~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow was sitting in the woods working on a spell, she had been working on this spell for a while. It was called a multi lamentation spell. Still trying to get it just right, she was missing something she just didn’t know what it was yet. She knew though in due time she would get it, she always does eventually. Why couldn’t Tara be here she would know what to do, she was so good a little spells like this. If it wasn’t for her she wouldn’t be as good as she is now. So she relax focusing on what she was doing concentrating really hard, taking in deep breaths listing to herself breathing in. Along with the sounds of trees in the air, hearing the wind pass threw them. The sound was so sweet so relaxing, she really had needed this. There had been so much craziness going on lately with the gang and all, she really had not had a moment just to relax and work on her magic. What she was working on right now was one of those spells that were great for that. She just needed to get it going. Willow sat there on the ground in the woods still, with her eyes closed and legs closed sitting Indian style. She called out the spell ever so softly almost sounding like a whispers while putting up her arms. Still calling it out till the spell worked, she was going to quit till it worked. She continued in till finally she could see something slowly start to light up, as she went on it was working till finally all the flowers and things in the forest were lighting up. It looked like a bunch of Fairies had taken over the woods, it was so beautiful she just wished she could share this moment with Tara. Then all the sudden Willow lost focus when she heard a sound, She then begin to wonder what was out there in this dark forest. But she wasn’t sacred whatever it was she was going to be ready. “Hello is someone out there, if so you better come out. I’m not really in the mood to be snuck up on!” Willow said yelling out, hoping they would show there face. Word Count- 380 Tagged- OPEN Outfit- Click To See Willow's OutfitNote- ~~~~~~~~~~~
Lenore stalked through the woods silently and determindly. She could smell her prey close by. Her eyes darkened with hunger as she followed the sounds that it made. From the smell and sound of it, she was hunting a buck. Deer blood---especially bucks---were the one animal that actually didn't taste all that bad, though of course it didn't taste nearly as sweet as human blood. But she no desire to feed from a human. This town looked a bit interesting and she might want to stay awhile, which she wouldn't be able to do if she preyed upon the populous. Speaking of the populous, there was someone else here. From what she was hearing, it was a witch trying to get a spell right. Well, if she doesn't bother me, I won't bother her, the vampire thought. She then tuned the witch out and refocused on her quarry.
As the buck continued through the forest, the vampire could feel her fangs itching to release themselves but she held them back. She didn't need to be wearing the face of a monster while she hunted it. As soon as she had her target in sight, she raced towards the animal, finally releasing her fangs as she pounced on it. She sank her teeth into the buck's jungular, draining it quickly. Hey, jsut because she was feeding, it didn't mean she couldn't be humane about it. Humane. Interesting choice of words.
Suddenly, a voice broke her concentration and she pulled away from her meal. Her eyes darkened as a female voice called out saying that she wasn't in the mood to be snuck up on. It was the witch she had heard! Dang it! I'm trying to eat here! Lenore fumed. She hadn't bothered the other girl and she had thought she had been relatively silent in her take down, but apparently not. Well I better show myself so she doesn't think I'm a threat she reasoned. Reluctantly, she pulled away from her meal and then stepped out of the clearing. "I mean you no harm," she told her, her hands up where the witch could see them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow didn’t know what was out there but she was ready, they weren’t going to make a move on her. In this town only god knows what it could be out there, she just hopes that it isn’t a werewolf or something she really wasn’t in the mood. Plus its not everyday she brings the tranq gun with her. She stood there still waiting for them to come out but so far nothing, it was so dark past the trees it was hard to see anything really. Which was why Willow picked this spot to do magic it was the best to see your spells, and it was quite away from the town. A girl begin to walk up holding up her hands, showing Willow that she was unarmed. She could tell that it wasn’t the girls intentions to hurt her but she still didn’t trust her just yet, by her presence she could tell that she wasn’t human. Which meant this all could be act for a snack, which was why she was playing it cool. “Sorry I just didn’t know what was going on, for all I know you could have been a monster or something. Anything could be out here in these woods you know. So are you ok what are you doing out here all alone?” Willow asked the girl Willow then begin to walk closer to get a better look, it was hard to make out what she looked like from where she was standing. She inched closer holding her spell book close to her, Willow didn’t need to go losing it in this dark forest. Other wise she be here looking all night. When she got closer to her she could get a better look at what she looked like, and when she did the witch was in shock. Enough that she dropped the book from her hands, letting it fall to the ground. The girl for some reason was a striking resemblance to Tara, if she didn’t know any better she say it was her. But sadly Willow knew that it wasn’t just by being around her, Tara had this strong aura that she could feel from a mile away. She knew that the girl had to wonder what was wrong with her, just by the way she was staring at her. “I’m sorry that I’m staring its just you look like someone I know, and that person I know is gone….” she said sill sounding in shock. ----------------------- ----------------------- Hands still raised, Lenore saw the woman staring at her intently but kept quiet as she apologized, saying that she didn't know what was going on and that Lenore could have been a monster for all she knew. Which you know, was a pretty valid point. Lenore could've been a werewolf, a shapeshifter, or hey, even a vampire. Speaking of being a vampire, her throat was still aching from her interrupted dinner. Okay, Lenore. Keep your cool and make sure you don't hurt her she coached herself. She could finish her meal later. Right now, she had to focus on keeping this woman calm and not getting herself staked. "I completely understand. One can never be too careful," Lenore said, nodding in agreement as she stared at the spell book. Smart girl, she approved. The witch was right: anything could out here and she was right to be suspicious. Only an idiot would instantly trust someone that they had just met. "Uh, can I put my hands down now?" she asked. Not that her arms were getting tired, she just didn't want to make any sudden moves in case this witch was powerful enough to fry her from the inside out. Then again, if she was a novice, who knows what could happen if she decided to cast a spell? Either way, it wouldn't be pretty for her, therefore, staying put until otherwise allowed was the best option for her.
The woman came closer, obviously trying to figure out who she was, and while Lenore didn't know what her reaction would be, she certainly wasn't expecting the other woman to gasp and drop her spell book. "Are you all right?" Lenore asked. She looks like she's seen a ghost, she thought to herself. But why? Then her eyes clouded in sympathy as the other spoke again, apologizing and saying that the vampire looked like someone she had once known but was now gone. "I'm sorry for your loss," she murmured. Obviously the woman the witch had lost had meant a great deal to her and she was probably still grieving her. That had to be hard for her and Lenore could certainly sympathize. Despite the fact that she had been around for three hundred years, it still hurt when she lost someone close to her, though she tried to deal with it as best as she could, which sometimes wasn't all that well.
Her gaze dropped to the spell book. "What kind of spell were you working on?" she wondered. If she could keep the other woman talking, she'd see that she wasn't a threat and maybe she could learn who in town she should stay away from. Plus, if she knew what type of spell she had been attempting, she'd be able to gauge how powerful the witch was. And when it came to survival, knowledge was power. "Maybe I can help you. I mean, I'm not too versed, but perhaps I could read while you perform the steps," she offered. That at least would hopefully show her that she wasn't a threat and that she had no intention of harming her. Besides, as the saying went two heads were better than one. Maybe together they could figure out what the girl had been missing from the spell. And after that she'd go back to the buck and finish feeding...as long as something else hadn't gotten it first. Man, was her throat on fire! -----------------------

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow was still in shock and really didn’t know what to say, this girl was a splitting image of Tara. In away Willow felt safer then she had been in a long while, a part of her just wanted to run up and hold this girl. But she knew that she couldn’t do that, one because she would think she was weird, and two because Willow was afraid she wouldn’t be able to stop crying. She missed Tara so much and would do anything to have her back, which is why she was kind of worried she was seeing things. How is it even possible for this girl to look just like her, it wasn’t it had to be some sort of trick. “I’m sorry you can put your hands down I’m not going to hurt you, you just startled me that’s all. Are you ok its kind of late to be out here all alone, not safe you know.” Willow asked the girl. She did wondered what she was doing out here alone this late. It did seem strange that she was just walking alone in the dark woods, which made Willow really wonder if she was seeing a ghost? The witch still couldn’t help but be in a bit of shock as she talked to the girl, it was so strange talking to someone that looked just like the love of her life. In away she even sounded like her, moved like her, acted like her. The girl had asked Willow if she was all right, but really she didn’t know how to even start to answer that. “Yeah I’m ok sorry, its just wow you really look like Tara. I mean you look someone I know.” She said in a nervous like tone. She could tell that the girl really didn’t mean to upset her, which made Willow feel even worse about telling her about what was wrong. Last thing she wanted was to make her uncomfortable. “It ok she was my girlfriend who I love more then anything. So you can understand why looking at you is so strange for me.” Said Willow. She noticed the girl taking interest in to the magic book she was holding. It made Willow wonder if she was into magic, another trait that she had just like Tara. Now this really was starting to get strange. “Well I’m working on a illumination spell right now, I think I got it down its just a little tricky. Are you into magic too?” She asked the girl while handing the book to her, letting her check out some of the spells. Word Count- 440 Tagged- OPEN Outfit- Click To See Willow's OutfitNote- ~~~~~~~~~~~
----------------------- ----------------------- Lenore watched the woman as she seemed to struggle with something and the vampire's eyes furrowed. Then, the other woman apologized and said that she could put her hands down, which the vampire did. Then to Lenore's surprise, she asked if she was okay and went on to say that it was late to be out and it wasn't safe to be alone. Lenore had to fight back a smirk. Well, she couldn't really argue with that. She did have a tendency to come across as the perfect victim at times, through no fault of her own. "I'm fine. I was just enjoying the night as I was walking home. It's so beautiful tonight," she commented as she tried to quelch the ache in her throat. "And what about you? Do you often practice magic by yourself?" she countered. Not that a witch necessarily needed a body guard, but as the woman had pointed out, it wasn't safe for one to be out here all alone.
The woman then continued on saying that she looked like someone she knew---someone named Tara---and it was weird. Which Lenore could totally understand. If she had come across someone who looked like a person she had loved, she'd be a bit unnerved too. Tar's a pretty name, she thought to herself, though she didn't say this out loud. After all, she didn't want to seem insensitive.
At her question, Lenore shook her head. "I'm knowledgeable about magic, but I don't make a habit of using it," she replied, as she thumbed through the book. Okay, illumination spell, she thought to herself. "So, what are you looking to illuminate?" she wondered. -----------------------
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~She was right it was a nice night to be going for a walk, Willow was sure that if Tara was still around they would be out for a walk. Enjoying the night sky looking at the moon and stars, it was something they did all the time with each other. It really does get lonely talking walks on your own, which is something Willow does now by herself. “Yeah I will give you that it really is a nice night, you just have to be careful You never can be to sure what is out there. Trust me I have seen some of what is out there and you don’t want to know what I have seen. The world can be a scary place. “She explanted. “But don’t worry about being alone because I’m here to walk with you.” Willow said with a smile. Willow did practice Magic a lot on her own, even though she really wish she had someone to share it with. Her and Tara use to practice magic all the time together, they really were stronger with there spells when they were one. Magic hasn’t felt the same for Willow since she has lost her girl. “ Yeah I do magic a lot on my own, I mean I know some others that practice it. But I’m mostly work alone since I lost my girlfriend.” She said looking down for a moment, thinking of Tara. As she took the book from her and Willow had notice something, she couldn’t believe that she didn’t feel it before. How could she had missed this? But it did proved for sure there was no way she could be Tara. Lenore was in fact a vampire she could feel it now, which made her wonder even more to why she was out there. She had to play it cool not letting her know she knew right away. She really didn’t want to scare her off just yet, she had to know more about her “Well I was looking to try and light up the whole forest, you know if you are lost and you want to light up your way.” She said with a smile. “Before you showed up I had all these flowers lit up, it really was beautiful.” Word Count- 380 0099CC Tagged- OPEN Outfit- Click To See Willow's OutfitNote- ~~~~~~~~~~~

----------------------- ----------------------- Lenore nodded as the woman agreed with her, saying that it was a nice night and that you had to be careful about what was out there, mentioning that she had seen the things that were out there and that she wouldn't want to know about the things that she had seen, and that the world could be pretty scary. Well, she is a witch and witches are usually sought after for spells and things, she mused. So of course it would make sense for a witch to be cautious, especially around vampires, who weren't exactly known for their fair treatment of witches. "Something tells me that people think twice about messing with someone like you," she said out loud. And it wsa true. It was never a good idea to tick off a witch. She had seen the results of that on another vampire and it hadn't been pretty. Then the other woman smiled saying that she didn't have to worry about being alone since she was there to walk with her, causing Lenore to smile at her gratefully. She sounds a bit lonely, she mused to herself.
In answer to her question, the woman confirmed that she did magic a lot and that she mostly did it on her own since her girlfriend had died even though she knew some others that practiced. "That makes sense," she responded. If she had been practicing with a loved one and then that loved one died, she wouldn't really want to practice with anyone else either. She frowned thoughtfully when the other woman explained that she was trying to light up the forest in case someone got lost and that she had managed to light up some flowers which had been really pretty. "That sounds like a useful spell," Lenore commented. And it did though she could also see it backfiring by allowing predators to see a victim. But maybe she should mention that after the witch had the spell down. she declared.[/blockquote] -----------------------

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Yeah it was the truth people did think twice when it came to messing with a witch, but at the same time Willow wasn’t one to scare people. She really didn’t have that affect, but she was ok with that she didn’t want people to be sacred in less it was absolutely necessary. “Yeah I guess they do but I really don’t come off as an evil witch, not in less I have to.” Said Willow. Last time she could really even remember people being freaked out by her, was when she had to rip the skin from Warren Mears after what he did to Tara. Willow had never been so over power and more crazy like she was in that moment. Something that she hopes she never has to go threw again. Lenore seemed very interested in the magic that Willow was doing, which was really cool to her not many people take interest in it. Mostly because they don’t understand magic or because they are sacred of it. But she couldn’t understand how anyone could be sacred, magic really is beautiful yet neat thing if it is used right. “It really can be a useful spell, you know if you are lost and need to light your way. Or if you just want to make for a beautiful yet romantic setting.” She said with a smile. Willow was dying to tell this girl that she knew what she was, there was just something deep down telling her to say something. “Hey I just want you to know that I know what you are, I can feel that you are a vampire.” Said Willow “But Don’t worry I trust you and I know you wont hurt me, I have other friends that are like you so.” Willow didn’t know why but there was just something about this girl she trusted, telling her that it was ok to trust her. ----------------------- ----------------------- Lenore let out a small smirk as the woman stated that people probably did think twice before messing with her but she tried not to come across as evil unless she had to. "That's a good survival skill," she approved. And it was. After all, she wouldn't have survived this long if she didn't assimilate into the human world to a certain extent. Besides, it was nice to see a witch that only practiced light magic instead of the darker arts. Much more safer in her opinion, not that anyone would ask her. She was a vampire after all and witches didn't usually have a high opinon of vampires, not that she could blame them since vampires tended to use witches for their own agendas.
Lenore then smiled as the witch went on to say that it could be a useful spell in that it could light up the forest so that one could find their way if they got lost or it could be used as a romanic setting. "Exactly," she agreed. She liked the reasons this woman gave. She had a feeling that her magic was pretty powerful even without going dark and that was a precious thing. One that should be cherished and from the sound of it, this woman did cherish her abilities.
Then, her eyes widened with slight surprise? She knew she was a vampire? Of course. That makes sense that a witch would be able to sense us, she mused. Witches were prone to sense other supernatural creatures, though those who were fairly new would have to touch someone to sense what they were. "I don't drink human blood," she confirmed when the woman went on to say that she knew Lenore wouldn't hurt her and that she had friends who were like her. "It's not the easiest way to live, but it helps me blend in better and it keeps me alive," she continued. Well alive-ish. Now that she had told this witch that, the vampire sincerely hoped that she wasn't particularly fond of the movie "Bambi" considering that she had been feeding on a buck before they had met up. -----------------------
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow hoped that it wasn’t going to scare her off, it wasn’t her intentions at all. She really liked Lenore and hoped to maybe become close friends, there was just something about her that maybe her feel like she was close to Tara. It wasn’t just the way she looked ether, there was just something about how she acted. Maybe it was because she was a sweet and genuine person just like Tara was, and the fact that she loved magic was just like her. She then wondered if she was gay like her? Because Willow couldn’t lie she had a mad crush for her, but she had no idea how to tell her that. Plus she was kind of a vampire, but dating vampires theses days seems to be the new thing. She was happy to hear that she didn’t drink human blood, but it was kind of sad for the animals. But Willow cant count all the times she has to kill animal for a spell, to many times. But it is something that she hates to do when she has to. “ Wow I bet killing isn’t easy, seeing that some of them run kind of fast at times.” She said with a giggle. She wonder if it was hard for her having to go with out human blood, Because Angel got blood bags for that. He didn’t even really do animal blood, so what she was doing couldn’t be easy. She really was a strong girl, Willow admired that about her. “But I bet its not easy blending in, you know having to live with out human blood. Is it hard I mean how you do it?” The Witch asked. ----------------------- ----------------------- At first, Lenore wasn't sure how this woman was going to react. After her revelation, the other woman had fallen silent as if pondering something. She's probably trying to figure out whether or not I'm on the level, she mused to herself. Not that she would blame her for being suspicious. A vampire who didn't feed on humans probably sounded too far-fetched for her. After all, vampires had a tendency to be ruthless, killing anything in their path either by feeding or other means. And she wasn't really sure what to make of this woman. Even for a powerful witch, she had acted much too calmly when revealing that she knew Lenore was a vampire. It just didn't make sense. I really hope she doesn't have some sort of romantic notion about us. Being a vampire's not romantic at all. It's a terrible curse, she mused. If she had been given the choice, she would've preferred to die of old age. However, that was no longer an option and she wasn't about to put a stake to herself. She may not always like being what she was, but she didn't have a death wish either.
Lenore gave herself a mental shake when she realized that the other woman was speaking again. She focused on what she was saying and then nodded. "Yeah, some animals are fast," she allowed. Which was true, some were, but vampires were ultimately faster. The woman went on saying that it couldn't be easy to live without human blood and then wondered if it was hard and how she did it. The vampire let a small smile grace her features. Such questions, she thought fondly. But she couldn't blame her for being curious. A vampire who didn't drink human blood was a rarity. "It's not easy. Animal blood is really disgusting, and we still crave human blood. However, we choose to tell ourselves that we can control the bloodlust instead of letting it control us," she told her. Which was hard sometimes. Human blood had a sweet, rich texture to it while animal blood tasted coarse and gritty. But it helped her and the others to blend in better.
Then she shook her head and laughed at herself. This woman probably thought she was crazy for revealing all of this to her without a proper introduction. Well I can certainly fix that, she thought to herself. Besides, if she was going to help out with a spell, it'd be better to know the other woman's name. "Listen to me going on and and you don't even know my name," she said with an apologetic shrug. "I'm Lenore," she introduced herself. -----------------------

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~She was right about that Animals could be fast, which made it hard a lot of time for Willow. Catching them for spells really came to be a job, but you do what you got to do when something is needed for a spell. “Yeah they are fast, I bet it sucks having to get you meal like that all the time.” Said Willow She liked how this girl was thinking, she seemed to be the most together vampire that Willow had ever met. Knowing how to take control it like this, she had never met a vampire with this much will power. “Wow you really do have it under control, there aren’t many that can. So I have to say that is impressive.” She said smiling at the girl. Willow couldn’t help but smile and flirt, she really was into her. Willow didn’t even know where her manners were, she felt rude and realized that she didn’t even tell Leonor her name. “Oh I’m so sorry I’m Willow.” She said taking her hand out to sake hers. “See I got so into my magic I forget all that’s around me.” She was somewhat telling her the truth, the real reason was because how taken she was. Lenore was the splitting image of Tara, in away she felt like she was back with her again. All the feeling she had missed and wanted for so long were back. Willow felt happy and safe to be in her presents, she couldn’t help but stand close to her. She didn’t want to lose this feeling she had wanted for so long, she liked her and hoped they could continue to talk even after tonight. “So have you lived her long? Or are you not from here?” Asked the witch. “I haven’t lived her for to long, I live in a boarding house with a bunch of my friends. Its really nice you should come over sometime for dinner and to hang out. My friends are pretty cool they don’t mind vampires.” Word Count- 340 Tagged- OPEN Outfit- Click To See Willow's OutfitNote- I hope this is ok, really tired when i wrote it. ----------------------- [ ----------------------- Lenore nodded in agreement as the girl commented on animals' speed and how it had to suck to get food that way. "Beats the alternative," she stated. Living on human blood was an easy way to live, but it also made you a target. And if she didn't have other vampires to worry about, she'd probably be causing destruction as she fed. But she did have other vampires to worry about. They were her friends and she wasn't going to get them killed because she didn't know how to rein it in.
As the woman went on to say that she really had things under control and that she was impressed as not a lot of vampires were able to do that, Lenore had a feeling that on some level, she was flirting with her. But why? She wasn't anybody special: just a creature of the night. "You're right. Not a lot of vampires are able to handle an animal diet," Lenore agreed, pushing the feeling away. She was proably just imagining things. There was no way this woman was flirting with her! It just wasn't done! Not that she had anything against someone of the same sex flirting with her. She just...she wasn't the type people tended to go for.
Willow. Lenore let the word resonate in her head. It was a pretty name. And it really seemed to fit this woman---she seemed to move about easily just as a Willow tree would. Then, she chuckled when Willow apologized, saying that she tended to get wrapped up in her magic and would forget about her surrondings. "That's not necessarily a bad thing. It shows your passion," she assured.
At her question, Lenore shook her head. "I'm not from around here. I just came here as a favor for a friend. Apparently, she needs my help with something but I'm not sure what," she explained. Which was a total lie. She knew exactly why she had been called here: Lexi wasn't one to ask for help with out some sort of explanation, but she didn't want to freak the woman out by telling her that a vampire was having problems controlling the bloodlust. But then again, Willow didn't seem like the type that would be freaked out by that sort of thing. But still, better safe than sorry. Then, she smiled at the invitation. "I just might have to take you up on that...if you're sure your friends don't mind. Some people don't believe that vampires can be good," Lenore responded. Sure she had said that her friends didn't mind vampires, but you never knew how a person would truly react until you showed up. There had been that time in the eighteen fifties...Lenore mentally shoved the thought down. She needed to focus. She had mentioned an illumination spell. "So, do you want to give that spell another try?" she asked.
OOC No worries. It was a great post. I know! I can't wait either!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow knew that she was so fluting with her, she just hoped that she wasn’t scaring her away. She just couldn’t help it she really like this girl, she had a strong feeling with being around her that she just had to go with. But at the same time she didn’t want to freak her out, Willow had no idea if she was gay or even opened to the idea. She never really been the best at that telling who was and who wasn’t, they all kind of just came to her. Tara kind of found Willow and Kennedy, well she just sort of knew and pushed herself on her. Willow did love that she notice her passion for magic, she seems to understand and get why she loves it so much. It also was cool that she was new to this town as well, which meant maybe they could each find some things to do with one another. Willow had been so busy ever since she came to town she hasn’t had the time. With Taking on a dragon, Glory, and having to help Dean’s brother, when did they get the time to have a normal life. She couldn’t lie she missed having a bit of personal life, getting to have someone special to be with, getting to fall asleep every night in there arms. Willow missed that so much feeling that connection, she hoped that she would find love again. She hoped that she was going to be in town for a while, Willow really did want to get to know her more. “Well hope you do stay in town for a bit, maybe that way we can hang out. I know this really cool magic shop you should so check out.” Said the witch. She seemed a little nervous on meeting some of Willow’s friends, it was funny because she had no idea that they were in fact friends with a few other vampire. Angel and Spike were pretty much at the boarding house all the time, ether bugging or helping Buffy depending on the day. “Don’t even worry about my friends they are pretty cool when it come to vampires, I’m pretty sure that there are a few other right now as we speak.” She said with smile. Willow could help but get excited when she said she was ready to work the spell again, it really showed her that she really wanted to do this spell with her. Which reminded Willow of another girl who could wait to get to the spells. “ Yeah sure we can, I’m down for working some more magic. But this time I want your help.” Willow then took out both her hands holding them out, waiting for her to take them to begin.
