- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean was headed back to the Motel room with Sam, Dean still couldn’t believe that Jo was really back. But Sam was back to so how could it really be to much of a shock, all these people just coming back what does it all mean? Dean hopes that maybe Castiel will have the answers to what is going on here. If Dean could get a hold of him that is, every time Dean calls to him there is no answer. What a great Angel you call to him and what do you get, no answers. But Dean needed to understand that Castiel was dealing with a lot up in Heaven, so he really couldn’t be to hard on him. But He is going to freak when he see’s Sam and Jo are both back, the question is will he be able to tell what is wrong with Sam. Because Dean was sure of one thing, Sam was not acting like Sam anymore, something was very wrong.
Dean grabbed his bags and got out of Impala, he headed to the motel door to unlock it, " home sweet home.” Dean said opening the door to the room. Dean sat his bags down next to the couch and sat down, he was so tired he had not slept in days. Dean couldn’t remember the last time he had gotten any sleep, it not really in his agenda anymore. With him busy all the time and worried about Sam, he couldn’t sleep even if he tried to. Dean then looked over at Sam seeing what he was up too, “how you feeling Sammy? you doing ok over there?” Dean asked Sam.
Dean then got out is phone to see if he had any missed calls at all, so far nothing from Castiel. Dean didn’t really talk to Castiel much on the phone, he usually just calls for him. But Dean then thought about it, “what the hell why not, it couldn’t hurt to try.” Dean said to himself as he started to dial his cell phone to Castiel. Dean hoped that maybe just maybe he would pick up, “Come on Cass pick up, please!” Dean said hoping he would pick up. But nothing, so Dean up away his phone, Dean though he would give it one more shot. “Now I pray for Cass to get his feathery Ass down here! Come on Cass we have a situation down here, I need you man!” Dean shouted waiting to see what would happen, so far nothing.

---------------------------- ---------------------------- Sam sat in the Impala as they made their way back to the motel the Winchesters were currently staying in. It was a crappy place to be but better than sleeping in the car like they have done in the past. Sam let off a sigh as Dean drove through the streets of the town. They were not too far away which was nice because Sam was tired and wanted to just lay down for a bit. He was also just glad that they were moving finally. Finally going to get answers on what they have been thinking about. Sam was finally going to get to have his memories back... Although the more he thought about it the more unsure he was to having them back. Did he really want to remember what it was like in Hell, locked in a cage with Lucifer and Michael? He wasn't sure. Even though he was unsure Sam was going to have them back anyways. He would never feel whole with them missing.
It didn't take long to arrive at the motel. With a sigh of relief Sam got out of the Impala grabbing his own bags and heading to the door. It was nice to finally have a bed to sleep on even though they were not the best things in the world but a lot better than sleeping in the Impala. Walking in Sam dropped his stuff on the end of his bed and just kind of plopped down. The bed was firm and crisp not really the way he liked it but it was better than nothing that was for sure. Rolling over he looked to Dean and nodded. He was fine, he was a little impatient though. They all really needed Castiel, sure he had a lot to deal with but as a friend... No as a brother they needed him more right now. Sam sat up and looked to the ceiling waiting for Castiel to appear. He was taking too long in Sam's mind.
"C'mon Cass!" Sam didn't really say it out loud but those who were listening could hear him. Castiel could have hear him if he was listening as well. Sam reached over to his bag and pulled out some chips he had stored away for when he got hungry which was rare really because Sam was now to reoccupied with hunting and killing to really care about eating or sleeping. Sam wanted to spend every waking moment on the move but he knew he couldn't do that, his body would not tolerate it neither would Dean's. They were human after all... At least Dean was, Sam was only part but it would still have taken a toll if tried and well Sam was not willing to risk his own body for that. Opening the bag he began to pop the chips into his mouth one by one... Just waiting for their friend to answer Dean's call.

Jessica Lee Moore was not in a very good mood. All that she had ever learned in church (when she was much younger of course) had been a complete and utter lie. She had always had this sort of vision in her head of what angels and heaven would look like. She knew it was sort of juvenile to picture heaven the way that cartoons portrayed them as but she couldn’t help it. When she thought of heaven she thought of white clouds, angels walking around in white robes, wings and horns that they could play. She thought of everyone getting along…no pain…no sickness…to hunger…no war. How wrong she was.
Heaven was nothing like she had imagined. Sure she had seen others heavens. She had seen her own. But it was still strange. The groups of others heavens were fine and dandy, but the real one…the main one…where God resided…it was not at all what she imagined. She wanted to go back and pretend it was white clouds and robes all over again…but unfortunately she couldn’t. Being an angel was an okay experience until she had been literally pulled up to be given a crash course in how to be an angel. Yeah, it would have been nice for her to learn everything before she had been sent down to earth. However luckily it hadn’t taken that long and she was now back on earth. Unfortunately now she was almost lost as to what to do.
She knew many angels were involved in other things other than protecting their charges. Some angels didn’t have charges. Some did other things that she really had no idea about. She knew there was a war going on, and Castiel (her supposed mentor) was a part of that. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you looked at it) she wasn’t involved in it. She knew a lot of people didn’t trust her because she had once been a human. She would earn their trust one day…and if she didn’t…she didn’t really care.
A voice sounded and she looked around, not understanding where it was coming from. She heard Castiel’s name but Castiel wasn’t near her…and it became quite obvious that neither was the person who was calling to him. She wondered briefly why she was getting a call for Castiel…that didn’t bode well for her at all. She heard a comment about getting his feathery ass down there and she giggled a bit. Her giggle however was cut off when she heard a voice she knew well. It was different, not as soft, but it was there.
Jess took a deep breath and did exactly what she had been trained (very briefly mind you) to do. She followed the voice and before she knew it she opened her eyes and was standing in a small motel room looking at Sam and Dean Winchester. “I don’t know where Castiel is…but maybe I can be of some help?” She asked, smiling her innocent smile before turning to Sam. “Hi Sam.”

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean stood there continuing to call for Castile and still nothing, he guessed as always Cass must have been busy. Which Dean understood, but he needed his help so bad with what was up with Sam, Cass still didn’t know he was back yet. That is if it was even really Sam anymore? That why Dean had to find Castiel to get the low down on what was wrong, he just had to know what was wrong with Sam. It was killing Dean inside, it was like he had his brother back but it was like he didn’t at the same time. Dean was looking at Sam and was with him, but in no way was he acting like him. It was like all feel of who and what he was Dead and gone inside.
Dean sat there on the couch trying not to cry and stress out, he didn’t want Sam to see him cry. There was no point in letting him see it wasn’t like he would care or anything, not with how he as been acting. Dean had his head looking down towards ground, it made it easier for Dean to not have Sam look straight at him. Dean was rubbing his head trying not to get the headache that was coming on, He was so stressed out and upset he felt sick to his stomach. Not long after Dean shouted for Castiel, he heard a voice say “I don’t know where Castiel is…but maybe I can be of some help?” Dean knew that he had heard that voice before, it was sweet yet kind and a bit shy sounding. It he couldn’t remember the last time he heard that voice, but he knew he had once before.
Dean slowly looked up to see who it was, he was sure of one thing it had to be an Angel. When Dean looked he couldn’t believe his eyes, there was no way it could really be her. Sam coming back might be possible, and Jo maybe. But Jess as an Angel even! Dean never in a million years saw that coming, “Oh my god Jess….is… it really you?” Dean said in shock. He looked over at Sam to see what was going threw his mind right now, Dean didn’t know if Sam’s reaction was even going to be with how he has been acting. But maybe this would help Sam seeing Jess again, Dean could only hope this might work. Dean looked back at Jess still in shock, “So jess how and why are you here anyway?” Dean said to her.

---------------------------- ---------------------------- Sam had been laying on his bed eating chips cursing Castiel under his breath. He understood he was busy but still, maybe it was just Sam's new personality where his needs needed to be met or he would be angry. Either way Sam was not a happy camper. With a sigh he grabbed some more chips and shoved them into his mouth. Chopping down he rolled over to look at the walls but it was interrupted by a woman's voice. It sounded so familiar... Too familiar, Sam really didn't want to look over but he did. With chips still in his mouth he looked over. Everything went silent and he dropped his bag of chips, spilling them all over the ground... He wasn't sure how to react. "Jess...." the word slipped out of his mouth filled with chips, it was almost like acid being poured on to his heart. His lover who was killed long ago now standing before him. How was it possible? Was this a dream?
He sat up and tried to say something only to end up choking on his chips. Clearing his throats he looked at her now on his feet. He didn't believe his eyes. Sam may have been surprised but he sure as hell didn't look it. Sam almost looked mad "What are you doing here?" When he spoke it came off as harsh and unwanted. He couldn't help it. Sam really didn't have much emotion. It didn't take long till all the hunting and all his knowledge came and hit him. Sam than turned and quickly went for a gun. Spinning on his heels he held a gun to Jessica's head, his face filled with anger. "Your not real! Humans can't become Angels. What are you?!?" Sam spent his life time reading and learning, it was what he was good at and everything he had ever read other than silly children books stated that humans couldn't become angels. They were not perfect or sinless. So in Sam's mind Jess was no Angel it had to be a demon or something!
Sam held the gun tightly shaking slightly. It was ready and loaded. Sam had lost it. Finally his true colors were showing. He had so much anger and hatred fuming from his body "What the Hell ARE YOU!" He wasn't playing games anymore. Being soulless took a toll on him, things were not right and he needed help any Angel could see that he was empty inside running on nothing but pure anger, his eyes like empty voids. His soul was still in Hell being shredded and ripped apart over and over again. If Sam didn't get it back soon it really would be the end of him once again. But if he did get it back would his human self be able to sustain a soul that has been abused that much in Hell. It could kill him. Would it be a risk to take for every ones sake. Who knew. But at that moment all Sam could see was evil, demons and monsters. Tears ran down his cheeks he was confused. Sam was like a lost puppy needing to be found and loved.

Jessica Lee Moore had come to a conclusion…she wasn’t sure what that conclusion was because her mind was swirling around at the speed of a freight train, but she knew she had come to one. Standing in front of her were two people. One she knew extremely well, and one she had met briefly but felt like she knew him because of stories she had heard…both from his brother…his girlfriend…and of course those upstairs who had briefed her on what was going on down on Earth. She almost expected him to comment on the smurfs but when he didn’t she was almost disappointed. She grinned at him, her white teeth showing as she let out a full smile.
“Sorry to disappoint ya Dean…no smurfs today. So it’s understandable you would question if it was me” She told him laughing a bit. “However, yes, I can assure you, I am who you think I am. I’ll give you my name, date of birth, and social security number later if you want. It’s a long story of how I’m back and to be honest it’s pretty boring” She told him before turning her attention back to the reason she was alive…well sort of…again. She knew she was lying a bit, her story wasn’t boring, but she really couldn’t tell them the exact reason she was back. She would tell them parts of it, but not all of it. She had made a promise.
She was surprised at the harsh sound of his voice when he asked what she was doing here. Again, her illusions of what should have been were ruined. She had this vision of meeting Sam on a beach (yes, it was her illusion, let her live it the way she wanted to) and when he saw her again they’d run to each other and embrace and yeah, okay, definitely not happening that way. She was taken aback at the anger that seemed to pour out of him as he looked at her. She wasn’t sure what she had done to piss him off but she would definitely set him straight.
She opened her mouth to respond to him when he interrupted her. She watched things as in slow motion as Sam picked up his gun and put it directly to her head. For a moment she was scared to death until she remembered that she was already dead and a gun would not do anything to her….though she’ll admit she’d be extremely upset if he shot her.
Jess put her hands on her hips and gave him a glare. “Samuel Allen Winchester put that damn gun down you idiot.” She stated, her angelic features marred with a glare that didn’t fit her face. She really didn’t want to fight with him but she would if it meant not getting shot. Again, she had been human for a whole lot longer than she’d been an angel so it would take some getting used to.
“I’m well aware that humans usually are not turned into angels…apparently I’m a guinea pig of some sort. I was called from my heaven and asked if I would help them. I agreed and BAM, I’m back in my body (though I have no idea how) and I’m standing in the middle of a street and have no idea what’s going on. Met up with Castiel then he had to leave because you were calling him Dean, then I was pulled back up to heaven and given a crash course on how to be an angel. I came back down and heard you two calling and came here. Now, what is the matter?” She asked all in one breath, but still glaring at her ex boyfriend. Oh, they were going to have a long talk.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean still was standing there in shock wanting to know how was Jess even Back! Dean didn’t think humans could be angels, it seems like everyday Dean finds out something new in his crazy ass life. Dean looked at Jess as she stood there smiling, she was still as beautiful as she ever was. “I’m sorry Jess I guess I’m still in a bit of shock that you are even here! But don’t worry I trust that it is really you, remembering about the Smurfs shirt that I liked proves it even more to me.” Dean said to Jess laughing. “Jess don’t get me wrong I’m very happy to see you, but the real question is what and why are you here? Is everything ok with you Jess?”
Dean then saw Sam get up choking on chips, maybe he was actually happy to see her. Dean was hoping to see a side of his brother that he so desperately missed, Dean could only hope this would wake up whatever was wrong with him. He waited to see how Sam was going to react to all this, he was actually kind of sacred of what he might do because of the way Sam had been acting lately. Dean didn’t know what he was going to try and do, he hoped that Sam wasn’t going to hard on Jess like he has been on everyone else. Dean remembers how much Sam and Jess loved each other, and it still kills Dean everyday that his brother had to lost her. Dean knew how Sam really felt about her, Sam wanted so badly just to finish law school and marry Jess. Dean feels that in away it is his fault, if he wouldn’t have made Sam leave and go hunting with him to find there Dad, none of that might not have even happed. That is one of the things Dean wishes everyday that Sam could have Jess back, so Dean couldn’t express how happy he really was to see her.
When Jess walked up to Sam he looked almost pissed off, Dean knew for sure now something was wrong with Sam. If he was acting like this to Jess the love of his life, something was wrong with him. “Sam this is Jess we are talking about, aren’t you happy to see her man? What the hell is going on with you anyway Sammy!” Dean said to Sam pissed as all hell. Then Dean watched as Sam pulled out his gun, Dean jumped over near Jess making sure Sam wasn’t going to try any stupid shit. Dean looked Sam straight in the eyes and said, “calm down this is really Jess man, Sammy don’t try anything stupid! You and I both know if she is really an Angel that gun isn’t going to do anything to her!” Dean stood there next to Jess keeping an close eye on Sam, god only knows what the hell he could do next with the way he was being. Dean then jumped when he heard jess raise her voice at Sam, saying his full name none the less. “Man she told you Sammy” said Dean.
Dean listen as Jess expand more to them about what was going on, it seemed like she was a bit lost on what was going on as well. Dean was happy to hear that she did knew Castiel and that he was alright. It would be nice for him to show up every once and awhile, “so you know Cass! Is he ok because he sucks at letting people know these things” Dean asked Jess. Dean wanted to know what Castiel had been up too all this time? Jess then asked why Dean was yelling for Castile anyway, Dean didn’t care anymore he was going to tell her what was wrong right in front of Sam. “Well I need Cass because as you can see Sam isn’t acting like Sam, He is acting like a fucking crazy person! Sorry Jess for my language I’m just going threw a lot right now!” Dean said to Jess with his hands on his head, trying not to lose it.

---------------------------- ---------------------------- His eyes were targeted on Jessica's, this was hard for him to grasp. In his mind this was impossible she died a long time ago, why now? Sam's 'heart' sank to his stomach "How do you know she is really an Angel? Maybe this is a trick trying to get to us, a Demon. We are always being hunted so what makes this any different? I just can't believe it is her. She died a long time ago, why would they bring her back now! What is so important that they needed a human to be an Angel, if that is really what she is!" Sam knew Jess was right there but he wouldn't talk, talk to her. It was too hard for him. It was hard enough just to look at her again, she looked the same. This killed Sam inside not mention confused him to no end.
The gun was still raised to her head. He was a little more relaxed, he wasn't going to shoot her, it was now there more for comfort. A just encase sort of deal. He still seemed so angry but he was calm now. His eye contact dropped to the floor, looking at Dean every once in a while. He wasn't sure what to do. His hunter side was telling him to just shoot her, if she was a real Angel she would come back, if not than they got away with their lives for another day. But deep down inside him there was a part of him telling him to drop the gun back away. Maybe run. Something other than violence. Sam sighed his hand now squeezing the gun, he was only inches away from the trigger.
Dean was telling him not to do anything crazy, but how was he not suppose to? They spent their lives hunting and getting tricked and put into sticky situations, so why was this different. He couldn't understand why Heaven would take a human as an Angel. Yes Jessica was Angelic in every way possible to Sam but that didn't mean a thing for Heaven. Sam's anger flared up and he was ready the trigger, he wanted to but he couldn't. Something wouldn't let him do it! He dropped the gun to the floor and fell to the bed, his hands on his face. He was so confused. Yet he felt nothing inside him, no remorse nothing. He looked at the ground and listened to Dean speak to Jess. He began saying something about Sam and he looked up.
Dean told Jessica that there was something wrong with him. Angered Sam stood up and punched Dean. "How could you say that! There is nothing wrong with me! I am being the hunter you always wanted me to be! I am being like you and Dad! If anyone is not the same it's you! You shot your own brother because you were paranoid! Not to mention you have gone a bit soft just because you got Lisa and Ben! Has hunting finally got to you Dean?" Sam had lost it finally, he was hitting dean in all the weak spots. He was being irrational and not him. Sam needed his soul before he really messed things up with his brother. Sam seemed to be in a trans, he got dizzy and headed for the door. He needed to get out of there before things got worse and things were said that were more hurtful. He stumbled a little and his breathing was heavy. Sam reached the door and stopped, leaning against it the coldness cooled him. Sam didn't know why he was so confused and always felt so empty, so emotionless. Maybe something was wrong with him and he just didn't want to admit it.

After his little meeting with Giselle, and Dean, Castiel had gone back into the fray. He was still looking for that little something that would turn the tables of this war. Of course, he was in no condition to be facing Raphael and his army head to head, that would be just stupid. Castiel knew that there must have been something that would help. The angel knew that freedom was something worth fighting for, until that last man fell. At some times Castiel wondered if Dean ever actually comprehended the situation that he was in. While he did care deeply for his human friend, he felt that Dean was a little to entitled. At any rate, that was what made Dean...well, Dean.
Then Castiel heard it “Now I pray for Cass to get his feathery Ass down here! Come on Cass we have a situation down here, I need you man!” Dean. On most circumstances Castiel would answer immediately, but at the moment he was possibly being watched. He heard another "C'mon Cass!" Sam? Castiel thought Sam had been locked in Lucifer's cage, that was intriguing to say the least. No sooner than he had heard his name be called in prayer did he be ambushed by a few of Raphael's followers, only to kill them. However, that left Castiel mortally wounded. Danger was clear for now, and the seraph made his way to Dean's location.
With the sound flapping of wings announcing his arrival, he appeared in the motel room, to witness Sam threatening his protege, and being fairly hostile. It was uncharacteristic of him to say the least. “Jessica is an angel, you could say... she's my trainee,” he said weakly but in a stern manner. Castiel couldn't believe it, he was alive. The angel was indeed happy to see Sam, but had trouble showing it since he was in some serious pain. His hand was holding his side, and he practically dragged himself to a closet door, where he used his own blood to mark a warding sigil. When his hand left his side that wound leaked a white light, Castiel's grace, and blood a lot of it. With that wound most humans would have been dead or dying, Castiel supposed that he was just lucky to have survived that ambush. He just slumped into the floor, before standing yet again. The only thing keeping him conscious was possibly his own stubbornness and determination.
Castiel attempted to make his way to an arm chair, and miraculously did so, only to lower himself into it like his own weight was unbearable. It kind of was, and Castiel was just exhausted, more so than he usually was. Castiel looked up and spoke again “I'm here, what did you need?” He was still willing to help, but as the saying went, his spirit was willing but the flesh was weak. Now it was taking all of what energy he had left to stay conscious. “I'm... sorry I couldn't get here sooner,” Castiel stated laboriously. Now it was even hard to talk, this sucked for sure.

Jessica Lee Moore’s eyes widened as she took in the fight in front of her. She had heard from Sam that the two brothers fought a lot but from what she had heard over the past few days (rumors from heaven) that the two brothers had gotten to be on better terms. Seeing the two fighting like this was making her extremely irritable and it wasn’t something she relished the feeling of being. She hated being angry with people, she really hated it. It annoyed her to no end to be frustrated with people…especially those that she cared about. However these two (well…really Sam more than Dean) were behaving in an incredibly immature fashion and if it didn’t stop soon she would resort to some sort of violence…though she had no idea what she would do to either of them with a gun pointed at her.
She’d think of something. She always did. She hoped it wouldn’t come down to violence as she really had no idea how to throw a punch at anyone (metaphorically speaking) without seriously hurting them since she did know that angels had superior powers over others. She didn’t want to hurt Sam…but she would if he kept looking at her the way that he was.
Jess’s hands went to her hips as she met Sam’s eyes with a harsh look. “How does HE know that I’m an angel? Why don’t you stop speaking about me as if I’m not in the room and instead talk to me. Ask me anything that only Jessica Lee Moore would know…” She told him, her gaze haughty but firm. This was ridiculous. She would admit that her earlier fantasy of them running into each other’s arms was a bit off, but this was just simply ridiculous. There was most definitely something wrong with her ex boyfriend and she was bound and determined to figure out what it was.
Whatever the cost might be.
She threw a glare at Dean when she heard Sam say that he was behaving like the hunter Dean had always wanted him to be. Jesus this freaking family had some issues. Maybe instead of an angel God should have brought her back as a therapist…they may benefit more from group family therapy than from another angel hovering over their shoulders.
Jessica Lee Moore opened her mouth to omit another fairly scathing comment but was interrupted by Castiel literally flying into the room…well…sort of. She wasn’t surprised when Castiel immediately addressed Sam in the way he was treating her but she waved him off a bit. “It’s okay, apparently my loving ex boyfriend has decided I’m evil and out to destroy him.” She stated before leaning in and whispering in his ear. “Has he been like this since I died because if so I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with him.” She told him before taking a good look at him. Her eyes widened as she took in his injured form.
She watched as he lowered himself into a chair and she walked over to him once more, bending down on her knees. “Do you want me to heal you or whatever it is called that you angels…well…us angels do? If so I can and then we can get to solving the mystery of Sam and why he’s being such a douche.” She threw out loudly, knowing that both Winchester brothers could hear her every word.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Sam was right there was a possibility that Jess wasn’t Jess, but at this point she the only one that has came back acting like them self’s. When Dean talked to her he felt like he was really talking to Jess, Dean trusted his instincts on this one. She did remember the whole smurf shirt thing so that was a plus, Sam had showed no signs of it being him at all. Sam was still going on and on he knew he would have to prove it to Sam in someway, Dean walked over and got some stuff out of his bag. Dean handed Jess some holy water “Jess could you do me a favor and drink this please, that is if my crazy ass brother will take the gun off your head” Dean said glaring at Sam. Dean knew that if Jess was an Angel, then the holy water wouldn’t do anything to her. That still probably wouldn’t prove anything for Sam with the way he was being.
Dean block Sam stopped him from punching him in the face, He was pissed now. Dean didn’t know what the hell Sam was talking There Dad never taught them to be like that, there Dad had emotions and cared for others. Sam didn’t care in anyway shape or form, right now he didn’t care for anyone or anything but himself. After blocking Sam Dean now had him pined against the wall “Sam I don’t know what you are talking about man there is something very wrong with you, trust me I grew up with you and I know my brother. You have no idea how much this is killing me deep down, I just want my brother back! I need that more then anything right now Sam, especially with Castiel being busy and not being able to be with Lisa and Ben.” Dean said starting to lose it trying now shed tears. He tried to hold back but at this point he just didn’t care anymore, might as well go nuts nothing else was getting threw to Sam.
But then speak of the devil who was it to show up, it was Castiel after all this time. But he didn’t look so well, almost like he had been hurt in a fight. Dean let go of Sam against the wall and ran over to the hurt Angel. Dean would rather be there for him right now, the only family that Dean had that was till acting like him and cared. “Cass what the hell happen to you man are you ok?” Dean said helping Castiel to the chair. “Sorry Cass I called for your help with Sam but you didn’t answer right away, I feel bad now and I know why. It is ok Jess has been here helping, which is great but Sam has been trying to kill her.” Jess then came over seeing what she could do to help, asking if she should heal him. Dean didn’t know what needed to be done all he knew is he wanted Castiel to get help and fast. “Yeah Jess you think you could help him?” Dean asked the sweet little Angel. This was great Sam is going nuts trying to kill his ex girlfriend, beat the hell out of Dean, and now a dying Angel! What the hell else could go wrong for Dean today. ---------------------------- ---------------------------- Sam stopped everything as soon as Cass flew into the room... He was injured and Sam could tell. Nothing was making sense to him anymore, it all seemed so fuzzy and incoherent. He sighed as he set the gun down and pushed it away from him. He leaned his head against the wall... He couldn't do anything anymore it was as if he was being held down even though he wasn't. It was all mental, in his head. He looked away from everyone not wanting to talk or look at anyone or anything. All Sam's thoughts were gone there was nothing going through his mind anymore, he was confused and tired.
He listened as Jess went to help Cass, but was there anything she could do? Sam wasn't really sure. It was just best if he kept his mouth shut and staid where he was which was out of everyone's way. Sam couldn't help but to think about how he came back, was he even suppose to come back? So many unanswered questions that he wasn't even sure he wanted answers. For all he knew they could lead to more questions. Another sigh escaped his lips.
While Sam sat there, back in hell his soul was being ripped apart, shredded and tortured yet no one even knew it. What was going to happen when he got it back? Would he survive? Could a mortal survive that? There was no way to know really and it didn't help that Sam had no idea what was really going on. Sam was now on a different planet his mind was going everywhere so many thoughts were everywhere and he wasn't really sure what to do or how to deal with it all. He was pulled back to earth from all the talking yet he said nothing, did nothing. What could he do? He was empty inside he had no feelings, no emotions. There was nothing and everyone around him could feel it but him... Yet he was totally and utterly oblivious to it all.

While he was fairly used to seeing the boys be aggressive to one another on occasion, it was another thing for them to be physically hostile. Castiel knew for certain that Sam was definitely not himself. Something was up that was for sure. When Jessica whispered into his ear Castiel looked at her. “No, this isn't like him.” he replied, in a solemn tone. It was worry some, and Castiel could tell that Jess was deeply concerned about the younger Winchester. One thing was certain, and that was the fact that Castiel was still injured. He was weak, but he'd heal, if only he could rest of course. “I was ambushed, when I got your call,” Castiel said, attempting to sound like he was fine, but was probably failing, “I couldn't... lead them here, it was too dangerous.” Hopefully these two boys would understand.
At the mention of attempting to heal him Castiel shook his head slowly in a no fashion. “I'll heal,” he replied, “thank you, for the concern.” Castiel was beginning to understand the reasons behind the decision to give Jess the grace of an angel. She reminded him of Giselle, and how there weren't enough angels like her. Perhaps this would change the tide of the war? Even if they were no match in battle at least there were some who put humanity in a higher priority, like the way their father intended. That was a nice thought, wasn't it? “How are you back, Sam?” Castiel asked. That was just a little abrasive, but he was never one to beat around the bush.
Sure the seraph was in excruciating pain, but there was obviously something that needed to be done. He'd hopefully be able to rest afterward. There was something different, the bad kind of different, about Sam. Needless to say, Castiel was very concerned right now. This of course was possibly more important than the wound in his side. These were some of his dearest and closest friends after all. Castiel gave everything for them, and he would continue to do so as their guardian.

Jessica Lee Moore rolled her eyes at the request but took the glass nonetheless. This whole thing was ridiculous. Most people would be glad to see their loved ones return from the grave…especially one that was in pristine condition and not looking like some random gory zombie. But Sam Winchester…nope, not him. No, of course not! He was sitting here threatening to shoot her and spewing out all kinds of asinine accusations that made her want to kick his lily white ass. She took a deep breath before downing the entire glass of holy water in one sip. She raised her eyebrows at them both before making a show with her hands. “Satisfied?” She asked with a sneer in Sam’s direction.
She watched as Dean begged Sam to come back to him, to figure out what was making him behave this way and it made her heart bleed for the two brothers. She knew they hadn’t been close when her and Sam had been together. She had heard the stories of how Sam’s father had wanted something more of him than he did and so he left and never looked back. However over the years since her death she could see the closeness that they had developed…at least on Dean’s side. So seeing this usually strong resilient man beg for his little brother back…it was heart wrenching.
She frowned when Castiel confirmed her suspicions that he wasn’t usually like this and that worried her even more. Jess had no idea how to handle this Sam…she had honestly never met him. Even when he was angry or they were fighting, he was never outwardly mean. Sure they would get under each other’s skin sometimes but that was what couples did…but this Sam…she felt like she was looking at someone else…not the love of her…well…life she guessed…though in all actuality she was dead.
Jess watched as Castiel shook his head in a no fashion in answering her if he wanted to be healed. “Are you sure? I can do it if you’d like.” She answered, not understanding why he wouldn’t want to be healed but she’d respect his wishes if he’d like her too.
Jess refused to push her luck with asking anymore questions so she stood up again and walked over to Sam, slapping him straight across the face. “Now, you’re going to answer our…well…Castiel’s questions or you’re going to sit down and shut up. Either way, you’re going to behave. Got it?” She asked with a petulant look on her face. This wasn’t the first time she had slapped Sam and it wouldn’t be the last…she tended to wear the pants in their relationship and she wasn’t giving them up any time soon regardless of the fact that they weren’t actually together.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean head was going crazy right now with so many feelings, there was so much stuff going on in this motel right now it was nuts. On one hand he a had a bleeding Angel who Dean really didn’t want to die. In there other he had his crazy ass brother trying to kill his ex girlfriend who was now back as an Angel, and was still as how as ever. Dean couldn’t lie about that he always thought Jess was a little hottie, from the first moment he laid he eyes on her. Dean can still picture it all now, Sexy Jess wearing little shorts and a little Smurfs top. Man she looked so hot. Dean then realized he needed to get back to reality, even though he really didn’t want to this was not fun for Dean at all. Why couldn’t he just have his brother back, was that so much to really ask for?
Dean looked back over at Sam as he still looked like he was scared and lost, but at least he had put the gun down for now. Dean knew something was up with him, it was almost like a piece of him was missing or something? Like something got left behind in hell. But then Dean wondered if maybe Castiel could tell if something was missing or broken? Dean then turned to Castiel to ask him while Sam was talking to Jess, even thought Dean felt bad about asking him. Castiel was bleeding everywhere after all, not the best time to be asking an Angel for help in all, but Dean was disparate. “Hey Cass you think there is anyway that you can feel Sam to see what is wrong with him? There has to be something you can do, I mean cant you tell if someone is not human or not all there? He just seems like something has been displaced you know?”
Dean then turned his attention back over to Jess as he heard her sound like she was getting pissed off, Dean could tell that she was getting sick of the way Sam was being too. Then Dean’s mouth dropped as he watched Jess smack Sam across the face, Dean still couldn’t believe what he saw. She was taking charge! He knew then she was not talking anymore of Sam’s shit. “Damn Sammy she showed you! I’m sacred to know what it is like when you guys have angry sex.” Dean said laughing like crazy. “You know Sam this even beats the time that I got wailed by Paris Hilton for sure! This takes the cake on ass beating for us!” Dean then turned to Jess patting her on the shoulder and said, "nice one by the way! You can set Sam a lot straighter then I can!" Hell Dean then wondered if Jess would have made a good hunter? The girl had some power to her hit, and she had spunk. Dean then straighten back up, knowing he needed to get back to the job at hand. Dean looked over at Castiel letting him know that is was time to do something or anything that could help at Sam and fast.
