------------------ ------------------ Today was just one of those days where Sarah was bored and she really did need something to do. She hated being one of those people who stayed inside all the time, she liked going out everyday but she did have her lazy days where she would go in her jammies and keep warm under a blanket while watching a movie. Sarah was going through her contact list and she found Lisa. The two had a good time on the double date and Lisa seemed like a really great girl to be friends with. Sarah clicked the girl's name and phoned her. "Hey Lisa, it's Sarah I was just wondering if you wanted to go to Richmond Café for some coffee or tea whatever you feel like," she said with a laugh. The girl had agreed and Sarah got ready then headed there.
It didn't take too long to get there since Sarah took a shortcut. She could have taken a taxi but she hadn't really taken one in a while, well the last time she took one was when she had her luggage and was going to the boarding house. She really needed to get her own place, she loved her friends at the house of course but she definitely needed her own apartment. The house was already jam packed and she felt bad that she was taking some of the room so it was time to look for something new, maybe she would ask Lisa if there were any good apartments for sale since she had been in the town for a while. She had the money of course although she would need to find a job in this town since she was staying there for probably a really long time.
Sarah had arrived at the place and went inside to get a table. It wasn't too busy but there were still quite a lot of people for the afternoon. She wasn't going to get anything just yet, she was going to wait for Lisa then both of them could go up and get something. Sarah didn't really know what she wanted, she wasn't the biggest fan of coffee but a major fan of tea so maybe something along the lines of that? She wasn't too sure but she would figure it out by the time Lisa got here which was hopefully soon. Sarah looked at her phone and saw a text message from Dean explaining what exactly the show doctor sexy M.d was and how Lisa knew he watched it. The two brothers were just a handful really, how her and Lisa handled their boyfriends she had no clue then again Sarah was in love with Sam.
She started looking through her contacts and looked at the contact which was labeled 'Daddy' she needed to call him at some point, she was hoping it would be this week but she had no idea if she could do it. There was a lot to tell him and a lot not to tell him. She had to introduce him to a few people especially Sam and she had to make up an excuse on why she had never phoned, she needed to think about a lot but right now she just had to focus on today and getting to know her new friend. ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! -------------------------- -------------------------- It was the type of day that Lisa loved. The sun was shining, she had the day off, and Ben was off at a friend's house, which meant that she head the house all to herself, which meant that she could laze around in her pajamas, which was what she was doing now. Not that she minded hanging out with her son, but she was glad that her son had made friends here so that on days that he didn't have school, he had the option of going out of the house if he wanted to...as long as he left a note or called her to tell her where he was going to be. And he had. He had actually awakened her, saying that he had been invited to spend the day with one of his friends and she had agreed. Okay, granted, she had been half asleep so she supposed that it shouldn't have really counted, but oh well. What was done, was done. Besides, Ben probably needed some space after she and Dean had dropped the bombshell of Dean being his father. Luckily, he had reacted favorably to their news. I'm really glad that Ben was okay with what we told him. I don't know what I would've done if he hadn't been happy with the new, she thought to herself. Well, she supposed that they would've dealt with it, but it was nice to know that they didn't have to deal with any unhappiness as he had been ecstatic at the news, though upset with her from keeping it from him...which she could totally understand. She would've been upset with her too if their situations were reversed. Her musings were interrupted when she heard her cell phone ring and she went over to the table and checked the caller i.d. before answering. "Hey, Sarah," she greeted. "What's up?" she wondered and then grinned as the other woman invited her out to the Richmond Cafe to get a coffee or tea, whichever she preferred. "Yeah, that sounds awesome. I'll meet you there in a few minutes," she responded. With that, she hung up and went back into her bedroom and quickly changed into a dark blue shirt, black jeans, and white tennis shoes. She quickly brushed her hair so that it at least looked presentable and then grabbed her keys off of her dresser, placed her phone in her jeans pocket, and then went out of the house, locking the door behind her. Before getting into the car, she quickly texted Ben to let him know where she was so that he wouildn't get concerned if he came home before she did. Then, she put the keys in the ignition, started the car, and drove off, heading in the direction of the Richmond Cafe. When she finally got to the restaurant, she parked in the lot, turned off the ignition, took the keys out of the ignition, putting them into her jeans pocket, and then walked into the building, and scanned the room for the other woman. When she finally spotted her, she walked up to the table and sat in the seat across from her. "Hey, how are you?" she asked. --------------------------

------------------ ------------------ Sarah was actually really that Lisa had agreed to hangout with the woman because well one Sarah was bored and two she wanted to get to know Lisa. The date wasn't too long for them to actually get to know each other considering they were a lot occupied with their own boyfriends but of course they still talked to one another. Today would be relaxing though, there were no heels involved then again she was wearing boots but at leas there was no dress to get in the way of walking or sitting down, it was a relaxing day which was what Sarah loved. Two friends enjoying a drink although Sarah would prefer a beer but she did like her tea every now and then especially at night.
Lisa actually came at the café pretty quickly which made Sarah happy because she wasn't alone for a long time. "I'm good," she said with a smile. "Just been doing nothing all week besides you know," she didn't want to say it out loud since people would think she was crazy but she could use a certain. "Patrolling as usual and that's basically it," she said with a small sigh. She hadn't really seen Sam for a day or so which kind of put her in a slum mood, yeah the girl was definitely in love if she was thinking about him all the time and wanted to be with him all the time. "How are you though?" She asked curiously. She wanted to know what had been going since the last time they saw each other.
"I guess it's time to order whatever we're ordering," she said and stood up walking in line and waiting her turn to get something. She wasn't the biggest fan of coffee so she needed something that was light. She asked for an iced passion tea and a banana nut muffin. Once she back to the table she took a sip of her drink. "You know I never got to learn about your son on the date. What's he like? All I imagine is a mini Dean to be honest," she said with a laugh. She just wanted to know more about the woman and actually become her friend. She ripped a piece of her muffin off and put it in her mouth. So far she was enjoying herself and she was glad Lisa and her were hanging out.
"Was it hard keeping that secret from Dean and Ben for years? I don't mean to be nosy I guess I'm just curious," she said hoping the woman was okay with her asking the question. "We can switch topics if you want," she said with a small smile. She didn't want to make things awkward or anything like that by asking a personal question. It must have been hard for Lisa to raise a kid on her own though. Sarah had never truly thought about kids, she didn't know if she would have them because well she was a slayer and thinking about the future...she couldn't now since she had her duties but maybe somewhere down the line...she could see it but for now she had to focus on the present for now and help her friends. ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! -------------------------- -------------------------- Lisa was definitely glad that Sarah had invited her out. Not that she hadn't been enjoying herself at home, but this at least got her out of the house and this way she could get to know the other woman better. Oh sure, they had talked some on the impromptu double date, but they hadn't really gotten a chance to actually talk, so this would hopefully give them a better chance to get to know one another. This will be good. I'll be able to get to know her and she'll be able to get to know me, she thought to herself. And that was something that she was looking forward to. Lisa then smiled as Sarah replied that she was good and that she hadn't done much except slaying and patrolling, though she didn't use the word "Slaying", which Lisa could completely understand. Destroying vampires and fighting monsters wasn't exactly a conversation that you could speak of too loudly in public without someone thinking you were nuts. Then, the other woman asked her how she was doing. "I've been good. I've been working in the office, you know just the normal routine. I had the day off and Ben's over at a friend's today, so I was just lazing around the house. But I'm really glad you called me. It was probably a good idea to get out of the house," she answered with a grin. I probably would've gone crazy after a while, she thought to herself. When Sarah suggested that it was time that they ordered, Lisa nodded. "To tell the truth, I've been craving their chicken salad for a while now," she admitted. And it was true. Granted, it wasn't the same caliber as hers, but it was pretty decent. And besides, it would be nice to not have to make her own lunch. She then followed the woman to the line and ordered an unsweetened tea along with a chicken salad and a fruit plate. They had just gotten back to the table and sat down when Sarah asked her about Ben, wondering if it had been hard to keep the truth from them, adding that she didn't mean to be nosy and that she didn't have to answer her. "No, it's perfectly fine," she assured. "Well, when I first got pregnant, I wasn't really sure, but I did some mental math and he was the only that added up. And I didn't really know where Dean was anyways, so it wasn't like I could call him and tell him. And Ben---how do you explain something like that to your son anyways? I mean, when they're young, you don't really know how much they'll understand and when Dean visited the first time, I didn't really know how to explain. Is that making sense?" she wondered. --------------------------

------------------ ------------------ So far the two were having a good time, well Sarah at least was. She didn't think she'd be making new friends considering she was apart of the supernatural but here Lisa was, then again Lisa knew about it because of Dean most likely. But nevertheless Sarah was glad to make a new friend and was glad that her new friend was Lisa. The two seemed to be able to be comfortable right away like they had been old friends. It was a good thing they didn't hate each other or that would be an awkward holiday whenever they saw each other. Sarah assumed that she'd be seeing Lisa a lot more considering they lived in the same town and they probably didn't live too far from each other, so it would make for an easy visit.
Sarah laughed, "Yeah, I know what you mean. Sometimes I go stir-crazy if I have nothing to do in the house," she told the girl. She could stay home for a long period of time if she was busy cooking or something but if she literally had nothing to do and all she could do was watch television or read a book then she rather go outside and enjoy the fresh air, even if it was raining she enjoyed just walking in it. Rainy days were probably the best days to walk out just because it felt good especially when she went on a jog in it, it just felt good to be out in it but it hadn't rained recently. "It must be stressful being a mother though I couldn't imagine," there had to be extra paranoia considering Lisa knew about the supernatural heck Sarah would be paranoid as hell if she had a kid.
"That actually sounds really good," maybe Sarah should order that as well but she decided not to, she'd be good with the muffin but once they started walking back to their seats she said, "Maybe I should have ordered something that would actually fill me up," she said with a laugh while looking at her muffin, well it was pretty big for a muffin so that was good at least. Besides if she was hungry after the muffin she could just get herself something else like a panini.
"Yeah, I completely understand," she said with a smile. It made perfect sense to Sarah actually. "I mean you hadn't seen Dean in like years right? That's not something easy to explain to someone who isn't around a lot but at least you told him now," she said to the girl. It was a good thing because Ben had a father in his life and it seemed like Lisa had the love of her life back. "The three of you can be a family again and that's all that matters now," she took a sip of her drink. At the back of her mind she was still wondering what it was like to have a family, kids and a husband but she tried shaking it out. "And the good thing about it all is that this does seem like one of those towns where it's good to raise your kid," once again thinking about family, time for a new topic. "I think I'll be staying here a while so I'll probably have to start looking for a job," she said with a sigh. She wasn't sure what she was exactly looking for maybe join something that dealt with art? ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! -------------------------- -------------------------- Well, it would appear that Sarah was of the same mindset when it came to hanging around the house as she agreed that she sometimes went stir-crazy with nothing to do in the house. "Oh, I know, right? Especially if it's quiet or something and you don't have a good book to read," she said, nodding in agreement. "I mean, when Ben's in the house, I at least have some noise so it's not so weird," she continued. And that was certainly the truth. Oh sure, the quiet was nice sometimes, but as long as Ben had his homework done and kept the volume at a decent decibel, she didn't really mind it when he played his video games for hours on end. Hey, he was a kid and he should act like a kid...especially with what he knew about the world. If he was acting normally, he wasn't worrying about monsters coming to hurt him, which is what she preferred: him acting like he didn't have a care in the world. Because that's what boys were supposed to do. Play video games, worry about schoolwork...normal stuff, not being kidnapped by strange creatures. And as long as he did that, she was happy. When Sarah commented that it must be hard being a mother, Lisa gave a half shrug. "Sometimes, but it's definitely worth it," she answered. Did she sometimes wish that her life had turned out differently? At times, sure. Would she change anything if she could? Not a chance. Ben was her life. She could lose anything and everything else, but she'd absolutely die if anything ever happened to her son. Lisa smiled as Sarah commented that the chicken salad sounded, but she ultimately chose a muffin and then said maybe she should've chosen more filling. "Well, you could always go back and get it if you really want it," she reminded. That was the great thing about this place. You paid a set price for your meal and you could go back as many times as you wanted. It was a good set up if you asked her. Not that anyone probably would, but yeah, anyways...moving on... Thankfully, Sarah seemed to understand what she was saying, commenting on the fact that Lisa hadn't seen Dean in years, and that her situation couldn't be easy to explain to someone who wasn't around and that at least she had told him. "Yeah. I was really nervous. I wasn't sure if he'd be angry at me," she confessed. Not that she would've blamed him for being angry, but she was glad that he had been happy. "I mean, I wouldn't blame him if he had thought that I was trying to keep Ben from him...which I wasn't---not really! I just---I never expected to see him again! And then he showed up at Ben's party and---" she quickly cut herself off. "Sorry. I'm rambling," she apologized. Lisa didn't want to hear her going on and on about the situation with Dean and Ben as she was pretty sure that wasn't the reason Sarah had invited her to this little outing. Then, she smiled as the other woman stated that they could be a family again. Yes, a family. That's exactly what she, Ben, and Dean were: a family. Maybe they were a little more paranoid than your average family, but then again, the average family didn't know what they knew. And besides, being average was overrated. She'd much rather have the life that she had now. It worked for her and that was all that mattered. She then nodded as the other woman stated that Richmond seemed like the best place to raise a kid and that since she was staying a while in Richmond, it'd probably be a good idea to find a job. "Yeah, it might help just a little bit," she teased. She was having a great time talking to the woman. It felt kind of nice to have someone else she could talk to about the Dean/Ben situation without having to hide details from her. She couldn't really explain this kind of stuff to her other friends as they didn't know what Dean did. And if she had anything to say about it, they would never know. It certainly wasn't any of their business and besides, they were safer not knowing. But at least when she was talking with Sarah, she didn't feel so alone... --------------------------

------------------ ------------------ "Exactly! It sucks and I know what you mean in that sense. I don't have children of course but I do share a house with a bunch of slayers and watchers so the noise is just really loud," she told the girl. That house was so busy, it was a good thing that it was a big enough house to support everyone but it was way too crowded and that wasn't the greatest thing because well Sarah was a girl after all and she needed her space and her privacy. "But yeah loud noise is better than no noise then again the quiet can be nice if I'm reading a book or just need time to think," if she wanted to think in the house then she would but usually she would go on walks to think.
It seemed as if there was a lot to think about nowadays like the whole loving Sam or just her thinking about life and how she moved to Richmond. So far moving to Richmond was the best and smartest thing that the girl had did. She got to see the man she loved again and all her friends were here and now she was making a new friend who really did seem great. In reality her life was good and luck was truly on the girl's side which was what she liked. To make this even better would be talking to her ad and them being able to reconnect because that man is an important figure in her life, so hopefully one day she could see him, she missed him a lot but there was no need to look at sad stuff when there was so much happiness going on in this town.
"Yeah, I could," she looked back at the cash wondering if she should get it but decided that there was no point in ordering it now, for now she was content with her muffin but she wasn't sure how long that would be in her stomach for. The good thing was that it did look like a quality muffin so she wasn't expecting anything bad from it. "But, I think I'll survive for now," she told the girl. She wasn't on a diet or anyting, she just didn't want anything anyway and besides she was the slayer and going on patrol gave her the biggest appetite and other things...but there was no need to go into further detail for that. Being a slayer was definitely a lot different than being just normal if she could put it that way. A lot had changed since she had become one.
Sarah listened to what Lisa was saying trying to grasp her reasoning behind it and it made perfect sense to Sarah. Sarah laughed, "It's fine. He was on a life or death mission if anything so him coming back you didn't wan your son to get his hopes high and you didn't want to be the one to stop Dean hunting with Sam," she understood and it was a hard subject really. She remembered how Sam was a little bit angry that Lisa would keep a secret like that and Sarah knew why Sam was pissed because well he was the little brother he always cared for his older brother. It must have been hard for him knowing that he had another family member and kept it away from Dean and Ben, it was seen at the end of the date, at leas things didn't escalate since it got interrupted.
Sarah laughed, she was enjoying herself with her new friend. If anything that two should have hung out right after the date considering Sarah had to drive Lisa home that night. "I'll probably start looking around soon, I just have to find out what I'm actually interested in besides the arts," she said with a slight sigh but decided to change the subject a bit. "You know I have to admit that I'm really glad that both boys aren't going anywhere, when I first ran into Sam that was the first thought that came into my mind well actually...I was thinking about kissing him first," she said with a smile she really did love that man. She still remembered that night and how close they got because of the story he shared with her about his life. "You and Dean never told me and Sam how you guys had found each other again," she wanted to know, she was pretty interested. ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! -------------------------- -------------------------- Lisa nodded as Sarah said that she understood---not that she had kids---but she was living with a houseful of other slayers and watchers and that the noise could get loud. Oh, man. I can just imagine, she thought to herself, though she didn't say that out loud. After all, it wasn't like she knew what it was like to have to fight the Supernatural. When Ben had been kidnapped, at first, she hadn't even realized anything was wrong, but then she had realized that something had taken Ben's place and she had been frightened. It had been Dean who had saved him and the other kids. Don't get her wrong, she was grateful for the rescue, but a part of her wondered if she could've done more in the way of helping out with the rescue. Then again, she probably would've just been in the way. "Oh, I bet," she said. It was probably even noisier than when Ben had his video games blaring. It must be weird to go from living by yourself to go to living in a house full of people, she thought to herself. "I didn't get a chance to ask you the other night, but how exactly did you become a Slayer? I mean, how did it come about? Was it after the case with the haunted painting?" she wondered. Hopefully, she didn't her asking. The last thing she wanted to do was offend Sarah or make her uncomfortable. She then smiled as the other woman stated that she could get more food, but ultimately decided that she was good for the time being. "Okay, if you're sure. After all, you can always change your mind," she commented. That was the great thing about this place, it gave you all sorts of options and they didn't mind if you came back and got something else...which she had often done in the past. Lisa grinned as Sarah laughed and then stated that she understood as he had been involved in a life and death mission and that she probably hadn't wanted to get Ben's hopes up or stop Dean from hunting with Sam. "Exactly. Dean loves the hunt and I'd never want to keep Dean from hunting. He loves it---he lives for it. I---there was a time that I didn't think I could handle it, and I broke up with him," she confessed. And that had been the stupidest thing she had ever done. Well, the second stupidest. The first stupidest thing she had done was to not tell Dean and Ben the truth about each other. After all, a child needed both a mother and a father. And for so long, she had left Ben without a father. Lisa then nodded as Sarah stated that she'd have to start looking around soon, but first she'd have to figure out what she was interested in besides art. "Well, what kind of classes did you take in school? That could possibly give you some ideas," she suggested. Then, she bit her lip. "Sorry. Feel free to tell me to mind my own beeswax," she apologized. Great, Lisa. Open mouth, insert foot, she berated herself. Then, she gave herself a mental shake as Sarah asked her how she and Dean had met up again. "Well, it was about a year or two after Dean stopped by the first---when it was Ben's birthday---and we hadn't seen him for a while. Then all of a sudden, he showed up on my doorstep. He looked---it was bad. I was worried about him and then he told me that Sam had died. He---he was---it wasn't good," she said. "For a while, we were happy together and then he got pulled back into hunting and we tried to make a go of it. But, uh---I got scared, didn't think I could handle it, so I broke up with him. It was stupid. I'm really glad that I got this second chance," she responded. And boy was that ever the truth. She wasn't going to screw this up. Not again... --------------------------

------------------ ------------------ Not only was the slayer house noisy and distracting but the amount of girls in that house was insane. Sarah had never had any siblings obviously so she wasn't used to sharing a bathroom. It was a good thing the girl was patient because the amount of times she had to wait outside of the bathroom so she could brush her teeth or do whatever she needed in there was just horrible. She loved her friends of course but it was definitely time to move where she can be on her own, she was better off that way. Sarah had always been the one to be independent, and she just liked living on her own.
"Actually, not right after but pretty close to it," she told the girl. "After Sam and Dean left I went back to you know pretending that I was okay with Sam being gone and not worrying about the supernatural but there was something different about me, I was a potential slayer and maybe that's why I was okay with helping Sam and Dean with that ghost painting," she said now taking a little breath. "Anyway, one of my soon to be close friends came into town to tell me that I was called as a slayer and I of course didn't know what that meant, I was a bit lost to be honest," she said embarrassingly. "I was a true slayer, I had to train with Satsu and learn more about the supernatural. It definitely was a hell of a ride," she said with a laugh. "But worth it, I'm glad to be who I am and if I didn't accept who I was I wouldn't have ran into Sam again," she said with a slight frown. "The only thing that saddens me about being a slayer is that I have to hide a part of who I am from my dad," it sucked but she had to hide it so she could protect him plus she would be visiting him soon and maybe tell him that she's seeing Sam.
"Really?" She said in a little shock. It seemed like Lisa was the type to handle of that but then again she did have a son and Dean's life was a dangerous life. "Well, it's a good thing you two found each other then," she said with a smile. The couple were actually the cutest and they both seemed extremely happy. It was easy to tell that the two were in love and Sarah knew that Lisa and Dean would be staying together and raising Ben together, they were going to be a happy family even in the supernatural world, it had to be possible to raise a happy family right? She was definitely rooting for the two and she knew that Lisa was a great parent and she knew that Dean would be a great parent as well.
Sarah laughed, "it's fine, it's not a big secret or anything," she told the girl. They were just classes, Lisa could ask about classes. "I've taken history, of course the arts, and there's another one that I took but I can't quite remember," she thought to herself for a moment to think. "I think it was an area in politics, or was it business?" She questioned herself. "Sorry, it's been awhile since I've thought about it all," she hadn't really had time considering she was too busy with her supernatural life to think about the normal life that was there for her. She would have to find her diplomas to see what degrees she had received. She couldn't believe she forgot her achievements in university.
That must have sucked to watch the boy she loved go back into hunting and actually trying to make the long distance work. Long distance was always hard, Sarah had never truly had it but she did have one guy where he was pretty far, not across the world anything just a different university and of course things didn't work out which she was happy about. "Wow, yeah at least you got that second chance. Seems like there have been a lot of second chances in this town," Lisa got Dean and Sarah got Sam in this town, it was like the town was full of luck. Sarah took another piece of her muffin off and then took a sip of her drink. "I really like this town, I just have a good feeling about it for some reason," she could see herself having a life here. "I never got to ask but how come you moved all the way to Richmond? If that's okay asking," she was curious considering Sarah came so she could help her friends with the supernatural but why did Lisa come to Richmond? ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! -------------------------- -------------------------- Lisa nodded as Sarah answered her question, saying that after Sam and Dean had left, she had tried to return to her normal life---pretend that nothing had happened---but that something was different with her and then theorized that maybe being a potential Slayer was the reason that she had been so okay with what Sam and Dean did for a living. "That makes sense. I mean, I was freaked when I learned what Dean did. Well, I was more worried about Ben since at the time a freaking Changeling had kidnapped him, but after that worry had subsided, I had a whole different set of concerns," she responded. And boy, was that ever an understatement. First she had to worry about her son not actually being her son, and then she had to worry about losing her son, and finally, she had to worry about whether or not she would ever see Dean alive again. Then again, at the time, she had been more concerned with making sure Ben was never out of her sight again, something she knew had annoyed her son to no end. She then refocused her attention back on Sarah who told her that a girl who would soon become a close friend had told her about her destiny, and that she had been a little lost. "Hey, I would've been lost too," she responded. After all, how often were you told that you were called to fight evil? She then listened some more as the other woman explained that she had to train with some other Slayers and that she loved what she was doing as it had led her back to Sam, but she hated having to hide the truth from her father. "Yeah, I can see how that would suck," she sympathized. She had to keep the truth about Dean's from her friends and neighbors but she didn't really mind. After all, she understood the importance of secrecy as well as the importance of Dean's job. That's why she no longer minded when he had to leave at all hours. In fact, she was pretty proud that he chose to risk his life for complete strangers. He was a true hero. It was just too bad that not a lot of people knew it. Apparently, Sarah was surprised by her revelation that she had broken up with Dean because she couldn't handle what he was doing at the time, adding that it was good that the two of them had found each other. "Yeah it is good that we found each other again. Ben's pretty mad at me for keeping the fact that Dean's his father a secret. Not that I can blame him. I mean---this is huge and---I kept it from both of them," she responded with a slight shrug. She still didn't know how to proceed from here, but she imagined that they would find some way to figure this out. She grinned as the other woman responded that it was fine that she asked as they were just classes and went on to say that she had taken history, art, and either a business or a politics class, though she couldn't quite remember as it had been a while since she thought about her classes. "I get that. Believe me, I do," she said. After all, who could remember all the classes you took in college? She certainly couldn't. "It's definitely worth looking into though and if you want, I can give you a hand," she continued. Lisa took another bite of her food and then watched as Sarah took another bite of her muffin and then took a drink, before stating that at least she had gotten a second chance and that it seemed like there had been a lot of second chances in town and that she liked the town. "Yeah, it's pretty cool," Lisa agreed with a grin. Then, the other woman asked her why she had moved to Richmond, "We moved here a little after Dean came to us after Sam had died. Dean was worried that we'd be found by other demons and monsters and to be honest, I needed a change of scenery anyways, so we moved here," she replied. And she was so glad that they had. Things were much better here in Indiana, though at times she missed her friends. --------------------------

------------------ ------------------ Sarah was extremely glad to be a slayer, she got to help out people and in a way she got to travel. It was also a great way to stay in shape which was even better. She had honestly thought that her life had gotten a lot better ever since she had gotten called as one. "I've never faced a changeling but that must have been a scary thing knowing that your son was kidnapped by some demon," she said in disbelief. It must have been really hard for Lisa, if Sarah had a kid and they were kidnapped then she'd probably get hysterical and then get angry and kill whatever kidnapped them. "It must have been a lot to handle though, finding about demons, your son being kidnapped, and finding out Dean was a hunter," she sighed then. "Now, that seems like a lot to take in, in one day," she said. She was happy with the way she found out about the supernatural but she wished no one had died because of that picture.
"I'm glad I'm not the only one then," she said with a laugh. She knew that almost every girl who was called, even Buffy were lost when they were first called upon so Sarah was glad that she wasn't the only one plus Lisa telling her as well if she was called she'd be lost to. "It's just great knowing that I'm actually making a difference in the world, you know? It may not be a lot but it's something," she liked saving people. Sarah just felt good when she saved someone. One less demon in the world meant one less human dead body found somewhere. Being a slayer was who she was and she wouldn't have it any other way, she was just used to fighting evil now and having her friends by her side fighting whatever it was. "Yeah, but I'm going to visit him when I can...I just don't know what I'm gonna say to him when I do see him," that was going to be a really complicated conversation.
Lisa was right, it was a huge secret and a big risk not telling Dean and Ben about how the two are related. It was a good thing that not a lot of damage was done. "I'm sure Ben will forgive you and at least Dean wasn't mad at you, he seemed perfectly fine at our impromptu double date," she told the girl with a smile. Either Dean was just a relaxed guy or he had known from before and maybe got the yelling out of his system? He had a son and he didn't know that it was his, that must made the man angry. But she didn't know Dean extremely well so maybe she was assuming, maybe he was just an all around understanding and chill guy. She wondered how Sam would react if Sarah had a child and kept that kind of secret. Well, considering he was mad at Lisa for not telling Sarah was pretty sure it would be way worse but she didn't even have to think of that.
"Thanks Lisa, I might take you up on that offer," she was still wondering what on earth she wanted to do. There were a lot of jobs out there but which one would she enjoy the most. Maybe she would try and become a high school teacher, it did make the most sense, well she had a lot of time to think so she wouldn't think about all that much. The girl didn't want to stress herself out since she already had a bazillion thoughts in her head. "I'm thinking about possibly becoming a teacher, I'm not exactly sure," she wasn't sure and she'd figure it out later and for now she would enjoy her tea and muffin with Lisa her new friend.
Sarah was almost done her muffin as she took another piece off of it. This muffin was actually really good, she wasn't shocked about it or anything just she was enjoying it a lot. "Wow, it's a good thing you guys moved here, the town is beautiful actually," she said while looking at the window. She actually liked this town a lot. "There's just something about it you know?" She asked the girl. She actually wanted to settle in this town and maybe she would, depending on how things went. "it's just a fresh start I guess plus I have Sam," she said with a blush. She was so happy to have him in her life again, it was honestly the most amazing thing. ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! -------------------------- -------------------------- Lisa nodded in understanding as Sarah stated that she had never faced a Changeling but that it must have been scary to know that her son had been kidnapped. "It was. I really had to trust Dean to get him back," she confirmed. And to be honest, there was a small part of her that had worried that he'd fail to save the boy. She hadn't known all of what he could do back then, and while she knew that the hunter wasn't infallible, she had a lot more faith in his capabilities than she had when she had first learned about the Supernatural. Now if anything happened to Ben, she felt fully confident that Dean would be able to save him or would die trying. But then again, she wasn't sure if she liked the idea of solely relying on Dean. She was Ben's mother and should be able to protect him from anything, even if it wasn't human. Hmmm...maybe I could ask Dean about some defensive techniques against spirits or something, she thought to herself. Yeah, there were the salt lines and things, but what if something wasn't a demon or a spirit and could walk across those deterrents? She needed to be able to defend them against those kinds of creatures as well. She then nodded in agreement as the other woman went on to say that finding out about demons, Ben being kidnapped, and discovering that Dean was a hunter had to be a lot to take in. "It was. It really was. For both of us---that is---me and Ben," she stated. She couldn't even begin to imagine what Ben had gone through when he had been taken. She just knew what she had felt: scared, angry, worried, etc. However, it had all worked out all right, which she had been grateful for. And besides, she had eventually gotten Dean back, which was---awesome. It was the only word for it. Dean just had this way about him... And she was getting side-tracked. It was easy to do when she started to think about Dean. However, she forced herself to push thoughts of her boyfriend aside and focused on Sarah who laughed and said that she was glad that she wasn't the only one who would've been lost if she had been called as a Slayer, and that she was glad that she was doing something that made a difference and that it was at least something, even if it wasn't a lot. "Oh take it from someone who doesn't actually fight what you do: it's a lot and appreciated," she assured with a grin. However, her grin turned sympathetic as she said that she'd visit her father soon but didn't know what she'd tell him. "Yeah, that sounds like a tough one. I mean, you can't exactly say that you're ridding the world of demons," she continued softly. She wasn't sure if he knew about the Supernatural as well, but even if he did, he probably didn't want to hear about his daughter doing something that could potentially kill her. Her grin faded as the other woman stated that she was sure that Ben would forgive her and that Dean was okay with everything, as he had seemed to be handling the news at their impromptu double date. "Yeah I had told him a little before. I'm actually surprised he took it so well. I thought for sure that he was gonna hate me for keeping it a secret. I mean, I would've," she answered. But then again, that was just her. She had always preferred people to be honest. Maybe Dean had a different code of honesty. When Sarah said that she might take Lisa up on her offer to give her a hand in her search, Lisa grinned again. Wow. She was grinning a lot this morning. She hadn't grinned this much since she and Dean had first gotten back together. Oh, well. She was with a new friend so she supposed that it didn't matter. "Well, just let me know and if I can clear my schedule, I'll be at your disposal," she stated and then nodded thoughtfully as the other woman said she had thought about becoming a teacher. "Wow. That sounds cool. Teacher by day, Slayer by night. Sounds like a good idea for a tv show," she teased softly. And it did. But maybe that was just her. Lisa nodded in agreement as Sarah stated that it was a good thing that they had moved to Richmond as it was beautiful and that there was just something about it as well as it giving her a fresh start with Sam. "Exactly. I think it's just what Ben and I needed," she stated. Oh, she knew that Ben missed his old friends which was why she didn't mind when he called them as he was usually careful not to spend an insane amount of talking with them, which she was grateful for, but she just hadn't felt comfortable in that house after that thing had taken her son's place and had pretended to be him. It was just creepy. Their new home didn't have bad memories like that. "Well then, here's to a fresh start," she said, lifting up her glass. She wasn't sure if it was dorky doing this, but she really didn't care. --------------------------

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Becky packed up are laptop bag getting ready to head out for a bit, Chuck was busy working on something for his new book. So she figured why not head out and do something, like go to her favorite café for some coffee. Plus she could work on her website as well. Which she did need to do some work on, she had been so busy lately doing other stuff with Chuck to the point she had not had time. Which she was completely ok with, they were on there way to making a baby. Trying to start and make a family of there very own, something they have wanted to do for a long long time. Becky got into her car and began to make her way to the Café, she was jamming her favorite band always the Spice girls. She just couldn’t help it there was just something about them she loved, even thought they were so ten years ago. But Becky didn’t care she listened to what she wanted. Music was something she listed to a lot in school, along with reading. It was a great way for this lard to pass the time, it gave her something to do when she would sit alone day after day at her lunch table. Along with reading as always, yep she always had her head into a good book, you could say Becky was a bookworm. She made her way to the into the Café finding a place to set down, she found a seat setting down her bag. The waiter came over taking her order asking her what she wanted. “I will take a vanilla latte please.” After he took her order she began to get out her bag, but then she couldn’t help but notice the conversation going on at the other table. She heard the girls speak about Sam and Dean, which made Becky wonder who they were? She began to wonder if one of those girls was Lisa, and if so who was the other. She began to go over all the girls Sam has dated in her head, thinking back to all the books. She then wondered if maybe just maybe that was Sarah Blake? Then she couldn’t help herself she had to get up and see who they in fact were. “Excuse me.” She said to them approaching the table. “Did I hear you say something about Sam and Dean, you know them?” She asking while trying to contain her excitement. ------------------ ------------------ "Trusting a guy you haven't seen in a long time...I don't know how you did it," she told the girl. If that was Sarah's child she'd probably wouldn't trust anyone and try and get things done herself but she was a slayer now so that was probably why but if she was her normal self...she'd be hysterical. "But you did have a strong connection to him so it was probably easier to trust him right?" She asked the girl. She wondered if Lisa had loved Dean at that point or if it was later on. It was weird how two people could meet and just fall for each other instantly, it had happened to Sarah and she loved it and she never thought it would happen to her but then Sam came into her life.
Sarah completely understood, accepting the supernatural was extremely hard considering when you're born you were taught that the world just had bad people and that there could be a god and a devil but that was about it. No one had warned anybody about the demons and vampires. It was hard for Sarah to hear it at first but she accepted it pretty well, she thought Sam and Dean were crazy at first of course but she only thought that for a short amount of time. Then the whole slayer thing that was a little bit hard to accept but in the end she accepted since she just couldn't refuse to help people, it was just something she needed to do, help. "Oh, yeah how did Ben handle it?" She wondered if he had freaked out or if he was okay with it and thought Dean as a superhero.
"Thanks Lis," wow now she was calling Lisa 'Lis' apparently, okay. Well, the two were becoming really good friends so far so she probably wouldn't mind the nickname. "Not many people know that there are people out there helping and if they do they don't always appreciate it," she remembered running into some guy who thought he could handle a vampire and when Sarah had killed the vampire to save him he had just pouted and said he could have handled it since he was strong and all that. Some people were just crazy though and thought they could handle anything.
Sarah had nodded. It made perfect sense to hate someone who hid a secret like that. It would be unfair to the person and in this case it was unfair to Dean but Lisa had her reasons and Sarah was able to understand those reasons. "He must really love you," she said with a smile. Sarah didn't know Dean too well but anyone would get mad at the person for keeping such a secret but he loved Lisa and who knows maybe he understood where the woman was coming from and that was why he was able to not lash out or it was just the fact that he loved the girl so much, Sarah was going to guess both though.
"That'd be great! Thanks again," she said excitedly. She was glad to have a friend who was actually not involved with slaying, they didn't have to talk about patrol or demons, they could just talk about life really. Sarah could do that with Satsu, Buffy, and Willow but it was just different having a friend who wasn't entirely involved with the supernatural. Sarah laughed, "Yeah, that would be a pretty interesting tv show we should pitch it to some big producer," she said jokingly.
Sarah lifted her cup to do the cheers and thought it was actually pretty cool, she had never really done one before besides at the art gallery when they had parties. "And friendship," she clinked her cup with Lisa's glass and took a sip out of her straw. She then saw someone walking up to the table and Sarah thought the woman was going to ask something that was well...something about the town but she asked about Sam and Dean. "Yeah...we do, why do you ask?" She asked curiously. "I'm guessing you them?" She said with a smile. "Oh, you can take a seat if you'd like," she was being friendly and the girl seemed nice right now. ------------------ Credit: Graphics by Britt! -------------------------- -------------------------- Lisa nodded in agreement as Sarah said that it was probably hard to trust Dean as she hadn't seen him in a long time and that she didn't know know how she shad done it, though she surmised that it had probably been easier because of their strong connection. "Yeah, it was hard. But at the same time, it was Dean and I don't know, there's just---something solid about him. I'm not even making any sense," she said, ending her sentence with a laugh. Oh well. Hopefully Sarah would understand what she was saying. Dean was---he was like James Dean and Han Solo rolled into one, though she doubted that he knew it. At the woman's question of how Ben had taken the news of Dean being Ben's father, Lisa grimaced. "He's happy about it, but he's also pissed at me for keeping it a secret. Not that I blame him," she replied. And she didn't. Heck, if their situations were reversed, she probably would've acted the same way. But just because she understood where her son was coming from, it didn't mean that she wasn't hurt. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like she was going to be forgiven any time soon. Then Lisa grinned at Sarah's nickname. She liked it. No one else called her that. Well, hardly anyone else. Her dad had called her "Lise" occasionally, but that was it. From anyone else it would've been strange, but with Sarah, it just seemed natural. She then nodded in agreement as the other woman went on to say that not a lot of people knew about people fighting the Supernatural, and that the ones who knew weren't always grateful. "So I hear. But I can't imagine not being grateful. I mean, if it wasn't for people like Dean and Sam, Ben probably wouldn't even be alive and neither would I," she commented. And to be honest, that thought scared her. To think that she could've been killed...she shuddered and then gave herself a mental shake. "But he did save us and here we are," she said firmly, flashing her new friend a smile. She laughed and ducked her head a bit when the other woman said that Dean must really love her. "Yeah, I think he does. Which is kind of weird," she said. "I mean, come on! He could have his pick of any woman in the world and he chooses me? I can't kick butt! He'd be more suited with someone like you," she continued. Okay, yeah, her insecurities had raised their head again. But honestly, could you blame her? She wasn't a hunter or a Slayer or anything special, so the fact that Dean was with her was a bit mind-boggling. Lisa grinned again as Sarah responded excitedly to her offer, saying that it'd be great and thanking her again. "Yeah, no problem," she responded and then laughed as the other woman said that it would be an interesting show and that they should pitch the idea to a big t.v. producer. "With the stipulation that the actress has actual fighting experience. She can't just be a pretty face," she stated. They'd probably never do this, but hey, as long as they were dreaming, why not make it right? "And friendship," Lisa echoed, as they clinked their glasses and then she took a gulp of her drink. She had to admit, she hadn't been sure if Sarah would go for the toast, but thankfully, she had. She wasn't quite sure why she had done other than it had seemed like the right thing to do. Just the natural progression of the moment. Well, heck, who cared why she had done it? It had been accepted and done, so she was moving on. To her surprise, a woman with dirty blonde hair and brown eyes, wearing a black shirt with the word POW across the front in an old-fashioned comic type way, blue acid washed jeans that looked incredibly skinny, and white Converse Trainers came up to them, asking if they had been talking about talking about Sam and Dean, wondering if they knew them. Who the hell is this? she wondered as Sarah answered the question, saying that they did know the brothers and asking if the newcomer if she knew them as well, inviting her to sit down. "I'm Lisa by the way," Lisa spoke up, flashing the woman a smile as she looked her over. Could this be another Slayer? It was possible she supposed as from what she had understood was that the spell had activated Slayers from all over the place, and if the woman was new in town, it would explain why Sarah didn't know her. Or she could be a demon or some other type of creature. At the thought, Lisa contemplated texting Dean, but dismissed the idea. She didn't want to take the chance of being wrong and end up calling him away from a real hunt. But she was still curious about the woman and her interest in the brothers... --------------------------
