----------------------- ----------------------- After mentioning that he liked "A Christmas Story", Becky got all excited, saying that she loved the movie and that time of year, mentioning that there was a station that played it all day during Christmas, and Tyler smiled. "Yeah, we have a station here that does that too. Around Christmas time, my mom puts on Lifetime and Hallmark to watch all these Christmas movies. It can get to be a bit much, but I kinda like it," he admitted. In a way, it was almost like when he had been little and they had sat down to watch something like "Santa Clause Is Coming To Town". Of course, nowadays, it was pretty rare to see something like that, though they still played the Charlie Brown Christmas Special. Yeah, those were good memories. Then she admitted that her other favorite movies were "Mean Girls" and "Spice World", adding that she was a big fan of the Spice Girls and liked their music. "I think I recall when they were big," he said. Well, he didn't think. He had spent a lot of time watching girls doing the "Wannabe" dance. Hey, they had looked hot. And he was getting off of that train of thought before he accidentally said something typically male and got himself smacked for it. After his question of wanting more to eat, she said she'd maybe get some ice cream as she was a big dessert fan. "Yes! Dessert is key!" he proclaimed. Then his eyes clouded as she said that she supposed that she had screwed up as well because her boyfriend had just left her with no explanation. "That's a crappy thing to do. Sounds like he's an ass for not giving you an explanation," he said somewhat angrily. Not that he was any better as he had lied to Caroline about breaking the Sire-bond. Ah, yes. The question of why Caroline had left him and how he had screwed up with her. But he couldn't exactly tell her the truth. "I had a good thing going with her and then I decided to be a dick and cheat on her. It was stupid and she was rightfully upset and dumped me," he lied. Yup. He had decided for a cop out. Maybe it was stupid but it sounded better than something like "I broke my Sire-bond to a homicidal vampire who has the hots for her but I lied to her about it and drove her right into his arms." Yeah, she'd think he was insane for sure. Making him sound like an ass was definitely the better way to go. -----------------------

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Becky loved watching Christmas movies, they were one of the whole reasons she looks forward to that time of year in the first place. Plus she did love the gifts and the cookies as well. “Your mom sounds pretty awesome at that time of year, I guess I will have to drop by sometime and hang at Christmas.” She said with a smile. “But I have to tell you, I go pretty nuts when it comes to buying gifts from my friends. Shopping happens to be something that I just love to do, but I’m a girl can you blame me.” She knew that she had to sound like a big nerd right now, talking about what band she loved so much. But she just couldn’t help it, they were something that she loved listening to. They made her feel better on bad days, they brought her up when she was down, which was why she still loved them. “yeah they were pretty big that’s for sure, I loved them!” She said jumping up a bit in her seat. “There has got to be a band that you just love.” It was a crappy thing to do and she still didn’t get why he just left, things for them was going so well so it didn’t make sense to why he just disappeared. But she did always recall him saying she needed better. What does he know what Becky needs, he doesn’t! “Yeah he is an ass that’s for sure, but for some dumb reason I still love him. Which I don’t know why, but that’s love right? Make us nuts.” Becky couldn’t really blame his girl then when he said he cheated, but at the same time she felt bad. She could tell that he knew that he made a big mistake. “Well never say never and give up hope, one day she may want you back. Love is a strong thing, you let them go and they come back its meant to be.” Becky said giving words of wisdom. ----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler smiled as Becky said that his mom sounded pretty awesome around Christmas and that she'd have to drop by sometime and hang out during the holiday. "Yeah, she'd probably like that. Our house can get pretty lonely," he stated. Especially since his dad had died. Dad...Man, sometimes he missed him. He then let out a light chuckle as she continued on, saying that she tended to go a little nuts buying gifts for her friends as shopping was something that she loved to do, asking him if he could blame her since she was a girl. "Well, it's good to do things you love," he told her. Granted, shopping wasn't one of his favorite things, but hey, he was a guy. His smile grew as she confirmed that the Spice Girls had been big and that she loved them, adding that there had to be a band that he liked, jumping in her seat a bit. "I remember when some girls in town listened to them nonstop. It drove us guys nuts. Well...until they started dancing," he told him, allowing his grin to grow in an old familiar smirk. "And I'm a big Linkin Park fan," he told her. He just loved blaring it on the stereo. Well, at least, he used to blare it. He didn't really do that as much anymore. If it did, it'd give him one heck of a headache. He listened as she said that he was an ass, but that she still loved him for some dumb reason that she didn't understand, saying that love made them nuts. "Yeah, I'll say. You do some pretty stupid stuff," he agreed. Like pretending you haven't broken a Sire-bond when you really have, he thought to himself. Yes, he could easily admit that him lying to Caroline had been pretty dumb, but it was the only way he could think of to keep her safe. And that was the only important thing: keeping her safe. He let out a small chuckle as she stated that he shouldn't ever "Say never" and give up hope as she may want him back some day as love was pretty strong and that if something was meant to be, the person would come back if they were let go. "I guess. But she was pretty pissed...not that I blame her. I was pretty much a dick to her when she found out," he said. Yup. He was going to make this the official story: he had cheated on Caroline and that she had dumped him. He had no idea if anyone would believe it, but he figured he could probably sell it. Hey, before he had triggered the family curse, he had thought that he was God's gift to women and had acted accordingly. If he reverted to form, no one would bat an eye. -----------------------
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Becky felt sad and wondered why the house could get that way at Christmas, no ones house should feel that way at Christmas. It should feel amazing, filled with family, friends, and love.But she then thought about it, maybe he didn't have many to his family and that's why it was that way. Not everyone can have everything, and sometimes you don't need all that. "Why can your house get lonely? That's sad makes me want to come over even more, no one should be that way at Christmas." Said Becky. "I'm sorry I have to ask is it just you and your mom then? Where your dad?" She asked hoping she wasn't asking to much, she didn't want intrude on his persona; business. Becky couldn't help but get excited when he said Linking Park, they were such a good band Becky couldn't help but love them. But she couldn't lie it was a strange combo for a girl to like pop and rock, but for some reason she did. " I love them they are soooo good, I have like all there Cds. I would have saw them in concert but it was the same time of the SPN convention and I couldn't miss that for the world." Said Becky. "But maybe some other time I will, and maybe we could both go." She could tell that he was really upset for all that had happen with him and his girl, which was why Becky knew she might want to drop what happened with them and not speak of it anymore. "Yeah that's for sure it does make you do dumb stuff, but we are only human right so don't let it beat you up." Said Becky with a smile. Still he was beating himself up for all that happened, she could tell that he really felt bad for what he has done to this girl. She could tell that he still was very much in love with her. "I will tell you though love is a strong thing, so if you love her and want her back. It may happen." She told him. "I just wish there was something I could do to help." She said with a sad face. "So anyway how's the meal." It wasn't that long that they had gotten there food, they were just so busy talking they didn't take the time to enjoy it yet. ----------------------- ----------------------- After Tyler's comment that the house could get lonely, Becky asked him why, saying that it made her sad and wanting to come over even more. "It's just me and my mom. It has been for a while," he responded. When she continued, asking about his dad, he let out a deep breath. "He died a couple of years ago," he told her. Well, more like he had been murdered by the Council thinking that he was a vampire. But he wasn't. Or hadn't been. There were times when Tyler wondered if his father had ever come close to activating the curse, because let's face it, with his father's temper, it was pretty plausible. His mood perked up when she said that she liked Linkin Park, saying that she had almost gotten a chance to see them in concert, but it had been at the same time as a Supernatural convention, so she had gone to the convention as she wouldn't miss that for anything. "That makes sense. Conventions don't always happen as often as concerts," he commented. At least...he didn't think they did. He wasn't too sure. When she suggested they could go to a concert together sometime, he smiled. "Yeah, that'd be pretty cool," he agreed. Heaven knew he needed some down time. Not that he figured he'd get it any time soon, but he could still plan for it. As they continued to talk, he ate his food and then nodded as she said that love could make people do dumb stuff but he shouldn't sweat it as he was only human. Well, not exactly, he thought to himself. He was a vampire/werewolf mix, but it wasn't like he could actually tell her that. After all, he didn't want to freak her out. His smile deepened a bit when she said that if their love was strong enough, he'd get her back and that she wished she could help. "I hope so," he said. "And if you ever can, I'll let you know," he assured. When she asked him how the food was, he gave her another smile. "As good as always. Yours?" he responded. -----------------------

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Becky wanted to break when he said that his dad had left him and his mom, she knew that had to be hard losing a father. She felt for Tyler as she reached out putting her hand on his. “I’m really sorry to hear that Tyler, that has to be hard on you and your mom.” Said Becky. “Well I’m here if you ever need to talk about it.” She wasn’t going to ask once more or how it happened, she knew it had to be a touchy subject. Plus she didn’t need to bring down this fun time that they were having hanging out. This was there time to get to know each other and have fun. That was true it wasn’t that often that Conversations were held, plus supernatural only had one really. She wished there were more but it was hard for Chuck just to get that one, which Sam and Dean did hate. But it was so much fun, it even turned out to be more real then it seemed. Seeing that the house really did have a ghost by the name latisha gore, which Sam and Dean took on with ease. “Yeah they don’t happen that often, I mean this one only had one.” Said Becky. “But like I said I will look into it, we can go to one coming up soon. I mean they just had a new cd come out so.” Becky went about eating her food having the time of her life getting to know Tyler. But it wasn’t long before all her food was gone, man she felt like such a pig really. But she couldn’t help it after all. “Sorry if I looked like a pig I was hungry, but I tell you what I’m ready for some ice cream whenever you are just let me know.” She said with a smile. Sitting there with a big smile as always, so big it may shock some. Word Count- 328 Tagged- OPEN Outfit- clikc to see Becky's outfitNote- Note Here ~~~~~~~~~~~
----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler smiled softly as Becky put her hand on his, saying that she was sorry and that it was probably hard for him and his mother, adding that she was there for him if he ever wanted to talk. "Thanks," he said softly. He wasn't going to lie: it still hurt sometimes, but it wasn't as bad as it used to be back when it had first happened, and he was glad that the pain had lessened. He then nodded as she said that Supernatural conventions didn't happen all that often as there had only been one, but that she would look into one and that they could go to the next Spice Girls concert that was coming out as they had just come out with a new c.d. "Yeah, that sounds cool," he agreed. Going to a Spice Girls concert wasn't exactly his idea of a good time, but at least it sounded like a way to kill some time. Hey, look at him being all grown up and mature. His mother would be so proud. Soon, they were both done eating and then he waved off her apology about the amount of food that she had eaten, explaining that she had been hungry and that whenever he was ready for dessert, she was as well. "No, I like a girl who's comfortable enough with her body to eat to her heart's content," he told her. It was actually really refreshing. A lot of girls that he knew were forever worrying about their weight and what other people thought of them. It was stupid if you asked him as he'd rather have someone who ate what they wanted and looked healthy than someone who looked like death warmed over. But then, who listened to him? "Well, if you're ready for ice cream, I am. I know a place close by where you can get a killer double chocolate," he told her with a grin. Yes, it was one of his favorite ice cream flavors and this girl seemed like she'd enjoy it. And wasn't the point of this outing? To have fun and to enjoy themselves? -----------------------
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~That was Becky for sure she eat what she wanted and didn’t care, or if anyone watched her. Life was to short to worry about the small things, there where other things in life to worry about. ‘Well thanks I guess.” She said with a smile. “So you know I did eat till my heart was content, perhaps a bit more then I should have.” She said while putting her hand on her stomach from how full it was. She may have been full but she still had room for the good stuff, she was dying for some ice cream and she wasn’t going to let anything get in the way of her getting some. Lets just say she had a bit of a weakness when it came to sweets, she had always been that way. From when Becky was kid she had always wanted desert, sometimes she even could have skipped dinner. But she mom and dad wouldn’t have had that, she had to finish all her dinner if she wanted anything sweet at all. Becky heard him tell her a really good place that was down the block, she though they were eating there but she was down for trying this place out. Killer Double Chocolate sounded so good right about now, it was making her mouth water just thinking about it. “Ok I’m down for that! What we waiting for lets go.” She said while getting out of her seat off to get some. “Lead the way!” She said while following close by him, wondering where this place was anyway? She though she knew all the good places in to get ice cream in town it seemed she was wrong. “So if I didn’t know about this place what other cool places are there in town I should know of?” She asked. ----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler smiled as Becky said that she had eaten to her heart's content, and probably even a little more, touching her stomach for emphasis. From her confused thanks, he could tell that she wasn't quite sure how to take his comment, but he didn't know how to explain without getting himself in deep trouble, so he he just wisely kept his mouth shut. "It just shows that you know how to enjoy good food," he approved. There. That didn't sound so bad...right? And besides, it was as he said, he liked a girl with a hearty appetite. And that sounded like something from one of those Disney movies he had been roped into watching. Oh well. It was how he felt and nothing was going to change that. But at least he was being smart by not opening his mouth and trying to explain. In his experience, whenever he had tried to make a situation like this better, he had just ended up making it worse. So this time, he was definitely keeping quiet. See? He could learn these things. Not that he'd let anyone actually know this, but...okay, losing his train of thought. He needed to focus. He hadn't been too sure if the girl would agree to changing venues for their dessert, but thankfully she had, telling him that she was down for it, that they should go, and for him to lead the way. "I know it's a little weird, but I'm a bit of an ice cream snob," he said a bit sheepishly as he stood up and started walking towards the exit. Realistically, he knew that there probably wasn't any difference between the ice cream here and the kind served in the shop two doors down, but to him, their ice cream just tasted better. At her question of whether or not there were any other cool places in town, he frowned thoughtfully. He knew what kind of places he liked to visit in Richmond, but he wasn't sure if this girl would like the same places. "Well, when I was younger, I went to a comic book shop, though I have no idea if it's still in business, and of course there's the ice cream shop that I told you about, and..." his voice trailed off as he racked his brain, trying to think of places that would possibly interest the girl. It didn't take them very long to get to the ice cream shop and when they did, Tyler went to the entrance, opened the door, and then stepped back so that Becky could go first. Wow. Look at him being all gentlemanly. It would appear that those Founder Parties had been good for something after all. His mother would be so proud... -----------------------

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Becky was the same way she was such an ice cream snob, she didn’t know why She just loved it. There was something about eating it that made her feel so happy in side, all though all sweets seemed to do that to her. “I’m like that myself I love sweets, cake, candy, chocolate, cookies, and of course ice cream!” Said Becky in excited like tone. “Sorry I tend to get exited when it comes to stuff like that.” Becky couldn’t help it, she was having a great day here with Tyler. She was so happy that she made a friend with someone as epic as he was. She couldn’t help but let out a smile when he said comic store, she loved going to them. She could just hang there all day finding comic after comic to buy. She didn’t even care if she had anything to do that day as long as she had a good comic to read, or book. (But Especially SPN) They just made everything so much better and life a little easier to deal with. Which with Becky’s hard life growing up and being teased she needed them so. “A comic books store huh, that sounds awesome!” She then had an idea for them. “Oh about after we eat our ice cream we go and see if there is one, we can walk there while eating them. Want to?” She asked him with a smile. “Thank you so much!” She said with a smile as he opened the door for her. “You are such a gentleman Tyler.” She walked over to the place that you order asking the woman for a Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream cone. She stood there excited to try it seeing that she had not had that kind of so long. She stood back so Tyler could walk up and take his order, wondering what it was they would get? ----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler smiled again as Becky stated that she was the same way, saying that she loved sweets, cake, candy, chocolate, cookies, and of course ice cream. "Yeah, they're all so good," he agreed. When she apologized, saying that she tended to get excited about things, he waved off the apology. "It's okay. It's good to be passionate about things, no matter how big or small," he told her. And that was certainly the truth. After all, life---especially life in Mystic Falls---was too short to worry about what other people thought. And besides, it wasn't like she was hurting anyone with her passions. If she had been hurting someone, he would've done something, but she wasn't, so really, it was a non-issue. At the mention of a comic book store, the girl smiled, saying that it sounded awesome. "Yeah, it really was. From what I can remember, it had everything: Batman, Spider, Avengers, stuff like that. And the owner was really cool. He didn't mind if you just read the comics in the store rather than buying them," he recalled, getting a faraway look in his eye. As he had stated, he hadn't gotten a chance to go to Richmond very often as a kid so he had always made the most of the trip whenever they had gone. And now he was missing that old store. I wonder if it's still around, he thought to himself. Suddenly, he wanted to find out. As if thinking the same thing, his companion suggested looking for the store after they got their ice cream, saying that they could eat the treat on the way. "Hey, that's a great idea!" he approved, his eyes lighting up. Even if they didn't find the place, it'd give them more time to spend together and get to know each other. Huh. Looking at him being the social butterfly. Who would've thought? Tyler waited for Becky to walk through the door, smiling at her thanks and compliment of being a gentleman. Gentleman. He had to admit, it felt good to be thought of that way. "Been to a lot of Founder's Parties. And when we were younger, part of our lessons was the proper etiquette that would be expected once we were there," he answered as they walked up to the counter. "Ladies first," he said and waited as she ordered a Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream cone. "And I'll have a Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream cone," he said. The ice cream was scooped up and the worker handed the treats to them and Tyler turned to Becky. "Are you sure you want to pay? I don't mind," he told her. Yes he knew that it had been the plan but to be perfectly honest, it felt a little weird. After all, even if it wasn't a date, shouldn't he be paying for this stuff? After all, it was what he had come to expect on outings such as this. OOC It's fine. Sorry this is so long. -----------------------
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It made Becky feel good when he said it was ok to be passionate about things she liked, sometimes she always worried that she was a little bit to into the things that she loved. Which was reading, music, comics, some amine. But most of all she loved Supernatural, nothing else came close to that, it was the one thing she loved more then anything and could read it 24 hours a day. Which she pretty much does sadly but oh well its what she loves and makes her happy. “Well thanks that makes me feel good hearing you say that.” She said with a smile. “Really he will let us do that?“ Said Becky. She begin to get excited and loved the idea of them going to the comic book store, it would be a great way to end the day. After an awesome time getting food and ice cream they would now chill out and read some comics. Which she loved seeing that she never had anyone to do it with. But that time was over now she did which made her so excited. A part of her just wanted to jump up and down inside right now like a little kid again getting a best friend for the first time. “I know right sometimes I come up with the best ideas” Said Becky. Becky loved how for a guy he actually had manners, most of them these days didn’t. Well Chuck did which is another reason that Becky hates it so much that she had lost him. She is yet to find another guy that compared to all the things she loved about him. She hopes that one day she finds him or Sam and Dean do anyway. After they order there ice cream Becky went about paying for there ice cream. She could tell that Tyler did feel bad for her doing that for them. But he really didn’t need to, its what friends do for one another. “Don’t worry about it I don’t mind at all, next time you can buy.” Said Becky handing him his cone. “So where is this comic store anyway lead the way.” Word Count- 365 Tagged- OPEN Outfit- clikc to see Becky's outfitNote- Note Here ~~~~~~~~~~~

----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler smiled as Becky thanked him and said that she liked the fact that he liked that she was passionate. Hmmm...it sounds like she's gotten some flack for being passionate about things, he thought to himself. "Well, don't let anyone ever tell you not to be passionate about things," he stated. In his own opinion, if people weren't passionate about things, they were just boring. And who wanted to be boring? Not him. Well, not often. Sure there were times that he wished that he had never triggered the curse, but that was a whole different issue. She seemed surprise that the man had let them read the comics in the shop, asking if he'd let them do it. "If it's still there and he's still in charge of it, I think he'll let us, yeah," he replied. The guy had always been really cool like that. Of course, he had no way of knowing if the comic book store was still there or if it was even being managed by the same guy. He then laughed as she said that she sometimes came up with the best ideas. "Yes you do," he agreed. It really was a good idea and this way they could spend a little more time getting to know one another. After his offer, she assured him that she didn't mind and that he could pay next time. "Deal," he agreed. He then grinned as she asked where the comic store was, telling him to lead the way. "Okay then, follow me," he said. Man, I hope I still remember the way, he thought to himself. It had been a while since he had gone to the store. "It's been a while since I've been there, but I think we go out, hang a right, and then walk straight for a bit," he said and headed in the direction he had stated. As they walked, he started eating his ice cream, once in a while licking the dripping ice cream that dripped onto the sides of the cone. He had always hated it when the cones dripped, but he loved ice cream in a cone. It just tasted better this way. At least, in his opinion. After a few minutes, they reached the place that Tyler remembered the shop being and to his pleasant surprise, it was still there. "It's still here! Sweet," he approved as he quickly finished off his ice cream. Then he walked in and looked around, letting the once familiar setting sink in. It was a bit bigger than he remembered it and it appeared that things had been moved around, but at the same time, it felt exactly the same. "Wow. This is cool. I wasn't sure it'd still be here," he admitted. -----------------------

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~They got there ice cream making the deal on who would pay next time when they hung out, in the mean time they were hurrying up getting there ice cream so they could check this place out. If there is one thing that Becky Rosen loves it’s a comic book store, which is why she couldn’t wait to check this place out. She was always down to check new shops and see if they had anything that she didn’t all ready have. All thought she didn’t know how that couldn’t be possible she had so much Spn stuff now to the point it was nuts. But oh well she could still look. She begin to lick and eat her cone following Tyler letting him lead the way, she wondered why she had not seen this store before and why now she was just finding out about it? Becky was a comic book store junkie when it came to going, heck she pretty much lived in those places. She would sleep there if she could. She followed behind hoping to come to the place soon, she couldn’t wait to see what they all had. Finely after taking a right and walking a while they had found it. “Yeah you are right it is still here, nice one.“ Said Becky. This place was pretty big, she couldn’t wait to go in and check it out. She felt just like a kid in the candy store. She really hoped that he didn’t thing she was nuts. “Yay we are here I cant wait to check it out!” Becky said while going into the store with Tyler. “this was a great idea by the way” She looked around looking at all they had in the place, she all ready had finished her ice cream because she was so excited. She didn’t want to take a chance of getting kicked out because of food. So she took care of all that. Her eyes had lit up like a kid in the candy store and didn’t know where to begin looking. “So what you want to look at first? Anything you wan to look at to buy?” She asked him. ----------------------- ----------------------- Tyler was really enjoying himself. He had thought that this day was going to be boring, but he had been totally wrong. He had met a fellow comic book lover, and how could that be boring? Okay granted, he had never been as into them as some people had been, but he had still enjoyed them, and still did at times, though he didn't get as much time to read them as he used to. But that was just the way life was. You grew up, you got busier, and childhood habits went to the wayside. After he made the comment about the place still being around, she said that she was right and that it was nice that it was still there. "Yeah, it really is," he agreed and then laughed as she said that they were there and that she couldn't wait to check it out. "Well, let's go," he said with a smile. She looked so happy, like she was a little girl at Christmas time. It was a good look for her. He liked it. Then, his smile grew as she told him coming there had been a great idea. "Thanks," he said. He then pulled his phone out of his pocket and quickly texted his mother that he was staying in Richmond a while longer so that she wouldn't worry about him. "Sorry about that. I just wanted to let my mom know that I was staying in Richmond a little while later so she didn't worry," he explained as he put the phone back in his pocket. He didn't want her thinking that he was bored with her. When she asked him what he wanted to look at first and if there was anything he wanted to look at to buy, he frowned in concentration. That was actually a pretty good question. Hmmm. Where should we start? he thought to himself. "I wanna see if they have any old the old Jonah Hex comics and we should see if we can find some Batman and Robin," he replied. "Okay, we're going to have to explore a little because it's been a long time since I've been in here and it's not exactly the way I remember it, so which direction should we start in?" he asked. Okay, yeah, maybe playing it by ear wasn't the best way to start things, but what else could they do? -----------------------
