» The first thing I want to make clear is that this site goes by all the shows...not the comics, not the books, the shows.
» Please only one character per account.
» We are very strict on activity here. If you have not posted for 5 Days your account will be switched over to inactive. You will receive ONE PM that tells you that you have three days to post before being deleted. If your character goes 3 more days without posting so 8 days without posting, you're account will be deleted and the claims will be freed up. Only exception to this rule is if you have an away message up.
» We do have a strict system here. If your character goes inactive 4 times that character will be deleted. The staff does keep a record of how many times a character is placed inactive and a warning will be given at your third time.
» You must claim your celebrity, as soon as you get accepted! If you do not, you will not be allowed to start RPing.
» There will be absolutely NO advertising in your Signatures, Avatars or in the c-box. The advertisement boards are there for a reason. If I find that you have sent someone an advertisement by PM or in the C-box, then your account will be deleted and your IP address blocked from the site and the C-box. This also means that we do not want to see others talking about other sites in the C-box. It’s not fair to the admins of this site who have worked so hard on it.

» There is no such thing as perfect characters. All characters have flaws. No character is impossibly beautiful, all powerful, or invincible. Yes I realize there are characters that are awesome, but EVERYONE HAS FLAWS. We do NOT want a bunch of Mary Sues or Gary Stu’s running around. Be original people. Mmkay?
» When making an OC please make sure that it is actually an original character. I do not want to see someone using Danielle Radcliffe and trying to make a version of Harry Potter that will fit with the site. It will not be accepted.
» Please try to keep the gender ration somewhat even. This means if you have three characters, all three of them cannot be girls...at least one of them needs to be a guy.
» When picking out a pb(playby) to use, please pick someone with a known name. Be respectful (and realistic) and use someone who has put his/her self out there. (In other words, pick a celebrity, none of these myspace, facebook, youtube people). This means that if your playby is not well known for something (famous singer, actress, etc.) You will be asked to change it. I'll even accept models as long as you have their REAL names and a link to their PROFESSIONAL website (so I can verify they are truly models). Also no cartoon characters for playbys...all must be human and famous...enough said.
» Be realistic! Do NOT try and make a 30 year old playing a 15 year old...it wouldn't happen.
» You have three days upon joining to post your application. You have an additional two days after posting a WIP application to finish it. All applications and accounts that go over this deadline will be deleted.
» You must be approved before you can start RPing. After you are accepted by an admin you must then go fill out the face claim and the member directory before starting to role play.
» Place your application under "Pending Applications", the admins will move it where it needs to be, when they feel the need to do so.
» Upon being accepted you have 3 days to get a post up. This does not mean you can post a cell phone page, or post in the games. This means you have three days to begin posting role play posts or else you will be given one warning. If a post is not put up within 24 hours of the warning, your account will be deleted and claims will be freed up.
» Please make sure if you're making an original character that it has been MENTIONED in one of the shows (I.E. When making an original you cannot make a species that hasn't been mentioned on one of the shows). Also, find a way to incorporate your character into the site or else you'll be struggling with getting RPs.

»RP posts need to be very descriptive and detailed. The minimum word count limit is 250 words. This means that every post you make on this site (role play wise) has to be at least 250 words.
»Before posting in any of the games or OOC stuff please make sure that your claims are done, graphics are up and that you've at least posted your first post.
»Please Note. If a character is human on one of the shows, they will stay that way on the site. The only way a canon can be turned into another being (werewolf, vampire, etc.) is if it is cleared by the staff. Most likely the only way it will be cleared by the staff is if it has happened on one of the show. If a staff member finds out that this is in the works without permission we reserve the right to revoke the character.
»You must be in at least 1 active thread at a time. Please note that the admins do keep track of this so if you're not in any threads, we will speak with you.
» If you are a vampire...please note you MUST GET PERMISSION FROM THE STAFF before having a witch make a daylight ring or necklace or bracelet or anything of the sort. THESE ARE RARE!
» We do have a limit at BP of how many characters you may play as not to hog all the characters. A member is allowed to play 4 characters. Once you have hit your limit of four characters you may ask the admins if you can make more. The admins are pretty easy going for the most part but if the characters you have now are not being posted with then you'll be asked to give up a character or two before making a new one.
» Limit hogging the 'main' canons. I.E. Please do not try to apply for Buffy Summers, Willow Rosenberg, and Xander Harris. You will be asked to pick between the three. Anyway, it’s no fun RPing with yourself. You can however apply for Buffy Summers, Damon Salvatore and Dean Winchester...just try to limit the hogging of the main canons from the same show.
» Remember that this is an intermediate rpg. Please have good length posts. Be considerate of the other people pumping out seven paragraphs. If you can't keep up then perhaps it is too advanced for you. Remember that the minimum is 250 words per post, no exceptions! Oh and it must be 250 words without coding. (I do not want someone coming to me saying their post is 500 words, where they have 400 words of codes and only 100 word RP post).
» Another point on our word count, if your going to copy what your RP partner said and put it in your post, that's great, but don't think it's going to count towards your word count. You must post at least 250 of your own words!!
» Use the spell check that it is provided please, it’s just one click before you post that makes a huge difference.
» No muse? That’s a tired excuse. Just write through it. It will come back. Or if you must, give that character up. If you never have muse, then it was not meant to be. Or maybe it's time for a break. Step away for a week, then come back and see how it goes. (Don't forget to post in the away thread)
» Plot boards are there, so use them!!
» Label your posts, whether its open or your posting with someone in mind then state it in the title. (Also if its PG-13, make sure its known in both the title and the post itself!)
» Threads that are inactive for more than ten days will be locked and sent to the archives. (They may be reactivated by talking with an admin.)
» No godmoding. "Fred shot Tom and Tom died." is godmoding and godmoding is evil. If you must godmod, I won’t like it, but make sure you ask that person first by PM or something. Then in your post write ((Godmod with permission by ___)). Kind of deal, just so we know it’s alright with the other RPer.
» Role playing shall be done in Third person IE: using 'he', 'she', 'it' and 'they'. Same goes for your application.
» We are a canon site...so please be respectful of that. If you're canon character wants to ship with another canon character from another show, please PM an admin first. This could potentially ruin a few plots in the event that we have the partner to the real canon ship...so please make sure before making ships that are not canon you speak with an admin.

» Posts can only be up to a rating for a PG-13. In accordance to proboards rules, we must keep it that way.
» Violence, and drugs are permitted(to an extent). But please be respectful in our OOC threads.
» Please don't get graphic in your posts, it's unnecessary and we get the general idea! Once the clothing starts to come off, I think it’s a good time to skip ahead. Don't you?
» Please be realistic when it comes to pregnancies. If 4/5 of your characters gets pregnant the staff will jump in. Also if your character is a different species other than human, you need to speak with the staff before attempting any pregnancies.
» IMPORTANT::: This site is 15 and over. You may not join and RP if you are under 15 years of age. BY MAKING AN ACCOUNT your agreeing to being OVER 15 years old.

» Any signature that stretches the board out will be removed.
» Don't make the signature too large height wise, I don't want to scroll down half the page to see the next post. If I think it’s too large, A single PM will be send out. If you do not change it in a timely manner (you will have a few days), then it will be deleted without a second warning.
» You might want to highlight the rules -slowly- to find what your really looking for. You will need it for your character creation. Hint: It's in the lower half. If you look above Sexual Content you've gone too far.

» No naked people or pornography in the pictures please.
» Try and keep avatars 100x100, it just makes things look neater.
» Please have your avatar and signature relevant to your character, not something completely random.
» Please do not have animations on your signatures, avatars or posting templates. Some members have slower computers and it makes the site load slow.
» Signatures and Avatars are there to show off your PB. So we require you to have them both BEFORE starting to role play. We have a graphics admin for a reason, so ask them if you need help.
» Please make sure to have some sort of posting layout to spice up your posts. It also helps while reading your role play to have an image in the readers head. If you need help, head over to our graphics board and post a request.
» If you're having trouble finding avatars or signatures that are appropriate, pm an admin for help or post on the graphics board and someone should be more than willing to help out.
