- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She was not amused by any stretch of the imagination today it seemed. She had many things to do but unfortunately she hadn’t had as much time to do them as she had anticipated. She had come to Mystic Falls for a reason…to do her duty so to speak. She had always been the one to fix things that needed fixing. While some would see that as the Original family’s job, she had always done her best to help as much as possible. She didn’t trust several of the original family members and so she knew that most of them looked the other way on things such as the rules that were supposed to be followed.
The only family member she truly trusted was Elijah, and that was because he was an honorable man and she respected that. She had always been an honorable woman herself. She may do things that some people disagree with but everything she did was for the honor of those around her. They may not see it that way but it was. However Elijah was the only original family member that honor could be applied to. Rebekah was a brat, plain and simple. Oh Sophia knew that most of that was because of Niklaus however that didn’t mean that she agreed with it. Finn she had never really gotten to talk to simply because he hadn’t been around so she really couldn’t judge him. Kol was a nasty piece of work in her opinion and simply enjoyed inflicting misery on people for fun.
Niklaus she knew quite well and that was unfortunate in all honesty. He cared about nothing but himself, though he used things like ‘family’ and ‘friends’ to cover up what he really wanted.
Power.
However she wouldn’t worry about the original family today. No, she had other things to keep her mind occupied. As she walked up the driveway to the so called ‘boarding house’ she had an amused grin on her face. She was here to speak with Angelus, better now known as Angel. Knocking on the door she waited for someone to answer. She knew that this wouldn’t be the best day for Angel but she really didn’t mind. She had sent him a few messages on his cell phone but he had been fairly hostile. Maybe seeing him in person would make him more amendable.
And if not, she could always force him.

Complications? For some reason he found the word to be slightly off putting. As a vampire it was rather easy to see through lies. A person’s breathing would increase and they’d let off certain pheromones. However the boy’s heartbeat remained the same and so did his breathing. As for the pheromones he couldn’t tell either because the boy smelled so badly of canine. Wolf specifically, which had a kind of musky smell to it in itself. Even if Keiran was letting off certain pheromones he couldn’t have smelled it, no nose in the world would have been able to. One of Angel’s eyebrows raised slightly and his lip twitched a bit. The urge to accuse Keiran of lying was strong, but he forced his eyebrow to lower and attempted not to have noticed a thing. Angel was good at acting if he really wanted to be. At times he had to channel a bit of Angelus to do so, but it was usually well worth it.
”What kind of…complications?” the vampire asked simply, hoping that he wasn’t too obvious. However even if he was it didn’t matter much. Surely the wolf wasn’t stupid enough to blatantly lie to Angel’s face, knowing how old he was, and what he could do to him. ”It’s not uncommon for problems to arise during a werewolf’s first shift…Most have trouble with the first dozen or so, sometimes more, it’s different for every wolf.” Throughout his years of being a protector he’d taken the time to research the wolves. There wasn’t much that wasn’t common sense, but he’d wanted to do his homework anyways. Once Oz had mastered his shifts and being able to shift at will, he’d gone back and researched it again. As far as Angel knew, Oz was the only werewolf that was able to control his shifting. If Keiran couldn’t…that meant that he was dangerous. Not just for all of them and the public in general, but more importantly, for the redheaded slayer.
A nod of his head was the only response to the boy’s explanation of his choice of location. Nothing more needed to be said on the subject, in his opinion. Honestly he wouldn’t have chosen Richmond if he’d had the choice either. Taking a moment to spread the boy’s hometown through his memories, he lifted his mug to his lips and took a few sips. Shaking his head as he lowered it again, he cut his eyes back to Keiran. ”I don’t think I’ve traveled to Deptford. Near London? I spent most of my time near London and it’s suburbs. That, and Ireland” he said, taking another sip before he remembered something. ”Except during the Boxer Rebellion” he said, before looking back to Keiran as if he’d said something wrong. He didn’t like advertising that he’d been there, and hadn’t helped, but had made it that much worse. ”I’ve been just about everywhere” he finished simply.
Opening his mouth to reply to Keiran, a scowl across his face, he started but was interrupted almost immediately by a knock on the front door. As his lips closed he looked questioningly to Keiran, before lifting up his index finger as if to signal “one minute” and headed out of the kitchen. Setting his mug of blood down on the counter on the way out, he headed towards the front door. Behind it he heard no heartbeat…heard no breathing. Rubbing the back of his neck he opened the door to find Sophia, of all people, standing on his door step. Perhaps he shouldn’t have been so hostile to her earlier. ”What the hell are you doing here?”

Keiran chuckled a little when Angel asked where Deptford was. “Nah, it's a district in London. South. Just on the Thames. Home of the Dockyards, if you're that kind of old fuddy duddy that was there about 200 years ago.†Not for the first time, Keiran's thoughts returned to home. The open window of his bedroom, late at night, the sound of the River rolling by, mingled with the ghosts of the ships that once sailed the proud docks. The Dockyard was shut down long before his parents were even born, but sometimes, he could swear he could hear the shouts of long dead Navy men on the piers below.
“Though it sounds like you are a vamp that gets around. This is my first time out of the city, much less the country.â€
There was no shit on Keiran's nose. There was no reason for him to lie to Angel. He had tried to be polite, and let the vampire opt out of the more gruesome details of his first shift. When folk pried, it told him that they really wanted to know. No doubt, Angel knew just how painful and dire, emotionally and physically, a werewolves' first shift could be. Not everyone was lucky enough to be around people who loved them, people who didn't hold him responsible for his actions while under the sway of his birthright. So the subject was serious to him, yes, but he was not about to hide that part of himself. With everyone, they either got none of him, or they got all of them, and it was up to them if they could handle it.
“The 'complication' aforementioned was in a fit of rage, I blacked out and killed a man with an ice pick. I don't know how many times I stabbed him, but I imagine Metro is gunning hard for me.†His eyes took on the learned, passively cold glaze of a street kid, the kind of look that suggested that, while he didn't want to the truth of the events to hit him, they had. He had killed a person, even if he didn't remember doing it. It was something really. He loved being a werewolf, and killing that man had been the only way it was going to happen...
He rather enjoyed being a beast. He hated being a murderer.
Keiran was certain that if there had not been a call from the door, there would have been more from Angel to be said, but alas, the foyer called. He indicated to Keiran that he would be but a minute, and went off. Kei had been a street fella long enough to know that you didn't follow when you were pretty much told to stay put. For all he knew, Angel dealt meth on the side, and witnessing a hand off would get a bullet between his eyes, or fangs in his neck. So for now, he waited... . ;tag; sophia, angel, open ;count; 510 ;notes; posting this from work so I hope it works! ;credit; jax

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -Not surprisingly Angel wasn’t at all happy to see her. Of course that could be for a variety of different reasons. The first being that she had technically threatened his precious pet the slayer through text messages only a few days before hand. Another reason could be that she had slept with his evil counterpart numerous times and he was forced to remember it. Either way she really didn’t care, though it did amuse her that he seemed so outraged by her dropping in. “Don’t be like that love. I’m only here to have a friendly chat.” She told him, knowing that there was no way he would invite her in. Not that it worried her in the slightest.
Seeing a young girl who seemed quite at home walking up the driveway she smirked. “Just what I needed.” She told Angel with a wink before calling out the young girl. “Darling can you come over here for a second.” Luckily there was no way for Angel to get to the girl before Sophia had her in her grasp, though she had no intents on hurting her, she did need to use her for another reason. “I need you to invite me into the house.” She told her, looking deeply into her eyes as both of their pupils dialed, indicating that the compulsion was working. It took only seconds before the young girl stepped into the house and turned to her, inviting her inside before walking upstairs looking as if nothing odd had happened.
She shot Angel a smirk before pushing her way through the door, not giving him a chance to stop her. “Oh lose the pout handsome or else your face will freeze like that.” She told him before sensing another person in the room. Turning towards the man she quirked an eyebrow. “Hmmm…what do we have here?” She asked, taking a deep breath in order to gather the man’s scent. She wrinkled her nose daintily when she realized exactly what he was and shook her head. “Shame shame Angel. I thought you were better than to hang out with a werewolf.” She told him sadly. “Have I taught you nothing?”
Okay, so that one was a stretch. By the time that she had met Angelus she hadn’t really had anything to teach him. Realistically she knew that while she was older than the handsome vampire she had nothing on him in strength. However she was also a lot craftier than most gave her credit for which meant that while he may be able to beat her in a fair fight, she had never really planned on fighting fare. “Now, be a dear and take a seat so we can talk. I promise not to harm your pet should she walk in.” She would keep that promise, but that didn’t mean she wouldn’t harm someone else should Angel not cooperate with what she wanted him to do.
She had never been a patient woman and hopefully the vampire remembered that or else things would get ugly very quickly.

Angel nodded, it seemed that he hadn’t been that far South in London before. It was no matter, there were so many different sectors of London that it shouldn’t have come as a surprise that he didn’t know all of them by heart. ”Fuddy duddy?” he asked, his tone threatening but a small smirk pulling at his lips. Every once in a while the man seemed to have a bit of a sense of humor. It didn’t happen often but it did happen. When it did most people seemed to find it as odd coming from the vampire, as if it didn’t quite fit. Which in all reality, it didn’t considering his usual demeanor…
Although he hadn’t been expecting for Keiran to open up, he listened as he spoke. His eyebrows raised only slightly as if not wanting to seem too alarmed. Clearly it’d happened awhile ago and even so the wolf was no match for the more experienced vampire. ”I would definitely agree with that statement” he spoke, his voice flat, concerning the Metro gunning for the boy. His lips parted once again but he was interrupted by the door and with that, he was off.
Clearly he wasn’t happy to see Sophia’s face when he opened the door. In fact she was just about the last person he wanted to see right now other than Glory of course. ”I’m not in the mood to have a chat with you, Sophia. Friendly or otherwise” he stated flatly, moving forward to attempt to close the door on her. His eyebrows raised as she said something about what she needed and before he had the chance to react, she had one of the potentials in her grasp. If she so much as harmed one hair on that girl’s head…well, he wouldn’t hesitate to kill her tonight. Especially considering the mood he was already in. As he soon realized what she was doing he simply glared at her. What a perfect moment for Jessica to come home…Damn it.
With a roll of his eyes he shut the door behind her, knowing she wasn’t planning on leaving anytime soon. Following behind her he watched as she spotted Keiran and moved to stand between the two, almost protecting the wolf. Sophia could be an evil bitch if she really wanted to and he wasn’t going to deal with Violet acting out against him for Keiran’s untimely death. Hovering in front of the boy, he tilted his head to the female. ”You, Sophia, taught me nothing” he grumbled, his voice again taking a flat tone as if highly bored with her surprise appearance. ”Don’t move” Angel instructed Keiran, but never took his eyes off of the elderly vampire in front of him. Keeping a close watch on her he stepped forward. ”Just come out with whatever it is, I’m not in the mood for you tonight”. More than likely she’d picked up on that earlier. However since she’d still come here he felt as if it needed to be reiterated. Whatever her intentions were, she needed to talk soon, otherwise he wouldn’t be quite so passive.

The voices coming from the entryway sounded... well... he didn't know what Angel sounded like cross. He thought he did, but this was a different kind of strain in his voice. Keiran may not necessarily be welcome here, but Angel was at least going through the motions of respect and hospitality. He didn't realize just how much Angel had been trying with him until he heard the tone coming out of his voice now. He stopped the swinging of his legs against the kitchen counter, and leapt off, landing with more grace than he would have been capable of half a year ago. Carefully, he nudged himself forward into the front foyer. He was hard focused, and ready for something nasty to go down, but he was not necessarily prepared to see the woman standing there. She was attractive, he would give her that much if pressed, but for the most part, the werewolf did not like her at first glance. Something about her, something deep seeded at his very core. Sure there had been something about Angel that had his predator on edge, two large carnivorous animals walking into a room and trying to figure each other out, circling and sniffing. With this woman... Sophia, if he caught the name right... he could almost feel a growl tumbling from the back of his very human throat. It was new... kinda cool... but also, rather dissenting. He also didn't like Angel's body language. Kei had been around the block a few times, and may not have centuries of experience under his belt, but he knew a protective stance when he saw one. If he wasn't feeling so tense about the whole thing, Keiran might feel a little warm in the heart to see it. There was a storm rolling in Angel that Keiran was picking up on, and how he already naturally felt about this woman was making anxious. He didn't particularly like the way she said the word "werewolf." He kept to where he was, though, pressed between Angel, the kitchen, and, he soon realized, the rest of the house. Angel was not about to let her get deeper into the house than he was comfortable with, but one man was not going to be able to guard all of the doorways plus the staircase upstairs. He remembered what he was told about this place. It was like a boarding school, a place for girl to go to learn to use their powers. He didn't trust her, which means he didn't trust her with them. And he didn't like being baited. At her condescending tone, he smiled, almost pleasantly if not for the fact that it didn't reach his eyes. "Well, I'm sure the wolf is better company than the twist that just walked through the door."

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She quickly set her clutch on the table next to the couch, ignoring the hostile looks she was receiving from Angel as well as the wolf in the room. Picking an invisible piece of lint off of her dress she rolled her eyes at the not so failed threats that Angel was letting loose. "Oh calm down handsome. I'm not here to hurt anyone so just calm your blood pressure. Oh wait, you can’t. Shame.” She stated, her eyes twinkling with her joke though it was clear from the silence in the room that no one else appreciated her attempt at humor.
Hearing his statement about not wanting to talk to her she shrugged. "Well that's too bad for you love because you're being forced to talk to me. I'm not going to leave until we have a little chat. Don't worry though, your little pet wolf can stay. Nothing I'm going to say is a secret." She told him, barely throwing a glance at the wolf who wasn't saying much too her. All the better in her opinion. She didn’t have the patience to deal with werewolves of any kind. She already had to deal with Niklaus, a werewolf hybrid, the last thing she wanted to deal with is another wolf.
Hearing his words she conceded that he was right, though of course she wouldn't just admit that straight off. "Your right Angel, I didn't teach you anything, though I did teach Angelus a few things. At least in the bedroom." She told him with a wink. Again, that wasn't completely true since Angelus had more sexual partners than she cared to even think about however that didn't mean that she didn't like to rile him up. It was one of her favorite past times, riling people up who are easy to mess with.
She let the façade drop for a moment and stood up, this time putting her hands on her hips though still in a casual position. “I actually came here to warn you lovely.” She told him, her eyes like ice. “Your little pet slayer has been slaying more and more vampires recently. Which is fine with me if they are weak enough to get caught by a mere human. However, there are quite a few vampires off limits to your little playgroup and I wanted to make sure that was known to you.” She stated, hating that Elijah had made her come here as a messenger but refusing to let her distaste show on her face. “Also I thought I would warn you that if the slayer comes near any of those off limits, they will destroy her. I myself would find great pleasure in that as you know, however she is off limits to us as well unless she threatens us.” She scoffed, remembering the clear words of Elijah’s telling her that the Summers slayer was off limits. Pathetic in her opinion but she did what she was told when it came to the originals.
She heard the wolf’s comment and rolled her eyes. “Why don’t you go play fetch little one.” She told him before smirking. “Or better yet, I’ll have a chat with Niklaus and let him know there’s another potential hybrid looking for a master. Would love to see you sire bonded to him.” She told him before turning her attention back to Angel.
Seeing the lapis ring on his finger she quirked an eyebrow at him. “Looks like my question was answered. A witch was killed by a vampire, pretty bloody from what I was told. Any ideas who killed her?” She asked.

Although he couldn't see Keiran he could sense the pleasantness in his voice and felt like smiling over it. Of course he didn't because the bitch of all bitches was standing in front of him but he felt a certain amount of pride at the boy. Still making sure to stand between her and Keiran, Angel shifted his weight to the other foot. He wasn't anxious he was just keeping his guard up. Sophia was definitely trouble and with everything else going on he didn't need her stirring something up too. "Oh, I know you aren't, because we both know I'd kill you first." Heh. If she wanted to be snide he would as well. He'd been through this game with her and he liked to think he knew it well. She wasn't here to hurt anybody and he'd known that from the get-go. Rarely if ever did she actually do anything. No, she was more about the mind games.
"You're here to play one of your little games and again I'm going to tell you I'm in no mood. Why don't you go play somewhere else" he said, his lips curling up into a bit of a snarl. How dare she come to his territory and get herself invited in? She had to be asking to die, or at least wanting to. Hadn't she learned anything during her time with him? Angel wouldn't hesitate to kill someone he saw as a threat, not even her. Of course she didn't plan on leaving. She wouldn't leave until she'd finished telling him whatever it was they needed to discuss. So, he could at least try to speed it up. "So talk." With this he crossed his arms over his chest and kept his back straight. His posture was definitely not inviting and that definitely showed.
The comments about being taught in the bedroom by her annoyed him. He simply scoffed. "I don't believe you taught me anything in that department, either" he spoke, his voice low and near a growl. Now she was bringing up the past that he'd forgotten about until this very moment. Or rather until she'd texted him earlier that night. Either way Sophia hadn't been anything that'd ever stuck in his mind. She hadn't been special to him, not even to Angelus. Until her messages earlier he'd forgotten about her completely.
"Call her my pet again, I rip your head off where you stand" Angel snarled, this time actually forming a deep growl through his chest. He didn't like her tone nor did he like her voice. Couldn't stand it. "And who might they be?" he asked, playing interested though he probably wouldn't listen to her anyways. "I'd love nothing more than to see her plunge a stake through your cold, dead, black heart you icy bitch" and though his words were cruel, he kept his face emotionless. "So, who's messenger are you today Sophia?" Obviously she was here for someone else and rather than insulting her, he might as well try to figure out who was behind this little visit of hers.

There is was again... that threat of a growl growing in the place between his lungs and his stomach. His palms started to feel twitchy, anxious. If this twist had come into the house, all shouts and slings, then he would have been a little more comfortable. He knew scraps. He knew rumbles. He even knew dominance wars, although he didn't know just how well he was versed in them until this enlightening experience with Angel. It was all this cool double talk that he didn't like. "We are men of action... Lies do not become us..." He didn't know who said that, but he was sure that the voice in his head reciting it was English, so it was good enough for him. What it really all meant that as long as these two vamps were playing mind games with each other, he was going to just assume that Sophia was going to rush either of them, or some other inhabitant of the house. She hadn't given him a reason to be either trusting or forthcoming, and if Angel didn't like her... well, he seemed a decent enough fellow. She didn't seem like a decent enough twirl. Angel: 1 Skirt: 0 She was talking, and he didn't much like the things coming out of her mouth. They sounded an awful lot like threats, similar words coming from the war councils that happened at two in the morning in the London fog. Under bridges, and in alleyways, the boys of night would talk about who was off limits, and who was too much of a hassle, and who needed to be made an example of. The more she talked, the more Keiran started to become more comfortable with this world that he was inching his way into. Seems that things were not so different for people who lived the other life. Everyone just thought they were. She threw a sling his way, and it was all that he could do to keep from outwardly rolling his eyes. "Some kitty comes around strutting like a peacock, and the best she can come up with to prove herself is some dog pun? Nice... Loving the wit." He was not entirely sure who this Niklaus was, or what a hybrid was, or what a sire bond was, but judging that she was using it as a threat, he didn't much like it. Refusing to look stupid in front of her, though, he bit his tongue and reminded himself to ask about it long after she was out of earshot. Something told him it was need to know info... Angel was not happy. Whoever this Slayer was (Got a Slayer of your own, mate? Another point for ya.) she seemed to be causing trouble for the bad guys. Fine by him. If any of the things that went bump in the night were half as irksome as the vampire in the room, then he would help hunt them down on principle. Call it community service. Angel asked her who she was the messenger for, and Keiran felt a scoff breath from the back of his throat. "Yeah, whose leash are you on, pretty girl?" He still kept a careful ear out for anyone who might enter the room and cause the situation to go from just mildly off-putting to outright insufferable. Sure, it meant that his attention was divided, but he didn't have a head for these games anyway. ;tag; sophia, angel, open ;count; ;notes; --- ;credit; jax

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She would not lie; she was extremely frustrated by everything that had been going on recently not only in Mystic Falls but also in Richmond. She had known Katerina quite well for many years and yet she was carrying on like a common harlot with that hunter and she was frankly quite sick of it. She had no desire to kill her friend or another friend’s brother but this entire situation was preposterous. She wasn’t quite sure why this was hitting her so hard right at this precise moment however it was and she was not at all happy about it. She knew she needed to get out of here and deal with the whole reason that she had come to this town however she also knew that she had to handle the wolf first.
Turning her attention back to the situation at hand she shot a glare at Angel for his last comment. “You need to quickly get over yourself.” She told him with a haughty tone in her heavy accented voice. “I came here to talk to you about something important. However before I tell you my true reason for being here I have one thing to do.” She told him before walking over to the wolf whose name she never did get and grabbed the collar of his short giving him no time to protest.
She quickly made her way to the door and shoved him out. “Sorry puppy. I never did like dog hair all over the furniture.” She stated with a smirk before slamming the door in his face. Turning back to Angel she held her hands up in mock surrender. “Now before you get all uppity I did not need him to hear what I was going to say. Glory. Heard of her?” She asked with a smile, clearly already knowing the answer.
“Want a tip? Here it is. Her new vessel is her weakness. It’s younger and not nearly as strong. Destroy the vessel and you destroy her. Her last vessel was twenty five. Twenty five is an important number in magic. Her new vessel is only sixteen. Sixteen is a weak magical number. Destroy the vessel and you destroy her.”
This was all she said before retrieving her clutch and sliding out the door. She had given him enough information to get rid of the hell bitch for good. She had no desire to sit around and chat with him, nor did she think he had any desire to do the same with her. Leaving the driveway she smirked. On to her next project.
