---------------- [/b] ----------------[/b] Kennedy Marie Johnson grunted as she threw the vampire against the tomb. She had found a nest earlier that day and was single handedly taking out the three vampires that were occupying the small mausoleum where she had found them at. She hated seemingly working for the good guys, but it was a stress relief. Besides, she was above these low creatures. She worked for a being that these low creatures couldn’t even begin to fathom to kind of power he wielded. She felt it when he was near and she knew that he would come down and rain holy hell on the earth when he made his move.
Her stake ran through the last of the vampires and she stood up, dusting off her jeans as she did. She knew that it was time to pay her lover a visit. She wasn’t stupid or naive. She knew that Tara Maclay, Willow’s former lover who had died from a gunshot wielded by the man that Willow killed, had been reincarnated by the Powers that Be. She rolled her eyes at the mere mention of the Powers, they were nothing compared to the lord she now served…which was something she never thought she would say because she didn’t like taking orders from anyone.
Kennedy chuckled under her breath. She had a feeling that was why she was able to serve the being she did, because he gave her no orders. He told her to do what she wanted and to only allow certain beings to live, the rest were for the taking. A phrase caused her to pause as she remembered someone mentioning it before. Her idol, Faith Lehane, the slayer who had gone rogue at one time, had said it perfectly. Want, Take, Have…that’s exactly what she was doing from now on.
And no blonde bitch would stop her.
She smirked before schooling her features into a more trust worthy mask before knocking on the door to the Slayer-Watcher Boarding House whose address had been given to her by one of the receptionists in Rome. No one knew she was no longer working for them…
And Kennedy was determined to keep it that way until just the right moment---Then everyone would burn.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It had been day since Willow had Tara back, and for once in a long time in Willow life things felt whole again. Even with the fact Sunnydale gone things were going back the way they were a year ago for Willow. The group seemed all back together and normal, even thought some of them were still in Rome. Yeah Willow was loving how life was going right now, things were just prefect. Willow just hopes things stay this way, but with there crazy slaying life and luck who really knows. Willow was sure of one thing, no one was going to take Tara away from her again, no one! And Willow was sure of that. Willow did still feel bad about how she was with Kennedy after Tara, they did get pretty close. Willow didn’t think Tara was ever going to come back to her, if she would have known then like she does now, she doesn’t think she would have ever let Kennedy have her heart. Willow was ensure of whether she should dated her or not at the time too, to the point she became Warren. Willow should have listen to her instincts then, but it a little late for that now. Willow just hopes that Tara will never have to meet Kennedy, it might not be pretty sight for them at all. Kennedy had a certain way she talked to people she didn’t know, or like for that matter. Willow doesn’t think she needs to worry though, with the way Kennedy and Willow’s last phone conversation went, Willow doesn’t know if she will ever speak to her again. Which was perfectly fine with Willow. Willow wished it never would have happened between them at all. Willow knew when she gets back to Rome, she needs to make sure Kennedy stayed far far away. Then Willow heard Buffy asked someone to get the door, “Must be the pizza! Cool I’m starving” Willow said as she made her way down the stairs. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She sighed, pulling into the driveway of the house they were renting for the time being. She rolled her eyes at the ostentatious house that was on the outskirts of Mystic Falls. She knew that they needed privacy in case she ended up having more than just the four of them staying with them (which was a possibility if they were here longer than they anticipated) but it was still fairly ridiculous. The house was a dark brick color and it was huge. She looked at the paper that she had picked up at the rental company and her eyes widened when she saw the specs of the house. 5 Bedrooms, 4 ½ bathrooms, 4 car garage and over 7,000 square foot. It was ridiculous and she wondered if it was Dawn or Giles that picked out the house.
She knew both of them liked a lot of room but this house was just ridiculously large for the amount of people that were originally supposed to be living here. Granted, things were different now with Tara there, but still, she was sharing a room with Willow so it really didn’t matter room wise. She was glad that Tara was back, though she still wondered exactly the reasoning behind it. Either way she stayed out of it.
She sighed as she walked into the house, putting her purse down on the kitchen table. She wanted to fall into her bed and sleep for days…which was a ridiculous notion since she knew she had a ton of work to do the following day. She wished there was time to sleep for slayers, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be. She loved to sleep, and she used to be extremely good at the whole ‘sleeping’ thing…until she was called. Night times weren’t for sleeping as was for most people. Night times were for patrolling, fighting, staking, beheading, and day times were the times that she had to pretend to be normal. It was easier at the school, as she could sleep for a few hours as everyone knew she was out late the night before. There were even days she could take off of slaying and just relax as she wasn’t the only slayer. Unfortunately here it was a different story. She was the only slayer here…at least for the moment. It was up to her to protect another small town, something she had grown used to doing back in California. She wouldn’t lie and say that she hated it, because she didn’t. It felt routine, comfortable, safe….which was the last thing slaying really ever was.
She started trudging up the stairs but stopped right after she had made it up when she heard a knock on the door. She looked at the clock on her cell phone curiously and noted it was almost midnight. Who the hell would be knocking on her door at midnight? Okay, stupid question since anyone who actually knew who she was and who all resided there would be knocking on her door at midnight since everyone knew no one in this house slept…but it was the principle of the matter.
“Can someone grab that while I jump in the shower?” She called down, and hoped someone would do as she asked. She was not in the mood to deal with people tonight, and if it was someone she didn’t want to speak with, it wouldn’t be pretty. She was tired, cranky, and as luck would have it, she was also PMSing…
Not the best time to mess with a slayer…that she could very well tell you…and anyone who knew her…knew that it was the definite truth.
• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •Dawn had been in her room listening to music on the radio. Normally she listened to her Cd's but she had gotten bored with them and with the radio there was news to be heard and different stations to listen to. It was nice to have a choice in some things, such as the music one listens to. It was a nice night out and she was sure Buffy would be home any minute. If she staid home well that would be something new. Buffy always seemed busy at night which made since because she was the slayer after all. The 'true' slayer and that weighed a heavy price. With a small sigh she rolled over on her bed. Her feet on her wall and her head hanging off. all she did was look out the window.
Tara was now living in the house which was super nice in her opinion. Dawn loved Tara she was family in her eyes. Plus they got along so well you would expect them to be related some way. It was just nice to know that she was a live again, something no one thought would ever happen. Miracles do happen though like when Buffy was brought back after taking her life to save Dawn and the world. Something Dawn could have done because it was her own blood that caused the whole mess but Buffy did it because she was her older sister. That was a terrible time for Dawn. She shook her head not even wanting to remember that time, and all the things and problems she had gone through.
Before she knew it Buffy had walked in and was headed up the stairs. Of course when she got home someone... Or something was at the door as well. It was almost to be expected. It seemed as if everyone and everything followed Buffy just to bug her, which always seemed to be a mistake especially now with all the lack of sleep and the PMS and the so on and so forth. Rolling off her bed with a small thud as her feet hit the ground. She stretched and opened up her door. "I'll get it, maybe it is the pizza guy!" Dawn smiled as she raced down the stairs. She loved pizza but she had not order any sadly. They were probably closed anyways. But it was still a nice thought to have. Thinking about food, Dawn figured after who ever was at the door left she would make some food. Buffy was probably hungry to. She has been so busy and something nice and home cooked would be nice.
Mom always had home cooked meals for them, it was sad to think that she was no longer with them on earth. But Dawn tried to stay happy and keep everything positive. She didn't always feel positive but by keeping positive energy around it helped her and she was sure it helped others as well. Jumping off the last few steps she reached the front door, not really sure who to expect at this time of night. It wasn't like Angel was around at the moment. Her mind raced as she twisted the door knob and pulled open the door to show our mystery guest.
It was a whole new world for Tara at the boarding house. There were lots of people around… well… maybe not lots, but it felt like that to her. She had been use to being alone for most of both the day and night, but now there was activity all around her at all times during the day. Quite frankly, it was nice for Tara. She hadn’t realized how lonely she had been in Los Angeles. It had been quite taxing, being alone in such a large place.
It was pretty late and Tara was getting quite fidgety. She felt a little lost, with all sorts of activity going on around. It was a little odd, like she was an observer just watching a fish tank. It felt a little bit like before the Scoobies stuck up for her against her father, though it wasn’t entirely the same of course. Willow was here now and that did enough to calm her anxious nerves. It had only been one single day and she already felt like her new life had begun and that was something that she hadn’t felt, even after having been resurrected. There was still a level of tension in her own mind, mostly because of the questions she couldn’t bring herself to ask. Mostly, these were questions about the girl that Willow had become involved with after her death.
Tara had been searching for some things to make pancakes for a while, but she couldn’t find anything to use. She guessed that there hadn’t been a whole lot of shopping done since the crew had arrived in Mystic Falls, but Tara would be glad to take care of all of that. She never really minded the whole maintaining of the household. It was one of the things that she had enjoyed about living in her apartment, being able to cook and clean for herself.
Her stomach growled a bit as she was folding a blanket on the couch. It was good that they had ordered pizza because she had been way too excited and worked up to eat much of anything over the last couple of days. She was starving, so when she heard the knock at the door she assumed it was just the pizza delivery man. Folding the last blanket and tossing it on the top of the couch, Tara headed over to the door when she heard Buffy and Dawn calling back and forth. Too excited for food to stay in the living room, she stood behind Dawn as she opened the door. “Yay foo-“ She stopped midsentence when she saw that the girl at the door didn’t quite fit the bill for the usual kind of pizza delivery guy. “Sorry.” She smiled awkwardly as she looked over Dawn’s shoulder, “T-thought you were the pizza guy. D-dawnie, lets not make… lets not m-make her stand out in the d-dark.” Tara tried to smile more confidently, not really knowing who she was. A moment of panic ran through Tara, “But that wasn’t a-an invite. You k-know. “ She whispered into Dawn’s ear. “You know, if she’s a v-vampire.” Tara was a champion at making awkward situations.
---------------- [/b] ----------------[/b] Kennedy Marie Johnson smirked as she heard the doorbell sound inside the large house.
She had many friends in high places now that she had officially started working for powers that were greater than even the perfect little blonde slayer could comprehend, which meant that it was extremely easy to find the so called ‘Scooby Gang’. It wasn’t hard, though it was even easier when all it took was a phone call to the school to track her down…she would remind her darling mentor of that when she was ripping her to pieces.
She shook her head, making sure her inner thoughts weren’t showing on her face. She was still new to the whole secret agent spy deal, so she was still sort of learning the ropes for the role that she knew she must play. She didn’t want to hurt Willow, that was the one thing she had asked her bosses. She wouldn’t hurt her herself…she wouldn’t be able to do it. She could hurt her emotionally by killing everyone she ever loved, which was something she would rejoice in…but as for actually hurting her physically with her own hands, she wouldn’t be able to.
She could however deliver her to someone who would, and that was something she could easily do without breaking a sweat or feeling guilty at all. Guilt was an emotion she no longer recognized. She didn’t have a conscious anymore and she was glad to be rid of the pesky voice that used to tell her her thoughts and her actions were wrong.
She watched as the door was opened and a stuttering woman came to it mumbling something about a pizza guy. She knew immediately who this was. She almost laughed at the knowledge that this was who Willow preferred over her, but she kept the laugh inside, knowing it would not be prudent to let it out now. She heard Tara comment to Dawn about something and she peaked her head around. “Hey Dawn, how the hell are ya?” She asked, her smile almost evil, but it was one that she had always worn.
She had never liked the slayer’s sister…she saw her as weak…which she was in her mind. “And by the way, whoever you are, I’m not a vampire. I’m a slayer, so no invite necessary.” She stated as she pushed past her former lover’s lover and walked inside, not bothering to be polite…it wasn’t who she was.
“So, nice digs, want to tell me where my girlfriend is?” She asked with a smirk on her face.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow had made down the stairs and saw Tara and dawn by the door, Willow notices that they hesitated to open the door. Willow was then curious to see what was going on, “hey guys what is the deal, is the pizza man a vampire or something?. Its ok slay them and just take the pizza all ready, come on let him in I’m starving” After that Willow watched as Tara and Dawn open the door, Willow heard a familiar voice coming from outside. Willow then saw who it was as she came threw the door, It was Kennedy. What was she even doing here? This couldn’t be good at all Willow thought to herself, and she had the worst timing in the world to try and see Willow. Tara and Willow had just gotten back to together and they were still trying to spend time to together. Willow then walked over more in full view near the door, “Kennedy what are you even doing here!” Willow said with her arms crossed. “Kennedy for you information we are not dating anymore, we broke up remember. It was on the phone right before I left Rome, starting to ring a Bell now for you Kennedy.” Its not that Willow hated Kennedy, it just they weren’t working out anymore. Kennedy was really getting in to her slaying, and Willow had been busy teaching magic at the school. All thought Willow couldn’t lie she still wasn’t over Tara, even though it had almost been two years. Willow just couldn’t love another just yet, but she wouldn’t have to now she had her girl back for good. Willow was going to let anything come between them again, nothing! There had to be a reason that Kennedy was here, Willow didn’t really think it was to help more slayers, Kennedy was the type to really only care about herself. Buffy was going to be happy at all when ever she come down stairs, Kennedy always shows Buffy so much disrespect. Willow then walked over to the one she loved Tara, and put her arm around her. Willow felt bad she could tell poor Tara so lost. Willow then looked at Kennedy with a smirk on her face and said, “Kennedy I would like to introduce you to my girlfriend and the love of my life Tara, you remember me telling you about her. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -As she stepped in the shower she sighed in relief. The hot water felt amazing on her tense muscles. It had been a long few days and they were just getting longer it seemed. Their laptops hadn’t arrived yet which was stressful since they were here to find the potential (now it seemed there was more than one so technically potentials would be the correct term but still) and without their laptops they were just sitting here. She was getting restless and she hated feeling restless. She was also exhausted because of the restlessness she wasn’t sleeping and spending more time patrolling. It was a vicious cycle, one she would really like to get away from.
As she ran the soap through her hair her mind wandered. Last night hadn’t been a good night for her. Her dreams tended to always be filled with memories. Memories of Los Angles, Sunnydale, Rome. Good and bad memories that would forever be with her. Last night was nothing different, but the emotions that the dreams did. She woke up screaming after once again reliving part of the day that until she was brought back from heaven that she had no memory of.
I went to the oracles. I asked them to turn me back. What? Why? Because more than ever I know how much I love you. No. No you didn't. And if I stayed mortal one of us would wind up dead, maybe both of us. You heard what Morah said. Morah is dead. We killed him. He said others would come. They always come. And they always will. But that's my problem now, not yours remember? No, I wont stand by and let you fight, maybe die, alone. Then we fight together. You saw what happened last night. If anything I'm a liability to you. You take chances to protect me, and that's not just bad for you, it's bad for the people we were meant to help. So what? You just took a whole 24 hours to weigh the ups and downs of being a regular Joe and decided it was more fun being a superhero? You know that's not it. How can we be together if the cost is your life, or the lives of others? I know. I couldn't tell you. I wasn't sure - if I could do it if I woke up with you one more morning. I understand. - So, what happens now? The Oracles are giving us back the day, turning back time, so I can kill Morah before his blood makes me mortal. When? Another minute. A minute! No! It's not enough time! We don't have a choice, it's done. How am I supposed to go on with my life? Knowing what we had? What we could have had? You won't. No one will know but me. Everything we did. It never happened. It did. It did. I know it did. I felt your heart beat. Buffy... No! Oh god, it's not enough time. Shh, please. Please. Please Please. No, I'll never forget. I'll never forget. I'll never forget. I'll never forget.
It always ended with her waking up screaming that she’d never forget. She hated and loved that dream all in one. Loved because it reminded her of the amount of love that Angel had for her…that he would turn back time to keep her safe. She hated it because it was something that she would never experience again and she felt cheated because she didn’t get any say in whether Angel gave away his humanity or not.
Before she knew it she was finished in the shower and turned it off. She stepped out and quickly threw on a pair of comfortable jeans and a cami, knowing that she wasn’t at all tired any longer. She heard a commotion going on downstairs and quickly threw the brush down that she had just ran through her hair and ran downstairs. “What’s going on down her-“ she started but then saw Kennedy.
She wouldn’t lie, Kennedy had never been her favorite person. She acted way too much like Faith for comfort but for Willow’s sake she bit her tongue. “Kennedy, what exactly are you doing here?” She asked, her arms crossed over her chest in a defensive pose. She never trusted the brunette girl and she wasn’t about to start now.

It was none other than the faith wanna-be, Kennedy. Dawn did not like her, she got bad feelings when she was around not to mention she was a total bitch to not only herself but to Buffy and some others though she had her weak spot for Willow. Dawn scoffed as she stood there not even wanting to invite her in. What Dawn really wanted to do was slam the door in her face, but she couldn't, she was sure Buffy would want to talk to her or maybe stake her in the chest... OK so one can only hope.
Kennedy didn't even wait to get invited in she just shoved her way through like she owned the place. Dawn shut the door kind of loudly behind her. Dawn didn't want to say anything because she really didn't want to start something. She knew Buffy was having a bad day, not to mention Tara had pretty much just gotten here. Oh no! Tara! This must be hard for her, Willows lover and ex lover all in one room. Dawn was sure something would happen now. some of the girls in this house were hot tempered and when put together you normally got a fire. Dawn sighed as she waited for her sister to come down stairs. Buffy would handle it, she always did... It was her job, especially since Kennedy was in fact a slayer.
It didn't take too long for Buffy to make her way down stairs, and the look on her face said it all. She was not pleased, just like everyone else in the house. "You should make this quick, we have better things to do." Dawn crossed her arms and leaned against the wall, she wasn't going anywhere. Not as long as Kennedy was there. What ever brought her here was not going to end well. Than again things can change and people can be surprising although Dawn was doubtful for this particular time. With Buffy having a bad day not to mention PMS not even the biggest, baddest villain would want to mess with her right now. It would be very interesting, at least Dawn thought so.

Tara’s mind was thrown for a loop when she heard that the woman was looking for her girlfriend. She didn’t know who she was, and it was kind of confusing, since there really wasn’t many options in the house for someone to be looking for. “G-girlf-friend?” She hesitated for a moment, but then it clicked in her head. Kennedy. It rang in her head like a broken record. Why now? Tara asked herself silently. Why her? It was indeed horrible timing, as she had just found Willow again.
She couldn’t really speak as she looked the girl up and down. It was obvious why Willow might be attracted to Kennedy. She was fit and pretty, but her attitude seemed to be lacking… well, the ability to have social interactions. She came off as rude as she pushed her way past Dawn and into the house and in her conversations. That was something that just really irritated Tara, but she was too nervous to ever say anything to Kennedy herself.
Tara was starting to feel particularly self conscious about if she was good enough for Willow after seeing Kennedy for the first time. She was always shy, but now that she had seen her, it brought forth a level of insecurity that Tara wasn’t entirely used to. She didn’t know if she could ever protect Willow like Kennedy could, or if she was attractive enough, or if she could ever live up to expectations. It made her sick to her stomach to think about.
Tara didn’t yet know enough about the motives behind Kennedy showing up at the slayer house in Mystic Falls, so she tried her best to hold back tears and treat her like any other person, but when Willow came by her side, she was shaking a little bit as Willow addressed Kennedy. She didn’t feel like she should even speak, mostly because she didn’t trust herself to maintain her composure. Willow’s words reassured her, but anxiety still lingered. She almost smiled at Dawn’s near dismissal of the other girl. It was nice to hear that both her and Buffy disliked the girl almost as much as she did, but some part of Tara did feel bad for Kennedy. If she had been in her shoes, losing Willow to someone else would be extremely painful. It was odd, but she felt some sort of empathy for Kennedy.
Tara cleared her throat awkwardly and steadied herself. “N-nice to mmeet you K-Kennedy.” She looked at the other girl a little nervously and offered her hand. “No need to be so s-standoffish. We just ordered p-pizza. It should be here s-soon.” She smiled weakly at the girl, not sure if the others would be angry at her attempt to be congenial with Kennedy.

[/b] ----------------[/b] Kennedy Marie Johnson was enjoying this way too much. She saw the looks on the faces of those who apparently lived here. She could tell not one of them was actually happy to see her. Willow looked like she wanted to throw up, though that was definitely okay with her. She would teach her to screw over a slayer---and a powerful slayer at that. Willow might be all strong and powerful when it came to witchcraft, but Kennedy knew her weakness. Willow couldn’t perform a whole lot of magic without it trying to turn her evil---and she would definitely use that to her advantage when it came time to put her plans into actions---well, the plans of those she served. Kennedy heard her former lover’s voice and she wanted to laugh out loud but she refrained, instead putting on a pained expression, one that she hoped was believable. “What are you talking about baby? We didn’t break up. We had a fight and we said we should take a little break. I don’t mean to go all Ross and Rachel on you but I don’t believe that constitutes as a break up…especially since we were so good together.” She told her, walking up and running her hand down Willow’s arm. She ignored the fact that Willow had moved to stand near Tara with an arm around her---though she did had to comment on the fact that she was alive. She didn’t want to come right out and ask how, but she hoped that they were all stupid (as they had always been in her opinion) and would tell her without her having to ask for the information. “Willow, people don’t just come back to life. I think we need to get you out of here, you’re starting to believe things that cannot be true.” She told her, simply ignoring Tara for now. She turned her attention to the stairs as the blonde slayer walked down them. She wouldn’t show her respect---she never had before. “I’m here because I heard there were potentials here and since I am a fully qualified slayer who does go by the handbook, I thought I could help.” She stated, throwing a small dig at the slayer about how unorthodox she was. Kennedy ignored what Dawn said, not wanting to even try to acknowledge her. She had bigger plans for the pipsqueak and it would not do any good to show how interested in Dawn that Kennedy really was. She knew if she even acknowledged the slayer’s sister she would set off red flags, so ignoring her was the best thing to do. She heard a stutter and wanted to laugh her ass off, though she refrained. She heard Tara say it was nice to meet her and that they were ordering pizza. “Uh…I just came to talk to my girlfriend…not to have a god damn reunion…so can I have some privacy please or do I need to come back when Willow is alone?” She asked, the look on her face not even remotely friendly any longer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Willow didn’t know what do to, all she knew was that right now more then anything, she wanted to be with Tara and no one else. But of course as always something had to come along and mess up a good thing for Willow, nothing could ever just be perfect for her ever. When Kennedy ran her hand down Willow’s, she pushed it off of her and said “Kennedy I know we said we were talking a break, but you and I hadn’t talk in a while and then I left Rome. Look I just thought that it was over, and Kennedy clearly it didn’t work out much with me and you.” It was more then just Willow having trouble loving another, Willow was staring to not be able to stand the way Kennedy was anymore. She was becoming a different person now as well, it was almost like that she was letting the power of being a slayer over come her, it was a lot like with what happened to Faith. Great that was the last thing the gang really needed right now, another Faith situation. It really hurt Willow to that she was acting like this, Willow had always know Kennedy to be some what of a controlling woman, But Willow didn’t think it would ever become to be this bad. That Part of the reason Willow came to love her, it was because of her taking charge telling Willow to try to move on, and that it was ok to love another. Willow wishes now she would have never listen to her, but who would have thought Tara would be home to the gang again. Willow was really staring to get flustered with the things she was saying to her friends, she now starting to take things way to far. Saying that Tara couldn’t really be here from the dead, and now picking on Buffy, this was the last straw and Willow was starting to get pissed now. Willow looked at Kennedy with anger in eyes and said “Kennedy I think you need to leave this house now! I’m sorry to tell you this but Tara is really here and I love her and that wont change! As for Buffy she doesn’t need your help in finding the potentials, and if she does she got us for that. You know if you could have came in this house like adult and wanted to talk, sure ok maybe we could have done that! But now I’m just plan pissed off, So I’m sorry there will be no talking alone, It is over Kennedy it has been for awhile now, you are not the same person anymore.” Willow knew she needed to try and calm down, the last thing she really needed was to get so mad that her magic went crazy and her eyes turned black. It was something she never really want to happen again, and she really didn’t want Tara to have to see it either. After Willow was done venting and saying all that, she held Tara’s hand tighter, letting her know how much she loved her. It also was what was keeping Willow calm and not going to crazy, knowing Tara was there and lover her is what was keeping Willow grounded. - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She saw the look on Dawn’s face…it was a look that said she wanted the woman in front of her gone. She saw the protective stance that Willow took in front of Tara…and the way that her eyes never left the woman in front of her. Someone else might take this to believe that Willow while with Tara still wanted Kennedy, which was definitely not the case. One look in Willow’s eyes and she could see the anger, the hatred, and fire in her eyes that spoke of only bad things happening to someone who even tried to interfere with her and Tara’s relationship. She knew that she herself felt the same way. Tara and Willow deserved any happiness that they could get and a whiny spoiled brat like Kennedy was definitely not going to interfere with that…not while she still was alive and kicking. She would make damn sure of that.
She heard Dawn’s comment about having better things to do and she shot her a look. She knew that Dawn was just speaking the truth and she was fine with that as she wasn’t Kennedy’s biggest fan, but she didn’t want Dawn to elaborate on what they were doing here. She knew that she wouldn’t but felt the need to reiterate it with a look. She didn’t want Kennedy in any part of their mission in Mystic Falls and if anyone would be the one to tell her any information that was needed it would be Buffy.
She rolled her eyes at Kennedy’s comment about the handbook. She desperately wanted to pummel some sense into this kid but she refrained…for the moment at least. Tara seemed to be more skittish that she had used to be…at least when she had been around them…so she didn’t want to scare her or anything if she could help it. She also knew that Kennedy was strong, fast, and was unpredictable. She had no doubt in her mind that while Kennedy might be tough, in the end she would still win, but it wouldn’t be a nice fight and Buffy would definitely walk away with some bruises…so she really didn’t fancy getting into a fight with the brunette at the moment…though she would if she had too.
Her defensive posture didn’t ease up and her eyes still followed the girl in front of her every time she even breathed. She wanted to keep her in sight at all times. Something felt wrong about her. Granted, she’d be the first to admit that she had never cared for Kennedy and had never gotten a real good vibe about her…even the first time she walked into her home with Giles, Annabelle and Molly…but this was different. Something felt sinister…evil…and unfortunately familiar. She felt like Faith did when she started working for the mayor and she made a mental note to call her sister slayer later and relay the news to her. She knew Faith wouldn’t fall off the band wagon again…she wasn’t sure why but she knew that…so she knew this information could be trusted with her.
“Giles wouldn’t send you here…especially not when we really don’t need another fully qualified slayer since we have The Slayer here. So again, why are you really here?” She asked again, and this time her eyes dared the younger girl not to give her an answer. She’d get pummeled if she didn’t and her eyes shown with the truth that it would definitely come to pass if she didn’t stop speaking in circles and tell them what they wanted to know.
She opened her mouth to say something else but Willow apparently took care of it as she spewed out a bunch of stuff. The blonde slayer walked over to her best friend and put her hand on her shoulder, though her body still angling to where she could make sure to beat Kennedy if she tried to come at Willow, Tara or Dawn. “Wills, it’s cool. Chill.” She told her, squeezing her shoulder before leaning over and doing the same to Tara. Her and Tara had never been really close, though she had loved the girl like a sister in the end. She wanted her to know that they all supported her and Willow’s relationship and would tell her later how much she had always disliked Kennedy.
“Kennedy I agree with Willow. Leave…you’re not welcome here. And I will be speaking with Giles as well as your watcher about you leaving your post to come here. You’re supposed to be in Los Angeles running things there…not jumping from state to state and showing up here when you are clearly not needed. If I EVER need your help…which most likely won’t happen…but if I do…I will be the one to ask for it…you do not come and offer if because it will usually always be denied. Now go back to your post and stay there unless you are asked by myself or Giles to come and help. Is that understood?” She asked, her voice rang out with authority. She wasn’t playing these games any longer and she’d make damn sure everyone around her knew it.

Dawn wouldn't tell anyone anything about what they do especially Kennedy, the one person who truly did treat her like a child. which annoyed her greatly. Dawn has grown stronger and faster with the help of Buffy. Not to mention more knowledgeable thanks to Willow whom she studies with. Dawn would always observe Willow when she was doing her magic or aid her when she could. Dawn was always one for learning and she was a rather fast learner at that.
Dawn watched as everyone but Tara was telling Kennedy to leave and well she agreed with them all. No one wanted her around plus she was suppose to be at her post not Buffy's post. Dawn let out a sigh, Kennedy was stubborn and mean. But she was curious to the real reason she was here. It wasn't because Giles sent her, they would have head about it and as far as Dawn knew Buffy and the gang here had everything under control.
Dawn was getting tired of the games as well. this had been dragged out long enough in her opinion, she walked over to the door "Let me get that for you." her voice was sassy as she opened up the door for Kennedy. Dawn was telling her to leave and that she wasn't welcome without actually saying anything. It's not like she would have to everyone already has. It pleased Dawn to see Kennedy treated like that although she wouldn't admit to it. It was almost sad though how Kennedy acted, she was like a faith except worse and well Faith is back on their side which is nice, but still.
Dawn thought how this must be affecting Tara who hasn't even been here that long yet. It was hard to watch on Dawns end. The faster Kennedy left the better it would be for everyone. Dawn stood her post at the door waiting for Kennedy to leave. She almost wanted to just shove her out but she knew that would only cause a fight and well it seemed as if no one was really in the mood for a fight, although she was sure everyone was ready if needed. It would be a bad idea though it would be everyone against Kennedy which isn't a really fair fight.

The whole situation that they were all locked in was growing more and more frustrating by the minute. She had tried to be nice and friendly with Kennedy, even though she would have rather let everyone pounce on her as soon as she walked through the door. Tara wanted to give her a chance, but she was just so rude. Who was she to decide whether she would be alive or not? Tara’s fists balled up, and she held back tears as best as she could.
The girl was starting to seem less and less likely to go about anything in a kind or rational manner, so Tara pretty much gave up on trying to be kind and welcoming with her. It wasn’t like she wanted a confrontation with her. That could only lead to her own demise, even though she had a pretty good idea that Buffy would jump on her if she ever tried something. At least everyone hated her and knew she was a little piece of… rudeness.
Tara didn’t think that she could ever dislike a human being as much as she did her father. He was able to incite anger inside of her that she never felt otherwise, but now it seemed to be rising in her with Kennedy standing before her. It must have been a mixture of jealousy and hatred because it seemed to have a different flavor than when she saw her father.
Kennedy’s kept on referring to Willow as her girlfriend, even though it was quite clear that they had been ended. “Kennedy.” She swallowed, doing her best to speak more confidently; the girl was obviously garnering confidence because she came across as so scared. “If you can’t say what you need to say in front of all of us, I’m sure it’s not worth it even being said.” She glared at her, still scared, but Buffy’s touch reassured her feelings that she was safe from Kennedy and she really appreciated that. “Willow.” She whispered softly into her ear, afraid that she might lose her cool by her tone and body language. “It’s alright. Come back to me.” Her thumb traced a circle over the top of Willow’s hand, trying to let her have something else to concentrate on.
“I know you must be h-hurting.” She slipped in her speech for a moment. “But there is no reason to c-cause a scene or more pain. If you can’t c-control yourself I think I agree that you might want to leave. It’s in your best interest. And I won’t be leaving her side at any time. Don’t even think that for a second.” Her eyes grew hard as she stood alongside Willow, holding her arm and hand defensively. No one was going to take her away. Especially not this slayer brat.
