----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler walked up to his father's grave with a flower in his hands. Why had this gotten this flower again? It wasn't like his father had actually liked flowers while he was alive, but it had just seemed like the right thing to do. From what he understood, people bringing flowers to someone's grave meant that you had cared about the person and wanted to honor them. Though he wasn't sure how putting a flower near someone's headstone honored them, he'd do it for his dad. Yeah, he was getting weird. But he did have a reason for visiting his father's grave. He needed to get all of his thoughts out and he didn't really have anyone to talk to. So Mason's grave it was then. Not that his father had been one to listen a person talk about their feelings, but hey, maybe it'd work. With a sigh he knelt down and stared at the tombstone that had his father's information on it. "Hey Dad. Uh---yeah, I'm not really sure what to say here," he admitted. "Mom's doing okay. She misses you...so do I," he continued. And he did. They may have had their differences, but he had still been his father. "I guess I---I need some advice on what to do about Caroline," he said. "I mean, I really screwed up with her dad. I broke the Sire-bond like I planned and then I lied to her and told her that it couldn't be broken. She hates me now. And she thinks that I'm shacking up with some other girl, which is probably would've done before all this crap started, but...I thought it was for the best, but now...I don't know," he admitted. Had this all just been a really bad mistake? He just didn't know. Suddenly, he heard faint footsteps and in an instant, he was on his feet, his whole body tensed and ready for action. Who else was in here? He had chosen the late hour so that no one would see him, but maybe his presence had caught attention of the groundskeeper or something. And there was no saying whether or not they were full of Vervain so compelling them would be iffy at best, though he supposed he could always use the "Mayor's kid" card. "Who's here?" he demanded. -----------------------

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - Axe in hand, knife in boot, stake in waistband. Faith was ready. For what, she hadn't a clue. But she was ready for anything that came at her. Leaving the kiddo's at home she was on a solo patrol that night. She wasn't much of a team player anyways. More so nowadays than in the past, but still, not much. She didn't work well with others. Never had - and she wasn't really a fan of it. The brunette had changed a lot since getting out of prison (for which she was still wanted for, by the way) but old habits died hard. Or never died at all, rather.
The axe was light, the tip wooden for vampires. She could swing the thing around faster than someone could blink. It'd quickly become one of her favorites - though she still also loved an old fashioned crossbow too. Shit, even a simple stake was nice a lot of the time.
Walking past one of the larger mausoleums in the cemetery, she heard the familiar crunching of leaves nearby. Immediately her senses perked up to find the noise - only, she hadn't been expecting what came next. She definitely hadn't been expecting the thing to be on top of her. It jumped down from the mausoleum and landed directly on top of her. Both of them slammed to the ground, the axe being thrown several feet away. Her eyes lifted up to the see the thing - about six feet tall, dark, forest green in color, two horns on top of its head and a gnarly set of teeth. Awesome.
Bringing her knee up she knocked it in the midsection enough to slip away from it, rolling several feet away and pulling herself onto her feet. In one swift motion she'd pulled the axe up into her hands as well, swinging and cutting it in the chest as it'd caught up with her. It made a loud screeching noise and decided it didn't want to finish the fight apparently. It turned and took off in the opposite direction. Sort of shocked and disappointed, she stared at it for a moment before taking off after it.
It didn't take long to catch it and as she did - she also saw the boy standing just several feet away from her and the demon. As it swung, she ducked and raised back up slicing it's head off. The head rolled off to the side and smacked against the boy's feet. Faith tilted her head, looking down to the demon's head, and then up to the boy. "Well....hey." She said awkwardly. It wasn't everyday she smacked a demon's head against a civilians shoes.

----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler wasn't quite sure what was going on, but he could hear the sound of fighting. Should I get involved in that? he wondered. Whatever it was, it sounded pretty bad. But he couldn't be sure if someone needed his help. And if someone needed his help, he should definitely come to their aid. But what if they didn't? What if it was just a normal fight that didn't require Supernatural help and he accidentally hurt someone? He wouldn't be able to live with himself if that happened. He didn't want to hurt anyone. Well, he supposed there was only one way to find out. He took a few steps forward and then paused as a woman and some of---he had no idea what---came bounding up. What the hell is going on? he wondered, staring at the scene. Whatever the thing was it was six feet tall, was green and had two horns. What the hell is that? he thought to himself as he felt his features changing as he prepared to fight the threat. Well, whatever it was, it sure was ugly. And it looked and sounded mean. Really mean. Which meant that whoever was fighting it probably needed help. However, it appeared that his first impression was wrong and that he wouldn't need to fight as he watched as the woman expertly attacked the thing, slicing off its head. Tyler jumped slightly as the head rolled towards his feet. "What the hell is going on in this town now?" he wondered, as he forced his features to return to normal. Damn, this town is getting weirder by the minute, he thought to himself. First it was vampires, werewolves, and witches, then it was Hybrids, and now it was apparently whatever this thing was. He glanced at the head and grimaced. "Please tell me that there's not more of those things," he said. That thing didn't look all that appealing and he wasn't really looking forward to running into another creature that looked like that. It was just disgusting. Besides, if the fight he had just witnessed was anything to go by, he wasn't sure if he would have the necessary strength needed to fight it, even if he was a Hybrid. He then looked at the girl as she greeted him somewhat awkwardly. "Hi," he greeted back. "I'm guessing you don't usually ruin into other people when you're fighting things like this," he stated, gesturing to the head with his foot. "So, what was it anyway? Some sort of whacked out vampire?" he wondered. Almost as soon as made the suggestion, Tyler gave himself a mental slap. Now why had he said that out loud? Great, Ty. Real smooth, he thought to himself. It was obvious that this woman wasn't all that ordinary and she would most likely get suspicious of him automatically thinking of vampires. But he couldn't help it. When you found yourself living in the Supernatural world, your thoughts just automatically went in that direction. Especially when you had some creature's head at your feet. -----------------------

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - Just her luck - killing a demon and literally having the head knock into a civilian. How in the hell was she going to explain this? However while the boy looked surprised, he didn't look shocked. Unsure, weirded out, definitely. But he didn't seem to be completely shocked. Something told her that this wasn't his first rodeo. Something also told her that he wasn't completely human, either. Why else would he be chillin' in a graveyard in the middle of the night?
Faith took her eyes off the boy and looked down to the head at his feet instead. She shrugged her shoulders and looked back up to him once again. "More of those specifically? Doubt it. More like it? Probably. Always is." Why in god's name had she just said that? Now she was blunt, yes, but she normally wasn't downright stupid. Speaking to a civilian about the demons roaming his quaint little town? Bad choice. It was too late now though, she decided. Might as well run with it.
As he greeted her with a hi, she simply raised her eyebrows. Faith wasn't a 'hi' kinda chick. Even her just saying hey sounded weird. "Nope, not really a team player myself" she said simply. The axe in her hand was dripping with the demon's brown colored blood and as it almost landed onto her boot, she decided she should probably go ahead and wipe it off. She listened to the boy speak as she moved to slide the blade through the grass to remove the blood. The mention of vampires caught her attention. Hugging the axe to her thighs she raised her brows once again. "Whaddaya know about vamps?" she asked, lowering one brow but keeping the other raised. Interesting - was he a vampire playing stupid, or simply a civilian that'd finally caught on to what was going on in his town? "And honestly? No fuckin' clue. Some kinda demon I've never seen before. Which, is sayin' somethin' because I've killed a lot of shit in my days." [/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ::TAG:: Tyler!::OUTFIT:: Click here for Faith's outfit.::WORD COUNT:: 389::NOTES:: ----::CREDIT:: Picture made by Kasey, Template made by Britt

----------------------- ----------------------- After Tyler asked if there were anymore of the things she had killed, the woman stated that she doubted that there were more of that particular creature, though there were probably more like it as there usually were. "Great. That's just what this town needs," he muttered to himself. Couldn't they even catch a break? Why were they becoming such a hotbed for the Supernatural world? Was there some sort of beacon that had gone out to invite weird creatures into the town? Way things are going, I really wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, he thought to himself. And that really sucked. He knew how much the town meant to his mom and the rest of the Founding Families and having a reputation of being home to the Supernatural was probably not something that they had wanted. Heck, it wasn't something he wanted. But it wasn't like he could do anything about it. He then nodded as she confirmed his assumption that she didn't usually run into people while fighting, saying that she wasn't a team player. "From the sound of it, neither was this guy," he commented, briefly glancing at the head. "So you seemed to have some pretty good moves. Been doing this long?" he queried. Okay, maybe it was weird for him to be asking questions like this, but he had heard whispers of people who fought the Supernatural and he just felt better knowing who to be wary of. For a moment, he stared at the blood dripping off the axe and his eyes flickered. Normally when he was around blood, he felt a hunger that called out to him wanting to be quenched, but this blood didn't have that affect. Oh, he the craving was there of course, but it wasn't any worse than usual, which meant that the creature's blood didn't have the same lure as a human's, which was good. But maybe that was because he kept a healthy diet of the stuff in his system, he wasn't really sure. He then realized that she had started talking again, asking him what he knew about vampires. "Too damn much," he answered bitterly. Yeah, he was probably risking a lot by admitting to his knowledge of vampires, but he had already seen this chick decapitate some sort of creature and hadn't freaked out, so she probably already knew that he knew more than other people. He then grimaced as she admitted that she didn't know what the thing was other than a demon as she had never seen it before, which meant a lot because she had seen a lot in her time. "Oh, great. That's just wonderful. As if this town didn't have enough problems," he muttered. Yeah, his mom and the Council was just gonna love this. And yes, he was actually contemplating revealing to his mother that he knew about the Council. Hey, when things got weirder than vampires, werewolves, and witches, you had to make some tough choices. -----------------------

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - A soft chuckle escaped her husky throat, looking down to the head as well. "No, he was more of a solo type...thing. Guy. It. Whatever." Her free hand reached out to the back of her neck and rubbed at it for a second before landing back onto it's place on her hip. She craned her neck around to the side until it cracked, loosening up even further - just in case. "Long time. Definitely ain't my first rodeo." She shrugged, as if it didn't bother her. Which in truth, it didn't. See, Buffy had always been against their calling. She'd always wanted the normal life with the normal friends, the normal boyfriend, going to school, shopping, college, all that jazz. Faith? This was all she'd known since becoming a teenager and being assigned a Watcher. Even before she'd been called, she'd loved training and although she didn't necessarily want the current Slayer dead, she did want to be called. When she finally was? The power was overwhelming. Meeting Buffy and constantly being compared to her as well as the power sent her over the edge. Now of course, she was fine. But - there had been a rough few years between now and then. Shit, she was still wanted by the Federal Government for escaping jail. Sometimes she forgot about that. Being brought out of her thoughts by the boy's voice she tilted her head slightly to the side. "Oh yeah? And how's it that a kid like you knows somethin' about vamps?" she asked, not accusing, simply... very interested. There was a bit of threat in her tone that if he didn't tell her - he'd regret it. "This town ain't that bad...I've seen worse" she muttered, thinking of Sunnydale. Oh yeah, she'd seen much worse. Faith tapped her boot in the grass as they spoke - she was getting bored, and quickly. Her plan after this was to drink heavily, find a stranger to screw, and go home and go to sleep. She was getting antsy. ----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler couldn't help the chuckle that escaped as the woman said that the thing had been more for flying solo, stumbling over what to call the demon. He didn't blame her trying to come up with a word for the thing as she was probably trying to think of a way to explain it away so that he wouldn't get suspicious. Or maybe he had just been keeping his own secret for too long and that had made him paranoid. Oh, well. Better to be paranoid and safe than to be complacent and dead. "Yeah, I think "It" covers it quite well," he stated and then nodded as she confirmed that she had been fighting for a long time, saying it wasn't her first rodeo. "Yeah, I kinda figured from the way you were fighting," he said again. Not that he was by any means an expert when it came to fighting, but she had looked pretty good to him. And he supposed that style and technique didn't really matter as long as you survived. When the woman asked how a kid like him knew about vampires, Tyler grimaced. Yeah, he had said too much. Oh, well. He supposed that there was no reason to lie to her since she obviously knew about the Supernatural. But how much could he tell her without endangering Caroline and Lilly-Beth? I'll just say that I'm a vampire, he decided. Yeah, that would work. He wouldn't mention anything about werewolves or Hybrids and things would be just fine. "Well you know what they say about taking one to know one," he answered, letting his features change for a brief instant, before his face returned to normal. "Relax, I'm not going to hurt you. All I want to do is live long enough to graduate high school," he hastened to assure. And that was certainly the truth. He was able to survive on blood bags just fine and had no desire to die before graduation came. Then she said that the town wasn't so bad and that she had seen worse, causing Tyler to chuckle again. "Oh, I doubt that," he stated. "Things have gotten pretty crazy in this place," he stated. For one thing, Elena had been used in a sacrifice to help Klaus unleash his werewolf side, and then the guy had made him his first Hybrid which had lead to a Sire-bond which he had just managed to break. Of course, there was no way he was going to tell this woman all of that. For one thing, it wasn't any of her business, and for another, that would raise questions that he didn't have any right to answer. -----------------------

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - Faith nodded. "Yeah, definitely an it. Nasty fucker too. Got me all slimy." Looking down to her hands, she wiped them against her jeans. Probably not the best idea, though one couldn't really tell since they were so dark. She was actually pretty sure she was currently wearing Buffy's jeans. From what she could remember, Buffy had bought them and they hadn't fit her. Too big of course, as the blonde was literally a freaking toothpick. Faith had been more than happy to snag them. She wasn't a trousers girl, or a dress girl, nice pair of jeans and a shirt was all she needed. And her leather jacket of course. Buffy had made her throw out her jean jacket.
A smirk rose from her features. One of her eyebrows lifted as she took a few steps towards the kid. When she was close enough, she slowly started to circle him. Making him nervous? Definitely. "Were ya watchin' me, kid?" she asked, the word kid slipping out of her tongue like a purr. Honestly though, she was trying to figure out if he was human or not. She didn't get vampire vibes but she also knew there was a different kind of vampire in this town. A kind like Damon, and he didn't give her vibes. It made being able to tell a lot harder. However, how else would he know about them? Then again, most vampires wouldn't admit knowing about their own kind. And when she stopped in front of him, he changed his face. Well that made it a lot easier. He actually admitted it? After seeing what she just did to that demon? Was he insane? "You got a deathwish or somethin'?" she asked, remaining in front of him and raising the axe up to her shoulder. "You know what I am?" she asked, referring to being a Slayer. ----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler nodded as the woman confirmed that it was an "It", saying that it was nasty and had gotten her all slimy. "That sucks," he stated. He could see the stuff that was all over her but at least it didn't smell, which was a plus. "At least it doesn't smell. So there's that," he added. Cause really, if that stuff had had an odor, he wasn't sure if he could've been able to handle it with his heightened senses. But that problem wasn't there, so he was just going to forget about it. That was easier said then done though. Now that he had thought it, it was gonna stick in his head for a while. Great, Ty. Way to get side-tracked, he thought to himself. He had been doing that a lot lately and he had no idea why. When she asked him if he was watching her, he gave a noncommittal shrug. "I heard the fighting, went to check it out in case you needed help. Which you clearly didn't," he answered. It was the truth and even if it got his ass kicked for coming out wrong, at least she'd know that he wasn't some kind of creeper, which was what she was probably thinking. Or maybe she wasn't. He didn't know. All he knew was that he had seen her kill something nasty. And from what he could tell, it was good that it was dead. Who wanted something like that running around loose? Certainly not him. After his revelation, she raised the axe to her shoulder, asking him if he had a death wish. "No more than usual," he quipped. Okay, so he wasn't looking to die per se, but he was looking to take down Klaus, which he supposed could amount to the same thing if he wasn't careful, but hey, the guy had ruined his life. He just wanted to return the favor. If it hadn't been for him, he wouldn't have had to go out and break a freakin' Sire-bond which would lead him to losing his girlfriend. Okay, so that part was his fault, but still...When she asked him if he knew who she was, he shook his head. "Other than a girl who can kick ass? Nope," he responded. But then, why should he? He was meeting this girl for the very first time so of course he wouldn't know if she was something Supernatural cause she sure as heck didn't smell like she was. -----------------------

Looking down to the things body, she nodded approvingly. "Yeah, that would have sucked. Man this one time I killed this Bosco demon, right? And it stunk of sulfur, which basically, smelled like rotten eggs. Couldn't get it outta my clothes for weeks!" she said with a shake of her head. She never wanted to meet another Bosco demon again. She'd lost her best pair of jeans to that damn thing and she still wasn't too pleased about that.
Why was she still even standing here talking to this kid? For the life of her she couldn't seem to get away from him despite feeling like she needed to. Her Slayer instincts were going absolutely wild at the moment.
Another nod of her head caused the brown waves of lustful hair to shake around against her back a bit. "Nah, I don't play well with others. Even when they look like you"
she told him with a smirk, clearly referring to the fact that she found him extremely attractive. Still extremely young, too though. She needed to watch out for that and make sure he was already eighteen. Faith couldn't help but chuckle at this. Axe still raised to her shoulder she stood directly in front of the kid. All the while she kept her muscles tensed should she have to make a move quickly. She was ready. The real question? Was he. "Vampire Slayer. Girl chosen to fight all the fucked up shit that goes bump in the night. Including, but not limited to, yourself." With this, she simply raised her brow. She couldn't decide whether or not to hack his head off now, or wait for a few moments to see if he had anything more interesting to say. She supposed she'd wait and see if he had anything to add, then she'd go ahead and get to chop chopping. ----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler smirked as the woman said that it would've sucked if it had smelled, going on to say that she had killed something called a "Bosco demon" that had smelled of sulfur which was basically rotten eggs and that she hadn't been able to get the smell out of her clothes for weeks. "Yuck. That doesn't sound fun," he stated. And it really didn't, cause seriously, who wanted smelly gunk all over their clothes? That just sounded nasty and not something he wanted to experience for himself. Though in this town, he probably would sooner or later. After telling her that he had come over in order to make sure she didn't need help which she hadn't, she shook her head, telling him that she didn't play well with others even if they looked like him. "Well, I don't always play well with others either," he responded. He was getting better though. Well, sort of. Lying to Caroline about him breaking the Sire-bond wasn't a good example of him playing well with others, but it was a good example of him not playing well with others. But he had had a good reason for lying: he had been trying to protect Caroline...not that she really needed it, but...yeah, anyway, time to push that thought away. And apparently, his comment that she could kick ass amused her, for she let out a chuckle before explaining that she was something called a vampire slayer, which---according to her---was a girl who was chosen to fight the things of the night which included but weren't limited to him. "Well, there's no need to fight me. I stick to blood bags," he assured her. Granted, blood from bags didn't taste nearly as good as blood from the vein, but he wanted to keep a low profile and feeding this way helped him to do it. However, his revelation had most likely put this woman on edge, and she had a mean looking axe, which meant that he wasn't taking any chances with her. OOC Ugh. Sorry this was crap. I wasn't feeling too good. -----------------------

The Brunette Slayer rolled her eyes and shifted her weight to the other ball of her foot, allowing her free hand to rest on one of her hips. "Yeah? Can't say I haven't heard that before." She'd also been told before by a vampire that he mainly stuck to 'kittens'. While she wasn't a huge animal lover herself that'd still sort of pissed her off and she'd staked him anyways. Even if it was true (which she doubted it was) poor kittens. And blood bags? Who did this guy think he was, Angel for god's sake?
"Faith, by the way. Thought you should know the name of the hot-chick that's about to hack you in half. Y'know, get the formalities outta the way."
Whew, that was a feisty one. If someone looked up feisty and badass in the dictionary, they'd surely see a picture of Faith. The two described her to a freaking tee. Clucking her tongue as she looked him up and down, he didn't seem all that threatening. "Luckily for you, you're hot. And while I don't believe you're as vegan as you say you are, I'm willing to overlook that for a few hours and a couple drinks." She was offering him a few more hours to live - he should take it. "Let's go, Junior" she said, gesturing for him to follow as she headed back towards the cemetery entrance. If he was smart he'd go to the town bar with her and have a couple drinks. People tended to loosen up and tell the truth when drunk. Plus, she was stalling. Her Slayer instincts were shouting to her that he wasn't a threat and she didn't have to kill him. Her 'Faith' instincts however told her that no matter what, he was still a vampire, she still a Slayer. She'd decide later after a couple of drinks, she supposed. After all - she was growing bored of the cemetery. ----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler's eyes flickered as Faith said that she couldn't say that she had never heard the claim that he stuck to blood bags before. "Is that right?" he queried. Who else did she meet? he wondered. As far as he knew, he was the only one that she had met. But then again, that was as far as he knew. She could've met anyone else who was making the claim that he was. Man, sometimes I wish that this town would stop getting new people, he thought to himself. He really hated not knowing who was in this town. However, it wasn't like there was anything he could do to stop people from moving here. He then nodded in greeting as she introduced herself as Faith, saying that they should get formalities out of the way and that he should get to know the name of the hot chick that was about to hack him in half. "Uh, yeah about that. I'm not trying to attack you or eat you, so killing me won't be necessary and if you did kill me, you'd have to explain to the mayor why you killed her son," he responded. Of course, this woman probably didn't care who his mother was, but if he could make her think twice before killing him, all the better. And if he had to, he'd run like Hell. "Oh and I'm Tyler Lockwood, son of Mayor Carol Lockwood," he told her. Well, considering that this girl was contemplating killing him, he had a feeling that a little name-dropping couldn't hurt. He then let out a breath he hadn't realized that he had been holding as she said that he was hot and that while she didn't believe that he was a vegan---not that he had said he drank blood, because hello, gross---she was willing to overlook it for a few hours over some drinks. "That sounds good. I think I could use a drink and so could you probably. I'll buy," he offered, ignoring her use of the word "Junior" as he supposed that it made sense for her to call him that. And hey, if it kept him alive, he'd buy drinks for the whole damn town. -----------------------

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - Crossing her arms over her chest, she raised her brows for a second. The Mayor's son? "Well played." And for a moment it had seemed that the boy had won. However, Faith and anyone who knew her, who that she didn't lose. She couldn't. It didn't exist in the crazy little world that she lived in, all by herself. "Wonder what the Mayor would think about her son being a vamp?" she asked, throwing it right back at him. Seeing the look on his face, she couldn't help but smirk. "Now that was well played." "Your name would be Tyler, of course." Faith didn't even bother explaining what that meant. Honestly, she wasn't sure what she meant. Either she'd meant that it'd been fitting as it seemed juvenile, seeing as he was much younger looking than her. Or, more likely, it seemed like an all American Boy-Toy name, which is what he looked like. Probably the latter the more she thought about it. Allowing her hands to fall to her sides, she motioned for Tyler to walk beside her, not behind her. She wasn't trusting him just yet - she doubted she ever truly would. "Lead the way, Ty" she said with a slightly sarcastic smirk. It appeared that the night would be a little less uneventful than she'd assumed. Even if nothing else happened, she'd at least killed a gnarly demon and met the Mayor's vampire son. That had to mean somethin', right? ----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler gave her a quick grin as she told him that he had played his cards well by saying that he was the mayor's son. He probably hadn't impressed her, but he wasn't one to ignore a compliment. Then, at her comment about wondering how his mother would take the news that he was a vampire, he hesitated. She hadn't taken the news of him being a werewolf all that well, though to be fair, he had blindsided her by shifting right in front of her after he had learned that she had outed Caroline to her father. Outed. Well, that was an ironic choice of words considering things. He then gave himself a mental shake as the girl said that her comment had been well played. "Yes it was. And my mother has enough to worry about without strangers bothering her, so let's pretend that you didn't just threaten to tell her that I'm a vampire," he suggested, a cautioning tone creeping into his voice. Okay granted, he was probably going to have to come clean to her sooner or later, but he'd rather it be on his terms and not anyone else's. After he introduced himself, she said that of course his name would be Tyler, causing him to frown in confusion. "What do you mean by that?" he wondered. Had she heard of him or something? And if she had, did that mean she knew Klaus somehow. At this new thought, Tyler tensed a bit. He did not want this exchange getting back to the Original if he could help it. Not that he knew for sure if she was working for him, but better to play it safe now than to have things come back to bite him in the ass later. However, after her comment, she didn't elaborate and Tyler sure as hell wasn't going to ask her for an explanation. He was a lot of things, but stupid wasn't one of them. Though, given the way he had treated Caroline after breaking the Sire-bond, that was probably debatable. Then at Faith's motion, Tyler began walking beside her even as she told him to lead the way, shortening his name to Ty. "Don't call me Ty. You haven't earned it," he told her. Only a few select people were allowed to call him that: such as Matt and Caroline. And Vicki once up on a time. He had tried to tell himself it was because they were screwing so he had allowed it, but truth be told, he had liked the word on her lips. And Matt was his best friend, which was why he allowed the boy to call him "Ty". Caroline though, she had never used the moniker, though he wouldn't be opposed to it if she did. But as he had stated, Faith would have to earn that right and there was no guarantee that she ever would... -----------------------
