- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She sighed as she slipped her stake into the sleeve of her Nike jacket. Usually she didn’t bother changing before patrol, opting to go in whatever she was wearing versus bothering to change and have to do twice as much laundry later. However today had been a job interview at the high school for the counselor position and she had then afterward ran errands all day, which meant by the time it was actually time for patrol, she was still in a suit, which was something she was definitely not going to patrol in. She looked down at herself and shrugged, noting her outfit. A black Nike jacket, paired with a pair of black and gray push up sweat pants and a pair of Nike Shox combined made for a comfortable and easily replaced patrol outfit. Paired together with her signature cross that she had received at the age of 16 from the love of her existence and her trusty stake, she was good to go. She yelled out her goodbyes at the house full of people that she lived with before heading out the door. Once again she wished that Angel was with her. Patrolling had been a lot more entertaining when he was around.
Her thoughts of Angel took her thoughts to where they had been earlier. As she walked, her mind went back to when he had not been her lover, but her worst nightmare. She knew him, she knew this man more than she cared to admit. Her and Angel had been happy, happier than most couples ever were in years of marriage, and yet they found it after only months of dating. Unfortunately things didn't stay that way. On her 17th birthday they ended up taking their relationship to the next level. It didn't end with him making breakfast the next morning and sending her off to school, No....it ended with the demon Angelus being freed and Angel having lost his soul.
Angelus teamed up with Spike and Drusilla to kill her. 'To kill this girl...you have to love her'. Angelus had all of Angel's memories and knew how to take her down, by breaking down her spirit. He stalked her for months, killed Jenny Calendar (her watchers true love) and it all came to a head when he decided awaken a demon named Acathla and end the world. Kendra, the slayer that had been called after she had been killed by the master, came to help, and was killed at the hand of Drusilla in order to kidnap Giles. Spike decided he had had enough of Angelus and decided to come to her aide and together they overcame Angelus. What Buffy didn’t know was that Willow was attempting to re-curse Angelus in order to restore Angel's soul. Spike left with Drusilla and Buffy and Angelus were battling it out. Angelus had pulled the sword out of Acathla but neither one are paying attention. Buffy had Angelus right in front of Acathla when an orange light went through his eyes and he looked up. Buffy quickly realized it was Angel but unfortunately she also saw behind him that the portal has opened and Angel's blood was the only way to close it. So she told him she loved him, then she kissed him, and then she killed him, sending the only man she had ever loved to the depths of hell.
It was that day, years ago, that had been the last time she had seen Angelus. She knew from conversations between Wesley and Willow that she herself would be the only one who could give Angel enough ‘happiness’ to break the curse which made her feel better knowing that the monster that wore her lover’s face would never again be free. She and Angel had learned the hard way what the consequences of their actions were. They were no longer the naïve couple that thought that love would always prevail. They knew better. They knew that love didn’t add up to forever, and while neither of them liked it, they had to accept it.
She pulled herself away from her depressing thoughts, knowing it did her no good to rehash the past. Angel and her weren’t together, they never would be again. She knew that, and she hated it. She wished he could get over the past and realize the future that they had in front of them. They knew the consequences and how far they could go…yet the love of her existence didn’t trust her enough to deal with the little he could offer, so instead of giving her the little he could offer, which meant the world to her, he opted to give her nothing.
She sighed again, pulling her jacket closer to her as she entered the cemetery. She felt her senses and noted that there were vampires around, but not in her immediate area. Her mind tended to wander when things were quiet like they were. Tonight was no different. Random thoughts popped up into her mind. The past, the present and the future. She thought about the things and the people that she had lost….and those she had gained.
In the time since she had been called as slayers she had lost a watcher (Merrick), her parents had gotten divorced for fighting so much over her issues, gotten expelled from school, had to move to a new town, fallen in love, her lover turned evil, she had to kill her lover, got kicked out of her home, got expelled again, ran away, gotten her lover back only to know that they couldn’t truly be together, her lover had left, she had to blow up the school, had died saving a sister that wasn’t supposed to exist, had been ripped out of heaven, had to watch people around her die and had to watch as a town that had come to mean a lot to her was blown up.
However since becoming the slayer, she had also gained the best friends she could ever ask for, a father figure who meant more to her than her own biological father, a sister that she adored, and the love of her life who meant more to her than anyone in the entire world. It was a Catch-22 if she ever knew one.
She looked at her watch and realized exactly what time it was. Dawn was supposed to meet her at the cemetery over two hours ago to patrol with her and she hadn’t. She checked her phone and noted there were no missed calls or text messages. She sighed, a feeling deep in her gut told her this wasn’t some random forgetful phase that Dawn had gone through.
Her sister was in trouble…again. She sighed again and took off running towards the rental house, running through the door only moments later, the door banging against the wall. “Will? Tara? Anyone seen Dawn?” She yelled out, noting that the other rental car wasn’t in the driveway meaning that Dawn had it somewhere. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow was laying in bed with Tara watching a movie, they were spending a nice quit evening together while Buffy and Dawn were out patrolling. Buffy had been on her way there and was going to meet up with Dawn, which made Willow so happy she hadn’t really had a night yet were it was just her and Tara alone with no one home. It always seemed like the gang was always busy doing something since they got there, or Dawn was always with Tara. Which Willow wasn’t upset about, she understood how much Dawn had missed Tara as well. Poor Dawn had been threw a lot in losing Tara, she stayed with her for hours even after she died. Dawn took it really hard when she lost her Willow couldn’t imagine how Dawn must have been when they found her, Willow was kind of Busy at the time in taking over the whole world. Which she wishes she could take back everyday of her life, hopefully Tara will never see or know that side of Willow. It was is something to this day she is still trying to forget, it was not a very good time in Willow’s life at all. Which Willow could forget about now, she had love of her life back and lying right next to her. Those days of Willow missing her are now over, and she was going to make sure it stayed that way. Willow will make sure to keep her safer this time. Willow and Tara laid there and watched there movie, she was so happy to have her back that Willow found herself just laying there watching her every move while they watched T.V. Willow couldn’t help it she just missed every little thing about Tara, Willow moved over closer to Tara on the bed so she could hold her. Willow then looked deep in to Tara’s eye’s and said “ I love you so much baby, I’m so happy you are here with me again.” Willow then leaned in to give Tara a sweet kiss on her lips, while she ran her fingers threw her hair. Willow then got up off the bed to head down stairs and get a snack, “ I will be back baby! I’m going to go get us some popcorn and soda’s, how does that sound?” Willow then was making her way down the stairs to get the snacks and soda’s, when all the sudden willow heard Buffy busting threw the door. She was yelling out for Willow and Tara saying something about Dawn. Willow’s heart stopped when she heard that, “ Oh no Dawn, I hope she is ok” Willow said running down to Buffy as fast as she could. When Willow made it to Buffy she looked sacred and in shock, “Buffy calm down, what is going on? And what about Dawn is she ok?” Willow said to Buffy scared. Willow looked around wanting to know were Dawn was anyway, which made Willow even more scared about what Buffy might tell her. --------------------------------- --------------------------------- Tara hadn’t felt so relaxed in a very long time. It was just Willow, herself, and a movie, how she thought it should always be like. The house had been quiet for some time, with everyone off doing things and Tara couldn’t help but thinking about how nice it was. It wasn’t like she didn’t appreciate having Buffy and Dawn around, but being alone with Willow reminded her of how it was before, without most of the danger and such, like how it was when they first met in school. Still, she wouldn’t trade anything for having everyone back in her life.
Tara curled up against Willow when she moved closer and rested her head on her chest comfortably. She could hear her heartbeat, one of Tara’s favorite sounds. When she had feared that Willow had been killed, this was one of the things she feared never hearing again the most. She had been nervous that she would slowly start to forget how it sounded as well as the sound of Willow’s voice. It felt the same as how she felt after her mother died, but Tara soon realized that she could never forget anything about Willow. Sometimes that had made it even harder.
The only thing that was difficult for Tara at this very moment was trying to even remember to attempt to pay attention to the movie they were watching. She wasn’t entirely sure if she had even absorbed any of the basic plotline of the show. Tara was way too preoccupied with absorbing every little moment, word, smell, touch, or anything about Willow. “I love you too.” She murmured quietly, letting her lips kiss Willow back gently. “I wouldn’t be anywhere else.” She smiled at her and made eye contact warmly.
Tara sat up quickly and kissed her cheek again, smiling. “That sounds great Wills.” She sat back down and made sure she paused the movie so Willow wouldn’t miss any of it. She leaned back against the pillows and grabbed one of the spell books off of the side table and started skimming through it while she waited for Willow. There were a couple of spells that she wanted to try to work out with Willow, but she was still hesitant to do any serious and powerful magic with her again. She didn’t want anything to happen to Willow.
As she was looking at a particularly complex spell she heard the clamor downstairs vaguely. It sounded as if Buffy had gotten back and wasn’t happy about something. Tara couldn’t quite figure out what was being said so she closed the book and got off the bed, sliding towards the stairs as she heard Willow ask Buffy about Dawn. Dawn? Oh Goddess. She rushed down the stairs quickly and stood by Willow with a look of extreme concern on her face. Scanning the room, she quickly surmised that Dawn hadn’t come back from patrol with Buffy. Something inside of her had hoped it had just been a case of the two sisters getting in an argument, but it was clear to Tara that this was not the case. She stood and waited by Willow’s side, waiting to hear Buffy’s story. --------------------------------- Word Count: 537 Tags Buffy, Willow, Dean, Sam, AJ Notes Woot. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Her mind raced as she thought of the last time she felt this way. She wasn’t sure why but she knew something was wrong. Something, someone, had hurt her sister. She could easily remember the months that she had felt this panic over her sister, her mother, her friends, everything. The memories washed over her as she tried to catch her breath to explain to her friends what was going on.
The downhill spiral started up again as it always does. Glory found out that the key was actually a human and went for the one that had been in her life the least amount of time (to her knowledge). She took away Tara’s memories…basically turning her into a crazy person. Buffy then realized she couldn’t fight glory. She grabbed the group and ran away with all of them. Giles got injured, Ben showed up, which meant Glory showed up. Glory got a hold of Dawn and Buffy basically bad a meltdown of substantial proportions. Willow had to do a spell in order to get Buffy to come out of her trance and once there she realized how to fight Glory.
Unfortunately someone else was there before they could. Buffy beat Glory to a bloody pulp and would have killed her but then he shifted into Ben and she couldn’t hurt an innocent. She warned him that if she ever comes near hers again that she would…well…she didn’t say but it would have been bad. Giles went to Ben after Buffy had left and informed him that Buffy is truly a hero because she wouldn’t take a innocent’s life. So Giles did it for her, killing Ben and effectively killing Glory. Buffy ran up the stairs to the tower that the crazy people (including Tara who had gotten her memories back from a spell that Willow had done) and unfortunately saw Doc, a demon, had already begun the ritual. Spike had originally tried to stop him but had been pushed off the tower. Buffy then pushed Doc off the tower but it was too late and the ritual had been started. Death is your gift. Buffy realized what she had to do and looked at Dawn, whispering parting words to her before jumping in the portal and closing it, thus ending her own life. Dawn listen to me. Listen. I love you, I will always love you. But this is the work I have to do. Tell Giles, Tell Giles I figured it out and I’m okay. Give my love to my friends. You have to take care of them now. You have to take care of each other. Dawn the hardest thing in this world is to live in it. Be brave. Live. For me.
She shook her head, clearing her thoughts. Now was definitely not the time to get into this topic of thought. She had to keep her head on straight in order to find her sister. “She was supposed to meet me to patrol earlier as she wanted to get in some more field time. She never did. I tried calling, I tried texting, no message back and her phone is going straight to voicemail. I know she’s an adult and she doesn’t need to check in with me but something is wrong, I can feel it.” She told them, pacing up and down the length of the room, trying to keep herself calm.
“I’m going to call the police. I don’t want too but I don’t really feel like I have a choice in this case.” She told them before pulling out her cell phone and dialing the number. She was quickly informed that since 24 hours had not passed she could not file a missing persons report which led her cell phone to being turned off rather forcefully (Luckily she hadn’t broken it as she had several others) and she glared at it for a moment. “They won’t do anything until 24 hours has passed…and even then they said because she’s legally an adult that most likely she simply ran off. You know her, she wouldn’t just run off!” She stated, though her voice was raising higher and higher.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow didn’t know what to think or do, she was just as much in shock as Buffy was. Willow was so sacred for Dawn, all that was going threw Willow head right now was, is she ok? was she hurt? is she lost? Willow knew with the gang living in a new town this was not easy, they still were trying to learn the area as is. So finding Dawn was not going to be a bit of a challenge for them, hell Willow didn’t even know were to start. But she was sure of one thing something had to be wrong, Dawn wasn’t one in a new town just to run off or not show up. Willow wasn’t going to let Buffy see that though, she could tell that her best friend was freaking out. Right now Willow’s main concern was to get Buffy calm down. Willow watched as Buffy was pacing back and forth, poor Buffy Willow could tell she was sacred out of her mind, she just didn’t know what to do to calm her down. Right now Willow wanted to do the Same as Buffy , her mind was pacing as well back and forth deep down inside. “Buffy the first thing you need to do is calm down and take a seat, I’m sure Dawn is ok. Maybe she is out with a guy or something that she just met, you know how she does. I’m sure she is ok, but don’t worry Buffy I wont stop till I help you find her.” Willow said patting Buffy shoulder trying to stay clam. Willow knew that she was probably wrong, but she couldn’t let Buffy see that just yet. She had to try and make sure her best friend didn’t die of a heart attack, that was the last thing they needed. Willow then saw Buffy pick up the phone to try the police, Willow didn’t know what the they could do to help. With the gang’s luck if Dawn was taken, then it was probably something supernatural that did it. Like the time she was kidnapped by Sweet, or when Glory took her which was not fun at all. They didn’t think they were ever going to get Dawn back. Buffy then was telling Willow how she wouldn’t just run off, “I know Buffy but don’t worry we will find her, I promises you that Buff! You know Buffy me and Tara could try a spell to find her if you want? I don’t know if it will work but it is worth a shot.” Willow said before turning to Tara. Willow really didn’t want it to come to having to do magic, she knew how Tara felt about using it all the time. Willow then asked Tara “What you think baby? You think Dawn is ok? --------------------------------- --------------------------------- Tara fidgeted slightly next to Willow. The one of the times that Dawn went missing while Tara was alive led to her having her brain sucked by Glory. Her hand was broken and she had turned into an incoherent puppet of Glory. It wasn’t easy for her to remember what had particularly happened while she was in that state, but she did remember the pain. Tara prayed in her mind that it wasn’t someone like Glory who had taken Dawn this time. She didn’t want any of them to be in that kind of danger again, especially Willow and Dawn because she knew that Buffy could handle herself.
Sliding her fingers between Willow’s, she found some level of comfort in her touch. It was clear that Buffy was having a hard time remaining calm, but she didn’t want to flood the poor girl with much more; Willow covered just about all that could be said at that moment. They were all scared for Dawn, but she couldn’t even imagine what Buffy was going through at that very moment. Tara tried to look optimistic, but it was very difficult. They really could only hope that Dawn had gotten distracted by some particularly attractive looking young man as Willow had pointed out.
Tara saw Willow look to her for confirmation when she mentioned using magic to look for Dawn. To Tara, this was a perfectly acceptable time to use a spell or two in order to find her, and she nodded. “I think she’s going to be just fine Buffy. We’ll find here and W-we can definitely do that, use a spell to see if we can find her; it won’t be that difficult I think. And we can go and look for her too if you want Buffy. It might be better if we go together. Safer, you know?” Tara added to the possibilities that they had at the moment. She was willing to help in any way she could. --------------------------------- Word Count: 330 Tags Buffy, Willow, Dean, Sam, AJ Notes =)
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. She was the slayer damnit! She needed to keep herself together. She wasn’t sure why she was so protective of her younger sister since she knew that Dawn could take care of herself as much as one could expect from a normal human. However ever since she had come into her life she had been especially protective of her. There were only one person that Buffy loved more than her sister and everyone knew that that was Angel. It wasn’t even so much she loved Angel more, it was just….different. She was more protective of Dawn but she knew that she couldn’t live in a world where Angel didn’t exist in it.
She sighed and closed her eyes, taking another deep breath. She needed to center herself. Pull away from the emotion of fear…and let herself be the slayer. She needed to look at this logically…not as a sister…but as the slayer. What would she do in this situation if it wasn’t her sister but another slayer or a potential in danger? She would handle the situation calmly, rationally, and quickly. She knew that every second she sat here freaking out that was another second of lost time that she was allowing someone to hurt a person that she was sworn to protect…and that in itself was not okay.
One more deep breath she took as she opened her eyes, her eyes having cleared up and in them shown determination. She looked at Tara and Willow…the two most powerful witches that she knew. “Okay, I’m going to text message AJ and see if him and Chase can possibly help out with the search. If you two can do a locator spell that’d be great.” She told them before remembering a key ingredient in a locator spell. She held up a finger signaling one moment and ran upstairs towards Dawn’s room.
Once inside she went to her sister’s jewlry box, rifling through it until she found a pair of earrings that belonged to her younger sister. In a locator spell she knew that you needed something that belonged to the person, so she raced downstairs and handed them to Willow. “I know you needed something of hers, so there ya go. Just be careful with them…mom gave them to her. She loves them.” She told her before shooting off a text message to AJ simply telling him that her sister was missing and she could use his help in finding her.
She made a mental note of the time, making sure that if she hadn’t heard from Dawn in 24 hours from 2 ½ hours prior that she’d go and fill out a missing persons report at the police station. She wasn’t stupid, she knew that most likely whoever had taken her sister was supernatural in origin but she’d rather be too cautious than not cautious enough. This also protected their cover in case someone saw them out tonight…they could say they contacted the police and they wouldn’t do anything so this way they wouldn’t look as suspicious.
She was nothing if not careful and concise when it came to those she loved.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow held Tara’s hand tightly trying to stay clam, she was so worried for Dawn. She just had to be out there somewhere, this town wasn’t that big. A spell does sound like a good idea though, and Tara did seem ok with it so maybe it would be a good idea. Willow was just so scared and stressed out for Dawn she hoped she could wing it. “Ok Tara if it is ok with you yeah I would like to try this spell, at this point I want to try anything. I hope It works and we find her. Ok let me go and get my spell book.” Willow said running up the stairs. When she made up to her room she ran over to the book case, Willow started rummaging threw the books trying to find what she needed. “I GOT IT!” she screamed out grabbing the book. Willow made it back down the stairs with the gang, holding the book she needed in her hand, “Ok guys this book is what has the spell, it should work.” Willow looked at Buffy, she seemed like she was staring to some what calm down. But Willow wasn’t dumb, she knew that was that Deep down inside Buffy was trying to be the brave slayer as always. Buffy had said something about texting A,J, for some help. “Yeah Buffy that might be a good Idea, see what they can do to help us. Me and Tara will start the spell that see what we can do.” said Willow. Before she could turn to go do the spell, Buffy handed something to Willow. It was Dawn favorite earrings, Willow took the earrings from Buffy and said. “Thanks Buffy these will help, I promises I will be very careful with them.” Willow headed in the living area of the house, they would need some room for this one. Willow and Tara started to set up the 4 blue candles that they would need, this was nothing for Willow she had done this spell lots of times. She just grabbed her book because with Tara around she didn’t want to seem cocky. Willow got a goblet filled with water ready along with the jasmine incenses, and put the earring in the water. “Ok Tara this should work, are you ready baby?” Willow then called out what needed to be said for the spell, “ Let lympha imus location of aurora !” She said that three times waiting to see what would happen. Then Willow felt a strong force stopping her from seeing Dawn, Willow didn’t know what it was. All she knew was she needed to stop it was starting to hurt her. “I don’t know why baby I have to stop, it hurting me!” Willow said getting up to tell Buffy. Willow ran to Buffy to tell her what was going on, “Buffy I don’t know why but the spell is not working! Something it blocking me from reaching Dawn, what the heck is going here anyway.” Willow said more lost then ever. Now Willow was sacred, she didn’t know why the spell wasn’t working. This didn’t happen to Willow that often. Word Count- 530 Tagged- For now just Buffy,Tara and Willow. then it will be Buffy Willow, Tara, Dean, Sam, and AJ. --------------------------------- --------------------------------- Tara felt like she was being utterly useless as the other girls started running around and taking action. She wasn’t strong like Buffy, so she couldn’t help out like that and she could only help Willow, so she stood nervously waiting while they started gathering the things that they might have needed. Biting her lip anxiously, she came to the realization that she couldn’t do very much even if she tried. Tara hadn’t been here long and didn’t know much about the area or the people in it. Anyways, she would do what she could to help. She wanted Dawn back safe and sound; she had always felt like a little sister to Tara.
She nodded to Buffy when she started talking about texting AJ to get more help. They could use all of the help that they could get if this was something supernatural. Tara grimly thought for a moment, Too bad Willow’s psycho ex-girlfriend isn’t actually here to help. She sighed at the thought, mostly because having another slayer around would be extremely helpful, even if she did make things really awkward. Tara would do just about anything to make sure that Dawn was safe, even if it meant Kennedy was in the mix again.
Tara nodded as Willow took the earrings from Buffy. She followed Willow upstairs after she had gotten the spell book and started helping her set up candles. It really was a simple spell, so Tara wasn’t nervous about any strong power that they were invoking or anything like that. When they had finished setting everything up, Tara stood alongside Willow, clasping her hand tightly as Willow spoke the incantation from memory.
It was quite obvious to Tara that something was up when Willow broke her own concentration and Willow’s aura seemed a mixture of frustration and concern. Tara’s put her hand on Willow’s cheek, wanting to make sure she was okay. Nothing was ever going to happen to Willow if she had anything to say about it. “Are you okay Willow?” She asked, her voice full of concern. Tara followed Willow back downstairs to meet with Buffy, disappointed in their inability to complete the spell. She couldn’t figure out what could be stopping Willow from seeing Dawn. “Something’s not right… I don’t think Dawn is just off on her own.” Tara said quietly, trying not to sound so grim. She knew saying it didn’t help, but she didn’t know what to say.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She knew something wasn’t right. She could feel it in her bones. She was the slayer, she knew these things. She could always feel sometime deep inside when there was something coming. She didn’t always listen to it when she was younger and not everyone always believed her about it because she hadn’t always listened to her slayer senses, but as she got older she had started too and that was the feeling she was feeling at that precise moment. It was a strange feeling because it was like the ones she had had before, but at the same time it wasn’t. She could feel it was something big, but it was almost at the back of her brain, like it was coming but it wasn’t ready to make its move yet. Then there was the thing that was closer…like it was here and just waiting until she found it. It was personal, not a huge big bad, but not a usual run of the mill one either. She couldn’t decipher it…but it was definitely there.
Her mind raced as she tried to think of where her sister could be. She really had no idea and that was frustrating her as it wasn’t like her to run off like this. Maybe when she had been younger and things got tough this is what she did, but not since everything with Glory and her dying and the first. Dawn had grown up, not only in the physical sense, but in the emotional and mental one as well. She had learned that running away from your problems don’t work, and the problems you ran away from will always be chasing behind you and will eventually one day catch up with you. She had learned this over the years the hard way and that was the reason that the blonde slayer knew that if she was gone…it wasn’t of her own want. She wasn’t one to run away anymore.
She had been forced.
Her blood ran cold as she thought of this and she again looked around, trying to find something, anything, to help her find her younger sister. She watched from the stairs as her best friend and her best friend’s girlfriend got together the ingredients for the spell and started to work it. It was clear by the look on Willow’s face that it wasn’t working and that made her even more worried than she had been. Willow’s magic had very rarely failed in the last several years. She had became much too powerful at one point but even then, she had dead accuracy. She knew that if her magic wasn’t working it was because something was blocking it…and only something of extreme power could be blocking a wicca’s power of that magnitude.
“This isn’t good.” She stated, though she knew everyone else could feel the same way as she did. She couldn’t help but state the obvious. She glared at her phone again, hating the police for not knowing what was going on in this town. No, scratch that, she hated the police because they did know what was going on in this town and still they refused to help. “I sent a message to AJ and I also called the police station and left a message on one of the detectives lines pretending that Dawn has been gone more than 24 hours…hopefully someone will hear it and get back to us. Because other than that I don’t know what to do other than go randomly search the streets for her. “ She stated, hating how helpless she was feeling.
She wasn’t helpless…she had never been helpless…and she never would allow her sister to be hurt because of something that she could not control. She was the slayer and she would find a way.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow was so week from trying to do that spell, it took a lot out of her. Her head was killing her and her body was all most felt like it was shaking. Willow felt like her life force had been knock out of her, she still wished she knew what the hell it was. All she knew whatever it was it wasn’t good, if it was able to make Willow feel this way. And it wasn’t easy to make her feel weak these days. Willow then wondered was there a witch at work here? No it almost seemed way to powerful for all that, are maybe it was some kind of a god? Great just what they needed another Glory. Willow then wondered with everyone coming back maybe she was back too? There was no way Buffy did a pretty good job in knocking her on her ass, at least that is what Giles told them. Buffy then told the gang that she had text A.J. and called the police department. Which was good she guessed, A.J. might be able to get them so info, but Willow didn’t know what the Police department was going to do. Wherever Dawn was it was so strong that it could have killed Willow, so how was the police going to do anything. But Willow was going to let Buffy know that, she was already upset as is. What could it hurt calling them anyway at this point they were all desperate. “ok Buffy that sound good maybe A.J. will know something that might help us, or maybe the police will find her.” Said Willow. Willow was still pretty weak and was not feeling herself, whatever it was really did a number on Willow. She was not feeling well at all in the lest. SO Willow walked over to Tara and hugged her, “hold me baby I’m not feeling well at all, my head feels like it is going to break in half. God I hope I feel better baby I need to be here to help Buffy.” Willow said with a weak tone in her voice. She held on to Tara tight in hopes that it might make he feel better, which having her baby there with her usually did help. --------------------------------- --------------------------------- Tara had no doubt that Buffy would find Dawn. They had one of those sisterly bonds that some sort of supernatural being couldn’t really break. She just prayed that Dawn was okay when Buffy found her. They had some sort of a battle plan now for looking for Dawn, so Tara felt a little less out of control. She hated never having a plan and just going along and winging it. Thank the goddess none of the gang was that kind of a person really. That’s how people get seriously hurt, when they run into things without thinking it through entirely.
At the moment, Tara’s biggest concern was Willow. Something had seemingly drained her of her energy greatly while she was doing the spell to find Dawn. It was so unusual, Tara had to assume that they were up against some extremely powerful witch of some kind. It was unnerving, mainly because the spell itself was so simple and it would take great might to be able to drain Willow like this. Tara didn’t want to lose her again because of some powerful person who had taken Dawn, especially since she had just gotten her back. It was too soon, and Tara wasn’t about to let anything happen to Willow. Or Dawn. They were her family. Her only family.
Tara started feeling particularly frantic when Willow came over and hugged her, leaning more strongly than usual. Tara had not problem supporting her, but her mind was racing wildly to think of some way to get Willow’s strength back. This kind of weakness left a witch susceptible to an attack from an outside party. “It’s okay love.” She said nervously as she caught Willow in her arms. “We should sit down. Soon.” Tara looked at her nervously for any sign that she might faint or be sick. It was killing her to see Willow like this. It was horrible to see her suffer.
Tara gently kissed Willow on the forehead as she held onto her. Everything seemed so all over the place that it was difficult for Tara to think of any reasonable solution to any of the problems. She normally prided herself on being level-headed in crisis, but she was too concerned for Willow to think very clearly. It kind of dawned on her that she might be able to share her strength with Willow. “Will?” She said softly in her ear. “Can you take something from me to strengthen yourself? We need you on your A game here. You much more of a help to Buffy than I am.” She pressed her lips against Willow’s cheek in silent confirmation that she was okay with this plan. “There should be some way to do that.” She bit her lip and waited to see what Willow said. --------------------------------- Word Count: 471 Tags Buffy, Willow, Dean, Sam, AJ Notes Sorry this took so long. - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean was sitting in his Impala with Sam in the passenger seat, they had just gotten done get some Burgers and fries. Dean was pretty much inhaling his burger he couldn’t help it he was starving, Dean had also been stressed out. But It didn’t realty matter with Dean what the case was though, he was always hungry. Dean was finishing off his burger along with his fries as he washed it down with a cold soft drink, “Man I wish I had a beer with this, Damn no alcohol in car rule sucks ass. Man I hate cops.” Said Dean. Dean looked over at Sam knowing he sounded like a idiot, “What!” Dean said laughing a bit. After Dean was done with his food he threw a way the trash and pulled out his desert, it was Dean favorite a nice piece of pie.
Dean was just getting ready to take a nice big bite of his pie, when he got a call. Dean looked at his phone and it was bobby, he must have been back in town and done hunting with Rufus. Dean opened his call phone to answer it, “Hey Bobby what is up? It has been awhile” Bobby had stared to tell Dean about a call that he got on a missing girl case, He wanted Sam and Dean to check it out and fast. “Yeah Bobby I think we can look into it, just give me the address.” After Bobby gave Dean the info he hung up the phone, “Man I always get interrupted when I’m eating pie!” Dean said putting his pie to the side for later, Dean started up his Impala taking off to his case. It was a good thing Sam and Dean were still had there suits from the last case, Which ended up being nothing anyway kind a bummer for them. But they could all change now with this call.
Dean had arrived outside of the boarding house, “ Oh my god these people must be loading Sam, are you looking at this place man. Hell who knows we might even get a big reward, what you think Sam?” Dean said with a big smile. Dean always got happy when it came to the sound of money, but don’t get Dean wrong it didn’t stop him from helping people in need. Dean made sure he had his gun in his jacket before getting out of the Impala. Before Dean started making his way to the house he asked Sam, “ok Sammy you ready for this Case man? You going to be able to go in there with a clear head and not be an ass to this people. they are missing there kid after all?”
---------------------------- ---------------------------- Sam sat in the passenger side eating his meal, quickly but in a better manner than his brother. They always needed to be quick about everything they did because they were always working. It was there job and they were good at it. With a slight huff he crumpled up his wrapper and tossed it in the paper bag it came in. He was full and quit happy about it. It had been a while since he last ate, lately he just hasn't been very hungry which was odd even for Sam. He let out a slight burp when Bobby called. Looking over at Dean with a cocked eyebrow he waited for them to finish their conversation before he asked what was going on. Knowing them the conversation was going to be short and quick like it usually was. Bobby always got to the point, it was something he was good at.
After the call Dean informed him of a missing person that might be supernatural and that they should look into it, so with a nod he buckled himself up as Dean raced off. Ignoring his comments about booze and pie. "So some kid is missing and they we need to find out if it is supernatural... Well were there any other kids taken to? How old is this kid? Do we know anything at all? Or did Bobby just tell us a place and call it good?" Sam knew the answer to it but he asked it anyways, it was always good to confirm your information and well being Sam he liked his information, he was kind of the brains where as Dean was the bronze part. They fit perfectly really, couldn't have one without the other. Not saying that either of them were not strong nor smart but it seemed that one always had more than the other. No one complained though.
"Dean, don't tell me how to do my job. I know you have done it a little longer than I have but I do know what I am doing." Lately Sam hadn't been himself, ever since he came back from Hell he had been rude, crude, and almost self absorbed. He wasn't himself at all. In fact he was the complete opposite of that lately. it was rather sad really and it sure was killing Dean, which they experienced more than enough times. Yet it didn't bother Sam, he continued on his merry way destroying and conquering the supernatural with brutal force and determination. It was almost scary really. Sam was nothing like he was when he was on demon blood, he was actually worse in some eyes, but that was a different story.
It didn't take long to get to the address provided. The house was large and that meant people... Oh how Sam didn't like people, with a sigh he slipped off his seat belt, fixed his tie stepping out of the car he fixed his suit a little that way it didn't seem all wrinkly. Looking over at Dean "Ready? This might be a little crazy." He was reffering to the women of the house with a missing child. It always seemed to get a little out of hand, nothing they couldn't anyways but still, it did tend to become a slight headache. Walking up to the door he looked around a little bit just kind of observing the area, making sure there were no lurking people or creatures. Night time was the worst time to be out because that is when all the monsters came out. After looking around he made sure he looked proper and had his badge on him before knocking on the door.
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -There was no way she was going to allow this to get her down. No…there was no damn way. Her sister needed her and she had to be there. She’d wig out and freak out later when they found her safe and sound. She’d coddle her and annoy her and get her to look at her with those exasperated eyes as she tells her that she was freaking out over nothing and that she was fine. She had to calm herself down before she had a panic attack. Why was this freaking her out so badly?! The only other time she remembered being this afraid was when Glory had gotten her and she had literally gone catatonic. She doubted Willow wanted to go inside her head again to bring her back out from the unknown that was her brain so she had to snap out of it.
She took deep breaths, drawing large mouthfuls of air as she tried tied to get herself under control. She hated feeling this way. She was the slayer, she wasn’t helpless. She wasn’t used to not having a solution to a problem. Even when they were battling the first she hadn’t been this afraid…but then again…it was her life on the line…as well as everyone else’s. This was all about her little sister and even though her sister was an adult now…she was still her baby sister. She could still remember the day her parents had brought the little bundle home from the hospital and at first she had wanted nothing to do with her. However when her mom put Dawn in her arms she had immediately known that she was meant to take care of her.
It didn’t ever register to her that that memory wasn’t actually real. Sure she had the real memories as well as those that were planted, when she had died she had been graciously given all of her memories which included a day that never was courtesy of Angel but that was for another time. However in her mind, and in her heart…her sister was still her sister and that was all there was to it.
She shook her head when she brought herself out of her internal ramblings. Getting lost in her head wasn’t what she needed now either way and she had to pull it together. She could hear Willow asking Tara to hold her and for a selfish moment she was jealous. She wished she had someone to hold her and to tell her it would be alright but she didn’t. The one person she wanted to hold her was dead and she didn’t even know how or when he had died…only that he had died the same way he had lived…fighting the good fight.
No, she couldn’t think of him right now. She had to get it together. She’d lose it later…right now it was time to work.
A knock on the door made her jump and she looked at the women in front of her sheepishly. “I’ll get it.” She answered before rushing to the door. For a moment she thought it might be Dawn but then why would she knock on the door to the house that she lived in. She made sure the text message to AJ had been sent before walking over to the door and answering it. She looked at the men in front of her. They looked to be a bit older than her and they were wearing suits. She could see one holding a badge but for some reason her slayer senses were tingling as Xander tended to put it. Not in a bad way, but almost in a familiar was. She knew for certain she had never met these men before…but something about their essence was familiar.
She’d leave it alone for now and examine it later. You know, when her sister wasn’t missing. “Uh…can I help you?” She asked, an uncertain smile on her face.
