She said to Dean, "She gives you trouble let me handle it, I'll make sure she stays underground this time" He then told her his feelings about her death, she could feel the awkward lump in her throat and her eyes brimming with tears. She felt so awful that he felt this way about her dying. She had come to terms with it from the moment that she knew she was a goner. She knew it was her time to go and the last thing she wanted was for him to feel the way he did,like he should have done more.There was a small part of her that felt that maybe with time he could have moved on past it, and that maybe her coming back wasn't a good idea. Or that she should have left town the second she got a chance. But no, she had to find him and think about him and watch him from above because she couldn't shake her own feelings.If she wouldn't have seen him again maybe he could have moved on and had a happy life with Caroline.
She motioned for him to come closer to her "Come here, look at me" Once he did she said, "Listen to me, there was nothing you could have done Dean, it was my time to go and I knew that.. no matter what it was just my time I was ok with it..I was at peace I missed you like hell but I was ok you have to know that I know you care about me and that you worried but everything is ok now, and I don't want you to worry about me anymore I'm here and you're here we have each other and we always will you know that I love you, I always have and the last thing I want for you is for you to live your life worrying about lil ole me..I want more for you" She then froze in her tracks. She could not believe she actually spit it out. That she loved him. She always knew it but never actually came right out with it.Oh damn, oh damn oh damn..Joanna Beth you idiot! Promise me Jo that you wont go near her, I don’t want her hurting you ok.” He didn’t mean to mean or so hard on her, its just Dean couldn’t let that hell bitch do anything to her. Dean couldn’t take losing her again, especially to some stupid hell bitch. He knew that soon he needed to find and take down Ruby once and for all. Then they wouldn’t have to deal with her shit any longer. “But don’t worry I will make sure you are the first to know when I take her down.” He said giving her a smile.
He could tell that she wasn’t taking it lightly with him mad at himself, which he couldn’t help that he felt this way but he just did. It killed him that he couldn’t do something to save her, something to keep her alive. Or better yet that hell hound should have bitten him, Meg sent them for Dean after all not Jo. But he knew that she wasn’t going to be happy till he said ok and forgot about it. Which Dean was willing to do, but there will always be that place in the back of his head that feels diffident. All he can do now is make sure not to lose her again, which Dean will die first before he lets that happen.
But then as Jo was laying it into Dean for feeling the way he did, Jo said the one thing he has never heard her say before. The three little words he always wondered, something he never though she would say. She told Dean that she loved him, he though that he was the only one that felt that way. He really was speechless on what to say now. “Ok Jo I will try not to feel that way for you, Its just it killed me when I lost you. Someone that I loved and cared about more then anyone was gone.”

She was also at a loss for words she then said "It killed me having to leave you..I didn't want to" She could feel those damn tears rising to the surface and it appeared that despite her best efforts they were going to break through. "It's the reason I have been such an idiot lately, I'm having trouble letting you go..I know you were never mine but part of me hoped that when I came back we could be together but I know how happy you are now and I don't wanna wreck it for you maybe us being here together isn't the best idea right now..maybe you should go Dean because to be honest I want more..I'll get over it I'll just need some time is all" She then reached for the bottle of Jack and took a deep swig. How could she have not seen this before? How could she not have seen this talk coming?
She just always thought that Dean had her in the friend zone and that's where she would always stay. It appeared that both of them were too chicken to tell the other how they felt, becuase if it didn't work out it woould kill them both. But then Jo died before they could test the theory out. When he kissed her before she died, she felt something but figured it was just the moment playing itself out. How stupid she felt now. All she had to do was tell him and she hesitated. Now it was much too late and she was left with Dean probably feeling awkward but she said it and it was out there, no taking it back now. She knew it wouldn't change anything between them. But she wanted it to. So badly. But she saw how happt Dean had been lately and it was because of Caroline. Not her. - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -It made Dean happy to hear that she didn’t want to leave him, he felt the same way not wanting to lose her. It killed Dean so bad having to say good bye like that, it was one of the worst days of Dean’s life. He could tell by the way Jo was talking it killed her to, it all made sense now to why she had been this way. It sounded like that when Jo died she wanted to be with Dean, but she wasn’t the only one. He wanted to be with her so badly it killed him, but every time he tired to get close it seemed like she pushed away which drove Dean nuts. He wanted to be her man and take care of her, he wondered if she felt that way why she didn’t act on it? Why she waited in that last moment to kiss him. The worst part of it all is even though she is back, its too late which Dean hated.
“No I’m not going to leave; and If you felt that way about me why did you ever act on it? You think all those times I flirted with you I was just playing around? No I cared for you and I wanted to be with you so badly. I didn’t care what Ellen or anyone thought, I wanted you for my girl. I mean we had so much in common with each other, I mean we love to hunt, and we both knew how to make each other laugh.” he said getting upset. He was trying not to get mad but it was hard knowing what he lost, he then wondered if he had made a mistake. “I’m sorry if I sound like I’m getting upset here, I just don’t get that if we wanted each other why we weren’t together then?” He asked again.
It hurt Dean for Jo knowing she felt this way, knowing that she couldn’t get him off her mind. It sounded a lot like someone else he knew. He got real close to Jo looking her in the eyes. “I’m sorry Jo I feel like I have really hurt you, and it hurts me knowing you feel this way. I’m so sorry.” He said taking her hand.

----------------------- [/size] -----------------------[/size] She took in a deep breath then held his hand. “It’s ok..must be the booze..making us emotional and whatnot” She said with a very brief chuckle. She really wanted to laugh right now and tell him that he never had to worry about her but she knew better. He always would, and she would do the same. It was just how they were. “The reason that I didn’t act on it was because I just thought you were flirting and only wanted a one time thing with me, I didn’t see it I guess but it doesn’t matter now it’s way too late” She then ran her finger over top of his. They never used to be this close..not close enough to actually touch. She liked it. It would be something she could get used to if the opportunity were there. She kissed his cheek then looked at him, back into those eyes of his. “It’s ok, really I’ll be fine Dean and thanks for being here..it does mean a lot to me”
She then took one more drink of the whiskey before setting the bottle down and deciding it was her last one. She was getting a really good buzz on and if she had any more, she would probably end up doing something really stupid like kissing him or.. well nevermind. “I’m sorry you know.. I didn’t wanna make things awkward or deep here..but I had to tell you give it one last try you know?” She asked with a brief smile. “I wish it could have been different for us, I want nothing more than to be yours but it’s not gonna happen now..and I need to face that” She was glad that even though nothing was gonna happen for them that she could finally tell him all she felt, then she could begin to move on with her life. -----------------------[/size][/center] |

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - That was the truth the booze was not helping there case at all, but the feelings that Dean was feeling for her was very much real. He has always very much cared for Jo and that will never change, the feelings he has for her will never fade. Even if she hated him he would still love her. “Yeah its not like me to get sad and emotional at all, I mean come on I don’t cry. That just isn’t my thing.” It was the truth Dean never showed or liked to show his emotions, he just didn’t like to see people how he felt not ever Sam really.
He didn’t mean for Jo to feel that way at all, with her it was so much more then that. He cared for the great sweet person that she was, it was never about getting into her pants. “Jo it was so much more then that, it was never about sleeping with you. I cared for you a lot more then you know. I mean come on I think your mom could ever tell that I did, she wasn’t happy about it but she knew.” He said smiling at her. It was the truth Ellen knew that he loved and cared for Jo, she just never really spoke of it. Maybe it was because of the hunting life that Dean led, she didn’t want Jo anymore into it then she all ready was. But that was her choice her life, something that she likes to do just like her dad. Something that her and Dean both had in common. He looked at the young hunter with a smile. “Jo I will always be here for you no matter what, don’t you forget that ok.” He looked her deep into her eyes making sure she knew how serous he really was, and that he would always be there.
He felt so bad and cared so much for Jo, this changed everything for Dean. Now he was having second thoughts about this, maybe he made the wrong choice being with Caroline. Now all he wanted was Jo, he so baldy right now just wanted to kiss her and hold her. But he knew he needed to play this cool. “Hey can I tell you something? You know all I can think about is the first kiss we had right before I lost you, and I really would like to reminded of how that felt again.” He went in placing his lips on hers, giving her the same sweet kiss he did in her last few moments he had her. By the way the kiss felt he knew right then and there, she was who he was meant to be with. He could leave and lose her again he just couldn’t, this was where he belonged.

----------------------- [/size] -----------------------[/size] As she sat there on the bar listening to Dean pour his heart out, she knew that neither of them were ones for gushy speeches but to her..this was the most heartfelt thing he had ever said to her but the fatc remained, he had a girlfriend. A much younger, much prettier girlfriend who would be that beautiful and that young forever. She would either age or die in battle, she knew this. As he told her that even her mom could see it, Jo knew that Dean hit that right on the nose. Ellen knew exactly how Jo felt about Dean and how Dean felt about her. That was one of the main reasons that she didn’t them together. She liked Dean but deep down Jo knew that the only reason her mom acted this way was to protect her daughter from harm, to shield her from the horrors of the world but instead Jo dove in.
It got them killed, but at least her mom was up in Heaven. That she knew. That gave her comfort.He then looked into her eyes and said that he would always be there for him. It made her smile briefly, this was starting to sound like a goodbye. She could feel the speech when he said, “Jo you know I will always care about you but my heart is with Caroline” At least that’s what she thought he’d say when he told her he had to tell her something. That all he could think about was the day she left him and the moment they had together, even though it was brief..it was the best moment of her life.Then he kissed her. Dean was kissing her. Her head and her heart were in combat right now, her head told her this wasn’t right and you know it Jo, but it seemed her heart won in the end, letting her give into the embrace from Dean she had wanted for so long. - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - Everything now had changed Dean had wanted this for so long to be back in Jo’s arms holding her and kissing her, He couldn’t lie to himself anymore. Being in her arms was where he belonged, it was his home where he felt safe. He has always loved Jo with all his heart, and finally he could show her that now that he knew she felt the same for him. Her lips were like pure heaven, if Dean didn’t know any better he would say she came back an angel with how felt. Everything was so perfect for them now.
Well not all that perfect, there was still that little thing that Dean would have to do. He would need to tell Caroline they weren’t going to work out, which Dean felt horrible about but really they weren’t going to work anyway. Caroline after all is a vampire which means she wouldn’t age, and Dean all ready seemed like an old man to her. So how is she going to feel in ten years when Dean looks old enough to be her dad? Which proves they would never would work. All this time Dean has been lying to himself, the feeling he had for Jo were surfacing. Which was why he was hesitant to come here in the first place, he knew this would happen. But he was happy it did, he finally knows now how Jo feels for him after so long.
He let up from kissing her while still looking deep into her eyes, he couldn’t believe it being here in this moment with her. He felt like a kid on a first date, who had butter flies floating in there stomach. “You know I knew I felt something for you, from that first moment you aimed your gun at me.” He said giggling a bit. “Jo I’m going to be straight here with you, I have always loved you and wanted to be yours. I’m just sorry that when you came back I was with someone, I mean I didn’t know you were coming back.” He then placed his hand on her cheek still looking deep into her eyes. “If you would have came back sooner and told me how you felt, I never would have been with Caroline. I’m so sorry that you have had to see me with her, I didn’t mean to hurt you. I hope you know that and can forgive me.” It was true Jo was all he ever wanted, she is a strong woman who can handle the hunting life just like him. Plus she knew all about Dean’s past, so he felt that he could talk to her about anything. He didn’t have to hide who he was from her.
He went in kissing her once more, he still couldn’t getting enough of her and didn’t want to stop. He could hold her and be with her like this all night. But He knew that she needed to let her catch her breath at some point, plus he knew that he might be going a little fast of her. He let up from kissing her sweet lips again, but this time he had a bit of a smile on his face with something on his mind. “You know the only problem here is I might have one pissed off vamp after me, I might need your help making sure she don’t get kill me. Think you can do that?” He said laughing

----------------------- [/size] -----------------------[/size] After all of this time and everything that they had been through together it seemed that for the first time in her life, things were starting to fall into place.Jo had never been this happy in her entire life, she was with Dean and now he wanted to be hers.He was even planning on ending things with Caroline to be with her. When Jo had seen them together, it appeared that they were happy together. Jo felt a bit sad that Caroline was going to be dumped by Dean but there was also a huge part of her that was happy that now Dean and her could finally be together liked she had always wanted. She dreamt of this moment and it was great. He apologized to her about Caroline and everything and she placed her finger on his lip between kisses then said “Hey, you had no idea I was going to come back so you don`t need to be sorry for wanting to be happy Dean I understand” He then went in to kiss her again amnd it was great, she moved her lips against his with a hunger for him that had been pent up for years. Since the first moment she met him, she knew that her life would never be the same. She just never imagined that after all of this time that she could have a happy ending.
During their momentary breaks from kissing one another, he asked her if she would protect him from Caroline should she come looking for him. He chuckled then said “I`m on it” Then kissed him again and this time she ran her fingers through his hair then he hands moved down to his jacket and started to slide the sleeves down. Thank god she had rooms for rent in the back that were unoccupied. But wait, did he want to do this until after he broke up with Caroline, it didn`t seem that way.It seemed like right now they both wanted the same thing. She asked him between breaths, “Are you staying here tonight?” Jo was never one to sugarcoat things, she thought it would just be best to be out with it. If he wasn't going to stay, making out was certainly a good start -----------------------[/size][/center] Notes: I know they are so sweet! <33 |

- - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - She had wanted to know if Dean was staying there that night, but as much as he wanted to he couldn’t. He had a case that night that he needed to take care of, plus Dean was so lost and confused he didn’t know what he was going to do. He didn’t want anything else to happen here with Jo while he was with someone, it wasn’t right. It was the truth though Caroline didn’t need to be with old man like Dean, she needed to be with her kind. On top of that what Dean has wanted this for so long. Jo really did care and want to be with him, which is what Dean has been wanting as long as he could remember. But he still needed to think about this, it really was hard with the feeling he had for Care. “No I don’t think I can stay I have a hunting job tonight have to look into, but I will be back tomorrow to see you ok. First thing in the morning I promise.” Dean when in for a hug and was on his way.
He got into his Impala and was on his way to the job, and it was only a few minutes that his cell was buzzing. It was a text from Caroline, it seemed as though she wanted to go on a job. Which was not happing in the lest, but it seemed like she wasn’t going to take no for answer. She started sending pictures of other guys she had been with, which Dean wasn’t liking at all in the lest. It actually was pretty childish. But that’s what she was a young girl who disserved to be that way. Dean knew that he needed to get over there so they could talk. He needed to figured out what he was doing with all this. Find out how she really felt for him.
