- - - - - - - - - - -She groaned when she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She didn’t want to look at it because she knew whatever it was couldn’t be good. She had told Elena and Jeremy both of whom other than Damon and Stefan himself were the only others who knew that she was even around at the moment that she had plans tonight so it could only be Elena or Jeremy if something was wrong or Damon causing trouble, none of which she really wanted at the moment. Especially Damon causing trouble since if he started anything else she might kick his ass…not that it wouldn’t be highly entertaining for her but that was besides the point.
Pulling out her phone she looked down and saw a text message from Elena. All it said was that she was worried because Jeremy hadn’t gotten home yet since he had been out looking for Matt. She knew that realistically she knew that she could ignore it and Elena would never know but she also didn’t want anything to happen to Jeremy should he be in trouble. She had made Elena promise to keep her skinny ass inside tonight since Damon was god knows where, and she and Stefan were busy with Lenore which meant that if anything happened she wouldn’t know about it. She of course couldn’t force it but Elena had told her that she was planning on catching up on homework tonight so she promised to stay inside.
“Look I’m sorry to cut this meeting short but Elena just text messaged me. Jeremy isn’t home yet and he was supposed to be home hours ago. He’s out looking for Matt and she’s afraid Klaus got wind. So we gotta go. Me to find Jeremy and you to go calm down your girlfriend. Lenore can we get together soon?” She asked before hugging her friend, pulling on Stefan’s arm and running, not giving him a chance to argue.
Once they were at the Gilbert house she patted his butt to give him the extra boost that he needed. “Go calm her down, tell her I’ll be back later when I know something. Only reason we’re not doing this in reverse order is because Klaus doesn’t need to know you’re poking around where you shouldn’t be. So I’ll go, be back as soon as I can.” She told him kissing him on the cheek before speeding off to go find Jeremy and kick his lily white ass.
