in the field before he could be called a full fledged watcher. He of course had to test with Giles but that wouldn't be hard for him these days. It would have been had it been during the last battle in Sunnydale or even the year after. Now however being there for the beginning of the new order of Watcher headed by Giles he was sure he'd do just fine. He knew that he'd be fine with Buffy as his guide. He rather liked being out on patrol though it kept him from thinking of Johnathan have the time. He mentally shook himself and came out of his musing as Buffy began to talk to Willow asking her the same questions and telling her to pack her bags as well. This was going to be an interesting trip and he wondered if the potential would be willing to leave home to come here. --------------------------------------------“Hey Buffy I was just wondering what’s going on with the potential. I mean I would love to get out of this place that is if you will take me?”
20 minutes later…
There was another potential in the United States it had been all anyone had talked about. Mystic falls Virginia, in the United States, it didn’t matter that it was all the way on the other side of the country from Sunnydale, it didn’t matter that he ran from the United States it didn’t matter why either. He was going back and there was nothing he could do to change that fact, period. So as he sat in his room, looking at the last picture he had of Anya, packing his bags and had yet to finish them he couldn’t help but think of what life would have been with her still here, if there was something he could have done.
He needed to stop thinking that way, a lot of people will tell you, hell they had told him that time heals all wounds. He didn’t let how much it affected him, her death. There really was no point, why should he be allowed to mope around when Buffy lost Angel god knows what he’s doing now a day’s not that he wanted or cared to know, and willow lost Tara we all lost people. He felt that if he continued on the way he was he would make it through, staying away from the United States was key to that now he was going back just what he knew he couldn’t deal with. Maybe staying for just a few weeks then come back here that sounded like a better plan.
He stood up and looked around putting the picture of Anya back to where it held its place in his wallet. Turned to his bags mostly finished he just had a few other articles of clothing. When that was finshed he zipped his bags closed. He packed most of his room after begging to come he probably shouldn't just drop it and head home after all of what two weeks no he needed to stay to the end. He was going to take a quick shower then chill on his bed till Buffy came to tell him it was time to go.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow listen as Buffy talked about a big meeting she wanted to have with everyone before they left. And as much as Willow would like to go to the meeting and find out more about with is going on with the potential slayer, she knew there were still something’s she needed to finish up with her class before she could even leave. Willow then turned to Buffy and said “Hey Buffy I’m going to go see if I can round up my class early first there are something’s I need to go over with them before the meeting. I’m sorry Buff but it is important, I will hurry and make it there as soon as I can." Willow then saw Xander making his way up to them in the hall, Willow had been so distracted with everything going on, she had forgotten that they still had not told Xander about what was going on with the Potential slayer. “Buffy here comes Xander! We still need to let him know what is going on, you think he will come with us?” Willow was hoping Xander would come with them, he may not always realized it but he is a great help to the group, Willow love’s Xander is and always will be her and Buffy’s best friend. --------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------- With the meeting coming up he told Buffy he would wait for it as he still had more packing to do. He was already finished with the packing and getting ready and now he was walking through the halls aimlessly still thinking about the trip. He knew Willow wanted him to go and he had told Buffy he would hell even Andrew thought he was coming. Half the time he wished he was by himself and nothing had happened and he was still living in Sunnydale, out of his parents house of course, never knowing about vampires, demons, angels, watchers, Powers That Be, Slayers all of it he wished he had never heard Giles tell Buffy that she was the Slayer and that they needed to fight Vampires and train. Wished he never met Anya and fell in love but of course he never got that kind of luck of staying out the shit that happened. Hell he wished it was still him and Willow and Jesse just chillin out in the afternoons. Unfortunately Fate hated him and decided his life didn’t suck enough. Like always he would put on a brave face and do what he always did. Ignore his inner turmoil and joke around with the gang, beat the crap out of dead things that are bound and determined to continue roaming the earth and eating off the living. Roaming the halls wasn’t something he did a lot and often times he would attract attention from someone but today with the buzz of the potential there was hardly anyone in the hallways so he was ok. He stopped in front of a set of doors, before he opened them he did a quick look around. It wouldn’t do for someone to see him go into the school library without one of the gang with him it’s just weird for him to go into the library willingly. He went to the section he always went to for the research he was doing. Demon revival. So far he hadn’t made it very far there were a lot of books and they all told him the same thing. It was fairly impossible to do even with the strongest of witches not that he would involve Willow he was pretty sure that willow and Buffy would have a problem with his reading choice. It had been a long time since he saw her and he wasn’t sure if the reason he kept looking was because he wanted Anya back or because it was nearly impossible thing and that always made him want to do something about it, no matter what it was. He let out a big sigh when the first book he pulled out was in the Demonic language one he didn’t understand. Putting the book back he turned around and leaned against the wall sliding down to the floor he put his head in his hands. He felt like crying or screaming, even throwing things but he defiantly did not want to open another book and see the same words printed out. For all he knew one of the books written in the demonic language was one of the ones he could use. They all need some weird ass ingredients that he wouldn’t be able to get his hands on. Even if he decided to travel the world he would need ingredients from different dimensions and honestly he wasn’t sure he wanted to go that way it can be extremely difficult to get back and that’s not saying that he would be considered a slave in some of them. Not fun, really not his idea of vacation. With a final sigh he got up and walked to the door it was almost time for him to go to the meeting not exactly his idea of fun either.
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She had the feeling that Andrew would go with her, which was fine. She actually got along with Andrew now that he had gotten a little less annoying in her opinion. She also respected his decision to remain in Sunnydale while everything had been going on with the first. Most people would have gotten up and ran as far away from Sunnydale as they could. Hell, even Anya had tried that at first with the ascension. Granted, she came back in the end, but she still thought about running. Andrew had stuck by her and the others until the end. That had gained him a lot of respect on her part. She also respected that he was willing to go above and beyond the call of duty in order to alleviate someone else’s burden if the occasion called for it. Take for instance, the one time there had been a potential in Los Angeles. Buffy had originally been elected as the one to go and retrieve her, but after seeing the toll just the thought of going to Los Angeles had taken on Buffy, Andrew had jumped in and elected to do it for her. She had never properly thanked him for that.
She would be glad when Andrew became a full fledged watcher. She knew he would make a great one. Not only because he would have the amount of field experience required, but because he would care about his slayer. That was what had always made Giles the best watcher, was because he cared. He didn’t treat her like the machine that the Watcher’s Council had tried to convince her that she was. He didn’t treat her like she was the instrument at the hand of the former Watcher’s Council’s arm. No, he treated her like a person, like a human being, and many times like the daughter he had never had. She knew that Andrew would be the same way. He would allow his slayer to make her own mistakes but at the same time, he would stand behind her and protect her if he had too, just like Giles did for her. She couldn’t wait until he was able to get his own slayer…though she still hadn’t decided who he would be paired up with.
That was another one of the things that Giles and her were working on. She had always wondered why Wesley and her didn’t get along. Granted, she was well aware that she wasn’t really open to the idea of having another Watcher because she wanted Giles, but it was more than that. There was something about the guy that just bugged her. She felt bad about that now that she knew how good of a friend he had become of Angel’s, but it still didn’t change the past. After examining it with Giles many a night, they had both come to the same conclusion. Wesley was too stuffy, to stuck in his ways, while she was more of a glow with the flow person. This brought them to their next step in making sure that slayers and watchers worked together. They always tried to pair up watchers with slayers that fit their personalities. They needed them to take control of certain situations of course, but they also needed to respect each other. In order to do that, they had to have personalities that meshed versus personalities that clashed. It was sometimes hard to pair up two people, but they did their best to make sure that there would always be trust and respect between the watcher/slayer pair.
Her musings were broken by an errant thought. She forgot that she had assigned Andrew to go on patrol with two of the newer slayers. Giles was supposed to go with them. She grabbed her cell phone and saw she had a text message from Giles stating they were leaving in 40 minutes. “Shit, Andrew, sorry. You can’t go with me tonight. Giles needs you to go with him and two of the new slayers. I think he’s taking Amber and Sidney out on patrol tonight and wants you with him. You guys will definitely be back before the meeting.” She told him, her look clearly apologizing for the late notice. She had completely forgotten and was thankful she had remembered at all. She knew Giles would be pissed about it if she had forgotten and Andrew had missed his training session because she had a bad memory.
She turned to Willow and nodded her head once, letting her know that that was fine. She knew that Willow had a class to teach so wouldn’t force her to come on patrol with her. It would probably be good for her to go alone anyway. Between the school, the slayers, the watchers, her friends, and the rest of the group, she was rarely alone these days and had come to appreciate the time she was. It would be good to get out and do a really thorough patrol by herself before going back to the United States and being with the group that was going with her the entire time she was there. It would also be nice to clear her head before heading to the United States in general. She knew once there, she would feel the urge to check in on Angel, and she had to fight it. She was well aware that Giles kept in contact with Wesley so he knew where they were, but at the same time, her and Angel hadn’t spoken since she had sent him back to Los Angeles.
Her thoughts had revolved around her former lover a lot recently, though she wasn’t sure why. The blonde slayer shook her head to clear her thoughts. Now was definitely not the time to go down memory lane. She would have plenty of time to do that on the 13 hour plane ride that they would be getting on in just a matter of hours. “Alright, everyone do what they need to do. I’m headed out on patrol. Be back later.” She told them before walking away, heading towards the front door of the beautiful school they had taken residence in.
Andrew was only half paying attention to what Willow was saying. She was going to come and that was about all that Andrew heard. It didn't take long for another friendly face to jump into the party they were having in the hall at the moment. He gave a smile and a nod to Xander. He couldn't say they were extremely close buddies but they were friends none the less. After all Andrew had tried to make him feel better after Anya's death. Whether it helped in the long run or not was a completely different story. Andrew knew full well that Xander missed Anya terribly. To his surprise however Xander said he'd come back to the states with them. Andrew gave a nod to Xander yet again and looked back at Buffy. There was probably nothing he wouldn't do for the Slayer. Of course Andrew could still screw up here and there but well that was just Andrew for you and now he really was part of the team. He'd once been against them but if he thought about it honestly it had been Warren the whole time that had them doing crazy things and all he wanted Andrew for was to summon demons. Now both he and Johnathan were gone.
The name Johnathan struck a cord in Andrew's heart and mind. He shook it off to give a smile to Willow as she went to go find her class. They all had a few things to do but Andrew would just make mental note of putting one of two things in his bag last minute walking out. There was still Giles that they were bond to find out on patrol. Least that's what he hoped anyways as Giles needed to know things and him answering his cell phone would be a complete surprise to him. He then went down a trip of recent memory lane. He was thinking back on the trip he made to get a potential in Los Angels and the instruction he got from Buffy about it. She was supposed to go but he had seen that she just wasn't ready to be close to Angel again. So he's opted to help her out and actually things had gone off without a hitch. He loved doing it which was why he didn't mind being sent out to get new potentials. As a matter of fact that was why when he got the memo about the potential he'd made up his mind that he was going one way or another. He loved his job and well he couldn't wait to be a full fledged watcher. He pulled out a little black book. Most everything important he put in little black note books. This one however had his hours of field experience in it. He smile noticing he was only some five hours short or something like that and he's get the title or rather he'd be ready to get the title.
Andrew watched Buffy for a moment wondering what she was thinking. He shrugged it off a few minutes later thinking about how he would treat his slayer or slayers once he did get that title he so desired. It was funny that he was getting something he desired and going about it in all the right measures. As part of the Trio things came to them by way of chance and illegality. Here he was doing something none of them ever dreamed they'd be doing. He was a member of the scoobie gang not trying to pull it apart and he was doing things that were legal in their realm of legal. He was helping them kill Demons that he could have very well summoned. He was using his abilities for good and not evil. Funny things to think about when one realized what it took to get him here. He wondered if Johnathan would have become part of the gang like he had. If the two of them would both be getting the title of watcher. A rather somber look came over his but he was snapped out of it by Buffy's voice. She sounded slightly upset. Then she went on to explain that Giles needed him. Wait did Giles actually text message someone. Okay he didn't answer the phone no but he did text. Andrew nodded his head with a slight look of disappointment but training sessions were just as good as clocking field time.
"Not to worry Buffy." He looked down at his own cell phone. He sent a quick text to Giles telling him that he's be there in a quick flash...well sort of. "Alright I'll go meet up with them. Oh and Buffy be careful." Andrew nodded his head as Buffy said her goodbyes and then her ran off literally about as quick as a flash and went to pack the last two things he needed in his bag and headed off to find Giles and to do that training session. It was going to be an interesting night and early morning. They were headed back to the stares. It was California but it was still close enough for one to taste it. Least in Andrew's mind. He found Giles who looked presently surprised that he was indeed on time and if not early to the meeting. It wasn't exactly what Andrew was known for.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow knew what the plan was and knew it was time to get with it, she still had needed to meet with her class so she could hurry up with them and read up on so magic before they left. She knew that she would be needing some tricks up there sleeve before they left on there trip. She then turned to Andrew and Xander to say “all right guys I will see you all later, take care.” Willow then turned to her best friend to patted her on the shoulder and tell her “Ok buff I will see you later, are you sure you are going to be ok patrolling by your self ?” She could tell by the way Buffy looked at her she would be fine, suddenly Willow felt better. Willow didn’t know why she was worrying this was the same girl who took on the First, not mention all the other times she saved Sunnydale. The Master, The mayor, Glory, hell even the Love of her life Angel. So willow knew Buffy would be fine and to just let her do what she does best. Willow had parted ways with the Scooby’s to go do what she had to do before they left, she was trying to get to her class as fast as she could as she walked down the school hall ways. Willow was excited about there trip and couldn’t wait! Even though she was going to miss her students, and this palace had become her home since Sunnydale. Willow had made to her classroom I was ready to go a get ready to teach her students and was ready for anything that was about to come her way.
