There are strange things happening all over the world, but they all seem to be gravitating towards a small town in Virginia called Richmond.

Richmond is one of the few towns that vampires try to stay clear of. However there are a few who seem to gravitate towards it, and because of them, more and more are realizing it is safer and heading to the small town...where there is no one to keep the town safe.

One town over, in Mystic Falls Virginia, the town itself is reeling over the events of the past month. Elena Gilbert and Damon Salvatore are desperately trying to save Elena's boyfriend and Damon's brother Stefan, from the original hybrid Klaus. The town itself has lost many people over the past months and are trying to recover, though no end is in sight.

In Kansas, Dean Winchester is still grieving over the loss of his brother, yet he's trying to move on with his life with the help of his love, Lisa. After many months of debating they finally have decided where to settle down...a town called Richmond.

In Los Angeles California, the survivors of an epic battle are attempting to get their bearings in order. Angel, Spike, and the rest of the survivors head to Italy where they know they can help others find their own powers within.

In Rome Italy, Buffy Summers and her group of survivors are training slayers and watchers from all corners of the earth...recruiting them to fulfill their destinies. There has been a lull in slayer activity until another potential is found...but is in danger because of the vampire activity around her. Leaving with a few of those who can take care of themselves, Buffy heads to Richmond...and once there she realizes not everything is at it first appears.

Five years have passed since the six students from Roswell left the small town on the run from the FBI. Since then they had to split up in order to keep safe, though something is calling to each of them to head to Richmond Virginia.

What will happen? Will the vampires and demons win out? Or will the groups be able to come together to stop an apocalypse no one has ever seen before.
