Catelle sighed, "Katherine is a different person from the Katerina I knew. The girl I knew was innocent and made some mistakes, she had a good heart. Katherine isn't that girl any more; if she were, she would have been dead a long time ago. I couldn't tell you if you can trust her Ruby. I'm not ever certain that I could, not now. She seems to be doing whatever it takes to survive according to rumor." Her frown deepened. She didn't exactly expect a warm welcome from Katherine when she saw her and she wasn't even certain the damage Klaus had done would be repairable after all this time.

"Drinks would be nice, I have to warn you though I don't know about demons; but vampires can really pack away the liquor. It helps curb our cravings if you know what I mean. Bars and Grills tend to be a wealth of information, my plan is to say that I'm a distant cousin of Elena's and friends with Elijah, perhaps more. We'll see what I come up with. I'll dig up what I can on your Dean as well." she winked at Ruby.

Catelle thought to her one meeting with Damon and shook her head, "I haven't yet figured out what makes Damon so much more dangerous. He is though, I would never underestimate him. As for accomodations, once I find Elijah I would have to speak with him first to invite you to his place in town where ever that is. Otherwise I can compell a bank manager into agreeing to allow you to stay in a nice foreclosure in exchange for supervising it being fixed up and making it sellable."

What Catelle was telling her was good to know, but it didn’t matter Ruby wasn’t going to full on trust her ether way. Katherine was interesting person and it might be a good idea for the future to keep her on Ruby’s good side, never know when she might need help from a Vampire. Ruby did like Catelle but was still a little uneasy about her being an original and all. After all this talk Ruby had needed a another beer, so she walked over open up her cooler and got out another beer, She then asked “ would you like another one? Come on get drunk with me or can vamps even get drunk?” keep her drunk and in a good mood might be good for Ruby’s case, make it easy for her to tell her more info.

“Well sometimes Demons can get drunk if we drink enough, but yeah us Demons can really put it way as well. I’m not going to lie I myself I love to drink” Ruby said to Catelle with a laugh as she kicked back a drink of her beer. “but yeah we for sure should hit up that bar together soon, maybe we will find out more on them while we are there. Then Ruby wondered as she told her about being invited in, did vampires have to be asked to come in? “so wait a minute a person has to say you can come in before you can? Wow that must suck for you sometimes.” Ruby said to her. That was one thing Ruby didn’t have to for sure worry about which was nice, it would drive her crazy if that was the some for Demons.

Catelle smiled politely, "No thanks and that cooler couldn't hold enough beer to get me drunk. Beers you really have to slam constantly for a while to get a vamp drunk off of. Everything seems to be enhanced about us including processing alcohol. Trying to get drunk is hard on the wallet, for those of us who have to worry about such things. Thankfully that's not an issue for me." Ruby did seem like a fun person to hang out with, Catelle had to give her that much. The whole destruction of humanity and vengence thing bothered her a bit however. Not that aiming for Klaus wasn't at least mildly vengeful, but there was a greater good involved in going after him as well. She supposed Ruby felt the same way.

Sighing she sat back down on the hood of the car, "Enough about my kind for right now. Why such the bad vibe between humans and demons? I mean most vampires see them in the light that wolf see sheep in, there's some who are still in touch with their humanity, but most just a food source. The hunters I'm not so much a fan of, but I'm not a big fan of killing unless necessary either. As long as they're in the dark I don't have any issues. I'm just curious that's all."

She rested her arms on her knees deciding honesty would be the best policy. She had no clue how powerful Ruby or her master were. There was really no point in trying to cover up her feelings on the subject. Afterall she hadn't kept her thoughts about Klaus' plan a secret to Elijah, even when they were aligned. She'd agreed to help out of duty to her adopted family and nothing more. But really lifting that curse meant nothing good for anyone in the long run.

Ruby was enjoying talking and hanging with Castelle, Ruby liked her company a lot and they had good conversation. Kind of like she did with Katherine, which in away it was funny that they had knew each other. Ruby then took another drink of her beer, trying very hard to get some what drunk. Which sometimes can be very hard for a Demon too. Ruby had needed to try some what to relaxed, she has been on this endless hunt for Dean. Which was not that fun on her part, but it was something she was sticking with doing. Ruby wasn’t going to allow herself to give up just this yet, she knew she would find him. Even if some lives had to die to do it, Ruby didn’t really care at this point.

So many things Dean had taking from her, one thing especially that really pissed her off was the fact that Dean still had her knife. From the day that Dean stabbed her with it, was the last time she really had seen it. It had be so long she couldn’t recall that last time she got to kill someone with it. All she knew was that was the first thing she was going to do when she found Dean, she was going to take that knife and carve in to him like a thanksgiving turkey. Ruby couldn’t wait to make Dean feel the pain that she had felt, even thought it didn’t kill her it still didn’t feel like a bed of roses.

Anyway it was getting late and Ruby was ready to turn it, hopefully Catelle knew a place that they could maybe get some rest. So Ruby asked her “So Catelle it is getting late you know any good places to crash, I’m getting really sick of the cheap motels. So I might go were you are going if it is someplace good.”

Catelle sighed heavily, "I've been staying at the bed and breakfast, which I have had more than enough of. I'll probably venture out to try and find where Elijah is staying tomorrow. The only other real option is compelling someone to let us in to stay with them. The problem is people in this town are full of vervain and it can be difficult to tell which ones have it which keeps me from compelling them. With the already suspicious I'm hesitant to try so I think I'll just go to the B & B, my things are there anyway that I'd need to collect tomorrow. So unless you have any ideas."

Ruby seemed nice enough, at least to Catelle. She got the feeling Ruby likely wasn't so nice to humans, for now she'd just wait and find out for herself. Getting up off the car she looked around. It was a quiet night, which was a good thing. Catelle really wasn't in the mood to put up with any trouble tonight and was just grouchy enough that she might go so far to consider ripping out the heart of anyone trying to bring trouble her way.

She dreaded going back to the floral wallpaper in her room at the B&B, but she really didn't have much of a choice, at least not tonight. It was late and had been a long day for her. Not to mention she had a full stomach which was making her a bit sleepy.

Ruby was starting to get tired and was in desperate need for some rest, she was then staring to think that maybe she should just let Catelle go back to her room on her own. She even seemed like she needed to go get some sleep as well. Ruby was pissed and annoyed as well still, with not being able to find Dean. She needed find him, get her knife and kill his ass, lord knows she needed to blow off some steam. She was so sick of the this cat and mouse game that it felt like she was playing. This town wasn’t even that big, how hard could it really be to find his ass.

Ruby rolled her eye before look over at Catelle and said “hey I will contact you to sometime soon we can go out for that drink I’m going to buy you, Ok later I’m tired and I have some errands to do, then off to my room to bed.” Ruby then opened the door to her Mustang, got in and started up the engine. She took off really fast as she speeded off. Ruby didn’t mean to leave like that and look mad, But with everything right now and not having any luck finding Dean she was annoyed with everything. She would meet up with Catelle again sometime real soon, she did like her and had fun chatting with her. But Ruby needed to rest right now, and first thing tomorrow go right back out and find Dean. That was the only thing that was on her mind right now!
