----------------------- [/b] 10pm -----------------------[/b] Chelcie rode her Ducati down the darkened streets; she was on the way to the cemeteries after getting word of a vampire nest around the area. Since arriving in Richmond she hadn’t been on a hunt, she was beginning to get restless so this was just what she needed, hopefully there wouldn’t be too many vampires in this particular nest, all vampires were very much each a threat on their own, and being that she was only a human and an inexperienced hunter at that, Chelcie knew that she had to take the cautious approach. Hopefully these disgusting abominations were still young, because by what little experience that she had the older a vampire was, usually meant the more experienced that they were, and she really didn’t need an adept vampire nest.
At the moment however Chelcie wasn’t thinking about this hunt, even though she knew that she probably should, it was just riding her motorcycle felt so free, she didn’t usually wear a helmet that she knew was probably illegal she just loved how the wind blew her hair around, and she rode fast, probably too fast in a small town such as Richmond. The thrills of riding her Ducati down the streets, trying to bring the motorcycle to its peak velocity, it was an exhilarating experience, and Chelcie wouldn’t trade her two wheels up for anything.
She still hadn’t found either Dean nor Sam so far, such as Harper had instructed she focus her efforts on, she didn’t have any idea who these two were or why it was important that she found them, he certainly made it clear that they were important telling her that the brothers would be able to help her training a lot more then he ever could. But she had plenty of time for to find these brothers, tonight however probably wasn’t going to be the night, ridding this town of a few vampires thus making it a safer place now that would be what tonight would be dedicated toward.
Finally arriving at the Richmond cemeteries, she came to a halt by the side of the curb and kicked flicked the bike stand out with her foot. Now she had to prepare herself for the nest, she was only human meaning that she was at a distinct disadvantage, Swinging her bag around and into her lap, she checked to see she had all of the necessities as she stalled for time to get her head straight.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean drove his impala through the dark streets of Richmond, he was on a case looking for a nest that he had gotten a tip on. It seemed as though they had been hanging in a cemetery, no shocker there that was like a home to a vampire. It was dark, quite, and only a few show there. And the few that do get eaten to know end. Dean hated vampires they were nothing but scum, an infected diseases that needed to be cleaned up and taken care of. Which is why Dean takes out as many of the son of bitches that he can, hoping to rid the world of them, or some of them at lest. But Dean knew that all of them weren’t bad so he couldn’t be that way. He had made great friends with some of them, and Lexi being one of them. As well as Lenore even though he had no heard from her in a long while.
Dean cell phone began to ring it was from his brother. “Hey Sammy tell me what you got.” Dean asked him. It seemed as though he had found for sure where the nest was, they were unsure of what cemetery which was why Dean was checking all of them. But it seemed as though that wasn’t the case anymore Sam knew exactly were they had been hiding out. “All right man thanks I will check it out now, yes don’t worry I will call you if anything happens. Later man.” Dean quickly hung up his cell phone making his way there now.
Dean had made his way there to the cemetery, he found a placed and parked his baby. “Well this place seems harmless enough, but I’m sure that’s what the blood suckers want me to think.” He said to himself. “They are in there some where I just know it.” Dean got out making his way to the back of the trunk, getting out his double barrel shotgun. He had it laced which something that Sam and him had came up with, exploding dead man’s blood rounds. Make for a perfect shot every time, plus Dean made sure to have his long machete that he had with him, it was great for taking off the heads of vamps. Never leave home with out it.
Dean then slowly started to make his way in through the cemetery, ready for whatever danger could come his way. He was ready know more then ever to kill some vampires.

----------------------- [/b] 20 past Ten -----------------------[/b] Chelcie had just about finished fishing through her backpack, as she though she should really buy a bigger bag because as it stood the one she had now was barely big enough. Placing her two bottles of holy water in both the front compartments for easy access, and retrieving her knife that had been in the main compartment of the bag, she flung it over her shoulder and making sure that her baby was sturdy and wouldn’t fall before heading off into the cemeteries. Chelcie’s been to a few towns on the way to Mystic Falls, but there was something that always stayed the same, her Ducati, it was always gleaming with not a scratch on it, she always had to make it look its best just as the motorcycle beauty deserved.
Walking through the cemeteries wasn’t something that she was used to, Chelcie wouldn’t admit it but she was obviously unnerved by the place at night, this was only natural though. She had only been a hunter for a couple of years, and as such was still rather inexperienced, a reason why she had to find the Winchester brothers, her adopted father had made sure to stress she find them before she left, and so she would hopefully tomorrow, once she cleared this nest out, and got some food into herself tomorrow would be all about finding the brothers that she has heard so much about.
As the dirt crunched beneath her shoes, Chelcie eventually came upon a man, he was walking a little ways up head of her. Wearing a pair of blue casual jeans with a black tee-shirt, similar in style to a Bonds brand with a dark colored coat, although the weapons was what had caught her eyes. What looked to be a twelve gauge double barrel shotgun, and a machete, making Chelcie and her knife look unprepared, this man was obviously by the weapons he held a more of a hunter that Chelcie was.
“S—Sam!?” she yelled taking the chance that this man was one of who she had been looking for however, without a picture on her the young hunter wasn’t sure which Winchester brother that this could be.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean had been walking through the cemetery and so for nothing was in sight, which was kind a let down for the hunter. He was inching for some action and was hoping he was going to get some out here, but so far tonight might not be his night. It was a quite and seemed to have nothing wrong with it, well other then the fact that it was a foggy but nothing to trip over. Dean had his flash light knowing he wouldn’t have no troubles getting back, only problems Dean had right now was the fact that he needed a beer. Which right now sound like just what he needed to hit the spot, and he knew just the bar to head to.
Dean was walking back to his baby making his way out of the cemetery, he already knew this wasn’t the place he needed to hit. But there was a few others in town that he knew he needed to look into. Dean wished he didn’t have to search them all together, he hates being in cemeteries. They just bring back bad memories, thinking about the day he lost Sam to hell, or when they had to say good bye to there dad after talking on yellow eyes. But the big one is that they are there all the time, having to burn the ashes of someone that once was. Which to them can be sad at times, depending on who and what they are putting to rest.
As Dean was walking back he could help but hear the sounds of crunching branches, he knew that something now was in fact out there. He began to head back that way, noticing someone off in the distance. It was a girl calling out Dean’s brother name, the question was why? Maybe she knew someone with the same name, but then again maybe not. He had made it close to the girl giving her a big smile. “Sorry babe but I’m the better looking brother, the names is Dean, Dean Winchester. Is there something I can help you with?” He asked her sounding just like James bond in away. “What are you doing out here all alone little lady, are you in trouble?”

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] Chelcie really didn’t have any idea whether he was Dean or Sam, or even if he was one of the Winchester’s for the matter, if he wasn’t then this was going to be slightly awkward in a big way. Awkward in the fact that she had just yelled somebody’s name out in the middle of a cemetery, at night and coming up from behind, that totally wasn’t weird and stalkerish material. But what could she do, from what she remember of a photo this did look to be Sam, and Chelcie was fairly certain that he was as she walked closer to the man, and in hindsight she probably should have paid a bit more attention to the photo, if only to be sure that this was Sam Winchester, the younger and taller brother.
Now that the young hunter thought about it she had probably lucked out finding one of the brothers tonight, this meant that she would be able to get help taking out the vampire nest, once and if she found it and after she would get to know Sam Winchester, somebody who her adoptive father and told her more than enough about, to know that he was really something. Well this was if Sam didn’t mind talking to a newbie hunter as herself, but hopefully he wouldn’t after all they were on the same side, slowly killing those bastard demons and Chelcie couldn’t wait for the day to come, when they finally won. All demons, no matter if they were ghosts, ghouls, vampires or other another sort, they all were the lowest beings, in Chelcie’s opinion, werewolves or some other supernatural being we’re all just like dirt, worse than that even and vampires were clearly at the top of the list.
The young hunter groaned as the man corrected himself, saying that he was the better looking brother. What her adoptive father had failed to mention to her however, was that Dean Winchester thought himself a bit of a charmer, twitching was all she could do to not get frustrated with having been mentioned as babe. Chelcie then twitched for a second time as Dean called her a little lady, but not stopping there, because Dean actually implied that she was in trouble. “What makes you assume that I am in trouble, is it so hard to believe that I’m here about a vampire nest. Dean Winchester.” The young hunter told the elder Winchester brother, clearly frustrated with being called a little lady, and that Dean implied that she couldn’t handle herself.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean wondered why this girl was looking for him, it seemed a bit odd for someone just to be looking for Sam and Dean like that. But then again maybe she knew someone that knew them and was in need for help. But then again maybe not, in way she almost looked like she could be a hunter. But then again Dean didn’t think they came this pretty, last hunter that looked this good was Jo. Someone that Dean still misses to this day, she was one kick as hunter and a great friend. She was like the sister that Dean never had. To this day he still feels like her death was his fault, and wishes there was someway to bring her back. But sadly Dean knew that would never happen. But then again maybe it was good that she was dead, at peace not having to see and worry to how this world had became.
Dean wondered why she was all the way out here, and if she was a hunter were they after the same thing? She seemed a little taken with the fact that he called little lady, which told him she was not for the complements. Dean made a mental note to stop right there seeing that she wasn’t having it. But she told it all saying that she was out looking for the neat as well, Dean knew it we had a hunter on there hands. “I’m sorry I had no idea you were a hunter, but no its not hard I was out here looking for the same thing myself.” He told her. “Sounds like me and Sam are famous, I mean by the way you were calling Sam’s name. But can I ask what made you to believe I was Sam or well me.”
It was cool getting to run into another hunter, it gave someone new for Dean to work with. Plus he could use some help on this one, vampires are not a force to be reckon with, nor were they an easy case. So having some help was going to be nice, and maybe she knew more on what was going on here then he did. “So where are you on this case, I mean found out any info on the nest?” He asked her.

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] Chelcie wasn’t completing sure which Winchester brother was in front of her however, she did know it was one of the two and being that she only had one crappy knife, she was hoping he would be able to help her out on this one. It was on her for not buying new weapons, although this was hardly her fault, because she didn’t exactly have the most cash that she has ever had, being so far from her old home she was only really roughing it, literally, it was a good thing that she wasn’t a high maintenance type of girl. Now though she was beginning to suspect that this was older brother Dean, his ego had been enough to tell her that because even without knowing either brother, Chelcie has still heard about what the two are like as individuals, and it wasn’t unlike Dean to saying he was better looking.
“Don’t mention it; I haven’t really seen any hunters. Besides my adoptive dad but he doesn’t hunt any more so he doesn’t really count.” She told Dean, he’s probably seen and known a lot more then she has, because Chelcie really hadn’t met another hunter or somebody who even knew about the evil in the world, Dean as it stood, he was the first hunter that she had ever come across and granted the young woman hasn’t been at this for long, Chelcie still couldn’t believe that she hasn’t found anyone like her until now. “What made me believe you were Sam?” She wasn’t really asking him as she walked toward him, but rather playing with the more experienced hunter in the non flirtatious way. “I heard that Sam was the more handsome of you two, I guess you really can’t believe all that you hear” she told her older hunter equivalent.
Then came the question that asked where she was on the vampire case, Chelcie sort of just froze unable to think what to say but not because she was nervous about hunting vampires, or talking to Dean even though that’s probably how it seemed to him to her displeasure. She didn’t want to seem like some newbie hunter, especially not in front of one of the Winchester brothers because she was capable, even if she was still considered a newbie hunter. “All I have is that there is some vamp nest around here, maybe it was a good thing tonight actually. It just so happened that I got sent to this small farm boy feel town, I was hoping that you two striking brothers would be able to train me more. Well that’s what my adoptive dad told me to say anyway.”

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean knew for a fact that she was going to need help, by the looks of the blade she was using she wasn't going to get very far at all on taking on Vamps. But he was pretty sure she all ready knew that by now just by the way she had looked at his blade. She seemed like maybe she was new at this, just by the way she was acting. Dean never had met her before or heard of her for that matter. But then again there are so many hunters out these days Dean sadly can't know them all, as much as he does try to.
Dean was wondering who she was talking about or who her dad was, or why she was hunting still when her dad wasn't. Dean could tell there was a reason and a back story he just needed to find out what it was. "So your dad was a hunter then? Can I ask who ?" Dean asked her. "And what made him decide to quit the life even though I can say that I blame him really." Dean wishes so much that he could just leave, live the life that he has always wanted with Lisa and his Son. But sadly it don't work that way, Dean has a job that he has to do and its not just something he can walk away from. There are to many monsters out there that Dean has to keep his family safe from.
Dean began to wonder who the hell would even say that, everyone knows Dean is the better one of them both. Not to mention has way better luck with the ladies then him, but Dean will never tell Sam that. Plus its not like he don't all ready know it, he is well aware. "Yeah you can't believe all that you hear, because last I checked I was better looking of the two." Dean said with a smile
Dean could tell that she was in fact new at this, all thought Dean really didn't have much more to go on ether. All he knew was there was nest somewhere in this town in a cemetery. Sam was back at home trying to find out the rest on it, which so far was a bit of a no go, As For training the girl he didn't know what to Say, Dean wasn't really a teacher. That was more were Bobby came in, but lately he has been busy MIA so he wasn't going to be much help to her. "Your dad told you what? Well I can tell you this I don't know if I'm really the best at teaching anyone." Dean then felt bad hopping he didn't kill any of the girls hopes and dreams that she may have. " I mean I can help as best that I can, what is it you need help with? Learning how to shoot, kill what?" Dean asked her.

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] At least Dean wasn’t somebody to turn a woman in the other direction at the signs of danger, not that neither were in any danger as of yet, they both were hunting the same thing though. Chelcie was even willing to follow the man’s league on this hunt, even while she usually worked solo, she had forgot to stock up on weapons, and the only one she had being the knife clutched in her hand, the blonde needed all the help she could get. Also Chelcie wanted to keep an eye on this Dean guy, maybe he could also introduce her to his brother, just as Harper had instructed she do.
“Not really my father, technically, Harper’s more of a very, very close family friend. Something to do with him saving my actual father 's ass forever ago,” Chelcie said deciding to clear up who her father was and wasn’t, the memory of Jacob still brought tears to her eyes to this day. But tears was something that she didn’t allow anyone to see her shed, especially not while she was in front of a Winchester, “Harper was the one who raised me though, since from my early teenage years.” Chelcie said continuing to feel Dean in on her life story. “My real father, well family, my mom and younger brother were all attacked and killed by a vampire, a vampire that led me to this small town. But anyway I don’t believe I answered your question, Harper was the hunter in the family, well is, if he’s still alive that is.”
Chelcie couldn’t hold back from rolling her eyes at the other more experienced hunter, this was definitely Dean Winchester, with his last statement about being better looking than Sam, Harper told her all about them. Their feats and who they were both like as men, Chelcie knew about Dean’s ego and Sam’s brains, it could also be assumed that was why the two made such a good pair as hunters, one did the smart work, while the other looked pretty. “Ah uh, well I guess it’s a shame then. I think larger guys are more attractive.” She said, teasing the man outright.
Now that she was able to think about what she had just asked, about the Winchesters being able to teach her to become a more adept hunter. Chelcie realized that she hadn’t given the man much to go on at all, but had simply chucked that whole slab of information on him, probably not the greatest thing to do when it came to first meetings. “Well, I guess teaching was the wrong word. I guess Harper would’ve meant mentors, he was pretty sure they you two could help me more than he ever could anywho.” Chelcie said keeping a casual approach, as she tried to explain a bit more as to why she had come to this small town. “But down to business, I assume you know where these vamp-bastards are, cos I sure as hell have no clue.” She said getting down to business.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean had never really been a teacher to anyone, so he didn’t really know what he would be doing here. But he was going to try as best he could to help her, because he didn’t want to send this girl on her way with no help. But he wondered if she knew it was going to take more then one session to help her, it was going to take a lot to help her become a faster yet better hunter. But most of all it was going to take time, lots of time. It has taken nothing but time for Sam and Dean to learn all that they knew.
Dean was trying to think if he knew a Harper, the name sounded so familiar almost like Dean might have met him. But at the same time he meets so many hunters over time its hard to remember them all. “The name sounds a bit familiar, but I know so many hunters so its hard to say.” He told her. It was sad to hear that her whole family had been killed by vampires, Dean wishes so much that all the damn vampires would just all disappear and die from the planet. They are nothing but a disease that is destroying innocent people. “I’m sorry to hear about your family, but you said something about if he is still alive? Have you lost contact with him?” Dean asked her. In a lost like tone.
She still was teasing Dean about who was the better looking one, she had said something about taller men being better looking which Dean didn’t really understand. “Yeah I guess if you are into giant freaks that is.” he told her with a laugh. “But no Sam is a good guy, you will have to meet him soon. I’m sure he would be willing to show you a few hunting tips as well.” He told her.
Dean had never really been a mentor to someone, but he couldn’t lie he liked the sound of that. It made Dean feel important almost like someone to look up to and he liked that. “Well mentors I cant lie I like the sound of that. Sure I me and Sam will help you with anything you need, just let me know I’m your man.” He said with a smile. She hoped that Dean knew were some of these vampires were hiding out, but the truth was Dean was kind of clueless. Sam and him were still trying to find where the blood suckers were hanging out. But so far nada. “Well kind of well…no. But Sam and I are looking into it, you have any info so far?” He asked. “I know one thing vampires have been hiding in this here cemetery. The question is, it’s the same nest we have been after?”

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] She didn’t like to dwell on what had happened to her entire family, it was just easier to cope that way, that and the thought that if she killed every vampire that she came across, she was sure to kill the one that kill her folks and younger brother. She didn’t know who the vampire was, or anything about him, or her or even if they were in Richmond, all she could do was have hope it was all she could have, and the thought of sticking a piece of wood through the creature’s heart. For the most part revenge was why she was hunting, revenge was also the reason why she didn’t stay in any one town for an extended period of time, revenge was the reason she got out of bed this morning, and revenge was the reason why her training was so intense.
“Forget it there’s nothing I can do about now.” She said waving him off casually, and quite emotionless too though croaky, not showing emotion was a whole lot easier then to dwell on that what she couldn’t change. She knew what she had to do, that was to kill the bastard creature that took her family, she certainly wasn’t about to open up about losing them to anyone anytime soon. “Nah I don't mean it like that. Harper I guess you could call a hermit, he rarely goes into town, I think he only had one telephone even if that. He could with computers though.”
Laughing when he called his brother a giant freak, it reminded her a bit of how she was like with her own brother. She felt like she could relate to Dean in that sense, both of them was older siblings and though hers mightn’t have been hunting, she still did everything she could to protect Casey, just like she assumed Dean did. It was kind of nice to see that the two must still have that kind of relationship, and even despite everything they went through on a daily basis as hunters.
“No, I don’t. At least I don’t know anything more then you two probably do, this cemetery is the only thing I have. Though I thought I caught a glimpse of something moving, over toward the road.” She said, and she wasn’t too sure what she had seen, if it even was a vampire, it could have just been somebody walking along for all she knew, Chelcie was only really going with her gut feeling when she had brought it up. “So big boy, care to pass that knife of yours and I’ll show you how a woman handles a thing like that, unless of course you don’t want a woman showing you up?” Chelcie said with a wink.

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Dean could tell by the way she acted she was not one that dealt with emotions very well, but that was ok Dean was the same way. He hid how he truly felt from everyone, he has always been that way. He never let Sam or his dad see how he truly felt. Now if his mom was here maybe that would be different, he knows that because of the feeling he had seeing her in heaven. In that moment he felt like he could tell her the world, open up to her, he felt so safe when he had her in that moment. But it really hurts knowing he will never have that back, in less he dies and goes to heaven. Which with being a Winchester, Dean really doesn’t see that as an option.
Dean let it go knowing she really didn’t want to speak of It anymore, insead he wanted to chill and get to know her more. She seemed like a pretty cool hunter that Dean would love to help put, he was always one looking for new partners. “Well I’m glad you still have some contact with family.” he told her with a smile. “Good to know you know someone good with computers. I suck with them if wasn’t for my brother I would be lost, all though over the years he has showed me a thing or two with them. But I have to tell you I still don’t get face book.” He said with a confused look.
She said she saw something moving up the road always, Dean knew they needed to go check it out. It could be an answer to helping with this case. “Well I say we check it out, it could be a vampire and who knows maybe the nest is near by there?” She said something about wanting to use Dean’s blade, which made him smile. “No here by all means show me what a woman can do with it, but just so you knows that my balde and now one can handle it like I can.” She said with laugh. Dean then began to follow her, making there way up to where he said the noise was coming from.

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] Chelcie had never been someone to open up greatly with feelings, she had no trouble talking about what has happened in her past, but when it came to talking about emotions that wasn’t something she had a tendency of doing. People have tried getting her to open up, her parents though this usually had ended badly, but since when did any daughter enjoy opening up to their parents, she and they had the typical parent daughter relationship, where there by it was embarrassing to talk to one another. Her friends had also tried and while they had more luck then her parents, she was still able to wave her feelings off; maybe this might have been different if she had more girl friends. Chelcie was a tomboy in every sense of the word, the majority of her friends had been guys, and just generally found them easier to be around, and the last thing you would see the short blonde in was a dress, it was only natural that she wasn’t the best speaker, when it came to opening up about her feelings considering this.
“Isn’t that all you can really trust in this world.” She said knowing how strong the Winchester bond was, Dean and Sam are both well known among the hunters community, at least from what she’s heard. This probably had something to do with their father mainly, nearly everyone she’s spoken to either knew or knew of John Winchester, and the exploits Harper had told her about Dean and Sam were nothing short of extraordinary, probably also why Dean’s ego was so large. She mightn’t have family still alive but she did have Harper, who she was certain had to be, she also knew that the older hunter in front of her would agree, because sure you could trust people but when it counts, family never let you down. “I like to think my kickass attitude makes up for my lack of computer know how.” She said jokingly but also proud, she may only be small but she had an ego that could match the best of them.
“Who knows, maybe I’ll impress myself a Winchester.” Chelcie said knowingly walking past the man, though in all truthfulness it had only been show talk, talking herself up to somebody like Dean was something she couldn’t pass up. She was hoping that he would be able to show her some stuff during this hunt, she certainly wouldn’t pass help up from Dean, or Sam; it was why she was in Richmond in the first place.
As the hunter pair approached who they could now see was a vampire, a brunette who looked like she was rivalling her small size. Scavenging around in the dirt, weird, or so Chelcie thought she didn’t know a reason why a vampire would be searching dirt for something. “Ya’ know Deano, I would ask if she’s lost her wedding wing but judging by her looks I doubt she’d have one.” Chelcie told Dean obviously making fun of the demons face.
This was all she had time to do, before the female vampire bum rushed her with an angry growl. “Ugh” Chelcie fell hard on her back and the vampire on top of her, mocking a creature that obviously had a strength advantage wasn’t the smartest thing to do, she could see that now. Struggling against the superior might of the creature, Chelcie was only barely keeping it’s fangs from biting down on her throat; the vampire had her well grounded.

Which is why they have always been there for one another, backing each other up. Which mad Dean wonder if Sam was OK? He talked about meeting Dean here but still no sign of him. Dean then took out his phone to see if Sam had gotten in touch with him, which he had which could explain everything. It was Sam saying that he got caught up with Sarah and couldn't make it. Great Dean is here working vampires and Sam is busy with girls, oh well he taught his brother well he guessed. Dean would much rather be with a girl as well then here, but someone got to do the job.
Dean like the way she was thinking, he was the same way. He hope that his kick ass attitude would make up for his lack in computers, which most the time it did. "Yeah I'm right there with you, I like to think all my looks make up for that as well." He said with a smile. "Plus if there is anything I want to find out I look it up in a book, I mean don't get my wrong time and time again I use a computer. But its not always for research mostly for pleasure. Dean wasn't going to say anything else, he didn't need to let her know that he liked to look up Cartoon season Porn.
"I'm sure you will, I'm dying to see your skills." Said Dean. Dean was interested to see how Chelcie would do taking on this vampire, they were getting ready to approach it slowly as they could see it in the distance. Dean had his gun out ready to back her up at any cost, god only knows what this vampire might do.They had walked close enough kidding around to the point they knew the vampire could hear. "Yeah she is pretty ugly so there is no way anyone has married her ass." Dean said with a laugh. "All though when we are finished with her she will never find a man" That was Dean que letting her know they could strike the vamp.

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] The fall from the vampire forcing them to the ground had been brutal; the creature had full on bum rushed Chelcie, landing on top of her. She had a lack of breath, and because of being having the wind been forced from her, she was also disoriented it was a true wonder how she was able to keep the other woman from biting down on her neck. She was utterly defenceless, as the vampire knelt down straddling her weight against Chelcie’s, and for once in her life this scared the normally bold teenage girl, felt like an ordinary girl who was supposed to be finishing her senior year of high school.
That was what Harper had given to her, more than anything else really, more than being a father figure when that vamp-bastard had taken her own. Training her as a hunter had given her confidence, fear of nothing because if she wasn’t afraid of everything that was out there, in the night, then she was able to do anything, finding this vampire had given her purpose that wasn’t just for the sake of revenge, and once she finally found him, before she drove a stake through his black heart, she would be sure to thank the vampire, thank him for what he had given to her. For being the driving force for everything that she did, he was the reason in the first place why she was the hunter that she was, Chelcie might be going to the University of Richmond now, but she will never get that old life back but she still couldn’t fully hate him. She did despise the vampire for taking her entire family from her, but he had still given her a lot to live for, for she would also thank him for being the reason why she was the hunter that she was, and when this was all said and done and the vampire was nothing more than dust in the wind, she would continue hunting, because now it was all that she knew.
Screaming and squirming from underneath the other woman, Chelcie did all she could to at least touch her hand to the blade of the machete. If she was somehow able to manage that, then maybe she would be able to scrape the blade back to the comfort of gripping it. However doing so was being proven an impossible odd, finding that she was struggling to contend with the vampire, she wasn’t able to focus her attention on anything else for long, and found her gaze constantly being drawn to the vampire’s face. As the vampire threw her arms to either side, exposing her neck bare she gasped, “Dean!” before feeling her delicate flesh being pierced, as her hands subconsciously came to the vampire, in a futile attempt to throw her off.
