~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It was a quite night in the boarding house for Willow, which was nice she had need a nice night at home with all the chaos always going. It seems like the gang is always out fighting or taking care of something. So whenever Willow gets these nice quite times she worships them while she can, or at lest till something else goes wrong. Which in this town they moved to it could at any given moment, but that’s ok because the gang is always ready for whatever can come there way. Willow sat down on the nice comfy couch that they had, and decided to see what was on the big screen. She looked and looked through but nothing was on really, just nothing but boring TV infomercials, talk shows, and reality shows which Willow had no interest in. But finally she came to a movie that grab her interest, it seemed to be some love story about a girl loving a vampire. Willow couldn’t help but giggle thinking about what it reminded her of, she then wondered if Buffy had seen this? Then they had shown what looked like the vampire sparkling in the sun!! “What that’s dumb, They don’t that! They have gotten that all wrong for sure! I have got to see if Buffy has seen this dumb movie, its so funny!” She said laughing her head off. Then there was a knock at the door, which threw her off guard a bit. “Who can that be? I don’t think we are expecting anyone.” Willow got up off the couch and begin to make her way to the door. She looked through the peep hole on the door, god only knows who it could be. With there luck it could be anybody, monster, demon, again who knows. So far she didn’t see anything threw the peep hole, so she figured just to open the door and take a chance. Hopefully it wouldn’t be a monster of some sort. Word Count-368 Tagged- Outfit- Click To See Willow's OutfitNote-~~~~~~~~~~~
----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] After a fight and a few bickers Cordelia was finally her way off to the boarding house, thank god. Even though Spike was the last person she wanted to see first, she had to say it was kind of good seeing him although that blonde hair of his needed to go. Cordelia was at the boarding house and looked at the door. She wasn't sure if she should ring the doorbell since it was the past midnight which meant people were probably sleeping but whatever. Cordelia went for the doorbell and heard it ring. The gang did good considering this was a really big house, probably from Angel's money.
Cordelia leaned on one side. She was actually extremely excited to see who would open that door, unless it was nobody she knew. If it was Angel then that would make her pretty happy since she was close to him and if it was Xander then that would just annoy her. Truth be told she was still kind of hurt that he cheated on her, he was her first love and he kind of screwed her and even though left on good terms it still hurt her. She shook her thoughts away from her mind because she didn't need to be thinking of this kind of stuff considering high school was literally years ago, god she was getting old. This was it, the person was opening the door.
The door was fully open and Cordelia had seen Willow, she instantly smiled. "Well, aren't you going to invite me in?" She said with no luggage at hand or anything. Cordelia walked in the house and looked at it. "Pretty," she said with another smile and looked at Willow. Cordelia approved of whoever did the designs to this house. It was big and gorgeous and just all around great but she wasn't sure if she wanted to stay here because she kind of wanted to get her own place, she needed space plus it might have been too much for right now. She had wished that she had a job just so she could but this place would have to do for now, if they let her stay.
She wondered what was going on through Willow's head at the moment. "You must have a ton of questions, but I need to at least sit down I fought like two vampires I had help but still, not something you wanna do when you wake up from being dead." Cordelia just wanted to relax and sit down but she obviously didn't know where anything was so she would wait for Willow to point towards it. She actually felt weird being here, she was so used to L.A. and then so used to being dead but everything was so different, she had hoped that she could adjust to it all because she needed to and there would be no other way. She looked at the red-head waiting for her response or movement.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow finally got ready to pull back the door, ready to see whoever it was waiting. She slowly pulled it back and when she did she was in shock to see who was standing there, It was Cordelia Chase. Willow was a little lost because last she heard she was dead, she must have been another one of the many that had came back with out answers. But Willow was sad to say the one person she wanted was still a no go, she pretty much had told herself she was never coming back. But she was ok with that, knowing that wherever Tara was she was happy. Willow came back to reality still a little in shock to see her, a bit speechless. “ Yes come in please! Sorry I was just a little a bit taken when seeing you.” Said Willow. She could tell that Cordelia liked the house, but then again this place had her written all over it with her being the material girl and all. “You like it huh, yeah we have all grown to really like it here. Its nice and roomy for us all.” It was true Willow felt like one big happy family in this place, she loved having all her friends under one roof. Willow stood there still in shock on how she was even here, she was waiting for her to tell her something but so far still nothing. She was more worried about checking out the house, but what else was new really. Willow knew one thing for sure the rest of the gang was sure as hell going to be in shock, especially Angel. They worked beside each other for so long, It had to be hard losing his partner like that. Then Willow wondered what Buffy was going to say when she saw her, she has never really been part of the Cordelia fan club. All these things going through the witches head but still no answers, she hoped that soon she was going to tell her something or anything for that matter. Finally something other then the house, but it was the last thing she ever would have thought she would say. “Wait you fought to vampires on the way here? Nice but I didn’t think you were much of the fighting type, I mean the last time we hung out you weren’t anyway.” Willow explained. “ So you said you had help from who may I ask?” Word Count-410 Tagged- Outfit- Click To See Willow's OutfitNote-~~~~~~~~~~~

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] "A lot of guys used to say that about me," she said jokingly. In high school held their breaths around Cordelia, well except Owen and Angel. "And warm. I think I'll like it here," she said to herself mostly. She was actually excited to move in the house but one thing she would miss a lot in L.A. was Dennis who was basically her personal ghost, now she would have to do everything herself which wasn't a fun time at all. She was with her friends so she couldn't ask for more although she would have to get used to the change, was she even ready to be apart of this world again? She wasn't so sure but hopefully she was.
Cordelia knew that Willow probably just wanted her to cut to the chase but she just got there, she needed time to relax a little bit and just enjoy the scenery. She still couldn't believe this would be her new home and sharing it with the gang, it was definitely weird being back and it was going to be awkward seeing Xander and just everyone she used to know. She wondered where Faith was, she hadn't seen her in a while either well considering Jasmine possessed Cordelia so she totally wasn't herself when Faith was finally a good guy. She then wondered about Angel, she had missed him so much and not seeing him right now was kind of killing her, she had grown so close to him, they were best friends. She was just glad to see Willow at least.
"I didn't tell you? Angel taught me how to fight and so did his son. Now I'm like a professional even...though I've been dead for like ever," she said with a little frown. "I'm no Buffy but if you put me up against Xander I bet you any money I could totally win," she said extremely confidently. She knew Xander was a watcher and skilled but Cordelia was skilled also, maybe one day she would kick his ass for cheating on her all those years ago, she'd have to think about that. Cordelia started moving to the room with the couches. "Oh my god you're not gonna believe who but I guess you will since he is a good guy but Spike like out of all the people that could have helped me tonight it was him," she sat down and looked at Willow wondering if she would make her way to the couch. "It was unbelievable Willow like the nerve of that badly bleach blonde vampire," she sighed in frustration. "He did...save my life though but only because I woke up from being dead! Give a girl a break!" This room was nice too. "Who did the decorating?" She asked curiously.
Cordelia was still not tired so she had all night to talk. "So, since I'm finally sitting down you can ask any questions but just a warning the PTB didn't really give me that much to go on," she said once again frustrated. They literally only gave her hints, it was super annoying. "Do you wanna wait for Buffy, Xander, and Angel to hear the news or should I just go on?" She asked the girl. She knew at least Angel would be out doing whatever and Buffy probably patrolling, but Xander was probably somewhere in this house so it would be two out of four people that would know. "Oh by the way could you not tell anyone I'm back yet, I kind of want to tell them myself just cause you know, it's more fun that way but then I'd get questions about it which...would be annoying," the girl was conflicted right now. She was pretty talkative for a girl who had just been dead.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow still couldn’t believe it Cordelia was here, she still seemed like her to she could tell that right off the bat. She still had that same smart ass humor that she had in high school, but Willow did know that she had grown up which was good. She knew that much from Angel hearing that she was a great help back at Angel investigations, not to mention the great powers she was given by the powers to help them. She then wondered if she still had that great power? Or if she was just same old Cordelia, which didn’t matter ether way Willow was just curious to know. “Well I’m happy you like it, we have grown to love it here.” Said the witch. Willow was worried that Cordelia was acting like she was going to live here, not that she couldn’t but right off the bat might not be the best idea. Seeing that she hasn’t even spoke to Buffy yet about it, and there not exactly that much room in this place. With Willow, Buffy, Angel, Xander, Dawn and Kathy, which was someone else that she knew was going to come to a shock to her. She never has even met sweet little Kathy, she was going to be surprised to hear that Angel even has a sister. The real question was is Kathy going to even like her, seeing that Kathy was picky about who she talked to but for good reasons. She still was in shock to hear that Cordelia kicked some vampire butt, Willow though it was cool and knew she make a great help to the gang. Not that she ever didn’t before but the fighting skills she has now will help. “ Well that’s awesome to hear that you learned all that, but I would watch it if I were you. If Xander hears you talk like that he may take you up on your offer.” She said with a laugh. She still was interested to know who it was. But it didn’t surprise her to hear who it was she had a run in with. “It seems Spike is always helping out the needed, which is something I never though I would say.” Said the witch. “ But Spike is a good guy he has done a lot In saving our butts, we owe him a lot.” She went back to the house wanting to know who decorated it, Willow couldn’t help roll her eyes sick of hearing about it. “We all kind of did, we all put a lot into this house making it our own you know.” It was true they all worked there behinds off on it, especially after he got torn all to hell from a fight that happened. But Willow was not touching on that story at all. Willow then sat down next to Cordelia, she begin to tell her that the powers didn’t give her much to go on. But really when did they ever it seems, they never like to give answers. She was right though they should wait for Buffy and the gang, but then again it might be best for Willow to know first. Seeing that who knows if Buffy is even going to be up for talking right away. Plus it was killing Willow not to know. “No we don’t need to wait for everyone else, god only knows when they will be back.” Said Willow. “And don’t worry I wont say anything, your secret Is safe with me.” Even though Willow wasn’t the best at keeping secrets, but she didn’t know if she knew that. ----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] "You could raise a family in here! You know if we weren't dealing with so much...oh well," she shrugged. The place was just astonishing and she couldn't wait to move in, or at least just stay here for a little bit. "You have that look," she said with a grin. "Don't worry I'll be out of your way as soon as I have a job. I hate having roommates...it is you guys but still the only exception is Dennis, sorry," she said turning around and facing the staircase which was extremely pretty. She had only gotten along with Dennis and plus he was a ghost so he had no clothes or anything which meant she had everything to herself. Cordelia really did need a job though so she could move out soon, the powers should have given her money.
She wondered where was hiring, maybe Angel could start paying her again, most likely not. Looked like Cordelia would have to work her charms with someone, maybe a restaurant somewhere so she could get tips, now that would be awesome. She would only do that if Angel wasn't going to go with the plan of getting money from people they saved. Cordelia never understood why Buffy didn't do that, Buffy would have been rich by now but of course it was the slayer so maybe that was some mystical rule, they couldn't retrieve money from the help. Maybe if Cordelia sold a good pitch then both Angel and Buffy would give her money, no she probably had a better chance with Angel.
Cordelia was good at fighting and she was really glad to be back in the game. It sucked when she didn't have the time to use her fighting skills considering so much had happened to her at the time. She had only been able to use it once when she was helping Angel get to Lindsey. She really wanted to train right now but now wasn't the time since she was here with Willow someone who she actually really missed. Cordelia felt bad for bullying Willow back in high school but of course that was the past and things were totally different plus Cordelia had her fair share of karma. Cordelia was now on even grounds with karma, well hopefully. "I'd be glad to kick his ass," she said with a laugh.
"But I wasn't needy! I had it under control! But yeah he definitely saved a lot of lives," she remembered that much from being up there at least. "I swear he's gotten hotter since the last time I saw him though," she shrugged erasing that out of her mind. "Oh, well doesn't matter. Vampires were so you know Buffy's thing." It was true Buffy was the one that dated vampires not Cordelia. Cordelia was done with the whole dating vampire, it was just too much with her being a human and all she didn't want someone looking prettier than her when she was her 60's.
"I guess it's time for the spiel then," she said with a sigh. She had to get into this whole thing about what she had seen. "Okay, well as I said they basically made me forget a lot because they're such jerks. Like you'd think that they would want me to remember so we'd have an advantage," she said in frustration. "Anyway, you've probably heard about this big fight coming and it's scary Willow, we need to be ready. I think there's someone or something pulling the strings with everyone coming back alive, you know the bad guys," she took a breath before she went on. "So, basically the PTB want you guys to have all the help and that's where I come in," she said very happily. "I'm back because they want me to help, mainly Angel since he is the champion and all...so are all of you I'm pretty sure."
This was the good part for Cordelia, she had been wanting to say this for a while. "I also have my visions Willow! Except no pain this time well at least I think...and I'm still human no demon in me." She was excited to be a help by having the visions. "So, back to saving lives, well at least for me." She wondered what Willow would say about the visions. "And thanks I don't need a blurter mouth like some people. Speaking of blurters is Harmony still alive," she asked curiously. She wasn't mad at Harmony and she didn't care for her but the girl was her old best friend, she wanted to know how she was doing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~She didn’t know what she was talking about they were raising a family, the gang was family to Willow. “Well in away we are raising a family here, I mean we are a family.” She said with a quick smile. She could careless about her true blood family she didn’t even talk to them anymore, but then again they weren’t the best mom and dad Willow could have ever had. They did at one point try and burn her at the stake, not really something good parents do. But not Giles, Xander or Buffy, they were always there whenever she needed them, and that was a true family. She didn’t mean to give a face and give her the wrong idea, its not that she didn’t want her here but she didn’t know if it was her place to let her stay. “Ok first off I don’t know who Dennis is, second I never said you couldn’t, and third I cant say yes for sure until we ask Buffy. I mean its only fair it was her idea to come out her in the first place, and she got the house so best we ask her. But I’m sure she wont mind.” Said Willow. She couldn’t help but keep thinking about how it was going to be when they first saw each other. She knew that Buffy wasn’t the happiest to find out she be working with Angel back in L.A., plus she was always so hard on Buffy back in school. Which didn’t really make them BFF’s She seemed happy to see Spike which was shocking, maybe she really had changed? Last she checked she wasn’t a fan, but now it seemed like she didn’t mind him at all. She was even talking about how handsome he had gotten, which in away was kind of grossing Willow out. “ Well I don’t know about the hotter part seeing that I am gay now, and as for Buffy she may not be the only one into dating vamps.” It was true Willow had met a girl who was a vampire that she really liked, she just didn’t know if she felt the same way yet for Willow? She really hoped so seeing that she did look like the girl of her dreams. She sat there listening waiting to see why the Powers that Be brought her back, and from what she was hearing it didn’t sound good. She begin to say something about a big fight that was coming, acting like Willow knew what she was talking about. Which she didn’t? the only big fight that Willow knows of is Glory. “ Wait what big fight are you talking about? What is coming?” The witch asked in a worried like tone. “Well other then that I’m happy you are here we could use the help, things have been really crazy here lately.” Willow was happy to hear that she still had her visions that really could come in handy for them, seeing what could happen before it does. Might even safe more lives that way. “Well that’s good to hear and not being a demon thing is good to, so you don’t get any pain from them anymore. How did that happen? Said Willow. She then wanted to know how Harmony had been, someone that Willow has never really been a fan for. But the truth was she had no idea where she was or how she been, she doesn’t even know if Spike knows anything about her anymore. “I’m not sure how she is or if she is dead, last I checked she was alive. Maybe ask Spike or Angel?” Word Count-610 Tagged- Outfit- Click To See Willow's OutfitNote-Love this thread ~~~~~~~~~~~

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] "Makes sense, you guys have been through like everything together." Cordelia understood how Willow, Buffy, Xander and so on were a family since that group had survived high school together and survived the hellmouth as well which is a major deal. She also understood because that was exactly how she felt about her and Angel, the two were family and looked after each other. She missed being there for him and being that best friend he needed. She also missed giving advice to Fred but hey, now she could give advice to Angel about Buffy which was going to be great. She still didn't understand the two's relationship but she did understand they were in love and believe it or not but she did want them to be together considering the stuff they had been through.
Cordelia was so ready to go on this big major talk about Dennis, he was her favourite ghost...well he was her only ghost but still! "Dennis was my roommate! He lived with me but he was a ghost, he was super good with the loofah," she said kind of laughing. "I dunno Willow, I mean doesn't she know that me and Angel had a thing back then? I mean that cannot be sitting well with her and if it isn't me and her will have to have a little talk," Cordelia was nothing but honest, maybe too honest but honesty was the best policy. As she said to Doyle who she missed still I think it I say it. She would have it no other way, if Buffy had a problem with her then it could clearly be fixed or the two just didn't have to talk much.
Cordelia only had hated Spike because he was the bad guy and then there was that time where he tried to bite her which wasn't a fun time at all. Now, there was no reason to hate him he was just really annoying at some points. "You can still appreciate a guy! By the way how is that gay thing goin' for ya?" She said very excitedly wondering if Willow has met anyone, her question in her head was answered immediately. "You? Into vampires? Now that is definitely new. Spill," she said with a smile on her face. She wanted to know who Willow's new lover was, maybe it was someone she knew but then again Cordelia had just been brought back so she probably didn't know the person. God, what if she was going to be in a house with all couples, now that would be highly annoying.
Cordelia should have known that question was going to be asked but she didn't have all the answers of course, she didn't know that much. "I really don't know. There's this missing hole in me and I can't remember, like as if it was put there on purpose or something. It's worse than what we've faced I believe, Like the powers are obviously bringing the good guys back but whose bringing the bad guys back? That's who we need to worry about because they have a big part in the battle...that's all I really know." She wished she knew more, but of course it wasn't possible. "Really? Well, I did notice a few things while I was up there...like Angel turning into Angelus. Angelus is such an ass actually." She was glad that Angel was himself even though that had happened a long time ago it was still fresh in her brain.
"Yep! And the for real powers helped me out not the frigging fake ones. But yeah they did some kind of protection thingy where I feel no pain and I won't die from them, apparently I'm needed for whatever is coming, yay for maybe dying again! That's always so much fun," she said sarcastically. "I'm just glad I could be back to help," she said honestly. She would go out with a bang not like last time where she was possessed by Jasmine, now that was truly annoying. She still couldn't believe that she had sex with Connor, that was just wow. If only she could have that erased from her memory forever, that was like her nephew right there!
There was always that part of Cordelia that would care for Harmony in some twisted way considering the two were best friends in high school although they did back-stab each other a lot. "Okay, I'll ask one of the two if I ever see one of them," she said sighing a little bit. "Are you the only one in the house?" She asked curiously wondering where everyone was at. Weren't there potentials in this house as well?

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She groaned as she walked up the walk from where she had parked her car. She really needed to go back to living at her apartment. Sure it was smaller and sometimes a bit lonely but all the commotion that went on at the boarding house was severely affecting not only her mood but her sleep schedule as well. She was used to going on little sleep from her days of patrolling and then getting up and going to school, yet this was different. It seemed as if in the last week she had gotten only about an hour or two a night and she was fried, both physically and mentally.
Today had been casual day at work which made her happy since she didn’t have to bother changing before patrol. Granted she had to go home either way so it didn’t really matter but there was a slight chance that she would be able to fall into bed for an hour or so before patrol. Granted it was a very minute chance but one that she would do the best she could to make sure that it happened. Her eyes were half closed as she walked but she wrenched them open, trying as best as she could not to show how incredibly tired she was.
Stopping mid stride she looked down, realizing that she had forgotten her phone in the car. Turning around she headed back to her car, unlocking it and reaching in to grab her phone. Looking down it was no surprise to her that she had a text message, this time though it was from someone at work asking her if she’d mind driving her on Monday since her car was in the shop. She quickly replied back to Shelly letting her know she would pick her up on Monday before closing the door and locking it.
Catching a look of herself in the glossy black paint of her car she shook her head. She looked exhausted. Her outfit was fine since she was currently wearing a pair of dark wash skinny jeans, a long gray cowled neck sweater that she had a feeling on most people would be a sweater though on her it looked more like a sweater dress but it was still really cute. She had a pair of gray boots that she had only worn one other time that matched perfectly and that was what she paired with the sweater and jeans. Of course within her left boot she had a stake as she always did. Around her neck hung her cross that Angel had given her when she was sixteen and on her ring finger sat her claddagh ring that he had just recently given back to her.
Her hair hung around her shoulders and back in curls. She fingered it lightly, briefly wondering if she should get it cut or not. However it wasn't her clothing or her hair that showed her exhaustion, it wasn't even her face since she had hidden her dark circles with makeup which still somehow she had been able to make look natural. No, it was her eyes. Her eyes which were bloodshot and just looked out of it. Luckily not many people looked her directly in the eyes since most people were so much taller than her but still, it was obvious if one looked in her eyes.
Giving up staring at her reflection she headed back in the house and saw Willow's red hair before really realizing anything else. "Hey Wills...I'm going to go upstairs and take a...." was all that she got out before she trailed off, her tired eyes taking in who else was in the room. "Cordelia?" She asked, thinking somehow that her eyes were playing tricks on her. Maybe she really was more tired than she had realized.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow though it was a bit odd and strange to hear that she had been living with a ghost, but to each its own she guessed. What she was telling Willow was a bit of a shock to her she had no idea, but if she was telling the truth and that really did happen then yes Buffy would be mad. “Wait you and Angel had a thing.” She said trying not to laugh. “I’m sorry Cordelia I just cant see you and Angel having anything at all. But yeah you are right if you are telling any bit of the truth what so ever Buffy will be pissed, because I can guarantee you he has told her.” It was true Buffy all ready had to know about it, one thing about them that made there relationship genuine was they were truthful with one another. It was something that Willow always admirer about there relationship, which was also what made it so strong. She though it was funny how Cordelia was acting like being gay was just a fling, or something she was just trying out. “The gay thing is working just fine for me thank you, I actually have been gay now for quite sometime now.” She could tell that Cordelia was a little in shock to hear that she was into Vampires now as well. It wasn’t like she chose this it just sort of happened. Plus really the only vampire that she is into really is Lenore. There is just something about her that drives Willow wild, and the fact that she looks like Tara could have a lot to do with that. “Well this new girl I met is really awesome, sweet, funny, kind, and gentle. I really like her and think everyone else will to.” Said Willow with a smile. “She is yet to meet everyone.”She couldn’t help but laugh when she called Angelus an ass, it was sad that even she knew how he gets. “Well I’m sorry that the Power did all that, but we are all grateful that they brought you back to us.” Said Willow. “So when you were up there you could see Angel like that. What else did you see up there, I mean do you get to watch like everything from up there or what?” It was like Cordelia got to be an Angel in some way, watching from her own little heaven. Something that she knew Cordelia had to have loved. “Well they made a good decision bring you back to us, lord knows we need all the help we can get” All the sudden someone begin to make there way through the boarding house door, Willow quickly looked over to see who is was. She looked to find Buffy making her way into the house, she knew right then she wasn’t going to be happy. “Hey Buffy look who is here.” She said hoping she wasn’t going to flip her lid. “The powers that be brought her back to us.” She sat there waiting to see how she was going to react hoping it wasn’t going to get to ugly, but she knew no matter what she was going to be. ----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] God, she missed Dennis so much, maybe she would pay him a visit at some point. She owed him that much at least, in all honestly the ghost was like a best friend who just couldn't talk which was awesome because she got to do all the talking. She wondered if he let anyone live in that house, she'd find out at some point so she wouldn't worry about it right now. "Um, is that so hard to imagine?" She said with a frown. How dare Willow laugh at her. "Don't even answer. But yeah we did so don't make fun! Just goes to show I can get any guy even the unattainable," she said very confidently. "He has, so whatever. She shouldn't even be pissed he was on the market...so tough toots," she said shrugging it off.
"Well, yeah you've been out for like ever. So, does that mean you didn't truly love Oz or something? Since you're gay and all. Good for you for accepting who you are I never got to say that back in L.A.." In a way she still couldn't believe Willow was gay, she had always seen Willow loving Xander and of course kissing Xander.
She was happy for Willow though, she deserved to be who she was. "Oh my god does she brood like Angel? And I can't wait to meet her then," she said with a smile. She wanted to know who Willow was into personality wise. Willow was always into the kind of people who didn't say much besides Xander now he talked a whole shit load. So, maybe Willow didn't have a set personality on a girl. God, everyone was dating it was weird.
Cordelia was happy to be back, she loved being back on earth having another chance at life considering her own life was taken without consent. "Yeah...I'm glad to be back," she said with a smile. "Yeah, it definitely...wasn't a pretty sight now that I wish I could forget," she said with a little giggle. She knew it all, what had happened when he turned and how he got his soul back, never getting that picture out of her head since she was scarred from it. "Well, I couldn't see like the whole world if that's what you're asking I just got to see the people I cared about. I've seen your battles, your pain which wasn't fun. I also got to see you meet some hot guys but I don't remember their names," they were hunters or something, that's all she could remember. "But I did miss a few things you know the not so major stuff. Most of it was just watching Angel though," since he was the person she had cared about the most she got to watch most of his actions. "Oh my god I was an Angel wasn't I? It's like I've done it all now," she said pretty happily.
"Let the awkwardness begin," she mumbled under her breath. "Hey, Buffy!" She didn't want this to be awkward at all, Buffy better not be pissed off at her the girl was dead for crying out loud. "Yep, I'm back and better than ever! Well, getting better I had trouble with a few vamps but whatever not a major deal," she said relaxing her legs a little by stretching them. "The powers brought me back at a cemetery just in case you were wondering." She wasn't sure how this conversation would go but she really didn't want a fight in the middle of the night, it wouldn't be a good time plus her bitch would come out and no one wanted that of course.
- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She didn’t even know what to say. She just stood there and stared at the brunette woman sitting in front of her. Okay, so a part of her wanted to rage against anything and everything that she could think of while the other part wanted to run away like a scared little girl. She had no desire to deal with any of this today. It had been a long day to begin with and adding on the fact that now Cordelia Chase was sitting in her living room was just the damn icing on the top of the cake. At that moment she was more than grateful that Angel was out of town disposing of Glory’s body.
She felt ungodly selfish for her last thought because she knew that Angel and Cordelia had been friends. The friendship wasn’t what bothered her, it was the fact that they had feelings for one another that made her want to punch a hole through the wall. She had been envious of Cordelia from the day she walked into Sunnydale High School and saw that she had everything that Buffy herself had at one time, before being the slayer took it all away from her.
Hearing Willow’s statement she looked up, having not realized that she had been staring at the back wall directly behind Cordelia’s head. “Yeah, I…uh…I see that.” She told her, setting her bag down on the bookshelf that was against the stairwell before simply standing there, not wanting to interrupt their conversation nor did she want to make herself comfortable. There was no comfort in the fact that Cordelia was sitting in her living room however she also knew damn well that she had to keep her mouth shut. She knew that Angel would not be pleased should she turn his best friend away, especially since she wouldn’t allow him to turn Spike away.
She understood that the situations were very similar, almost scarily similar, but that didn’t stop the feelings of anger and jealousy that rose up inside her from trying to take over her rational judgment. “The Powers that Be seem to be bringing back a lot of formerly dead people recently, any ideas on why?” She asked, trying not to sound bitter but knowing that she didn’t sound as convincing as she had hoped. She didn’t want to start a fight and she didn’t want to come off petty but she couldn’t help the way that she felt. Maybe it really was time to start forcing her emotions back down like she had before. It seemed to be easier than dealing with them head on.
Hearing that she was brought back in a cemetery caused her to start however she could see from the flush of her cheeks that she was not a vampire, also the fact that the sun had barely begun to set and it seemed as if she had been there for awhile and there was no ring on her finger signaling that she did not have a daylight ring. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes briefly as if trying to gather strength before opening them once more, this time plastering on a smile that was not fake but not sincere either. “It’s good to have you back. I’m glad you’re okay.” She stated before digging her cell phone out of her bag and shooting Xander and Giles a text message letting them know that the boarding house had a visitor and to come by whenever they wanted. “So how did you know that we were here?” She asked, promising death and destruction to anyone who gave her that information without talking to her first…and this wasn’t just because it was Cordelia. It was because it could have been anyone who wanted to harm the potentials or anyone else, and that was a definite no no in her book.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It was hard to imagine she just couldn’t see Angel with Cordelia. All though Willow couldn’t see him with anyone but Buffy. They were just that perfect ever lasting love that everyone wants to have, and that’s what you saw and felt when you were around them. You could tell that Angel really cared and loved Buffy just by the way he treated her. So to hear that he had a thing with someone like Cordelia of all people just seemed like a joke. Not that there was anything wrong with her, she had her moments when she could be a really sweet yet caring Person sometimes. Willow saw that in more ways then one. “ Look I’m Sorry I’m not trying to make fun here, its just I couldn’t see you to with each other you know. ” She told her. “Don’t worry I didn’t say you couldn’t get any guy you wanted, trust me I know you can I saw that in school You didn’t seem to have any trouble. I just didn’t know Angel liked you at all like that really.” Willow then stopping knowing this was not going to go anywhere, or sound very nice for that matter. Willow couldn’t wait for Lenore to meet the rest of her friends, it will be kind of neat to have another vampire into the mix. “No!” Willow said laughing. “No they are not my type, no she acts like a girly girl which is what I like. She has such beautiful dark hair and brown eyes, there is just something about her that makes me smile and feel safe.” Willow knew why but she wasn’t going to tell Cordelia the reason, she didn’t even know who Tara was anyway so it really it wouldn’t matter. But She knew the rest of the group were going to feel very different. It sounded like Cordelia had seen a lot more up there then she had realized, all though Willow wasn’t to sure to who she was talking about. Willow didn’t recall any hot guys, but then again she not really into guys. “Wow it seems like you have seen a lot that has gone on then, yeah you kind of were an Angel in away.” She told her. “I don’t know about the doing it all part, did you go crazy, lose it, and almost try to kill all your friends?” Willow knew this was going to get Awkward, but that’s because Cordelia wasn’t helping the situation by all ready mumbling under her breath. Willow could tell all ready that she was kind of in shock to see Cordelia, all though she did get done dealing with Glory not really the time nor place. Willow wished she knew why the powers were bring so many people back from the dead, it did all seem so crazy like no one could stay dead anymore even if they wanted to. “ My guess Buffy is they have a reason for bringing all these people back, I’m sure some how in the end it will benefit to them. We should make sure we keep are eyes open, because anyone could just come back.” It was true they needed to keep a close watch, last thing they needed was someone they didn’t want back. She had heard her ask Cordelia how she had found her way here, almost like in away she was worried that they couldn’t trust her. But with there luck she couldn’t blame the Slayer for asking. “Buffy I think Spike might have told her, hopefully he don’t just give that info out to anyone. He is smarter then that right?” She asked her with a smile. Word Count-615 Tagged- Outfit- Click To See Willow's OutfitNote-Love this thread ~~~~~~~~~~~

----------------------- [/b] -----------------------[/b] Cordelia really didn't understand why Willow couldn't see her and Angel together, okay maybe high school Cordelia and Angel would be an impossible but the Cordelia who was nicer had a chance and apparently Willow just couldn't imagine that but whatever she was over it, it wasn't like she liked him anymore anyway so she was okay. "Whatever," she said with a roll of her eyes. They were obviously not getting anywhere with this topic. "Yeah, those were the days of popularity," she said with a sigh. "To be honest I'm surprised that Angel and I had a thing it's weird to think about but that thing is obviously long gone now." She wanted to make sure Willow knew that Cordelia didn't have a thing for him at all.
Cordelia had laughed with Willow. She actually felt bad for picking on Willow all those years ago, god what a major bitch she was. "Awe! God! I can't wait to meet her!" She clapped excitedly. It'd be nice to meet Willow's girlfriend. "As for me no dating because I need to enjoy the single life since I've been brought back, but I'll most definitely have some fun," she said with a smile. She'd go dancing and meet people but she wasn't looking for anything serious, at least not now or maybe ever since she didn't know if the powers would send her back once her mission was done.
Cordelia lightly laughed. "No, but I've been possessed so that counts for something. Let me tell you it totally wasn't fun." God that was the second time she got pregnant, she was tired of demons putting babies in her if the eye thing counted as a pregnancy then that'd be three pregnancies, no more pregnancies for Cordelia Chase unless the baby is human and is created by her and a guy she loves, that was final.
Buffy didn't seem to happy to see Cordelia which was understandable but Buffy seriously needed to get over it like Angel was single and she was being so hypocritical. Cordy knew about the guys she dated including one who was highly annoying which was Spike. Why the blonde was so angry, Cordelia had absolutely no idea. "What Willow said. The PTB are doing it for some big fight but I'm not sure when that fight is so until then I guess I'm just here to help and train." Could this conversation be anymore awkward? She really just wanted it to end even though she did want to have a clean slate with Buffy, the two were never the best of friends.
"I knew what the house looked like but...yeah I had help from Spike. He asked me if I was evil and I was like no...why would the powers drop me off at a cemetery? He can be such an idiot," she shrugged after. "I mean if I was evil I could have totally killed Willow before you walked in here! But anyway yeah I'm here but I won't be staying long," she knew Buffy would be happy about that. "Can we skip this whole awkwardness? I mean me and Angel had a thing that was obviously a long time ago and for the record we didn't even date. All we did was share a kiss but I was basically a ghost so even then it was barely anything," she definitely needed to get that off her chest. "And didn't you like have two boyfriends after you and Angel broke up? So, how about you get over it and I won't bring up that kiss ever again." She just wanted the awkwardness to go away so the only way to get rid of it was by facing the problem.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She nodded at Willow, smiling a small smile as it was obvious her best friend was trying to make light of things as to not have a fight start out. Little did the red headed witch know that she had no intention in starting a fight. Maybe a few years ago she would have stormed out after screaming at Cordelia to stay away and not make trouble but that wasn’t her anymore. She had grown up…hell she really couldn’t even say that she would have done the former since she had moved to Sunnydale. Sure she was protective of those that she loved but that didn’t mean she would act like a selfish brat…no matter what certain people claimed that she was.
“I’m assuming so. I heard from Dean that they’ve seen a couple weird occurrences recently too so who knows.” She told her with a shrug. “I’ll ask Elena next time I talk to her if they’ve seen anything weird. I would ask Damon but it seems as if he’s the type to fly off the handle without even thinking things through and I really don’t want to have to hurt him.” She stated with a laugh, knowing that Willow nor Cordelia knew who Damon was but if they did they most likely would agree with her.
Nodding at Cordelia’s next statement she thought for a moment before speaking. “Makes sense. We’ve had a couple different instances where it’s been clear some big fight is on the horizon yet when and where I don’t know. However it’ll be nice to have you around since not only do you know your way around a sword and a stake, always two helpful skills to have, but you also can hopefully give us a heads up on what’s going on. I’m assuming the Powers let you keep your visions?” She asked, remembering Angel telling her about them the last time they had discussed Cordelia.
Hearing that Spike told Cordelia she nodded. “That makes sense. Didn’t even occur to me. Sorry.” She told the taller woman. “And as for Spike telling everyone, I doubt that he would do that. He knew that he could trust Cordelia with the information which is the only reason he gave it. I’m not worried about it. You know that I trust Spike. Besides, I also know I can kick his ass should he do something to piss me off.” She stated with a laugh, though it was still a bit forced. “And yes, Spike can be an idiot. Then again most men can be idiots.” She told the two women with a laugh.
“You know you are welcome to stay here Cordelia. Trust me when I say there is plenty of room. Three of the girls are leaving for Rome tomorrow so those bedrooms will be open. Plus I’m heading to stay at my apartment so my room will be available too.” She told her with a shrug. “However it’s your choice if you want to stay here or not.”
The next statement out of the brunette’s mouth forced her heckles to raise but she kept her calm. Quirking a blonde eyebrow she challenged her with her eyes. “For one thing, the fact that you assumed that Angel had told me tells me one of two things, it says either A.) You are trying to start unnecessary drama or B.) You know that we don’t keep secrets from us. I’m hoping it’s the latter but then again I haven’t seen you in five years so I don’t know. As for the whole awkwardness thing you need to listen because I will only say this once. Angel and I have discussed your kiss to death and I do not want to discuss it anymore. You are one of Angel’s best friends and that’s fine. Do I like the fact that you kissed him? No. Do I deal with it? Yes. I was not in his life and I cannot say a word about it.” She told her, her voice an eerie calm.
"As for the awkwardness that you speak off...it isn't just there because you kissed Angel, though I'll admit it is part of it since I wasn't expecting to have to deal with it face to face. However you and I were never really close Cordelia. So yes, we can skip the small talk but other than that I'm really not sure what you want me to say and do since we haven't seen each other in years. May I remind you that you never truly liked me, in fact you once wished for a Buffy free Sunnydale in order to get rid of me. Now granted I don't hold that against you because there are times I wished for the same thing but let's be reasonable. You say that I'm holding a grudge against you for kissing Angel? I'm not. As for my other boyfriends after Angel...that's mine and his business, none of yours. So you stay out of my relationship and we will be fine. Please remember this though, I am not the same eighteen year old that you tried to intimidate and I can guarantee you it will not work here and now." She told her, hoping that she had got her point across.
“I do not want to argue with you nor do I want things to be tense because all that does is put people that we both care about in a bad place and I’m not okay with that. However I will not scream and dance and hug because we were never those people. Maybe we will get along better now than we did in high school, maybe worse, or maybe the same. I don’t know. However what happens happens…I don’t expect anything from you.” She told her before letting her arms that had unconsciously moved to cross over her chest back to her sides.
