The Trickster was out and about, walking. There was no particular destination in mind, well none that he could think of. The youngest archangel just wanted a peaceful night one that would prove to be quiet and him getting into trouble free. He smiled as he continued on his stroll, not really caring what was going on in the world.
The youngest archangel never cared about what was going on in the world. He was always in his own little world doing his own thing. He tried to help a few times, those few times ended horribly so he decided that he would just do what he does best and stick to the side lines. He would only help his friends when they were in danger. That would be the only time that the archangel would get involved in anything. The first time Gabriel decided to help, he had been killed by his older brother Lucifer. Then the other times, the youngest archangel had been taken to heaven and basically tortured senseless until he managed to get away and then there were other things. He just didn’t want to deal with it anymore.
It wasn’t that he gave up on his fight for humanity, not at all. It was more along the lines of humanity not needing him at this moment. The Trickster didn’t see that the earth was in any danger at all so he didn’t have to do anything to help out just yet. Once a demon or Castiel or angels started threatening to destroy everything then he would get up and react.
The Trickster found himself on the beach, standing there staring at the moonlight reflecting off the calm waves of the water. He smiled. This was the night that he was looking for.

Being the King of Hell was a lot more taxing then what one would think. Everyone seemingly wanted something from you. Crowley just told most of them to piss off, plus he had his hell hounds, and the rest of hell to look after.
On top of all that, Crowley had plans, big plans, a war between Heaven and Hell with Earth caught in the crossfire. His plans would have to wait though, as Heaven was currently in a Civil War. Crowley felt that was the perfect time to strike, when they have already decimated themselfs.
Add on even more to his hectic life, people were returning from the Dead left and right. He heard about a couple of vampires in Mystic Falls, Jo in Richmond, Benny the Vampire, just to name a few. He wanted to know why but was getting nowhere on that front.
He was overworked and needed a vacation. But a Kings job was never done. It wasn't like he could just tell his second in command to take over so he can get some R&R, besides, he didn't even have a second in command, he didn't really trust any of his minions farther then he can throw most of them.
Besides, he was a big believer in, if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. So he couldn't leave at the current time. He heard Gabriel, the Trickster was at Virginia Beach. He knew Gabriel a little bit, not to much, but he figured he could catch up with him.
He had teleported himself to Virginia and found him standing on the beach. The King of Hell approached the Youngest Archangel and stood next to him. "Gabriel, how goes the trickster business?" He said suddenly with a smirk.

The Trickster continued to stand there and stare at the water. He knew that this couldn’t last forever because he had that strange feeling. It wasn’t the feeling that most humans had, their instincts, it was the feeling that angels get when they sense something. He sensed that there was something coming and he would just have to be ready for it. He was going to do what he could to make whatever it was look like a fool. He loved doing that and he knew that it could be fun, well on his part that is.
The Trickster just stared at the calming distance of the beach, the water stretching out onto the horizon. There was a cool breeze that blew lightly through the Trickster’s short brown hair. He smiled softly. Then it hit him and his smile faded. He could feel the presence of a demon, not just any demon, but Crowley, the self-proclaimed king of hell and a pain in the ass.
His voice had pierced the silence and darkness, like a bee stinging a human in the bottom of the foot. According to Maddie, that hurt like a bitch. Crowley had asked how the Trickster business was and Gabriel whipped around.
“well if it isn’t the self-proclaimed king of the fucktards.” Gabriel said to him with a large smirk on his face. “why are you out here talking to me?” The Trickster asked him curiously and then continued “you know I can destroy you with the snap of my fingers, so I am a bit confused by this situation.” The Trickster finished, with a sarcastic, rude tone.

Crowley was use to such reactions from... well almost everyone by now. So he wasn't entirely surprised that his showing up to ruin Gabriel's day was met with such reaction. He shrugged. "Ouch, words do hurt Gabriel." Crowley didn't really mind it, he never really cared what people thought of him, he did what he had to do.
He looked at him in the face now. "Self proclaimed... I earned that title." He said with a chuckle, though he didn't really earn anything, its just everyone above him on the pecking order of things was... disposed of, so it became his by default. Still, it was his and he felt he deserved it.
"Just want to catch up with an old...acquaintance." Though it wasn't entirely truthful, he didn't know Gabriel even that well, he only met him once before and they did not get along well, if Crowley remembered. So Crowley coming up to him was either incredibly stupid, or brave on his part, since Crowley was not stupid...
Truth be told, Crowley was bored and tired of work and just wanted some fun. Why he chose Gabriel of all people was the stupid part on his end. Still, he shrugged the thought off. "I had a proposition for you, but since you clearly don't want to hear it." Crowley added with a shrug again.
He needed Gabriel's help if he was gonna take over Hell completely. Yeah he was a big dog in the fight, but there was still resistance, having an Archangel on his side would help him get full control. That was his end game, he controlled the bulk of hell already, but not all of it.
"See ya around, Gabriel." He spoke finally, turning to walk away. Pity, there partnership could of been special, could of benefited both of them, but Gabriel clearly didn't want to see Crowley right now, so no harm no foul.

The Trickster stood there staring at Crowley. He told him that words hurt. Gabriel merely shrugged it off. He didn’t care. Crowley is a demon and Gabriel wasn’t supposed to care at all. The youngest archangel was just curious. The archangel was always so quick to rudeness that he didn’t stop to think and decide if he could use the situation to his advantage as he did with Ruby. Crowley would be harder to fool though that’s for sure. Gabriel had a crooked smile appear on his face.
He then said that he earned the title. Gabriel merely shrugged it off. Sure he did. He always thought that his brother was the king of hell, no maybe his brother is just lord. Oh well, Gabriel really didn’t care at all.
Crowley then said he just wanted to catch up with an old acquaintance. Gabriel eyed him and raised an eyebrow. When were they ever that? Gabriel couldn’t remember. He was around for a very long time, pranked a lot of demons, did a lot of shit, he just didn’t remember it all.
Crowley then went on to say he had a proposition for Gabriel and Gabriel raised his eyebrow. What kind of proposition would that be? Gabriel grew curious but before he could say anything Crowley was leaving. What the hell? Gabriel had disappeared and reappeared in front of the demon that was walking away from him.
“whoa, where do you think you are going? How do you say that and walk away? Now I am more and more curious. So tell me, what do you have and if I like it I will help with something in return of course.” Gabriel said with a devilish smile.

He wondered what Gabriel was thinking when he wasn't really replying. Gabriel and Crowley weren't really friends, in fact they hated each other, well, Crowley knew he disliked Gabriel, and he felt Gabriel felt the same way, but that didn't really matter right now.
Crowley shrugged as Gabriel stopped him from walking away. He looked Gabriel in the eyes, he seemed to really want to know what the offer was. Crowley's plan had worked, tease a deal with Gabriel and pretend to walk away, he did it 1000s of times before as a crossroads demon and it hardly ever failed.
"Oh so now you are interested in what I have to say?" Crowley said with mock surprise. He grinned at Gabriel and motioned for him to follow him as he walked down the beach. "Well, since you are so interested..." Crowley began as he began walking and talking.
"...Well, as you know, I'm sure, I'm not the only one that wants full control of hell. I can help you, well not right now I can't, but once I take over hell completely, I could give you whatever you want." Crowley began, it wasn't like Gabriel wasn't gonna get nothing out of the deal.
"You want Lucifer on a silver platter? Done. Anything you want, don't really care what it is, I will be able to swing it. But I need full control of hell first. And that's where you come in. There is... resistance, I'm sure you can imagine. Well, I can only do so much on my own, but an Archangel... with your help they will all give up." Crowley began his offer.
"So what do you say Gabriel? Quid pro quo? You scratch my back and I scratch yours?" Crowley said to him, turning to him. He knew Gabriel didn't really give a crap about what happened in hell, but there must be something, anything Gabriel wants that Crowley might be able to get for him. It was kinda like a crossroads deal, only Gabriel's soul wasn't on the line.

The Trickster looked at the demon that stood in front of him. The demon wanted to make a deal. Crowley was being a real pain in Gabriel’s ass. He had motioned for Gabriel to follow him down the beach and Gabriel shrugged and thought why not. The Trickster looked at him when he started talking. He had said that he wants full control of hell and that he could help Gabriel but not at this moment. He could help Gabriel with whatever Gabriel wanted if he helped Crowley take over hell.
The Trickster was entertained for the moment. The Trickster thought a moment and he looked at Crowley when Crowley had said that he could get Lucifer on a silver platter for Gabriel and Gabriel shook his head. That was the last thing that he wanted. He didn’t care to see his brother again, even if it was the brother that had killed him. He then went on and said that with the help of an archangel, the demons would give it up and Crowley would take over.
The Trickster looked at him and thought a moment. There were a few things in mind that he could ask for, though he didn’t know how much he could trust the demon. He looked at Crowley a moment and thought of the questions that he could ask.
“and how do I know that you wont turn on me?” The Trickster asked him curiously. “just humor me.” The youngest archangel smiled to him, still pondering the deal.

Crowley didn't have many friends, and he really didn't need them. He needed people to help him with his goals, if that meant forming shaky temporarily alliances, then so be it. Gabriel was powerful, and very useful to him, so that is why he decided to make a deal with him.
He wondered, briefly what Gabriel would ask for in return. He thought dangling Lucifer on a string in front of him might be enough to peak his interest, but he didn't really care what Gabriel wanted, so long as Crowley was able to get it for him in the end and it didn't interfere with Crowley's plans, Crowley would be more then happy to give it to Gabriel.
Gabriel questioned Crowley about trusting him, about keeping up Crowley's end of the bargain. Crowley just shrugged. "Do you really think I want to get on the bad side of an Archangel? Do you really think I am that dumb Gabriel?" He asked him with a chuckle.
"I don't really care what you ask for, I will get it done for you, so long as it doesn't get in my way that is. You have my word." Crowley added, though the word of a demon meant very little, especially Crowley's word.
Crowley wondered how Gabriel was gonna respond next. He knew Gabriel would never trust him, and Crowley really didn't care about that at all. All he cared about what getting what he wanted. Sure, when the time came, Crowley would keep his end of the bargain, but that didn't matter to him in the least.

The waves continued to hit against the sandy beach as the youngest archangel still stood there before the demon faced with a difficult choice. It was a choice that he knew that he shouldn’t even think twice about, say no and walk away but he was intrigued and that was probably one of the greatest flaws of the youngest archangel. He is a fool for things like that and he knew that. He is curious. He wanted to see how all of this played out in the end, kind of like him being “buddy, buddy” with Ruby, who is a lesser demon in hell.
The Trickster watched as the demon Crowley shrugged. He then asked if he thought that he would get on Gabriel’s bad side, if he wanted to get one Gabriel’s bad side, if Gabriel thought that he was that dumb. The Trickster tilted his head to the side slightly to show that he understood what Crowley meant. “good point, good point.” The Trickster said wondering now if he was trying to feed Gabriel’s ego.
The Trickster had to think long and hard about what he wanted. He could ask to be left alone by all demons, have free reign in terror in Hell, many other things, but he didn’t know what he wanted to pick. They all sounded fun. Crowley did say that he didn’t care what Gabriel asked for. That meant Gabriel could go overboard, or not. It was all his choice. Crowley then said that he had his word and Gabriel burst into a roar of laughter.
“your word? That means shit.” Gabriel shook his head. “I don’t know if you would love what I want. Theres a few things on my list. You think you can handle them?” Gabriel asked, a smirk appearing on the youngest archangel’s face.

Crowley knew Gabriel wasn't gonna ask for something cheap. Gabriel wasn't gonna ask for something that any run of the mill demon could get him. He was gonna ask for something big, something important. Crowley was not an idiot and had ideas on what Gabriel might ask for.
"My word means more then most demons. I am a crossroads demon after all." He said partially defending himself, but he knew Gabriel was right, and one should never trust a demon when the deal was not sealed in blood. He knew Gabriel was no fool, besides he was sick of dealing with fools.
"Depends on what you ask for. There is very little I care about, but anything that you ask for that interrupts my plans, I will have to say no to. Anything else that you want, you can have. I am sure a business man such as yourself can appreciate this request." Crowley said, trying to butter him up.
Yes, Crowley could get anything Gabriel wanted, but with a few revisos. He would not give him something that messes with what Crowley wanted, and he knew Gabriel would understand that. "Like I said, so long as It doesn't mess with my plan, you can have it." He added quickly.
"I'm getting tired of the run around Gabriel. Have you come up with something that you want yet?" He asked, he wasn't gonna finalize the deal until he found out what Gabriel wanted. Again, Crowley was no fool, and he needed to know what Gabriel wanted before giving him a handshake solidifying the partnership.

The youngest archangel looked at Crowley. he said that his word meant more than most demons and Gabriel kind of believed him. He still wasn't going to be able to trust him at all never, but he knew that Crowley knew what the consequences were if he betrayed Gabriel in anyway and Gabriel knew what would happen if he betrayed Crowley as well. he knew that the demon in front of him could prove to be just as big of a foe as Raphael. that could put everyone he cares about in danger.
"no, I believe you won't turn on me because we both know what would happen if we turned on each other. I have a lot to lose and you do too." The Trickster said to him wondering if Crowley would understand what he means by that.
Crowley then went on and said that it depends on what Gabriel asks for and that there is little he cares about. "I'm not giving you a run around, I'm just making sure we understand one another." Gabriel stated to him with a slightly annoyed look on his face. "I don't think that you would care a lot about the safety of my prophet, unless you do, therefore I would have to say no deal. There's a small game Hell is playing and I don't like it. No danger shall come to Maddie and her friends, meaning her family and Buffy, the vampire slayer, and her gang. that's all I ask for. If that can't be kept while our deal is in place, then maybe I will go down to hell myself and see how much chaos I can cause down there before destroying it completely." Gabriel gave a slight shrug. "Now that won't apply to the Winchesters. You can do whatever you would like with them because I know they are going to fuck everything up anyway, as in not listening to me and leaving you alone, so they aren't part of this deal nor are they considered Maddie's friends in this way, if you understand what I am saying." Gabriel said, wondering if Crowley understood what he meant by that. "and in return, I can help you take over hell if you want, because believe me, I would much rather have you in charge than others." Gabriel said to him, every bit on honesty in that statement.
Sure, Gabriel would much rather not have Hell exist but since Crowley seemed to be a man who understood the greater cost of things, he knew that Crowley would consider his offer. Crowley is a demon and sure, Crowley wasn't the best, but he understood what could happen when Gabriel got really, really pissed off.

"Trust me, Gabriel, I know exactly what I have to lose if I betray you." Crowley replied with a smile. Yes, he knew that if Gabriel wanted, he could make Crowley's life a living hell. That is partially why Crowley wanted to be allies with Gabriel instead of enemies.
He looked Gabriel up and down as he spoke, listening to him and what he wanted and what he was offering in return. Crowley considered it briefly before coming up with the answer that he knew was the best answer to give in return to Gabriel.
"I don't really care about the slayer or her friends or your prophet. They aren't even a blip on my radar." Crowley said honestly. He studied Gabriel carefully and somehow knew that Gabriel was being honest in what he wanted from Crowley in return for help in hell.
Crowley shrugged. "We have a deal, no harm should come to Maddie or any of her friends... Shell we seal it with a kiss?" Crowley said, he couldn't help but mess with Gabriel a little bit, he simply smiled and shook his head. "Fine, we can sign it in ink if you prefer." Crowley said with a chuckle.
Crowley did have plans for Those Damn Winchester Boys. And since Gabriel was not asking for their safety, and not really asking for anything that Crowley cared about. Crowley held out his hand for Gabriel to shake, to seal the deal. "No harm shell come to Maddie and her friends so long as you help me take full control of hell." Gabriel said, stating the full terms of the deal to Gabriel.

The Trickster thought a moment. Was this deal really a good thing that would benefit the Trickster? Honestly, Gabriel didn’t know. He thought it would since he really didn’t care about the whole war between Heaven and Hell at all and would really want to remain neutral and live a nice peaceful rest of his life here on earth. There was just still the tiny problem that Crowley is a demon and Gabriel has horrible track records with demons and angels and all sorts of other supernatural beings. The Trickster watched the demon, still observing him. Maybe he would be true to his word.
The demon went on and said that he didn’t care about the slayer and her friends or Maddie. Gabriel looked at him curiously when he said that they weren’t in his radar. Well clearly there was a certain demon who didn’t catch that memo. Gabriel folded his arms across his chest and looked at him. “well, there’s a certain demon who hasn’t received that memo.” Gariel said, referring to Maddie’s father.
Crowley had said that no harm would come to Maddie or the Slayer and her friends. Gabriel looked at Crowley in disgust when he asked if they should seal it with a kiss. Gabriel wasn’t amused when Crowley then said that they will seal it in ink. “what an angel’s word not good enough for you?” Gabriel said, not really wanting to sign anything. It wasn’t that he was going to break the deal or anything. He would keep it for Maddie’s sake.
Gabriel nodded to the final agreement, still not really wanting to sign anything.

Crowley wondered what Gabriel was going on about not getting the memo. Crowley really didn't care about the slayer, there have been slayers forever, and he has never ran into one before. Crowley didn't care that this specific slayer was friends with Sam and Dean Winchester, it didn't really bother him one bit.
Once he had all the power in hell, he would be able to handle the Winchesters, even if the knew the slayer and get away with doing whatever he wanted to them. So Gabriel wanting to protect the slayer didn't bother Crowley in the least. Crowley did, however, decide to check up on this slayer and she may be more important then he knew.
"Forgive me Gabriel... I'm a Crossroads demon, I'm a stickler for the rules." Crowley pointed out. Crowley didn't mean to offend Gabriel, he was simply trying to make it official, and that whole bit about kissing was just a joke, Crowley figured the trickster would at least have a good sense of humor about it.
Never the less, Crowley just shrugged. "Very well, I am not asking you to sign your life away, I am just very use to doing everything by the book, without rules we would be savages like animals." Crowley pointed out, it was fine if Gabriel didn't sign anything. There were other ways to make the deal official.
"Fine, we shake on it then, and we will just have to hope that we both keep our words." Crowley said, if Gabriel didn't want to sign anything, then Gabriel would have to take Crowley's word on the deal, otherwise this conversation had been pointless.
Crowley held out his hand for Gabriel to accept.

The Trickster stood there looking at Crowley. The thought that kept going through his head was if he was wondering if this was a good idea or not. It seemed to be at this time because he can sort of assume that Maddie would be safe for a little bit unless she was with the Winchesters, well mostly Dean. Maddie didn’t really hang out with Sam, though the Trickster wondered if they have even met before. He couldn’t recall. Gabriel would just be very angry if a demon had come and hurt his prophet. The youngest archangel just hoped that Crowley knew he would take it all out on him in the end.
Crowley had told Gabriel to forgive him, that he is a stickler for the rules. Gabriel nodded, understanding that. He is just like Michael. Rules are everything. Gabriel on the other hand could give two fucks about rules. “and that’s something we don’t have in common.” Gabriel replied to him about rules. He never really held rules as values, at all, ever. He had gotten into trouble a lot for breaking them even in his early days as God’s messenger.
He then told Gabriel it wasn’t like he was asking him to sign his life away and that he said without rules they would be savages like animals. Gabriel raised an eyebrow at Crowley and shook his head. No wait that sounded just about right. Gabriel sort of acted like that and sort of still does.
He then said that they would shake on it then and Crowley let out his hand for the youngest archangel. Gabriel shook it and smirked. With that, the archangel disappeared right in front of Crowley.
