Rebekah was happy that April asked to stay over and that her father agreed to let her, since technically it was a school night, and technically speaking, her father didn't know Rebekah, so most parent's didn't like having their kid sleep over at an unknown person's house. Rebekah figured that Aprils father was just glad April was making new friends.

It was gonna be perfect. They can get all girly, give themselves makeovers, gossip about boys and the other kids at school, eat ice cream and pizza all night. Rebekah didn't need to eat human food, but she did, she liked the taste of it, besides, it wasn't like she had to worry about it going to her hips.

She was most excited to tell April about Noah, and hoping that April would approve of him. She was giddy every time she thought about him, which was a lot. She would also be able to grill April on which boys the girl had a crush on and maybe help hook her up with one of them. Rebekah felt hungry all of a sudden and she really didn't want an incident to occur. So she went downstairs and to her fridge.

She spotted what she was hungry for a greedily sucked the blood from the bag. She closed the fridge door and saw April standing there. The blood bag was against Rebekah's lips and already half gone as she looked at the other girl. "April... I didn't mean for you to see this." She said, feeling scared now, hoping the girl wouldn't freak on her.

"I didn't want you to ever see this." She said looking down, damn it. Why did April have to catch her doing the one thing Rebekah never wanted April to see her do. She cursed in her head and decided that if April was to freaked out by the situation that she would have to compel her to forget about it.

April’s father agreed to let her spend the night at Rebekah’s house since it was a school night. He was just thankful that his daughter was going out into the world and was attempting to make new friends. He trusted her and knew that she would be safe. She owed Rebekah for saving her life. She knew her father wouldn’t approve of her befriending vampires due to him being part of the town council and looked up to her father when they needed him.

April recently registered for school in Mystic Falls and still didn’t know every Tom, Dick, and Harry in the town. She knew Elena, Bonnie, Caroline, Jeremy, and Matt from way back when she was a child. Her father would let Elena and Matt watch her from time to time. It was nice to make new friends and since the death of her mother she hadn’t really allowed herself to get close with anyone.

She changed into a pair of shorts and a tank top after she finished taking a shower and she went downstairs to the kitchen and saw Rebekah drinking from a blood bag which made her feel a little sick to her stomach, but she stood there in place and blinked. She knew she should have been a bit more freaked out that Rebekah was a vampire, but for some odd reason she wasn’t entirely afraid of her. “It’s okay,” she said as she cleared her throat. “You have to eat too. It’ll take a little while to get used to,” she admitted as she bit her lip. “Are you okay?” she asked as she looked at Rebekah. “Maybe tonight isn’t the best night to have company over after had happened,” she said softly as she looked down at her feet for a moment.

Rebekah knew April was more freaked then she let on. Rebekah just smiled at her. "I don't feed on human's much anymore." She said, it was the anymore part that made her worry. That meant that at some point, she did feed on humans, and that might freak April out. God this friendship thing was taxing on Rebekah. She was constantly scared she would say or do the wrong thing and love April as a friend.

She turned away from April and quickly finished the bag, she was to hungry not to and didn't want April to watch as she did it and threw it in the garbage and looked back at April. "Why wouldn't I be ok?" She asked a little confused. She remembered now what happened to April and having to kill the other vampire.

She nodded her head. "I'm fine." She said with a smile looking April up and down. Clearly the other girl wasn't buying it and thought Rebekah had been through something traumatic. "Seriously, I have seen and done worse." Rebekah added, cursing herself for saying it like that. Ugh, was she trying to scare April away, or was she just being her normal blunt self?

She smiled at April. "Don't worry, I don't bite, unless you want me to." Rebekah said with a wink and a giggle, clearly trying to lighten the mood. The truth was, she would never sink her teeth into April, not if she could help it anyways. She hopped April took it as just a joke.

"So, lets go upstairs and talk about boys. There must be one in this town you like." Rebekah said, it was a new goal in life to hook April up with a boy, any boy. She wanted April to be as happy in the love department as Rebekah was with Noah, and she now dedicated any time not promised to Noah to finding April a boy toy.

April watched Rebekah cautiously and smiled when Rebekah told her that she was fine. “Nice to know,” she said as she ran her fingers through her hair as she turned away while Rebekah finished off the blood bag and she merely chuckled when Rebekah told her that she had seen and done worse. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to know about all the things Rebekah had seen or not to be honest she didn’t care if Rebekah ever did anything bad. She wasn’t going to investigate in the girl’s past. She had saved her life earlier and April was just thankful to be alive and not dead.

She smiled when Rebekah teased about biting her unless she wanted her to. “Oh…really? I didn’t know you swung that way, Bekah,” she said as she winked at her in a teasing manner.
April laughed as she followed Rebekah upstairs to talk about boys. There wasn’t many guys that she liked other than Landon Canter who she dated for about four months until her mother had passed away and they had drifted apart when she and her father moved to Mystic Falls.

“I haven’t really found a particular one that has caught my eye yet in this town,” she replied honestly as she down and started to look through magazines. “It’s hard for the new girl to find a decent guy in town and being the new girl kind of sucks, but I’m more of the lone wolf type,” she said hastily.

Rebekah smiled at April for teasing her about swinging for that team. "I don't, though there was that one time in the 1860's." Rebekah said with a wink, teasing April back. Rebekah has never been into girls, though as a vampire she has done a lot of things, so there may be a grain of truth in her reply, or there may not be, it was up to April to decide if Rebekah was being honest or not.

Rebekah pulled April upstairs. "Awe, I'm sure there is a guy for you out there." Rebekah said with a smile, she would find a guy for April yet, it was only a matter of time in Rebekah's mind. "So, do you want to hear about Noah and I?" She asked, she didn't want to upset April by blabbing on and on about Noah if April didn't want to hear it, she wanted to make sure first.

Noah was amazing, he was sweet and thoughtful and fun to be around. And Rebekah wanted so much to brag about him to someone to April most of all, cause April excepted Rebekah for who she was, and April was Rebekah's friend, so she wanted to share her relationship with the other girl.

Rebekah wasn't sure if that is how friendship worked now a days, or any days for that matter, but it was what she wanted to do. She smiled at April and hoped the other girl wouldn't mind that Rebekah wanted to brag about Noah.

April laughed at Rebekah's comment about having an affair back in the 1860's. She knew she was likely joking or at least hoped she was for the least. Tonight was going to be a fun night and she wanted to have fun even if that meant gossiping about boys.

"Noah who?" she asked as she grabbed a hair brush and began brushing her hair out and then grabbed some rollers and heated them up. "Sure you can tell me about him if you want to. Also before we get too cozy talking about boys can we also do hair and toenails and that other girly stuff?"

April grabbed a comb and ran it through her hair as she fixed it up in a messy ponytail. "So tell me about this Noah," she said as she grabbed a comb and brushed it through Rebekah's hair and put a hot roller through her hair and smiled. "Your hair is so pretty," she said as she continued putting rollers in Rebekah's hair.

April grabbed some pins and stuck them through Rebekah's hair and couldn't help but smile remembering doing things like this with her mother when she was younger. Oh how she missed her. It had only been a few months since her mother passed away from her battle with cancer. You never know when life will come and take away a loved one before your very eyes. April blinked back tears from her eyes and wiped them away with the back of her hand.

"Noah Brennan, my boyfriend." Rebekah said, giving out a happy sigh to April. "He is so sweet, and smart, and wonderful, and really good in bed." Rebekah said, winking at April when she talked about Noah's prowess when it came to bedroom play.

"He is a teacher..." Rebekah began with a frown. "...please don't tell anyone that he is dating me. I'm not really a real student after all. We couldn't help it, we love each other. Promise me you won't tell on us!" Rebekah said, suddenly her voice taking on a serious tone. Rebekah didn't care about breaking the law, but April might, and she didn't want Noah to get into trouble.

"Thanks." Rebekah said as April complimented her hair. "I love your hair to." She added with a giggle. She didn't mind all this girly stuff, in fact she hasn't really had many girly moments like this one in a very long time and liked April rolling her hair. She normally kept her hair straight now a days, but she will show it off to Noah tomorrow and see how he likes it.

She nodded. "Thanks April, I really needed some girl time." She said to her with a soft smile. "You will like Noah when you meet him." She added looking at April. "And I am sure we will find a guy for you sooner or later, I promise." Rebekah said with a wink. "What kind of man do you like? So we can narrow down the search." Rebekah asked her.

Rebekah was dead set on finding April a boy, that way she can be just as happy in that aspect as Rebekah currently was. Rebekah smiled at the thought, maybe they could go on double dates together, and April and Rebekah could swap stories on how their men were gods in the bedroom. She giggled softly at the though.

April listened intently to Rebekah as she spoke about Noah and couldn't help but giggle when she said that Noah was really good in bed. "Don't worry I promise I won't tell anyone," she said. "Where does Noah teach at if you don't mind me asking?" She was just curious. "I get along with just about anyone to be honest," she added smiling.

April continued rolling Rebekah's hair up and finished clipping it all up after putting in the rollers. She couldn't help but giggle. She was having so much fun. "Well there is one guy I do have a itty bit crush on he works at the Grill," she said smiling as a blush crept up to her cheeks. "His name is Matt Donovan. He used to baby-sit me when I was younger and I think he may like me, but I'm not sure if he likes me or not." She bit the inside of her cheek.

April giggled a little. She couldn't help it. She was enjoying this night. "I'm going to pop some popcorn right quick and let you pick a movie for us to watch. I got a better idea how about we make the popcorn the old fashion way by popping it in one of those popcorn fryer's that you put in the fireplace and let it pop like that?" she asked as she grabbed some popcorn kernels and put it in the bowl.

April smiled as she let the popcorn pop and the kernals started to shoot out. "This is so much fun," she said as she grinned at Rebekah. She heard her giggle and she looked at her. "What are you thinking about?" she asked as she tilted her head to the side at Rebekah. "If you are thinking I should ask Matt out you out of your mind," she added hastily as she blushed slightly.

Rebekah smiled at April. "Noah teaches a class at our school, but he mostly teaches younger kids." Rebekah replied to April thinking fondly of Noah and him being a teacher. It actually turned Rebekah on to no end to know he is a teacher, as it was suppose to be forbidden, but she didn't care one bit about humans and their silly rules.

Rebekah chuckled as April mentioned she had a crush on Matt. "That's weird, I had a thing for him to, but then I met Noah. Matt would be perfect for you, he is so handsome and sweet." Rebekah said with a soft sigh. She still had a soft spot for Matt and didn't mind that April liked him, in fact she was glad that if she couldn't have Matt that April could.

"Sure, popcorn sounds good, and lets watch Titanic." Rebekah said with a small smile. Ever since Noah told her about what happened to him on the Titanic, she had wanted to watch that movie. She had been in a box for 90 years, so she wasn't caught up on the latest blockbusters, there weren't really many movies back then and if there was one thing she really liked about this time period was their movie's.

"Oh, just that we could gossip about how good out boyfriends are in the bedroom, once you and Matt hookup that is." Rebekah said with a wink and playfully nudge April in the arm. "Why not, be brave April. He wont turn you down, I know it. In face, he likes normal girls." Rebekah said, her voice couldn't help but sound a little sad. That is why it could never work between Rebekah and Matt, cause she wasn't human.

"Go for it April! Don't make me do it for you." Rebekah added with a chuckle.

April listened to Rebekah as she talked and couldn't help the sly smile that formed on her face as she blushed slightly. "Are you nuts?" she asked as she giggled. "Matt use to baby-sit me when I was a little kid. There is no way he will ever go for me because I am too young for him," she said.

April ran her fingers through her hair and smiled. "Titanic sounds great to me," she said as she grabbed the movie and put it in the DVD player and spread out a blanket on the floor and some pillows and set the popcorn bowl on the floor and ate some of it. "Fine. I will ask him out, but I highly doubt he will go out with me due to my age." She narrowed her eyes slightly and sighed softly. "And if Matt rejects me then what do I do? I can't cling to him like a puppy," she said as she blushed.

Whoa since when did April start babbling about guys? She was sixteen and Matt was a senior in high school for heaven's sake. She sighed softly as she blushed deeply. "You ask him out for me and I will disown you," she teased as she threw popcorn at Rebekah playfully and stuck out her tongue at her. "I am kidding," she added with a smirk as she poked Rebekah. "So lighten up a little." She sighed softly as she watched the movie. "So tell me more about your boyfriend," she said as she watched her.

"To old for you?" Rebekah said almost dreamily. Rebekah didn't know what April meant by that, love was love, it didn't matter what age you were. "Well, if I dated people my age, I would be single forever... or have to date my brothers, bleh." Rebekah said playfully to April.

"If he is to blinded by age to see that your a great girl, then that's his loss." Rebekah added reassuring her. Rebekah tried to win Matt over, but it seemed he wanted a normal girl, and April was a normal girl, not a vampire or monster, so she wouldn't understand at all if Matt rejected her.

Rebekah settled in next to April and began watching the movie. She sighed thinking about Noah on that beautiful ship and sailing for America. "Well, if he says no, you keep trying, you never give up on a man." Rebekah said, she never gave up on Matt herself, she just met Noah and fell in love with him.

"OK, OK, I promise I wont ask him out for you." Rebekah said giggling. April made Rebekah promise not to ask him out for her, she said nothing about talking Matt into asking April out himself. Rebekah had a plan and she would get Matt to ask April out if it was the last thing she ever did.

"Noah is amazing. He is so sweet and smart and charming." Rebekah said, not even bothering to worry about the fact that she was bragging about him. She showed April her bracelet. "He gave me this, and it was our first date." She said showing the bracelet off proudly to April.

She snuggled against her pillow and smiled as they watched the movie together. She was having fun and loved spending time with Rebekah. "Thank you," she said politely when Rebekah agreed not to ask Matt out for her. "I just find it sexier when the guy asks the girl out...call me old-fashion," she replied breathlessly as she rolled over on her pillow. She couldn'yt believe that she actually admitted that she had a crush on Matt and she knew it was only a matter of time that she would get the courage to tell anyone. She knew it was going to be an effort to ask Matt out since he was older than her only by a year or two.

April looked at the bracelet and smiled at Rebekah and she reached out and touched it. "It's beautiful," she replied softly as she smiled. "You're completely in love with Noah, aren't you?" she asked. She could tell by the happiness in Rebekah's eyes that she was utterly happy. She wasn't a mind reader, but she was good at figuring out people's emotions. "I really want to go out with Matt, but he use to baby-sit me with Elena and well things mahy get awkward." April blushed deeply.

"Matt is a good guy, that is why you have to try really hard to get him." Rebekah replied to April watching the movie and wondering what it was like for Noah to be on that ship. He said he was in first class, so she wondered if he got the same grand treatment as the film stated, or if it embellished a bit.

Rebekah laughed as April rolled her eyes at her joke. Though the thought of being with Klaus or Elijah, or Finn, or Kol made Rebekah sick to her stomach, still it was only a jest and Rebekah would never do that. "I knew that would make you laugh." Rebekah said with a smile.

"It doesn't matter to me. I know guys can be shy asses sometimes, so I prefer to ask them out myself if I have a thing for them." Rebekah replied honestly. She was the one that asked Noah out on their first real date, and she was the one that teased him so he would take her under the bleachers, she would not tell April that was how they met.

It wasn't exactly Romeo and Juliet the way they met and fell in love, it was more like a x rated movie. Still, it didn't stop them from falling in love, and Rebekah thought about him constantly. She looked at April and smiled. "Yeah, I love him, more then anything." She replied to April in reference to Noah.

"Well if Matt cant get over the fact that you are no longer a baby and you are an attractive, beautiful and smart women, then that's his loss." Rebekah replied to April when she kept coming up with excuses as to why Matt and April cant be together. Rebekah is a take charge girl, and April seems to be the opposite. She would never take no for an answer, but April seemingly would.
