This girl was absolutely strange. Most of Stefan was unnerved by that, but one tiny sliver of him—that monster that he could become—was almost fascinated. The way she just smiled when he said he could kill her made his stomach twist. Or was that just from how he felt like he hadn’t had blood in days. God, he was so fucking hungry! And she was reassuring him that she’d be okay. Just the flash of pitch black color across her eyes made him believe that for a moment, but also confused him a bit. That wasn’t like how it happened to vampires, and her body was definitely alive. What exactly was this girl? Once he had bitten into her, Stefan couldn’t even say that she was remotely human. She just tasted like nothing he had ever drank before. And somehow, it made him feel more power and a deeper rage than he could ever remember as his times as The Ripper.

But, even though he felt that he was cutting into her flesh deeper, the way she was reacting merely confirmed his worst conclusion. Ruby was enjoying being drained. It didn’t make him want to stop drinking, but it caused a guttural growl to land in his throat. This was so he could eat, not so that she could get off on whatever sick fantasy she had planned. Part of him wondered if Klaus was behind this after all, that the Hybrid had found some kind of blood that would be so irresistible to Stefan that he would win back his ‘best friend’ that way. It was horrible to think about, but most of Stefan was still lost in his bloodlust to even think about going at that point.

Stefan was about to take the other side of her neck and rip open the slice in it a bit more when he suddenly found himself falling forward into the car. He spread out his hands in plenty of time to catch himself, and watched as Ruby reappeared in a cloud of black smoke. What the hell. He had certainly never seen something quite like that before and the only thing that came to mind was a demon from… well, like Ruby had said, she came from Hell. It would be probably something that Stefan never thought would have existed, but then again, he once thought that werewolves didn’t exist, and now he had seen countless amounts of them. Needless to say, Stefan stared at her like she was an alien. But her words snapped him out of his slack-jawed wonder and back to his need for blood. No matter how much he got, it never seemed like enough, and before he could try to escape again, he rushed towards as fast as he could and attempted to grab her again.

”Don’t make this something it’s not,” The vampire’s voice had devolved into something less than human—a gravelly sound full of growls and grunts. Then again, he wasn’t really trying to put across a message, he was trying to bite into her again,”You’re just a chunk of meat. Bit tougher than the rest but, you know, I’ll make do.” More blood filled his mouth, but he couldn’t tell if it was his own or Ruby’s. And then, in a burst of emotion, he felt something strange. He didn’t want to be like this, he didn’t want to act this way. He could feel tears of frustration threaten to line his eyes, and suddenly, Stefan pulled away. He stumbled back until Ruby’s mustang caught his backside. ”Oh, God.” Stefan mumbled through his hands, eyes flicking from Ruby to the road and any other point that he could escape. He finally felt his legs give way again, and then he was moving, trying to head back home, mostly on instinct alone.

She groaned as she waited for Jeremy. She knew that something must have happened to have him be running late but still, it was annoying. She got along with most of Elena’s friends from those she had met but still, she was a bit annoyed at how everyone seemed to be on their own clock. Elena was supposed to be with Bonnie tonight (one of the few friends that Lexi actually didn’t get along with) and Jeremy was supposed to be helping her with something and yet for some reason Jeremy was late and it was wigging her out. She needed to find a place that she could semi spy on this Klaus character and yet so far she hadn’t found one.

Lexi’s ears perked up when she heard a woman’s voice, but it was quickly followed by a man’s voice and she knew it wasn’t Caroline. It was hard for her to hear exactly what they were saying over the rushing water running under Wickery Bridge but she could hear that there were two of them. Her eyes squinted a bit as the male’s voice came a bit clearer to her and she groaned when she realized why that was, it was because it was Stefan. She knew him, knew the tenor of his voice so it was easier to pick up on. The blonde vampire quickly sent a text message to Jeremy letting him know not to come and just to meet her back at the house and walked quickly but quietly towards the sound, not wanting to alert anyone of her presence just yet. She couldn’t tell from the distance if the girl was a human or that original vampire chick Rebekah that Elena had told her about, but either way she didn’t want them alerted to the fact that she was there.

“Fuck” She groaned before running quickly at him, though luckily before she got there Stefan seemed to come into himself again and pulled himself off of her. That didn’t mean she still wouldn’t interfere because she did but that just meant that she didn’t actually have to physically remove Stefan from the girl, something she was grateful for since half the time this did more damage to the victim. “What the hell is wrong with you?” She sneered, her eyes clouding into a red hue and veins appearing, her teeth elongating and for the first time since she had gotten there she looked like the vampire she truly was.

“You were supposed to stay hidden!” She growled out.

Ruby need a break from him drinking her, after all they needed to have a bit of a chat. The demon was hoping maybe she had found her new partner in crime, someone new that she could work with. He seemed strong and someone who got the job done when need be. Ruby needed all the help that she could get in taking on Sam and Dean, so maybe this guy was the answer to all her problems. She could tell that the vampire was in a bit of shock , seeing her disappear right before his very eyes. Well the cat was out of the bag, he had to know that she was in fact a demon now if her eyes weren’t enough. “Well I guess my Houdini trick there sacred you huh, what can I say I have that affect on people.” She said with big smile on her face. “But that what happens when you are a demon.”

But the demon could tell that he wasn’t in fact done yet, as he jumped into her again digging more into her flesh. Now the demon was a bit pissed off, not that he was drinking more but the fact she couldn’t get a word in edge wise. Now he was pretty much using her for a blood bank something that she was not, she cant lie though she did love the rush of him drinking from her. The fact that he was so biting into was a big turn on, soon he might need to stop or Ruby will have other ideas for him. But he needed to know what her limits were, they both needed to get something out of this not just him. Which is why she wanted to talk to him, she needed help in taking down the Winchesters.

Then all the sudden out of nowhere someone had pulled Stefan off of Ruby, stopping him from drinking anymore. After getting over the head rush from losing all her blood, she got a better look of who had stopped him. It had appeared that some blond girl that knew, she some how stopped him from what he was doing. “What the fuck!” The demon screamed. Who did this bitch even think she was stopping him from drinking. Ruby was capable of taking care of herself she didn’t need anyone’s help. “Look I don’t know who the hell you are, but we were in the middle of something here. So I really don’t appreciate you coming here and fucking it all up for us. Who the hell are you anyway? Some Vampire Barbie?” She asked curiously.

The vampire’s frown just tightened a little as Ruby explained what she was. He was used to the teasing from both Damon and Lexi, so her comment about being scared rolled off pretty easily. But now that she herself had confirmed that she was a demon, the mixture of her blood in his system and his mind glazing over with hunger twisted his logic. If she wasn’t even human, did that mean that he truly was doing something bad? Really, all that he knew about demons were that they were hideous creatures that worked for Satan… or something like that. There were too many rumors and somehow he had never run in the circles where he could ever meet a demon, preferring to stick closer to his foodstock. But now having tasted Ruby, tangibly felt that she was different , it was evident that Demons were a real thing. And maybe it was okay if he fed from her. It didn’t seem to hurt her and he was being fed. Like Lexi said, he needed to be at full strength to fight Klaus and this could work as a temporary solution…

Because feeding from her did feel wonderful, in a way. Simply the rush from the blood continuously flowing down his throat and his victim not falling apart as he gouged deeper into the flesh of her neck was something he had never experienced before. Though it wasn’t long before Ruby began to struggle against him a little, probably wanting to talk about what she wanted out of this arrangement. Past his vile words, the struggle was enough to make the vampire balk and pull away from her. He wanted to run so badly, but he was still starving. If he did run, he would probably kill the first thing he came across, human or not. What was he going to do?

And in a stroke of luck, either good or bad or a mixture of the two, a figure was suddenly between him and Ruby. Lexi. She had tracked or seen him somehow. He could almost feel her words cut him as she hissed them through her fangs, ”I know--- I’m so sor…” His voice gave out as he tried to wipe away the red stains from his mouth. All the guilt that he had felt tearing himself away from Ruby was increased tenfold as Lexi glared at him, the full brunt of her raging pouring onto him, evident through every part of her. Sometimes he truly did feel like a child around her. And he knew saying words were meaningless at this point. If he was actually sorry, he would shut up and follow direction.

But that wasn’t how things were going to play out. Ruby seemed to be a strong willed woman herself, and wasn’t about to let her agenda go. Just hearing the words, he knew that it wouldn’t end well. Depending on how angry Lexi was, this could go into a fight pretty easily, and that was the last thing Stefan wanted to see happen. Chances were he would get too emotional and step in, and his bestie probably wouldn’t hesitate to snap his neck if she had to… and he wasn’t looking forward to something like that. Stefan looked to the older vampire, hoping that she would listen to him, even if he probably didn’t deserve to be listened to, ”Lexi, please. Let’s go.”

Lexi glared at her best friend. Yes, even though she was highly pissed off at him at the moment he was still her best friend. Hell even when he was being a world class asshole he was still her best friend. Even when he refused to admit that she was his friend, she still stood by him. Even when she had been his only friend except for Elena and Damon who hadn't given up on him months before hand, she had still stood by him. However that didn't mean that she wasn't highly pissed off at him. One look at her face was all anyone would have needed to show how unhappy she was at the moment.

She ignored Stefan's feeble apologies, something that he seemed to realize because he cut himself off before he could fully finish. He knew that giving her words were not going to make anything better. She had always been a firm believer of 'actions speak louder than words' and that was pretty much the code she lived by. Luckily Stefan knew her well enough to know that or else they might have had a problem. However her attention was focused clearly on the brunette that he had drank from. Something told her that she wasn't human and she was definitely going to listen.

She was surprised that the woman seemed pissed off at the fact that she had stepped in between she and Stefan. Hmm...there was definitely something about her that rubbed Lexi the wrong way and that was saying something. She was usually the type who could get along with anyone however this girl, nope, she could already tell she wasn't going to like her. That feeling was amplified times ten when she opened her damn mouth again and started spouting off about being in the middle of something. "Yeah, I know what you were in the middle of. He was in the middle of making a big mistake and you were in the middle of getting off on it." She stated, not really knowing if it was true but taking a wild guess that it was.

Turning to Stefan she shot him a glare. “Something I’m sure his girlfriend is really going to appreciate.” She stated before hearing the woman’s next words and turning back quickly with a glare. Okay, she had been called a lot of crap in her time but one thing she wasn’t impressed with was being compared to a Barbie. She knew that most Barbie’s had blonde hair and large breasts like she did, but that didn’t mean that she wanted to be compared to them.

Hearing Stefan's pleas for them to go she glared. "You started it, it's up to me to fix it, again." She stated, though it was more of a hiss. She then turned her attention once more back to the brunette and growled at her, something that she rarely did for she didn't usually let herself go as much as she was tonight. "I suggest you run away now or I'm going to get very angry, something you don't want to see." She hissed out, staying in between the girl and Stefan. Even though she was mad she was still a momma bear when it came to him. She could kick his ass all she wanted but if someone else tried to hurt him, they better watch out.

Who did this girl think she was anyway breaking them up like this? It seems like lately some girl is always fucking things up for her, first its some bitch named Katherine, now is was this blond bimbo. Why cant things just work out for the demon for once, just once is all she is asking for. She seemed to know the vampire and was pretty pissed off, it must be is girlfriend or something. That was the only logical explanation to it all, and it wouldn’t be the first time Ruby wanted someone’s man. Most the time it’s the taken men that she loves, all though its not that often that a vampire is taken. She listened as she was still yelling at him saying that he was making a mistake, the demon couldn’t help but chime in. “I didn’t see any mistake there if I do say so myself. After all he was just having a drink, what was the harm in that” She said with an evil like smile.

The blond girl had said something about a girlfriend, which meant they were just friends she guessed? Or his girlfriend is a jealous bitch who has to send her friends to watch him over him, it wouldn’t surprise Ruby most girls are like that. “Wow girlfriend huh, well by the time I was done with him he wasn’t going to want his lame girlfriend anymore. I can promises you that.” She said with a smile, sounding proud about it. She could tell that the girl didn’t like the fact she had called her vampire Barbie, which made the Demon chuckle knowing she had pissed her off. It was her intentions in the first place and she was loving every second of it.

She loved that the that the vampire was pissed off, she could tell by the way she turned to growl at her. It seemed as thought she wanted the demon to leave, which wasn’t happing anytime soon. Not because she was obsessing over the Stefan or anything, but because this blond vampire didn’t want her there. The demon was having way to much fun pissing her off. What else did she have to do really. “No I don’t think I will be leaving, seeing you get angry is kind of amusing me. In away you kind of remind me of myself. My question is if he is a vampire why wont you just let him feed? Oh the name is Ruby by the way.” She said while showing her demon eyes to the girl.

Having Lexi lay everything out so pointed and simply was as uncomfortable and painful as Stefan expected it to be—perhaps even more so since she brought up Elena. He had to admit, he understood that Ruby was strangely attracted to the feel of being fed on, but if Lexi thought that it was anything else but a drink for him, she would have been sorely mistaken. He had plenty of things that Elena had to forgive him for and a misunderstanding like ‘He was biting another girl and liking it too much’ would crush her. In a way, he supposed it was best that Lexi found them instead of Damon. If he begged hard enough, maybe Lexi would let him off a bit easier this time and let him talk to Elena about this instead of bringing her the harsh and abridged Lexi version of things.

The more Ruby talked, the more evident it was that she really hadn’t listened to anything he said… or rather didn’t care. Her comment about his girlfriend just made him narrow his eyes, but since she was still a woman, he let the statement go without any threats or violence towards Ruby. He didn’t know how the older vampire next to him would react to such a thing, but it just made Stefan feel a bit unsettled. He had told her that he had a girlfriend, though maybe she had drank enough beer that she forgot? How did alcohol affect demons anyway? In any case, there wasn’t a point to try and confront Ruby about it, since Stefan was going to try very hard never to meet the demon again.

Stefan just lowered his gaze as Lexi glared at him, knowing that she was rightfully angry at the situation. And though every time he went off the rails, his blond bestie was as angry as all get out, she still was there for him whenever he needed her. Still, this situation wasn’t completely of his own making, ”She slashed her throat open,“ Stefan half-whispered back to the blond vampire through gritted teeth, trying to defend himself just a little, ”People don’t normally do that.”

His eyes traveled between the two women as they stared each other down. More than ever, he wanted to speed away as fast as he could, but he knew if he came across anything with a heartbeat, he’d kill it and eat it in seconds. No, he was like a freaking alcoholic and he needed Lexi to be his designated driver and sponsor all in one. But the fight that seemed imminent between the girls would just cause more bloodshed that, in the worse case scenario, could send Stefan into a higher frenzy than what he was already at. He looked back to Lexi, ”You’re just playing into what she wants. We don’t have to say anything to her.” In fact, he truly hoped Lexi didn’t say anything. This Ruby seemed like a true manipulator, and any information she got her hands on would definitely be used against them in the future.

She bit back a growl, only because she didn’t want anyone to overhear her. She was not impressed with this woman (and she used that term loosely) at all. She wanted to grab Stefan and leave but she had never been one to walk away when things are still unresolved. She wanted to be able to let loose and show this woman (and Stefan for that matter) who she was messing with. However she curbed her instincts that were screaming at her to let go as best as she could and just sent the brunette a harsh glare that would have made lesser people run away in terror.

Her glare intensified when she made the comment about Stefan’s girlfriend. Lexi wasn’t one to get in the middle of relationship issues but she had a vested interest in Elena and Stefan only because they reminded her so much of her and Lee. Lee was gone now and she would make damn sure that no one would have to life with what she had been dealing with over the past several months. She refused to allow her best friend to know the pain of losing his mate, whether it was from death, destruction, or his own stupidity.

It didn’t surprise her when the girl introduced herself, showing herself as a demon. She wasn’t sure if Damon and Stefan had ever encountered a demon before but Lexi had been around for a great deal longer than they had so she had seen a lot more stuff. For as worldly as Damon and Stefan were, they were still fairly naïve in the way of supernatural things. She knew for a fact that they had never known about werewolves existing until Masen Lockwood had shown up in town (Elena had given her to run down on everything that had happened one day when they were bored) so she really had no idea if they knew about demons. However either way she had encountered more than one so the black eyes didn’t phase her as much as she had a feeling that Ruby wanted them to.

She heard Stefan’s whispered comment and felt her anger abide a bit. She understood that in normal circumstances that Stefan would have been able to handle himself as he had over the years. However with him so soon being back on the rails it was more difficult. She nodded, not taking her eyes off the demon, in order to show that she heard him. Though she did grab his arm and give it a comforting squeeze to let him know that they were fine. She wouldn’t tell Elena the whole sucking on another girl thing, she wasn’t that type of person.

“I would say it was nice to meet you but we both know I would be lying and if there’s one thing I try not to do it’s lie. However I’ll play nice for a millisecond and introduce myself as well. I’m Lexi. As for the answer to your question, none of your damn business. What I do and why I do it is no concern over you. Besides, who the hell really wants demon blood. I’d much rather have human and if it were me, I would have smelled the difference on you. However Stefan is young and doesn’t realize the difference. He’ll feel it later.” She stated, really having no idea if there was a difference in how their bodies reacted to demon blood rather than human blood, but wanting her to think there was.

She heard Stefan almost plead for them to leave but she wasn’t backing down just yet. She didn’t trust her enough to turn their backs on her. “Now I’m saying we call a truce here. I won’t kick your ass, you leave and so will we. No more bloodshed. Do we have a deal?” She asked, her eyes taking in every movement that the demon made, wanting no more than to leave as well, but having the sense to watch their backs as well.

Who did this girl think she was talking to Ruby like this, why wouldn’t anyone want Demon blood after all it is the best. It made you strong a lot more then human blood did, after all Sam loved it he didn’t complain. He begging Ruby for more and more, it was what made him keep coming back to her and he was just a human. It was a alike pure drug to him, so why wouldn’t it be for a vampire? He liked it the demon wasn’t dumb, he was just acting all different because this bitch was around. She knew that was why because all the sudden Stefan was acting like a beaten puppy, when before he was this bad ass vamp. She put her hand up acting like the demon didn’t want to hear it, giving her the whatever sign more or less.

“Well I really don’t know what you are talking about Demon blood is the best, but wherever you say I really don’t care. I was just trying to have some fun, I never should have even messed with this vampire Sorry that I even bothered him, was not worth the drama.” The demon said annoyed. “I have to many other things to worry about really.” It was the truth she was still on the look out for Sam and Dean, so far not so good. But Kol is suppose to be working with her on this, so next time Sam and Dean wont know what hit them. We will get them went they lest expert it.

The demon was done and ready to leave and move on to the next thing she needed to deal with, this conversation wasn’t going anywhere. It was useless in the lest and she didn’t get what she wanted out of it. She was hoping for a bit of a thrill and some fun, which obviously wasn’t going to happen tonight for the demon. “Well Stefan thanks for all the fun but I’m out!” She said disappearing into thin air.
