----------------------- ----------------------- Christian sat in his room. As per usual he was caught up to date when it comes to homework. Although he had a lot ofit doing almost a double major. It was practically unheard of really. Even stil he loved his work, it was the entire reason he had wanted to escape. However his dorm room wasn't holding much when it comes to distractions. He re-read the letter he had recieved from his sister. He loved his sister more than anyone else in the world and yet he couldn't understand why she didn't move here with him. Get away from their parents who were nothing but socialites and just wanted to ensure that their family looked better than others. He wondered what they were saying about him. He was shocked that no one had found out about his disabillity either, it was hard to keep things hished up in that world. But anything was possible when you had money and lived on the upper east side.
He rolled his eyes at the words his sister used to describe her debutane ball. She had had the time of her life and he just wished he had been there for her. It was a big thing to go to one of them or even have one of your own. He wished he had been there, jsut to support her, but knew that his parents would never have let him step foot in the door. He was the one who had walked out after all. It didn't mean that he had been cut off however, no he refused most of the money. He worked a job that was normal and just wanted to fit in with a normal life. He sighed and stood up and started to pace around his dorm room. He really needed to get himself an apartment so everything wasn't so cramped. He loked over the picture of him and his sister and then shaking his head grabbed a jacket. He figured he needed to get out, part of being normal was making friends right?
He headed out side and had no idea where to go. He worked at the cafe so wasn't too keen on heading in there just to talk to all his co-workers. Plus you didn't really meet people in a cafe did you? She sighed and ran a hand through his hair messing it up like he always did when he was nervous. Talking to strangers really wasn't his forte and knew that he would end up going somewhere sitting down and hoping someone would talk to him. He needed a drink. He normally wasn't one to drink but tonight he seriously needed one. He had heard about a bar in these parts of town but still had never managed to find it. He figured he should ask some one but again, talking to strangers didn't really suit well for him. He shrugged it off and listened, he could hear the sound of pool and music coming from an alley way. Of course it would be a run down place but it was better than nothing.
He saw the sign of Willy's Bar outside. So this was the dive that people kept on talking about. He shrugged it off and entered, not even getting carded at the door like he thought he would. He figured he should sit at a table but decided against it. There was a weird atmosphere in this room and wondered if it was just him. He walked to the bar and smiled at the person behind the counter. He figured it was Willy but didn't want to ask just in case it wasn't. He was asked what he wanted and ordered himself a beer. Just something that would calm him down., if he needed something stronger then a bourbon would be needed. He smiled and thanked hte guy and took a sip. He looked around the room and someone caught his eye. She was brunette and putting it nicely, she was gorgeous. Christian averted his eyes quickly and re-focused upon his drink.

----------------------- ----------------------- Katherine sat on the couch bored out of her mind at the hotel room she was kind of paying for more compelling it for free. She would stay at the Salvatore's but she was getting more nervous about Klaus. She looked at the empty bottle she had finished a while ago. She was not even buzzed. "Damn." she muttered. It looked like she was going out tonight. But definitely not in Mystic Falls. Without even taking time to mull it over she was dressed in a black slinky dress and heels with a black fitted leather coat over it. She was out the door and downstairs to her car.
Katherine drove for awhile making her way out of Mystic Falls it was not long till she found herself in Richmond. A smile spread across her lips a new town that did not know a single thing about her. Perfect. Just what she needed maybe this would be the perfect place to escape for awhile. Till things cooled down.
Katherine parked and stepped out of her car her dark curls unfurling around her face. It was truly not hard to find the closest bar. She followed the stench and noise. Only she was surprised by what she found as she entered Willy's Bar. This was certainly her kind of place. A smirk made it's way onto her lips and she ordered a scotch on the rocks from the bartender with a quick wink and seated herself at a table crossing her legs.
Kathrine was so unsure what to do with herself who to talk to first. If to even flirt or bottoms up with her drink. An odd excitement filled her for the evening. She was so glad to be out of Mystic Falls it was a good feeling. She could rally let loose tonight. Her dark brown eyes landed on a hot guy at the bar. He was certainly cute. She was thrilled when he noticed. "Well hello..." she muttered to herself. She noticed he looked away with that she grabbed her drink and headed over to him.
She leaned against the bar next to him taking a small sip of her drink before setting it down on the bar beside her. "Hi, My name is Katherine." she said boldly introducing herself to the dirty blonde haired boy. " I think your the cutest guy in this bar." she said with a wink. "With that being said would you like the honor of being my drinking buddy tonight?" she asked picking her glass up and wiggling it slightly before taking a sip. She was in a playful mood that was a fact and she was hoping to enjoy her evening with someone else.

----------------------- ----------------------- Chrstian could tell this place was frequented by the wrong kind of people. The kind of peop that he normally stayed well away from. However tonight was differnet, he was trying to blend in with this town. He had started university, he was caught up on homework and he wanted to make some friends. He had come out here for an escape from his past life, nothing would stop him from doing that. Not even worrying about his sister tonight. No tonight he was going think about no one else but himself. And maybe that really pretty crunette. He really hoped she wasn't the type of girl that expected everything from him after one drink. He figured that she could take care of herself from the confidence she was radiating and not to mention the way she was dressed. The black dress really did her justice. He caught himself wanting to stare at her but tried not to, it was rude and his social therapist would be offended if her hard work had been for nothing. No he would be polite at least.
He watched as she seemed to notice him as well. She spoke once to herself and he kept his eyes down. Being shy really sucked sometimes. Taking a long drink from his beer he looked up and wondered if he should buy her a drink first, either that or she would no doubt move onto someone else in this place. However she had already ordered herself something so he tried to act as though he wasn't looking at her. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair messing it up. Luckily it went back into place, he had the messed up kind of look to his hair all the time. He considered walking over to her but just couldn't. Taking off his jacket he placed it on his bar stool and sat on it. He would need something to cool him off or warm him up later, things could get pretty weird around him all the time.
When Christian looked over once more he saw that the girl had actually moved to sit next to him. He was unsure what to do in this situation and figured he sure as hell was going to need that bourbon after all. He smiled when she introduced herself first. "Hey, I'm Christian. Nice to meet you" She swivelled slightly so he was facing her more. She really was pretty. He looked over at the bartender and ordered some more drinks. "Can I get a bourbon please and what ever this lovely lady is having." He smiled over at her. He was being nothing more than polite but hoped that he wasn't making a fool of himself at the same time. At least she seemed to be interested in him as well. He wondered if anyone else was watching the two of them, he hoped not. There could be soo many people in here a lot more interesting and attractive than him. When she said that he was the cutest thing in the bar he almost fell over himself. Not something he had expected at all. A girl like her must have plenty of people that she could call and have a good drink with and yet she was asking him to be with her for the night and have a night of alcohol. He figured why the hell not right? "Umm thanks. I would say your the prettiest in here tonight but i'm going to guess that you already know that" he added with a slight smile. Just because he was autistic didn't mean he was socially inept like some. He nodded his head to show he would love to be her drinking buddy for the night. "It would be an honour." He raised his beer to hers and watched as the other two drinks came along. He took a long pull from his beer and would drink the bourbon afterwards. ----------------------- ----------------------- Katherine sat herself on the bar stool respectfully and crossed her legs. She shrugged off her leather jacket and set it be hind her. It was a cute addition to her outfit but it was hiding the dress she was wearing. So it was only a matter of time before she shrugged it off. She loved showing off her body and was not afraid in the least to flaunt her curves. One of the joys of this century there was certainly less bulk and layers to clothes. Katherine loved the olden days more then modern but one thing she loved about the 20th century were the clothes.
Katherine smiled at the guy as he spoke introducing himself. Her eyes dipped over him drinking him in more. He certainly was a handsome one. She bite her lip excited by the prospect of just letting loose tonight. Sure she would have rather had a Salvatore by her side but hey you win some you lose some. She was not going to let it define her or ruin her. "Christian, A pleasure." A smile remained on her lips as she watched him order them more drinks. Cute. He seemed like a sweet guy she was glad she had chosen to introduce herself. God was she glad to be out. Tonight was a Klaus worry free night! She had decided it. "Thanks." she said sipping her drink glad a new one was on it's way already.
Katherine tilted her head to the side this guy was different from the usual guys she met in bars. He was a lot more polite and not using any outrageous pick up lines she was used to. It was weird but oddly refreshing in a way. Katherine looked at him quizzically for a moment processing his complement. It was also a first for her. "Thanks, I can come off quite confident...I'm honestly just looking for a fun night out. what's wrong with getting dolled up for that." she said off offhandedly making a conversation of sorts.
Katherine was thrilled her agreed to drink with her. She took a sip of her drink and downed the rest as new drinks arrived. "So Christian tell me abut yourself? Do you live here in Richmond?" she asked picking up her new drink. "I'm visiting from out of town so I don't know much about the place. I kid of stumbled across this bar tonight...I'm certainly glad I did." she said unable to hold herself back from flirting with the guy.

----------------------- ----------------------- Christian didn't know what to make of this girl. She had a confidence that he wasn't used to. Mainly because it was rare he really spoke to people and he didn't have any confidence himself. It was almost as though she knew what people thought of her and just didn't care. He wished he had that kind of attitude. Although he was immune to what people really said as they didn't hurt his feelings more than anything he just wished that he could be like everyone else around him, he could be normal and not the freak that had a melt down when someone entered his personal space without his permission of when the colour orange was blaring right into his face. He sighed at the thought. He just wanted to be normal and accepted into this community. However this girl seemed to not mind that he was obviously shy and just trying to go out for a night.
He watched as she took off her jacket to reveal the dress she was wearing underneath. He couldn't help but look. She was sexy and she probably knew it as well, he just couldn't believe that she was sitting here with him and not off with someone else who she obviously deserved. He smiled towards her. "The pleasure is all mine" He added to her words. He really was fascinated that she was sitting here and talking to him. Katherine seemed like the kind of person who went for the people at the top. "Not a problem, i'm just shocked every other guy in here isn't trying to buy you a drink. I know that probably happens a lot where ever you go" He added with a small smile. He ran a hand through his hair once more, it was bad habit that he was always trying to break but never could. He couldn't help his small chuckle at her words. Getting dolled up? He hadn't heard that in quite some time, it prooved how long he hadn't been around girls. It made him miss his sister a little but instead focused upon the present company he already had. "There is nothing wrong with it. You know girl tend to go over the top but it seems you've got it just right. I take my hat off to that" He said with a slight bow of his head. He was happy to have the company and it wasn't exactly as though it wasn't pleasent company. "So what brings a girl like you out here to a dive quite like this one?" He asked as he looked her over. She was playing with her glass and he figured that she would know how to hold her alcohol. It was a good job he did as well although he didn't drink too often. He listened when she asked him to tell her about himself. Yeah that was a real conversation stopper. How to tell a girl you have a disability than can send you into a blind rage and almost kill your own parents? He sighed at the thought and just smiled slightly. "There isn't much to tell. moved from New York to here and im now studying at university. What about you though? A pretty girl like you must have an interesting story behind you" He asked with a smile. She carried on saying that she hadnt been in Richmond very long. "I've been here for the last year and honestly it's just like every other small town. But it's nice. Quiet. You don't have to try so hard to fit in. I'm glad you chose to come here as well" He picked up on her flirting a little and smiled towards her taking a drink of his bourbon. ----------------------- ----------------------- Katherine was certainly glad she had come here. she would have to spend more time in Richmond anyways. she had been in Mystic Falls to much for her liking. She loved mystic Falls is was one of few places that was kind of home to her. but right now Klaus was lurking about there and she was not about to let him catch her in his clutches. She would have to stay away for awhile maybe even go out of state if need be. But for now she would not let it worry her. She was intrigued by the current company she had.
Christian was an interesting character not what she was used to. But maybe she wanted something different. She had to admit it was quite refreshing. Katherine shook her head at his comment. Sure, he was right some places she did get swarmed by guys but she did not want to come off to full of herself. Besides there was the rare occasions she was not into that. "I don't want to talk to every other guy in this place..." she said simply with the shrug of one shoulder. "Maybe I just want to have some fun and get to know you." Katherine said smiling at him. For a guy as good looking as him he certainly was timid.
Katherine smiled a small laugh escaping her lips as he spoke and bowed his head. "Thank you." she said in reply to his compliment. "You know a top hat would look good on you." she teased. God, she did miss a nice looking gentleman with a top hat from time to time. Katherine glanced around the bar as he asked what brought her here. It was not to bad she had been in far worse bars or taverns for that matter in her time. "Just trying to get out more and get used to the town." she said being slightly honest. she was getting a better feel for this town since she would be spending more time to keep away from Klaus.
Katherine listened intently as he spoke about himself. He was certainly being mysterious that was for sure. "From New York, quite the move!" she said wondering what brought him to such a small town. It seemed this town might be the quiet place she needed for now. "Let's see, about me...I am quiet the traveler honestly. My work keeps me moving from town to town city to city. I've been all over the world. You would never guess I was originally from Bulgaria." she admitted. "But alas I'm looking to settled down." she said her dark eyes meeting his bright blue ones. "I just want a place to call home." she said before taking a sip of her drink. "Small town seem to suit me better." she said with a nod. "Shocker I know." she knew most people assumed her to be a city girl. "I'm just full of surprises." she joked.
"So what do you want to be when you finish university?" she asked.

----------------------- ----------------------- Christian wasn't used to people talking to him outright let alone being the ones to approach him. He just wasn't used to people full stop, when he had said that ro Cordelia he hadn't been joking. The only one he normally allowed in his personal space was his sister Amanda and even that was rare. Their hugs only occured when they hadn't seen each other in a long time or when she wanted something. He did miss her an aweful lot. So this girl Katherine approaching him and talking to him over everyone else in this bar was hard to Christian to comprehend. Maybe there was something there that he didn't know about. Was she here to play him for a fool or was this flirting and being nice to him actually real? He knew he had to take a chance no matter what though, he had come out tonight to maybe make a new friend and this was his chance.
He couldn't help his smile when she said that she didn't want to talk to any other guy in this place. Maybe this was his chance after all. Having a one night stand was never really on his mind nor had he thought about sex much. He was no virgin but he just wasn't a fan of people being in his space so it was rare and inbetween for him. "Well i'm glad you chose to come and talk to me either way" He added with a sweet smile. She said she just wanted to get to know him a bit better. Was that flirting? He couldn't exactly tell too well. "Vise versa, I would love to get to know you as well and have a fun night with the prettiest girl in here" He knew that he was flirting a little with her but he was never any good at it. Most girls just tended to run away screaming from him. Tonight he was going to change that. He couldn't help his laugh at her comment. A top hat? Was she trying to call him old fashioned or just a gentleman. Either way he was honoured. The people back in them days or the guys anyway, were always thought of with respect and most girls had always fallen for the guy in the top hat, or so he heard. "Well, I'm sure I can arrange one in case we should meet again sometime" He added with a little smile. She was seriouely hot and being sweet to him. He nodded his understanding at what she said. Yes getting out more was agood reason as it was the entire reason he was here. "I can relate to that. I wanted to get out for once. I needed to escape just for abit" He added with a slight shrug. He was glad now that he had, otherwise he would have missed out on the chance of talking with Katherine. He smiled when she admired where he was from. Most people were like that but he personally preferred the small town life. She went on to tell him about her history and he was intrigued. It was interesting to meet someone who had travelled a lot. "That's fascinating. Was there anywhere you wished you could have gone but never had the chance to whilst traveling?" He asked interested in her answer. He knew what she meant thought about the small towns. "That makes two of us. I prefer the small towns also. Some great people here" He was referring to her of course. When she asked about his university he smiled. "I'm studying neurological surgeon so hopefully I'l be able to continue into the actual job when I finish there, but I have another year there yet. [/blockquote] ----------------------- Words: 623 Tagged: Katherine Outfit: Click here for Christian's clothingNotes: It;s short sorry

----------------------- ----------------------- Katherine was glad she had come out and indulged herself. then again she was just happy to be alive and out and about after her run in with Klaus. She had some affairs to get in order now but she deserved some fun. All work and no play was not the way she liked things. She tended to let pleasure and business intermix when it was helpful of course! But she knew she had to be careful with herself from time to time.
Katherine smiled at Christian he really was a quite the sweetheart and more then easy on the eyes. Sure she was quite the fan of bad boys but she also loved her prince charming. Her smile grew at his complement. "You really are a doll." she said warmly.
Katherine's smile grew as he mentioned meeting her again. Oh yes that would be lovely. Sure, this man would make a lovely meal but he may actually be of use to her. After all everyone needed there outlet! "that would be a sight to see." she commented on the thought of him wearing a top hat if they were to meet again. "You would be quite out of your time but I believe some of us were always born in the wrong century." she shrugged her shoulders. "So does this mean you would want to see me again?" she asked a wide almost cat like smile on her lips. Katherine nodded is certainly was nice to get out even for a bit. " It's always nice to escape the hardships of day to day life even if it is only for a night. who knows that night could be the night of your life." she said with a wink.
Katherine tilted her head to the side and thought for a moment. the she softly shook her head. "I only desire for a permanent home." she said honestly then shrugged her shoulders. 'Though I do hear Venice is nice." she commented. "Though I have been to Italy just not Venice or Antioch." she commented nodding her head. She smiled when he agreed with her on small towns. "I'm glad we agree." she said before taking a sip of her drink she ha seemed to have forgotten. she was just enjoying talking to Christian it had fallen to the wayside. "Wow." she said in response to his degree. Damn he had to be smart. my oh my was that attractive or what. She certainly knew how to choose them. "I have to admit you have made me even more intrigue and attracted to you." she admitted. "I bet it's a lot of work." she said with a smile. she wondered what had gotten him into that field... Well she was not one to be quiet. "What got you interested in that field?" she asked curiously.

----------------------- ----------------------- Christian was surprising himself, he wasn't one to usually go out and get friendly with someone and actually flirt and realise that they were flirting back. His lack of social communication and social ques generally made flirting one sided for the other person, but he was making a consious effort for this girl. Maybe she was just really pretty. Either that or there was something inside of him telling him that he needed to make more of an effort. He could be extremely determined when he wanted to be and wasn't afraid to show it either. It was the enture reason he had been able to leave home in New York in the first place. The reason he had been able to go against his parents wishes, because he was determined to be his own person and not let his parents control his dreams. This was the same situation.
Katherine was big on the compliments but it made him wonder if she thought that this night was going to progress into something else? If only she knew that one nigh stands just didn't sit well with him. Someone who he didn't know very well in his personal space ws definitely not his idea of fun. Taking another drink he noticed she was on the second glass already. "So what is a girl like you, who I have no doubt had the choice to go anywhere in the world doing here in this small town? Visiting friends or family I would assume but then I'm guessing your about to surprise me" He said throwing in his shy and yet charming smile. Maybe it was the alcohol helping him more than he knew. He indicated to order two more for the night, buying a girl drinks for the night never really hurt anyone now did it? Katherine spoke like she had remembered the days where people wore tall hats and it instantly raised his suspitions. This girl could have lived longer than usual. He had always be curious and wondered if the supernatural was real and yet sometimes there were people like Katherine who made his curiousity levels rise. "It certainly seems that way, or maybe we were just brought up in the same ways as the older times" He said with a small smile. Unless of course she had been brought up in those times. She asked if he wanted to see her again and Christian smiled. "Well considering this hasn't been unpleasent and nor has it been boring I can definitely see it on the cards for later on" He spoke looking towards her as their drinks arrived. He grabbed his beer and finished the other one before pulling the new one towards him. She spoke as though she had never settled in her life and it made Christian wonder how much of a life she had actually lived. He knew he had a slightly sympathetic look on his face but just couldn't help it. He didn't mention his toughts however. "I can happily say I have been to Venice, Vienna and Sienna. All beautiful places although I preferred Vienna. Never been to Antioch though. A girl like you would be able to appreciate somewhere such a Italy" He said with a smile. He nodded when she said it was a lot of work, if only she knew, but he kept on top of it all quite well. "It can be but once your on top of it you tend to stay that way you know? And I guess it was my interest in disabilities. Some mental ones really trump me and I just progressed further into it really. What about you? Are you studying or working?" He asked noticing she pressed for his information but seemed blasë about giving her own. ----------------------- ----------------------- Katherine was enjoying herself thoroughly she wished she had stumbled upon this place sooner. Willy's Bar certainly intrigues her that was for sure. She would have to come here again sometime. Katherine knew how to handle herself after all she doubted she would have anything to worry about in a place like this she would most likely be underestimated as usual. Katherine turned her attention back to the guy beside her whose company she was thoroughly enjoying. Katherine laughed running her hand through her dark hair. Damn that was a rough question to answer honestly. This guy was obviously human and certainly blind to the supernatural. Well as far as she knew. So being honest made it difficult.
"I like small towns first of all. But I used to live in a neighboring town. As much as I wish I was visiting friends I am here on business. Though I have to admit I am becoming quite the fan of Richmond." she said with a smile. "And it's people." she added with a wink. 'But I'm here tying up lose end to some business. Sprinkling in some pleasure when I can." she said with a soft shrug of her shoulders. "Maybe making some new friends." she added slyly her dark eyes flashing to him before she had a nice sip of her drink. God she loved a good drink. Mm, she was on top of herself tonight! She smiled to herself glad to be having some much needed fun. "I hope to be able to settle here when things are said and done. If possible." she said with a shrug.
Katherine shrugged her shoulders in reply to him. "Maybe." she knew she was raised different then dear Christian. She barely got to grow up at all with the help of her parents since they were slaughter just as she turned. No she had learned to survive and cope with the ways of the world on her own. But she did enjoy specific periods for sure. Sometimes she missed the olden days. "It's hard to find an old fashioned gentleman now a days." she said simply with a smile. "They are honestly hard to come by." she admitted. Katherine smiled when he agreed to see her again. It was always a good feeling when you had confirmation that a guy was interested in you. "Maybe we can meet somewhere...nicer." she said glancing around. "I'm not complaining but a dive bar is never a place for a girl to have all her dates." she teased.
Katherine smiled as he spoke and took a sip of her drink loving the burn it had on the back of her throat. God! She loved a good drink. Katherine tilted her head to the side thoughtfully. "I would love to go to Italy. It would be a nice vacation that is for sure." she said wistfully. "Just need to find someone to go with and I'll be set." she said biting her lip before smiling. Katherine always liked a guy with a good head on his shoulders. The dumb ones were just so...boring! "Oh wow, mental illnesses. That's what you interest in?" she asked. "What got you started?" she asked curiously. Katherine was enjoying getting to know this guy. It was nice not having to deal with people throwing her past in her face. "I work." she said simply. "Done with college life and trying to make it in business." she said with a smile. "People tend to underestimate me so I do well." she said before sipping her drink again.

----------------------- ----------------------- Christian was a very observant person. He had always been the one in the shadows watching everyone else and they never noticed when he was there or not. So when he was speaking to Katherine is was almost as though there was something she was trying to hide. Whether it be something about herself or her past or just something that she didn't want him in particular to know he could see it in her. Especially in the way that she would re-direct his questions to try and get him talking about himself once more. There was just something about her that arose all his old suspicsions and it was interesting to feel that way again. Either way he was going to try and find out about it, what ever it was that she wanted to hide. What was the worst that could happen? He made a complete fool of himself? That wasn't anything unusual.
Katherine started to explain why she liked small towns. Surely someone like her would crave the action of a big city where something was happening every day and not just every now and then if you were lucky. Even meeting someone new was rare in towns such as these but he didn't make a comment only smiled towards her. "Well i'm sure you could find a way to escape buisness for awhile. Everyone needs a bit of a relaxtion time at some point. Yes the people here are certainly improving" he reutrned her casual and yet suggestive remark. This girl was soo pretty and yet he couldn't get a place on where she was headed with his. Did she just want a one nighter? Something more? Just friendship, this was he was socially inept. It just seemed like everything was compicated trying to read into things. He couldn't help the smile when she said that once she had tied up some loose ends she was hoping to make a few new friends and maybe even stay in this small town of Richmond. It wasn't as small as the town of Mystic Falls but it wasn't exactly a large one either, not in comparison. He nodded his head. "Friends mean you have an excuse to come back. I'm very glad to have met you if thats the case" He spoke with a small shy smile. Taking a mouthful of his beer he looked over at her and couldn't fathom how attractive and beautiful she was. He nodded with her comment. "It's a nice place to settle down. Especially if you like small towns. It's the reason I chose it" He said with a smile. Pushing a hand through his hair he looked around a little and saw people looking at the two of them but made a point of ignoring them. She brushed him off on the way she was raised which only made his curiousity grow a little more. What was she hiding that was so bad? He wanted to know but wasn't going to push it too far, incase she thought him of having bad intentions, not a good thing. He bowed his head slightly. "And how am I doing? Living up to expectations or not enough yet? I will happily buy your drinks all night to ensure that the bar rises for me" He said with a small smile. He finished off his beer and started on the next one he had ordered. There would be more drinking than he was used to tonight, but that was ok. He chuckled slightly at her comment and nodded in agreement, the bar wasn't exactly the best of places. "Yeah most definitely. But maybe for coffee or something?" He asked with a small smile playing on his lips. Italy had been one of his favourite vacation spots, which is a rare thing for him to say. He was happy to know that she would have loved to go there as well, he could even hook her up with all of the best hotels to stay at and everything. He chuckled a little at her words as if she was implying that he were to take her. "I'm sure a girl like you could get people lining up outside to take you" He spoke in a compliment towards her. She asked what got him started in disabillities and he needed to avoid that answer. "I guess the mechanics in it, it has always fascinated me really." He changed the subject on to her. "What sort of buisness do you do? I can imagine people don't know what hit them when you come along" [/blockquote] ----------------------- Words: --- Tagged: Katherine Outfit: Click here for Christian's clothingNotes: Sorry it took me forever! ----------------------- ----------------------- Katherine ran a hand through her hair just to play with it. It was the girly side of her kicking in. She was feeling rather flirtatious tonight. sure, tonight was not providing beneficial to her cause but hey a girl had to let loose and have fun every now and then or she would go crazy. Not that she was not a bit insane already. But that was not to unusual for a vampire at some point or another. But tonight she was playing nice. she was still just dipping her feet into the town of Richmond.
Katherine quirked her head to the side listening to Christian as he spoke. She smiled at him warmly. "I do enjoy my fair share of fun." she said simply. 'Maybe I'll find someone to escape with.she said suggestively before taking a sip of her drink. That was if she did not end or trapped and tortured. "As long as I don't become detained." god she hoped Niklaus did not get his claws on her. Just the idea made her cringe slightly.
Katherine smiled at him god he was cute she was surprised he was not exuding more confidence. she was used to guy being cocky with his kind of looks but her was a lot more shy. It was quite unusual to her to find a guy like this. "I'm glad to have met you as well Christian.' she said simply. 'You really do intrigue me. Your not the kind of guy I'm used to." she admitted. "I like it." she said softly. she was glad he liked Richmond it made it a better prospect for her to settle down in for the time being. "Good, that makes me feel better about looking into buying a house." she said with a simple shrug of her shoulders.
Katherine laughed at him as he asked how he was doing. He really was adorable. oh the innocence he seemed to have. Not a common thing to find. "You doing wonderfully." she said with a wink. "Though I would love another drink." she said taking another sip off hers. Katherine liked the idea of meeting him again he might be perfect for her to use to feed on. Maybe even become a boy toy. No she was not going to get a head of herself. After all she was not planning on making her mark on this town so she could be found. "I would love to get coffee with you." she said simply. "Next week work for you? I know it must be hard to fit something in last minute with homework and school." wow those words felt weird coming out of her mouth. She was used to compelling humans but she wanted a challenge and to have fun.
Katherine nodded in reply to him she could get almost whoever she wanted. It was who she really wanted that she doubted she could get. Sometimes things were to complicated for her. Oh well. "Yes, but the trick is to find someone you enjoy being around to go with you." she said with a nod. Katherine listened to him speak. Nothing had ever struck her like that. "Oh, I'm a bounty hunter/" she said with the wave of her hand. "I track down people who try to skip out on bail." she said with a smile. "One of my many talents." she said with a smirk.

----------------------- ----------------------- Christian was happy to have met this girl. She was interesting and pretty and had done wonders for him as well. She made him feel normal even though he wasn't. Was this the way it always was? Did normal people just sit around and chat up girls and now think twice about it. He knew he would end up giving her his number. Katherine was exceedingly pretty, no beautiful and there was just something about her that made him want to believe there were good people out there. He knew his fear of talking to be people was ridiculous, his social therapist believed so as well. Yet he couldn't help it. People had teased him his entire life, including his own parents. He hadn't been the perfect son they had wanted, he almost wanted to know what they were telling people about where he had gone after he ran away. Probably some fancy college or something.
He couldn't help his smile in her direction when she mentioned finding time to have some fun. Isn't that what all girls craved really? Some way to escape their lives and have a little fun. He smiled at the thought of not having to worry about work or school, just have to relax and find different adventures. "I'm sure a girl like you has many ways of having fun " He spoke. When she mentioned being detained he frowned slightly. Surely her work wasn't all that consuming right? So much so that you couldn't even escape for a night or two. "Well I hope you don't. You deserve a chance to escape sometimes. We all do" She smiled towards her once again before pushing a hand through his hair as was his habit and messing it up. He glanced over at her and was struck by her beauty. Christian could see her smile that seemed to come towards him. He couldn't be more thankful for it. Did she think him good looking or was it that she was just looking for a one night stand? If only he could explain why that wouldn't happen. Why he couldn't let people touch him really. She spoke as though she really was genuinly glad she had met him. He scribbld down his number and passed it along with her next drink. He took a sip from his own beer and finished off the bottle as well. "I can only imagine the type of guys that would be running around after you. My number is there, anytime you want a drink. Let me know" He spoke whilst a slight smile and drinking from his new bottle of beer. She really was looking into moving into town. "Well if you need help moving in, i'll be your guy" Katherine was being honest with him when he said he wasn't doing too bad. He had been watching people long enough to know when they were lying to someone. He was proud to have a caught a girls attention, especially one like her. She must have guys snapping after her and fighting over her all the time. Surely she had a boyfriend or something. She asked for another drink and he smiled and nodded. Ordering her one more he payed for it once again. "For you my lady" He spoke with a slight wink of his eye. Had he really just done that? Yes he had. Oh well unless she said something about how bad his flirting was then he would just not mention it. She wanted to have coffee? Yes to that one. "I would love to have coffee. If you just text me when and where i'll be there. Just not on a Thursday, it's my busiest day" He spoke with a smile. Katherine finally gave up some details about her job. That was interesting. Why did she want to avoid telling people about herself was beyond him but he could imagine a few inmates that would want her head for themselves. If they were behind bars then they were there for a reason and he wondered if she was here searching for someone or just trying to see if there was anyone. Either way it was fascinating. "You have a fascinating job. I can imagine people would avoid you like the plague when they realise why your there. But I can tell you would be good at searching people down who try to run" She spoke with a slight smirk as he took another pull from his beer. He wouldn't get drunk easily but he would sure as hell sleep well tonight, he should go out drinking more often. Christian couldn't stop staring and knew he probably looked like someone who was going to start stalking her at any minute and start off by following her home tonight. Hell no that wasn't the case and turned away from her for a moment. The place was starting to empty out and looking at the clock said it was half twelve. He didn't have a curfew or anything, one of the many perks of living by yourself. But he did have a routine that he had to follow before he went to bed. His pills would definitely knock him out after all this alcohol. FInishing off his beer he looked over her and smiled. "Unfortunatly i'm going to have to leave you. I have to get back before they close the dorms on me and I have some stuff at home to take care off" He stood up and put his jacket over one of his arms. Taking her hand he kissed it and praised himself on his efforts. "I shall await your call" He spoke with a smile and headed out.
