--------------------------------xxxxYou take it so slowly And your eyes look so lonely But it's only when you think about me---------------------------------
The Trickster entered the casino MGM, but not entirely as himself. He had the Pepsi Max drinks for the bar. A small smirk appeared on his face as he walked down the stairs and into the casino area when he was greeted by the manager. He held a decent small talk of a conversation and he handed the drink for the fountain to him. He laughed at a few of the managers moronic statements he thought was funny and rolled his eyes as he walked away.
The Trickster had walked back out to the truck and he grabbed some bottles for the vending machines around the hotel. This wasn’t the job that he would have chosen….oh wait it wasn’t his job. It was someone else’s but Gabriel just high jacked the truck and outfit and became the role. Yeah that was it.
Gabriel walked through the casino floor. What a sad place. Full of drunks, people loosing money and hookers. This would be a perfect place for Dean Winchester, that’s for sure. Another smirk appeared on his face when he was shown where the vending machine was. Gabriel had gotten it unlocked and he started piling Pepsi Max bottles in there.
Something had then caught the Trickster’s attention. He looked over to a poker table and saw a rude drunk gaining a lot of money, stealing kisses from the hooker beside him, and watching a desperate person beside him, who was loosing the money. Hell the man should have just dropped it all in his lap and saved himself the humiliation. The Trickster smiled an evil smile. With the unwrapping of a candy bar and with the snap of his fingers, the drunk had lost his money that he had bet, lost it to the poor unfortunate person who was desperate. Humanity was a strange thing, and why did Father love it so much?

Why was he even in such a place? Castiel wouldn't ever really come here on his own, though it likely had something to do with Dean stopping in this city. Though Castiel did have a habit of keeping tabs on his human friend he was sure to try and keep him safe. All Cas had to wonder about is where Giselle was. He did guess that it was something pertaining to watching over a little child for a brief period of time. The seraph knew how much his cherub friend loved children. However, that was not the point, Castiel was here. He had been sensing something very powerful in the vicinity of the little motel that the Winchesters were staying at. It was coming from the place called MGM Grand.
Castiel was still following it. What ever it was. It was familiar though, and Castiel was determined to find out just what it was. Again Castiel would risk no harm to his human friends. He walked around the casino a bit, to any other person he would appear to be no more than a businessman who had taken the long way back to his hotel room. So much decadence. This wasn't a far cry from what he was doing himself about a year ago, he was in no position to judge. Castiel passed by the tables when a peculiar thing happened, peculiar, yet miraculous. He looked about, for some odd reason. This was beginning to confuse him, though the man eating a candy bar was certainly a giveaway. He approached this man. “Hello, Gabriel,” he said.

--------------------------------You take it so slowly And your eyes look so lonely But it's only when you think about me---------------------------------
The Trickster enjoyed the candy bar as much as he could. This is what he missed about being alive, on Earth. He loved the sweets too much. Gabriel had continued to watch the game, the guy continued to loose money, the other guy continued to gain. Within minutes, the poorer guy had at least won a grand. Gabriel never understood the concept of money but it seemed to humanity it was everything and Gabriel was actually being kind enough, in his own way, to help the unfortunate guy take a little home. He would then teach him a lesson from there about walking away. This was two birds with one stone.
The Trickster then sensed something else in the vicinity. The power of an angel. Gabriel let out a sigh of annoyance, knowing that the angel can probably sense his power as well and come looking for him. Gabriel didn’t want anyone to find him.
The Trickster found him, and not just any him. It was his younger brother Castiel. The Trickster didn’t move, not caring that it was Castiel that had found him. He just didn’t want any one else to. He watched the trench coat wearing angel walk over to him. Gabriel didn’t move. He stood there, taking another bite out of his candy bar and watched the man win another five hundred. The smirk grew wider on his face.
The Trickster looked over to Castiel when he greeted him as Gabriel. He let out a sigh and looked at his younger brother. “If you must call me by name, let it be Loki.” Gabriel argued. He looked at him with a serious face, not explaining to him why he wanted to be known as Loki. “So, how’s being the Winchester’s winged servant going for you?” Gabriel then asked with an eyebrow raised. He didn’t really understand what Castiel was doing for the Winchesters, but it looked like they were commanding him around. That was also something Gabriel wouldn’t be able to understand.
“So, you here to command me to stop? Try and stop me?” He asked, now looking at Castiel with a serious look.

This was exactly why Castiel was wary of his other siblings. There were a select few who he really did care about, but Gabriel here was just.... Gabriel. Castiel felt little animosity towards his older brother, and he was probably safer in his presence than in Raphael's. After all, Raphael was the one threatening to turn the earth into a graveyard. He was confused, yet again. Castiel had heard from Dean that Gabriel was killed. How was he back? “How are you.. alive?” Castiel asked. That was definitely the pressing matter on his mind. Granted Gabriel was using his powers to alter the results of a game, and that wasn't really a good thing, he was doing it to aid someone. That was uncharacteristically nice of his big brother. “I.. never said I was going to even ask you to stop... whatever it is that you're trying to accomplish,” Castiel replied, “it's almost nice of you.”
Why did Gabriel continue to use the alias of Loki? “Why... do you continue to use that alias? Surely someone would recognize it as you,” Castiel asked, almost in a curious manner. He was still young even by angelic standards, and there were manythings he didn't get. This would probably give Gabriel merit to even poke fun at him, not that he wasn't going to do it all ready. That's just what Castiel needed, more people to poke fun at him. That made little sense to him, and it was again, confusing. Castiel never thought of himself as servant to the Winchesters, he helped them when he could, as a friend. “They're my friends, I help them when they need it,” he replied. It was all he could say on the matter.

--------------------------------xxxxYou take it so slowly And your eyes look so lonely But it's only when you think about me---------------------------------
Gabriel looked at Castiel in a confused manor. wouldn’t his brother be happy to see him alive? Well, if he was Castiel, he wouldn’t be happy to see himself. Gabriel just shoved the rest of the candy bar into his mouth and he looked back at Castiel, shoving the wrapper into his pocket. Gabriel just shrugged to Castiel’s question. “Why don’t you tell me, bro.” Gabriel responded, with a serious face. He then looked at Castiel, then adding “Honestly, no clue. Trying to figure that out for myself. Any ideas?” Gabriel then asked, as he folded his arms around his chest, covering up the Pepsi Max logo on hiss chest.
Gabriel looked at him and tilted his head to the side. Castiel was being serious. He actually thought Gabriel was doing something nice? Oh well, he kind of was. kind of. Castiel didn’t know his real plan, well part of the real plan. “are you sure?” Gabriel said in response to Castiel raising his eyebrows. A wicked smirk appeared on his face as he looked over at the table. He watched the poor man bet some of the money, then loose, long after the rich dick had left. The man still sat there, betting more then loosing. He still wouldn’t walk away. “Life lessons, Castiel. Trying to teach the man winning isnt everything and that he should walk away. Gambling isnt the answer.” Gabriel said and now the man had lost more of it, then finally got up and walk away. “see?” Gabriel said pointing to the man again as he walked out of the casino. “I’m not a bad guy. Most of my tricks have lessons to them.” Gabriel said looking at Castiel waiting for a response.
Gabriel looked at Castiel when he asked him why he continued to use Loki. “No, others are blind. I use it to hide from our siblings. All they heard was that Loki died, not Gabriel, and I think they think Gabriel is dead anyway so it works, right?” Gabriel looked at Castiel for an honest answer. “Besides, if Raphie or Mikey find me I’ll be dead anyway.” Gabriel then said, wondering if that was actually true. He knew that Raphael wouldn’t think twice about killing him and Michael, well Michael’s Michael. He would probably ask Gabriel which side he was on, blah blah blah and then Gabriel would answer wrong, just as he did to Lucifer and Michael would probably kill him.
Gabriel turned his attention to the candy in his pocket. He pulled out a jaw breaker and popped it into his mouth. He looked at his younger brother and tried to understand. He did though, truthfully. He wished he could make friends like that, but he was afraid to. He was afraid he would mess everything up, get them killed. He did consider the Winchesters friends, because he fought with them, along side them. Gabriel really didn’t have a response to that. He just stood there and continued to think.

“Why don’t you tell me, bro.” Castiel had no idea. He had theories, but they were just theories, they weren't even good ones, at least to him. “I don't know, there have been many strange things happening lately, I wouldn't know where to begin,” he replied. Despite not really liking his own siblings, Castiel was almost happy to see Gabriel still alive, at least he wasn't Raphael. This was certainly different. Though Castiel watched Gabriel supposedly 'mess' with some poor human. At least it didn't end in Gabriel's tricks killing someone. “The past tricks you pulled cost a life,” Castiel said. Since he met Dean, he had been growing less and less tolerant of the expenditure of life. Perhaps his human friends had been growing on him in such a manner.
Castiel ignored his older brother's sweet tooth, after all he was guilty of gluttony not too long ago. He was in a way still fond of the odd hamburger. Though he would likely never freely admit to such a thing. “It's civil war up there,” Castiel admitted. Gabriel needed to know just what was going on in heaven at this time. Whether he wanted to go back or not he was still an angel, albeit an archangel, but he was an angel nonetheless, and this was on a need to know basis. After all Castiel was the opposing side, fighting for freedom, against Raphael. It was a war of uneven odds and Castiel was more strategic about it, but it didn't change the fact that the seraph got discouraged at times.

--------------------------------xxxxYou take it so slowly And your eyes look so lonely But it's only when you think about me---------------------------------
Gabriel looked at his brother with a curious look on his face. Strange things? Like what….well besides him being back from the dead. He didn’t bother to ask Castiel about it, because he really didn’t care. He figured it was his siblings fault for all the strange things happening and they need to clean up their own mess, just as Gabriel cleans up his own…well sort of.
Gabriel looked at him and nodded to his statement, not denying it. Gabriel did kill people, and he didn’t care. Sometimes he killed to save another. That was just something that he and the Winchesters didn’t understand. Gabriel believed he wasn’t a bad person. He killed the hot head with TV’s biggest hot head, well not just because it was funny but because he would have killed his wife eventually, and that didn’t fly well with Gabriel. He knew if he explained it all, Castiel wouldn’t believe. “kill one, save another.” Gabriel had simply stated to Castiel wondering if he would understand. He should, with all the destruction that the angels cause.
Civil war had sparked the archangel’s interest. He looked from the door that the man had walked out of to his younger brother. Why was heaven going through a civil war? What the fuck did he miss? Gabriel let out a sigh, and had an angry look on his face. He hated that, the thought of his siblings fighting. Maybe it was time. Maybe it was time he stepped up and straightened everything up in heaven. His way or the hell way. “Why are they always fighting?” Gabriel asked Castiel, looking at him with a sad look on his face. “tell me about this civil war and what I can do to stop it.”
The youngest archangel had felt anger, sadness and other mixed feelings about his siblings. This is what father should come back for, stop them, stop them all. Gabriel knew that his strength had grown over the years that he spent on earth and he could probably handle himself up there, but being ready to reveal himself? That he wasn’t sure he could do. He was also terrified. He didn’t know what to think anymore.

Under most circumstances Castiel would have understood Gabriel's stand point on the subject. After all, he was like that before he had met Dean Winchester. Since then it seemed as if Castiel had changed, if only a bit. It seemed as if not too long ago that Castiel was more than willing to smite an entire town along with it's 2,114 inhabitants over one witch, and a seal. Now, the seraph would actively avoid such rash decisions. Though, he smote demons, and other creatures when he felt that they would be of any threat to the safety of his human friends. That included Bobby Singer.
Gabriel had then asked about why their siblings were always fighting. Castiel had no idea. He lost count how many times he had asked himself that very question. “I've asked myself the same question,” Castiel replied sadly. The seraph's face was riddled with sorrow over what was going on in heaven. Castiel was very much disappointed in his siblings, and he had expected more, expected better from them. “Raphael wishes to turn this earth into a graveyard,” Castiel replied, “to end the story the way it was written.” And oh how their older brother wished to do so. This was the last thing that Castiel wanted.
The more he thought about it the more he felt that it could be looked at as partially his fault. Castiel was the one leading the side that opposed Raphael. He was certainly not strong enough to fight Raphael head on. “Neither of us would survive a head on fight against Raphael, and his followers.” Castiel admitted. He did know that Gabriel stood a chance, but there was a need for strategy.

--------------------------------xxxxYou take it so slowly And your eyes look so lonely But it's only when you think about me---------------------------------
Gabriel looked at Castiel when he said nothing. The archangel leaned against the cart he was using to bring in all the Pepsi products and rested his head on the palm of his hand like a bored person would. Gabriel wondered if Castiel was like the rest of the angels and agreed with him, but like it mattered anyway. Gabriel didn’t care, not one bit.
Gabriel shook his head when he had been answered by his brother. No one knew why they all kept fighting. Sure, in human nature it was natural for siblings to fight but when father was around, Gabriel didn’t remember fighting with anyone. It was simpler, they all loved each other. Gabriel looked at Castiel when he spoke of Raphael restarting the apocalypse. “THAT FUCKTARD! Gabriel said about his brother, with an angry glimpse in his eyes. “What is running through that idiot’s mind? I swear, sometimes he follows written word a little too seriously. He needs his ass handed to him and I swear it may just be me. I don’t want my brothers fighting on earth or fighting period. Hell, I don’t care where they are, they are not restarting the apocalypse. I chose to help the Winchesters end it and told them about the rings because there was a slight bit of hope that they would succeed and they did. I am sooo not dieing again for this crappy plan that father just happened to throw out there, if he even was the one who came up with it.” Gabriel took a deep breath and let it out to calm down a little. That was the longest rant he had ever had in his life time.
Gabriel stood there allowing himself to calm down. There was a lot on his mind and him bursting out like that probably wasn’t the best thing. He knew that sooner or later he would explode like that, maybe killing a few people in the explosion, but he hadn’t while he was standing there with his brother. He wondered if Castiel was even listening. If that was Castiel’s rant, Gabriel would so have dozed off or something. Gabriel knew he had to defend his world once more, from another brother. He would kill any sibling of his that started breaking seals. That much he knew. He wasn’t going to allow Michael and Lucifer rise, if they haven’t already. By the sounds of Castiel’s words, it sounds like they haven’t and that was the best news so far.
Gabriel looked at Castiel from what ever he was looking at before, kind of spaced off, and shook his head. “you wouldn’t survive. See I learned all my tricks from Lucifer, which is how he knew my next move and killed me. Raphael knows squat, but then again I am not stupid enough to face him head on because last time I did that he electrocuted me.” Gabriel said wondering if he should mention that. “Cas, one thing to know about Raphie is that he has always been and will always be a manipulative bastard. You need a plan, a good plan… a fun plan if you want to win, and I hate to say it but I have your back if you need it, I just want to be left in the dark for a while longer, if you understand.” Gabriel winked to Castiel.
Gabriel never thought he would hear himself say those words. He was actually choosing a side. That couldn’t end well. He just hoped that who ever brought him back would bring him back again if he screwed up and got himself killed. Gabriel also hoped that he wouldn’t be that stupid and allowing himself to get killed, like he just keeps leaving in thought. Gabriel had finished off the jaw breaker and sighed. This was really not going to end well for Heaven and for earth. He knew that Hell would go insane and also try to use the war as an advantage to take over completely. Gabriel wasn’t going to let that happen either. He would stand by the Winchesters as well and fight off anything that would completely threaten earth. What a time to be brought back.
Gabriel looked at Castiel again and he offered his brother a candy bar, not remembering if he even had before. Oh well. Everyone needs a candy bar after a rant explosion like that and Gabriel just had one. He unwrapped it and ate it. He felt like one of those sitcom people, more like Fran Drescher on the Nanny where she would eat after a break up while she was depressed. He sort of half smiled at that thought. Wow, people could really relate to TV if they watched it enough and Gabriel was an addict. He loved TV and watched it when ever he could, even if nothing good was on.
Once Gabriel had completely calmed down he looked at his brother. “Now that I am completely calm, well as calm as I can be, you realize Hell will try to take over too? They will use Heaven’s civil war against the angels and there sure isn’t enough hunters on earth to fend of hell, so what are you going to do about that one? I don’t want hell runnin’ this place as much as Raphie. There is a lot more downside to this war and things to consider, Castiel.” Gabriel finished. He looked at his brother seriously wondering if he understood the risks of this war. The stakes were too high, but just like Cas, Gabe didn’t want Raphie taking over that wouldn’t bode well. He wished father would care. He wished father would come back and take over again. Things ran smoother then.

The little outburst of Gabriel's somewhat unexpected. Castiel didn't jump or anything of that matter. Though, he did understand why Gabriel was so fired up at this time though. He expected more of their siblings as well, he was disappointed in his big brother at the fact that he went from a healer to manipulative assbutt. This was the same older brother who had smitten Castiel himself. Castiel just listened to his big brother's rant. He learned from Giselle that just listening to someone else unload is sometimes helpful. When Gabriel requested to be left in hiding a little while longer Castiel nodded, he understood. It was something similar to what he was doing himself, while he was searching for something to turn the tables on this war.
Castiel turned down the candy bar offered to him. He was more of a cheeseburger angel himself anyway. There is a lot more downside to this war and things to consider, Castiel.” He had thought of that. However, Castiel had a feeling that even if it did happen, the demons thereof wouldn't be able to do much about the situation. Crowley wasn't stupid, Castiel knew that the king of hell wouldn't go after something unless he knew for sure that he was going to be able to get what he wanted. “I had figured as much, it's certainly something that has to be kept in mind.” Castiel replied. That was just definitely something he needed, was even more things to worry about concerning this war, and all that came with it.

--------------------------------xxxxYou take it so slowly And your eyes look so lonely But it's only when you think about me---------------------------------
Gabriel had completely calmed himself down for the most part. He was still pissed. There needed to be someone else up in heaven, someone who would take control, fight for the good fight, not… Gabriel just lost his train of thought. He was so distracted his mind racing. He could never picture his older brother Raphael doing what Castiel is saying he is doing, and Gabriel just didn’t, couldn’t believe it. Raphael was the healer, although he did become a bit of a psychopath since Lucifer was trapped in the cage. Gabriel let out a sigh and he then turned his attention back to Castiel. “So what’s the plan, bro?” Gabriel asked, arching an eyebrow.
Gabriel looked at Castiel when he started talking about heaven and hell and hell trying to take over. He figured. The main question was what he was going to do about it. The archangel waited for him to say something more and he shook his head. “Castiel your very disorganized.” Gabriel said truthfully. “You don’t have enough angels on your side do you?” Gabriel asked in an almost judgemental tone.
The Archangel was disappointed in his younger brother. He had hoped Castiel would have done more by now but apparently the angel seemed to have no idea what he was doing. That is a shame. Castiel was surly to loose if there was no plan, no strategy. Gabriel wondered how he knew so much about this. Oh wait. There was a wonderful invention called television. that’s how he knew so much. Gabriel watched television like non-stop. “Now listen to me. You obviously have no idea what your getting yourself into and your followers. Your all going to die.” Gabriel said again in all seriousness. “I don’t think Raphie would have much mercy either.” he then added looking at Castiel, wondering how Castiel would respond to all of this. Gabriel was only speaking the truth. He liked to be mean this way but it wasn’t for fun which wasn’t to his amusement.

“You don’t have enough angels on your side do you?” The angel shook his head, “No,” Castiel replied. He truthfully didn't have enough angels on his side, Raphael always had been manipulative. That quality seemed to make things easier for him. Castiel had to fully admit that that was possibly the most irritating thing that he had been told that whole conversation. He hated being disorganized. Not having a plan was awful for Castiel. Sure he didn't really know what to do in that kind of a situation. Perhaps being around the Winchesters was beginning to get to him. Their way of doing certain things was different in comparison to the way he used to do things. Castiel usually went in with a plan, but the Winchesters tended to take things as they came. Just completely different ways of dealing with things.
There were just so many things going through his mind. Just what was he going to do? Castiel didn't like being without a plan. Here he was, without one. How could one possibly have a plan for something so very massive as this? Castiel had few on his side, after all, a great majority of angels were much like Uriel was. “Of course he won't,” Castiel replied, “He sees us all as traitors.” He knew for sure that he would know torment like no other if Raphael had his way. The other thing that was unbearable was if his friends got the same, because of him. “I must be going, brother,” Castiel said. With that Castiel disappeared.
