- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -She stood there, her blonde hair flowing in the breeze as she stared out the window, staring down at the street where people bustled to and from, going on with their every day lives. They had no idea that the huge mansion, which was once a private school before it was closed down due to the tuition being too expensive, now housed an army of slayers that were being taught to harness their powers in order to save the world time and time again. They had no idea that there were vampires, demons, and other things right in front of them that could kill them in a second. They had no idea how dark the world really was.
She however did. Having been the slayer since she was 15, Buffy Anne Summers knew exactly how the world worked. She had saved it more times than she wanted to admit and knew her job would never be over. Sure she had help now, with the other slayers being activated in order to keep the forces of darkness at bay. However in reality it was still her job. She was THE slayer, the TRUE slayer. The only one who knew what that was like, even a little bit, was her sister slayer Faith. Even then, she had never been the 'only' slayer as Buffy had been.
The blonde turned away from the window, not wanting to look at the happiness around her anymore. Instead she focused on where she was. She had one of the largest bedrooms in the school they had converted to a ‘Slayer School’. Yes, none of them could think of a better name for it. Next door, another huge building that had once been a hospital, had been converted into The new Watchers Council, being headed by her watcher, Rupert Giles. She was thankful that the buildings were next to each other. They had even had a tunnel constructed underground (it had already been there from hundreds of years ago, they had just had to do a bit of construction on it) so that the two buildings could be accessed from either building. It also helped in case there was an attack, they could escape to one building or the other.
This felt almost like déjà vu. She had been doing this exact same thing one of her last night’s in Rome before moving to Richmond. She knew that she would get interrupted just as she did that night so it didn’t surprise her when one of the girls came and told her that she was needed. From then on she was in meetings for the rest of the day until the sun went down. Walking into Satsu’s room she smiled. “Want to go for a walk with me? We head back tomorrow and I figure we could both use a bit of fresh air since the entire time we have been here we’ve done nothing but deal with snotty girls and I’ve been stuck in meetings.” She told her and motioned for the door. “I’ll let you get changed, I’ll wait outside.”
She knew that they needed to talk about a few things, it was one of the reasons that she had brought Satsu rather than Willow or Xander. However because of how busy they had both been this week they hadn’t had the opportunity to do so.
Guess now was their chance.

---------------- ---------------- They were back home at the place that Satsu grew into what she was, the Slayer that she was today. If it wasn't for this school she never would have learned what she knew today, but more then that it was because of Buffy. She had made her the kick ass Slayer that she was, which is something she will always be thankful for. This place really was the only family that Satsu had anymore, her parents really didn't want a thing to do with her since they found out her secret. Plus they didn't like the fact that she just had to leave with out word. But that was to bad she did what she needed and wanted to do. After all she was a Slayer that was chosen.
Satus was packing up some stuff that she had left at the school, she knew she was going to be in Richmond a lot longer then she thought. Which was good she was happy getting to stay there longer with Buffy, plus it seemed like she was needed after all. It seemed there was a lot of crazy shit that went on in that town, which was why the Slayer like it. She had needed all this action that was going on, and there she was getting it. Getting the trill that she needed, plus she was close to the one person that she wanted to be near.
Speak of the devil as Buffy entered the room, she could tell that after today dealing with all these girls she was tired. But really should couldn't blame her having to act like a drill sergeant. "Yeah going for like a walk sounds good, I could use some fresh air. And you really could use some with all you have had to deal with today." She said with a smile. "Yeah just give me a moment to get dressed and I will be right out, plus I'm making sure I have all my stuff that I will need to take with me to Richmond. When I came I didn't bring enough. "
Satsu could tell that there were things they needed to talk about, she could tell that just by the look she had when she asked about talking a walk. Why Else would she have brought Satsu with her, but it was all good they were due for a talk just the two of them. It seemed they were always so busy to the point they never just get to talk just them.
After she was dressed she made her way out of the room looking for Buffy, she noticed her standing at the end of the hall. Satsu couldn't help but smile at how cute Buffy looked as she approached her. "You know again you need to tell me where you get all those cute boots." Said the Slayer. "So ready for that walk now, sorry it took me a few I have a lot of stuff to get together."

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She ducked her head inside Satsu’s room and held up one finger. “Hey, I’m going to go change too. Meet you in front.” She told her before walking back to her own room, having realized while waiting that she was in no shape to walk the streets in Rome in the sweat pants and t-shirt that she was in. The slayer school was large as it had been converted from an old office building to a school of sorts. She was glad that the older scoobies, she, Xander, Willow, etc...really had their own apartments rather than just their own rooms. She preferred it this way in order to get some privacy that in a place this large with as many people as there usually was it was difficult to come by.
The blonde slayer quickly slipped out of her sweat pants and t-shirt and traded them in for a pair of distressed skinny jeans, a gold sparkly top that was low cut, a pair of lace up black boots that she got for a crazy good deal a few days after arriving in Rome back the year before, and a tie around short leather jacket. She usually preferred the longer jackets but she figured this one was less conspicuous and more stylish. Her cross hung around her neck as usual and up her sleeve was her trusty stake. She was ready to go as she headed down the stairs to the main entry way.
She smiled when she heard Satsu's footsteps and looked up, catching her eye. "Not a big deal. I completely understand. I grabbed a few other things to bring back with me as well." She told her. "Plus I grabbed some of Xand man's comic books and a couple of Willow's witchy things. I have no idea if either one will even care since I'm not a witch or a comic book person but eh, it was the thought that counted right?" She asked with a laugh as the two headed out into the cool evening in Italy.
She loved the weather in Rome. It was hot in the day and cool at night, the perfect combination. She had always hated patrolling in the dead of summer since California was notorious for its heat and Sunnydale was no different. Hell she actually remembered Xander talking one time about how the demons on the Hellmouth preferred it extra hot.
It was definitely the truth.
She slid her arm through Satsu’s as the two walked down the road. “So you’ve been quiet the past few days…what’s up?” She asked, concerned for the other woman lacing her voice. She had always been close to Satsu though things had been a bit strained since their drunken encounter a few months earlier. She still hadn’t told Angel…or anyone else that matter about it and while she felt guilty about not telling them, she also felt a bit better since there were some things that she just wanted to herself.

-------------------------------- She wonder what it was they needed to talk about, she wondered if maybe it was about them. Maybe Buffy was having second thoughts , but then again no Satsu wasn’t that lucky plus she knew how she felt about that vampire. She truly loved and wanted to be with him more then anything, and Satsu thought that was really great. She wouldn’t ever dream of messing with a love like that, she wasn’t that kind of a person. Satsu really does believe in true love, and thinks it’s a great thing to find when you do. But did it have to be with a vampire? Buffy really was a strange girl, but then again she did like her at one point so yeah she was, but so was Satsu.
She then began to worry that maybe Buffy wanted her to stay there, maybe she didn’t want her coming back with her. She really hoped that wasn’t the case she really was starting to like Richmond, but then again she wondered why she brought her all they way out there. But the girls didn’t seem like they were doing that bad to the point she was needed there, then again this was Buffy and they all know how she worries for those girl. The thing that sucks is Satsu couldn’t talk back she was just going to have to stand there and take it, leave if that’s in fact what she wants. Satus is just prying and hoping that wasn’t the case.
She smiled at the fact that Buffy still remembered to get things for her friends, it really was sweet that she never forgot about them. “Yeah it is the thought that counts they will be happy that you remembered, but I would look for something to bring back for Dawn you don’t want her getting upset that you didn’t think about her.” She said with a laugh. “But yeah I wanted to get some more things of mine since I will be saying there a bit longer, I will be right..?” She asked Buffy hoping that wasn’t what this conversation was about, she really didn’t want to come back here just yet. It wasn’t that she hated it but being away from there was a nice change of pace, she had missed her friends and being there she got to be with them. “Sorry I know I’m being paranoid again right? “ She asked Buffy with a smile.
They began to walk through beautiful Italy with one another, it was the perfect weather for a walk. It was weather like this they had missed, but just a little. It was nice in Richmond, it also got Buffy away from all the hard teaching here. But then again work wasn’t easy there with all the Slaying, taking on Glory was not walk in the park that was for sure.
She had asked Satsu why she had been quiet the last few days, when really she didn’t realize she had been. But maybe she had made it more obvious then she had meant to. “Why you ask?” She asked the Slayer. “I mean I guess I had been but I have had some things on my mind I cant lie, I mean seeing you again may have brought up some things cant lie there.”

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She laughed at the comment about Dawn. “Already took care of her too. She brought back most of her stuff already so I figured she’d prefer having a few new things. I went shopping the other day and bought her a couple new pairs of jeans. Figured she’d prefer that to anything old. Dawn isn’t the most sentimental of people anymore, which is ironic since a few years ago she used to write everything she did every day down in these journals. She tore them up a couple years ago and since then hasn’t really done any writing or cataloguing of anything.” She told her, her eyes full of sadness for her baby sister who had to grow up much too fast.
She was surprised when Satsu asked her if she was staying in Rome or coming back with her. “You’re definitely coming back with me. For one thing, your charge is still there. Sarah is still in Virginia which means you still have an obligation to train her.” She told her with a laugh before leaning in and nudging her shoulder. “Besides, if you think your leaving me alone with the house of crazy with only Faith for me to rant to, you’ve got another thing coming. Why should you get to run away from the nuttiness?” She asked her with a grin.
Seeing the cemetery that they were around she grabbed Satsu’s arm and dragged her towards it, figuring their conversation was better had in privacy rather than in the middle of a side walk where anyone could hear them. “Listen, I know that I hurt you, with what happened between us. And I just wanted to say that I’m sorry.” She told her, the slayer’s hazel eyes boring into the other girls. “I hate that I hurt you…you are one of my closest friends and I never meant to lead you on.” She told her, honesty showing through.
“I never expected Angel to come back honestly….but even if he hadn’t I wouldn’t feel that way for you. I love you, but not in the way that you want…and if I hadn’t had been drinking away my sorrows, I would have never used you like that. Used I guess is a bad term because that implies intent and I didn’t intend to lose control. And I want you to know that it has nothing to do with you being a girl either. It took me a long time to realize it but I finally did. Angel is the person that I want to be with it. I can’t take substitutes like I did with Spike and I can’t hurt anyone else that I care about because I can’t have who I want. So if it’s not Angel, it’s no one. But I know we should have talked about this a long time ago. I shouldn’t have left for Virginia without telling you, especially after that. I never wanted to hurt you Sat. I’m sorry.” She finished, waiting to see how her friend would reply.

-------------------------------- It really was sad really that poor Dawn had to grow up so fast like that, living in a world like this and having your sister be the Slayer couldn’t have been easy. But then again Satsu loved how close and sweet they were with each other. Always having each others back, being there when they needed someone. It almost made Satsu wished she had a sister or brother for that matter. Satsu was only child which was part of the reason her family was so protective of her. So maybe if she would have had a sibling it would have changed that. “That’s sad that she feels that way, she never should have stopped writing. You know Buffy maybe you should buy her a really nice journal. Bring it home and tell her she should start writing again, you know it might be good for her.” She told the Slayer.
The inner child inside of Satsu wanted to jump up and down, scream for joy that she was getting to stay. But she wasn’t going to do that, she would try and stay professional the best she could even though it was hard. All though it was hard not to laugh saying she didn’t want to be left with Faith, Satsu couldn’t lie Faith wasn’t always the best to rant to about girly stuff. “Well I’m happy that I’m getting to stay, and you can rant to me whenever you want.” She said a smile. “I also will train Sarah as best that I can, I wont let you down.”
Buffy then grabbed her arm taking her in nothing but a cemetery, she knew it had to be so they could talk more privately. It where they always went to talk, well other then fighting. “I swear we live in these things, cant get away from them” Said the Slayer. She was right as Buffy began to talk about what happened between them. It kind of shocked her to hear he speak about it, seeing that it was a awkward time for them. But she could tell that Buffy was really worried that she had hurt her, and was sorry for all that happened. “Its ok Buffy its not your fault, I let my feeling get the best of me. I should have known that wasn’t what you would have wanted. But I care for you so much I couldn’t help it I just went with it, I don’t know why but there is just something about you that I feel. Something that I don’t feel with anyone else.” She told her. “But you are my best friend too and I don’t ever want to lose that, so I’m sorry for everything as well.”
It was so hard for her having to say that, knowing she had to let go, they were just friends and Buffy had made that clear. She didn’t go that way at all, plus she was very much in love with someone. “I understand that Buffy and I think its great you are in love with someone. But just so you know I don’t feel I was substituted, I feel that you needed someone a friend and I was there. We just sort of took it to far due to alcohol, but I’m glad that you are telling me this not wanting me to feel that way. Thank you Buffy you really are a great friend and I love you.” She said going in for a hug.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She smiled at the genuine care that Satsu showed for her younger sister. It gave her a strange sense of peace knowing that there were people who cared about Dawn other than her. She knew that while Xander and Willow cared about her, it was because they had memories growing up of her. She knew had it been any other way there was a good chance that while they would still care, it wouldn’t be the same protective instinct that they had now. Granted, she knew the same could be said about her but at the same time she doubted it. She loved her sister and no matter what it would never change.
It gave her a sense of relief to know that should something ever happen to her (not that it would now but she knew that other things could happen and she could easily be taken away from her sister) that she had people who cared about her and would protect her. It had been something she worried about for the few seconds before jumping off of the portal (the first time) to her death…if Dawn would be taken care of. She knew her father was useless at that rate and was more than grateful when she got back to see that Willow and Xander had done everything they could to keep Dawn with them.
She smiled at the relief that showed on the other woman’s face. “Good to know. I’m sure Willow wants to put some sort of spell on me every once in awhile for ranting to her.” She told her with a laugh. “Besides, hopefully soon you’ll be paired up with a watcher and so will Sarah. The Watcher’s academy graduates are just about done and Giles let me in on a little secret that a few are being sent to Rome so hopefully before long you’ll have your own Giles!” She told her with a snicker. “Or at least your own Xander.” She nudged her, knowing more than anyone how it could be awkward at times with new watcher slayer relationships.
She smiled sadly at Satsu and shook her head. “Never apologize for acting on your feelings. If anyone understands, it’s me. Your talking to the woman who slept with not one but two vampires…if anyone knows about acting on feelings, even when a part of you tells you that it’s wrong…it’s this woman right here.” She told her, pointing to herself in a self-deprecating way.
She hugged the younger woman back, holding her a bit longer than she probably should but she had a feeling that the other woman needed it. She knew how it felt to love someone that was unattainable. She pulled back briefly and moved a lock of hair out of the other woman’s face, leaning in to brush a soft kiss upon her cheek just as she would anyone, though she knew it would mean more to Satsu. “Just so you know, if I wasn’t stupidly in love with a vampire…and I had ever thought about being with a woman…you’d definitely be the one I’d chose.” She told her honestly, hoping that it didn’t hurt her.

-------------------------------- Buffy had told Satsu that soon she would have a watcher of her very own, just like Buffy had with Giles. But the thing was she really wished she didn’t have to have one, not that she hated hanging with someone, or rebelled like Faith or anything. It was more from the fact that Sutsu loved working beside on one person, and that was Buffy. They were such a good team and she had taught her so much. But she knew that wouldn’t cut it that Buffy wasn’t a watcher, she was a Slayer like all of them who had a watcher herself. So sadly she hated to admit it she knew the rules, and knew that soon she would have to be teamed up with someone. “Well cool I just hope that whoever I get is as cool as you or Xander, you know someone I feel comfortable with and talk to about anything. Like I do with you.” She told her.
She was right Buffy had been through lot, if anyone knew about feelings it was her, which was why Satsu felt like she could tell her anything. Buffy was so easy to open up to. There wasn’t anything that Satus couldn’t tell her, sadly there wasn’t anything she didn’t know because she did open up to her. “Well thanks Buffy its nice to know I can , I feel like I can tell you anything, act how I want and I cant do that with anyone else. Which maybe why I really….. acted on them you and kind of went to far if you get me. I feel so comfortable talking with you, you really are the best friend anyone could ever ask for.” She told her.
Satsu was one that did like to hug a lot, again one that liked to show her feelings. She love that she could do that with Buffy open up to her, all her life she never had anyone she could talk to, or pay attention to her for that matter. Satsu’s family never really took the time to listen, they never cared much for how she felt or had to say. It didn’t make sense really, they were so strict but yet they never really cared for how she felt. It was sad really, but she was done and away from them so none of that mattered now. Satsu was where she was meant to be.
Letting go finally from the long needed hug, that she needed to feel for so long she gave the Slayer a sweet smile. She felt as she pulled the lock of hair that was in her face, then placing a sweet kiss on her cheek. The girl couldn’t help but blush feeling her lips touch her cheek. She put her hand to her cheek afterwards feeling were she had kissed, wishing so much she could give the affection back to her. But she knew with how she felt might not be smart. She then smiled to Buffy commit, it was nice to know that she could love a girl like her. “Well thanks its good to know you would be with me if you were into woman. But now all you did was make me want to kill a vampire and make you hate men, some how anyway which I could do.” She said with a giggle playing around.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She knew right away that Satsu hearing that she would have a watcher was not going to make the Japanese slayer very happy. She knew that Satsu had grown up a lot during her time being a slayer and it was going to be incredibly difficult for her to fall back to the child mentality that sometimes went along with having a watcher. She knew that she and Giles had a different type of relationship than most watcher and slayers but she still knew that the watcher was meant to be the guide meaning that the slayer was supposed to take orders from them…Satsu wasn’t one on being given orders unless it was from someone that had earned her respect.
She saw something war within the young woman’s eyes as she sought how to proceed with her thoughts though it didn’t take her long before she agreed, wishing that she would get someone like her or Xander. “I still find it amusing to hear that Xander is a watcher. If you would have known him in high school, he hated reading, hated research, hell even two years ago he threw a fit about research…now while it’s not his favorite past time…he’s found that he likes to help…and being a watcher…it’s a noble way of helping.” She explained with a fond smile at the thought of her best male friend.
“I personally think being a watcher is harder than being a slayer. Sure we have the physical hard part, but have you ever thought about how difficult it is to be a normal human with normal strength in a supernatural world? To know all these things exist and to see those that you care about going against them but to not have the strength yourself to fight them? I can’t imagine how difficult that has to be.” She spoke.
“So while I rebelled against having a watcher and really being a slayer for that matter, I have so much respect for them because really, our job is the easy part…we go where they point us and we slay. They had to not only know the answers and sit by while we do the world, but they are the ones who are left when we…” She started but trailed off, not wanting to talk about slayer’s death so casually with someone as new as Satsu. While she knew that Satsu was more mature than the others it wasn’t something anyone ever wanted to hear about.
She laughed at Satsu’s next few comments though she wagged her finger sternly. “No killing my vampire young lady or else you and I will have some large issues.” She stated, the smile on her face teasing but the hard light in her eye made the threat very real. She had made it common knowledge that there were vampires within the inner circle of the Watcher’s Council and Slayer School head and if they were harmed, attacked or even talked badly about and she found out she would not be a happy person. She spread the rumors herself about her love for the ensouled vampire and her friendship with the other.
She knew Satsu was joking but she still gave off that warning tone in habit. “Also, honey, as much as I love you, I can’t see myself ever hating guys…sorry.” She stated with a laugh, nudging her with her shoulder.

-------------------------------- It is kind of crazy hearing that Xander wasn’t much for books or research, hell the guy pretty much craves for it now. Its something he loves to do, Buffy was right Xander did love doing things to help people. He was one of the most noble people that Satsu has ever met. “That is so crazy hearing that he wasn’t much for that stuff back in school, because now he is all about it. But you know then again sometimes people change and they do it for the better of things.” She told the Slayer. “I’m so happy for the day that I found out that I had a better purpose. A chance to help people and make the world safer, because Buffy before I found that out and met you I was lost to where I was going. I think living with my family almost made me feel stuck and like I had no goal in life .” She then placed her hand on Buffy shoulder. “But thanks to you I know now that’s not the case, I know where I belong and what I was meant to do.”
Buffy was right watchers didn’t have it easy at all, dealing with all they had to see there Slayer go through. They really do become close to there Slayer, it was then that Satsu realized how strong people Giles and Xander really are. “You know you are right Buffy it can be easy, I mean Mr. Giles is like a Father to you. So I can only imagine what he has had to go through, I mean he had to watch you die and that couldn’t have been easy at all.” Satsu really hoped that she had not hit a soft spot in Buffy, after all she was only trying to get to know more about her past. She cares about her so much, she just wants to be there for all she has been through. “Sorry that was a bit deep to ask, this probably isn’t something you want to talk about.” She told the Slayer apologizing. She could understand why having a watcher was so important, it made Satsu realize that she needed to give someone a chance. She needed to let someone in and mold her to become a great Slayer just like Buffy is. “Well you have showed me how important they are Buffy, I will learn to let some in and give them a chance.” She said with a smile.
Even though Satsu wasn’t happy about not getting to be with Buffy, didn’t mean she was going to hate the vampire. She still wanted to meet the guy and get to know the person that Buffy loved so much, it matter to Satsu because she knew that he was important to her. “Well maybe sometime I can meet the guy that was able to win Buffy’s heart, and don’t worry I will be nice.” She said with a smile. She giggled with Buffy because she did have a point, she was very much into boys. “Yeah I cant see you hating them ether.” Said the Slayer.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She laughed and nodded. “It was pretty funny. The first day I met him he and I actually ran into each other.” She stated, shaking her head as she remembered Willow and Xander before she busted up into their world. “I dropped all of my stuff including a stake by the way… I didn’t even notice it until Willow and I had met later on in the day. He came back and handed me the stake, stating something about building a little tiny fence. I pulled some stuff out about it being for self defense and pulled some LA stuff about it being all the rage.” She stated with a shrug.
“If you can imagine it, Willow had crazy long pin straight hair down to almost her butt and Xander wore these geeky shirts and was just a goof ball. Willow also wore dresses and tights and the two of them have changed so much. Granted I also wore tight tops and short skirts.” She stated with a laugh, motioning to her current ensemble of skinny jeans, boots, a short sleeve shirt and a leather jacket. "So apparently we've all changed. I used to change my hair a lot back then. I think it was around the same length it is now, maybe a bit shorter, but it was a different style and I usually always wore it up." She stated with a shrug.
“I sometimes wonder if they would have been able to be safe and happy if I wouldn’t have come into their lives, but I know if I mention this to them they’ll deny it. Actually I have mentioned it to them and they did deny it which doesn’t surprise me but I still do sometimes wish that while I love having them in my life, I don’t want them to get hurt and I know there would be a good chance they would be okay had I not interfered.” She stated though she knew that there was also an equal chance that they would have been killed sometime during high school had they been out without her around to protect them.
“Hey, I didn’t do anything. I just followed Willow’s spells and told those who had been activated their choices. I was glad when you stepped up though. You were one of the first to actually agree to training since a lot opted to have their memories altered and their powers locked away again.” She told her. “So when you consented and you seemed to be excited about it yet not naïve enough to think that it would make you wonder woman, I was glad to see that.” She told her with a grin.
She shook her head with a faint smile. “No, it’s okay. I can’t imagine what would happen had the situation been reversed.” She stated, though her smile was a bit forced since she knew she would have to live that eventually but it was something that she refused to think about as long as she could.
“I know that it’s a pain and there are watchers that I want to beat up…trust me…but most of them are just trying to figure out a way to do some good without being able to actually fight the things that they know are hurting people. So thank you for giving them a chance.” She told her.
“I’m sure he’d be thrilled to meet you.” She told her with a wink, though internally she wasn’t sure how well that would go. For one thing, Angel had no idea about Satsu, and for another, Angel wasn’t exactly thrilled to meet anyone…that just wasn’t his personality. That would definitely be interesting.

-------------------------------- It was pretty funny getting to hear all the stories Buffy had to tell in school, it couldn't have been easy being the Slayer while going to high school Satsu couldn't even imaging. Always having to watch your back from people finding out, having to try and be in school on time, and most all having to lie to the teachers that couldn't be easy at all. Satsu wouldn't even know what to say coming in all banged up from a fight, she wasn't a very good liar so it wouldn't go over well. She never had to worry about school with being a Slayer, she was home schooled and did so well to the point she finished grades faster then others. It wasn't long before she was gone and done with school. It was sad having parents so protective to the point she never even went to school. "You know that does sound like something Xander would say, he has always been a kidder huh." She said with a giggle. "But I bet it wasn't easy always having to lie about were you had been to the teachers, with all the Slaying how did you have time to graduate?"
"Oh my god did they really dress like that." She said trying to hold back her laugh. She was trying really hard not to laughs as she was explaining how Xander and Willow looked back in the day, she really didn't need to laughing at people that were like teachers to her. Plus It was the 90s after all its how they all dressed, so she might want to cut them a break. She couldn't help but wear a big smile when she heard how Buffy dressed and wore her hair. She sounded like she was so good looking back in high school, she must have drove every guy nuts, and made every girl jealous. "Well I think you guys all sound so cute back in school."
Satsu didn't know if she agreed with Buffy, if it wasn't for her she wouldn't have been there to keep them safe from the hellmouth. They wouldn't have learn how to stay alive, so when Sunnydale went down they would have all gone down with it. "You know Buffy I think you being in there life was good, I mean you still would have been there at one point to take down the hellmouth right?" She asked her. "So If you wouldn't have met them you couldn't have keep them safe, they wouldn't have known anything about it and would have gone right down with it. But then again with out them maybe you wouldn't have been able to save the world. You be suprized what the power of freindship can do" She could go on and on showing Buffy how much they really needed it each other, but she wasn't going to blab anymore Satsu knew she was getting the point.
She told Satsu that it was Willow that made her who she was by activating the spell, which proved her point again. "See You needed her to actvate all of them, plus without Willow you wouldn't have met me." She said giving her a big smile. "But yeah I know I'm not wonder woman, all though with all that you go through sometimes it seems like you are." She could tell that Buffy repeated her choices for giving a watcher a chance, after all its what Buffy would do and that's enough for Satsu. She looked up to Buffy and wants to be a kick ass strong Slayer just like her. Even though she will never be Stronger or more kick ass then Buffy , but she could at least try.
She could tell just by the way Buffy was talking Angel would not be a fan of Satus, but she was OK with that she wasn't so hot on him ether. Being with the girl she loves, plus he was a man, and worst of all a vampire, something that Satus is not a fan of. But she knew how Buffy felt about him so that was enough for her to want to meet him. "Oh yeah just thrilled, I'm sure he will really love me if If found out what we did." She told her. "Which is why he will never know other wise your boyfriend might eat me to death. I mean this is Angelus we are talking about, so promise me we never tell him Kay." She said with inosent smile.

Not only did I barely pass my classes because of never getting any sleep, but I was also expelled twice.” She told her before explaining before the dark haired slayer had a chance to quiz her on the details. She knew most people had heard about her being expelled from Hemry in Los Angeles but not a whole lot of people knew about her being expelled by Snyder in Sunnydale. It wasn’t a time that anyone liked to talk about however Satsu was different and she had always been able to talk to the dark haired slayer more freely than she had with most.
“The first time was back in Los Angeles, I had just been called a few months before hand. A bunch of vampires attacked a school dance and instead of trying to fight them all I got everyone out and then I burned down the high school gym and killed all the vampires that were inside. I wasn’t charged with anything luckily but I was expelled from school which was really the last straw for my parents who were already in the process of a divorce. So after that happened my mom and I went to Sunnydale.” She told her, remembering with a sad smile that it had really been the last time she and her father had any type of relationship. Sure she had spent the summer with him after her first year in Sunnydale but once she had come home he had really wanted nothing to do with her. It probably didn’t help that she had been not really herself that summer after what had happened with the Master.
“Then about a year and a half later in Sunnydale I was expelled. You’ve heard how Faith was called after Kendra died right? Well I was found by the police kneeling over Kendra’s body and when they wouldn’t listen I ran. My principal was pretty much a troll and when he found me in the library with a sword in my hand he told me that I was expelled. I ran away that summer after a bunch of other stuff happened but when I came back my mom tried to talk him into letting me back in but it didn’t work. I think Giles threatened him but I never really heard what made him change his mind…however he dropped my expulsion and I was allowed back in.” She continued.
“As for how I graduated, thank Willow for that. Well, actually she and Angel both. And Giles. Willow forced me to study when I really didn’t want too, Giles made me finish my homework in the library as to not piss my mom off and Angel was always a fountain of information if I needed to ask him anything. I used to play the dumb blonde card really well and still do half the time though luckily I’m not nearly as dumb as I make myself sound sometimes. Though the only reason I graduated was because of Willow forcing me to.” She told her with a laugh, though she knew it was true.
She shook her head with a fond smile. “I’m definitely not wonder woman. Not even close. If I was then I wouldn’t have lost as many people as I have since becoming a slayer. Giles lost his lover, Willow lost hers, Xander lost his, we all have lost people that we loved so trust me, I’m not wonder woman.” She told her sadly.
She chuckled and shook her head. “Angelus may be a douche but Angel is pretty open about things. He may get a bit jealous but he’ll handle it. I can’t promise never to tell him as I can’t promise he wont hear it from someone else.” She told her with a laugh. “This is Angel we are talking about and since Willow knows and tends to ramble when she’s nervous god only knows what she’d say in front of the three of us. Plus I hate keeping secrets from people that I love.” She told her sadly, knowing that there was one secret she had kept from everyone that she cared about and one that she was dying to talk about but she felt as if it was wrong to tell anyone about it since of how she knew they would take it. She knew most wouldn’t take it well.
Hell she wasn’t even taking it well.

-------------------------------- Poor Buffy becoming the Slayer did do a number on her, it seemed like she had a bumpers road then Satsu did, or any of the other girls for that matter. Getting kicked out of School didn’t seem fun, it had to be hard dealing with her family with all that. Satsu’s family would have killed her, but then again school was a lot different of a road for Satsu. It did make her sad to hear about Buffy parents, that’s never an easy thing for a child to go through. “Well I’m sorry to hear about that, just know that there divorce had nothing to do with any of that. I just hope you never blamed yourself for it.” She said patting the Slayer on the arm giving her a smile.
It seemed like poor Buffy had been through one thing after another, it seemed like things never got better only worse for her. It almost made Satsu wish she could have been there for her, been there when she needed someone most. All that couldn’t have been easy to go through, it just proves that much more how strong and kick ass Buffy is. She definitely is someone that Satsu highly looks up to and hopes to be just like. She was happy to hear that Willow helped and made Buffy Finish school, which does sound like something she would do. She was good when it came to things like that, plus it was something Buffy needed after all, Something that a normal average girl which is something Buffy tries so hard to be. “Well I’m glad that Willow helped you, and Its awesome that even with all this Slayage you still graduated. Which I can tell you didn’t sound easy.” said the young Slayer.Buffy may not feel like wonder woman but to a lot of people she is, she has done, helped, and saved so many lives. “Well I feel like you are, you will always be a hero to me.” She said giving Buffy a gentle smile.
Buffy was right Satsu couldn’t expect her to never tell anyone about them, plus she is madly in love with him after all she couldn’t lie to him. That wouldn’t be right, Satsu would want Buffy to be honest with her after all. Plus Buffy was right Willow couldn’t keep her mouth shut to safe her life, she was kind of bad when it came to secrets. “Yeah I can understand that I guess, sorry I guess I’m just worried he will be mad and not like me. I know I worry way to much.” She said with a giggle.
As they were talking they had made it to there plane, loading there bags. It was time to head back, meet back up with everyone and clean up Rome. Satsu was just happy that she was getting to go back, she didn’t want to stay here. She wanted to go were the rest of the gang was and see what Adventures lies ahead.
