Madison Mackenzey Compassion Saxon sat around her house, completely bored. She was done studying for school, and doing everything that she had to before her cousins came back. She had her ipod on as she laid down on her bed and stared at her ceiling that was newly painted a reddish orange color. She had finally finished painting it, one wall had a huge painting of Gotham City and Batman, then on another wall some beatles things and then on another there was the TARDIS and the Delorean. She sat up on her bed and decided that she needed to go out.

Maddie changed into her back to the future t-shirt, her pale blue jeans and put on her black leather jacket on over the t-shirt. She also put on her batman converse and her tan, brown, blue red and yellow scarf. Maddie grabbed her phone, and her sketch book and she put on her jewellery. Maddie then grabbed the keys to her motorcycle and the house and she walked out of her room, down the hall and out of the front door, making sure that she locked it behind her. Maddie then walked over to the harley Davidson Motorcycle in the driveway and she got on then drove it off and down the street.

Maddie had arrived at the Slayer boarding house, the one that wasn’t very hard to find. The house was rather large, nice looking. Maddie just wondered if Willow was here. She knew that something was troubling the witch and she wanted to help because what good is a prophet who sees them who cant help them in anyway. She parked the bike off to the side, just in case. She put her helmet down on the seat and she got the nerve up to go to the front door. Maddie wondered if knocking would do it of if she had to ring the door bell. she really didn’t want to talk to anyone other than Willow right now and to have someone else open the door, would make Maddie a little uncomfortable. She wasn’t really one to push herself to meet new people.

Maddie then rang the door bell anyway and knew that if someone else had answered then she would just have to deal and be uncomfortable. Maddie turned away from the door and faced the street and waited for the door to open.

Willow grabbed each dish out of the sink loading each one into the dishwasher one by one, she made sure to keep everything in order. She had a big petpevee about making sure every cup was together, as well as the plates and bowls. Dawn just threw everything in there like she didn’t care, Buffy did care but most of the time with the Slaying she was really to busy for any chores. But Willow didn’t mind she really needed something to keep her mind busy theses days, especially with Tara gone now.

Tara had left and gone back to L.A. to take care of some more work that she had going on there, and every moment with her gone is killing Willow. Time feels like it just stuck and not moving. How she wishes she was here with her, she all ready hadn’t been back that her with her that long which made it ever harder for Willow. But she wont been gone forever she will be back, its just she doesn’t want to have to wait for her. Its going to feel like eternity that is never ending, but forTara she would wait forever.

Then as Willow was doing the dishes there was a knock at the door. “Well who could that be?” She started to make her way out the kitchen and pass the living area to the door, when she looked out the peep hole all she could see was a red headed girl. “Maddie!” She yelled out opening the door really fast. “Hey how you been? What brings you to my neck of the woods, and please come in!” She was so happy to see her, Willow could now fill her in on all that had been going on. But sadly she probably didn’t need to, with seeing everything Buffy does she all ready must know all the details. So then she wonder what was up and why she was there, hopefully not for anything bad.

Madison Mackenzey Compassion Saxon stood by the door waiting for someone to answer it. She wasn't in a rush at all, just waiting for Willow, that is if the young witch was even at the house. Maddie just came to the conclusions that she needed to get her number as well as Buffy's and others. Maddie started tapping her foot, not as a sign of being impatient but to the song that had been going through her head. She had closed her eyes for a moment and felt the sun on her face. She opened them once more and heard some movement inside the slayer boarding house.

Maddie turned around when she saw the door being opened by the young red haired witch named Willow Rosenberg. 

"hey Willow! I'm doing well, thank you, how about you, wait you don't have to answer that because I know what I am going to get." Maddie said being completely straight foreword with Willow as to why she was here.

Willow had invited Maddie in and she stepped inside the boarding house. Maddie looked around. It was much larger in person than in her dreams. Maddie looked back to Willow and smiled to her waiting for. The witch to say something. Maddie then let out a sigh. 

"sorry if I came on strong, but I'm worried about you. I see how you act in my visions, and unlike your friends I read between the lines. So, what's up?" Maddie asked Willow seriously.

Willow really was happy to see Maddie, especially after everything that had been going on right now. First with Angelus and then Tara laving back to L.A., things really were a crazy mess right now. So a friend to talk to was just what she needed, and she was the best person to talk to. Willow didn’t know why but she just felt like she could really tell Maddie anything, she was just real easy and sweet person to talk to. Plus it did help that she already knew what was eating Willow, it really made it a lot easier to talk about to were she could understand.

“Its ok you didn’t come on to strong, and you are right things have been going on with me and they really have had me stressed out. It been crazy here lastly at the boarding house, it started with Angel losing his soul and when that happens its all hell breaks lose and I have to find away to get it back. Which I did but its not easy its takes a lot out of me every time, I have to though he is so dangerous it’s the only way to keep everyone safe. But the big thing was Tara leaving me.” Willow then had her head down trying not to cry, but whenever she isn’t around its like she is lost and cant breath. She knew that it had to be from her not being back from the dead for very long, that really didn’t make it easy for Willow it always had her worried. She so much would love to be there with her but she really was needed there with the rest of the gang now, things were to hectic not to be.

“I wish so much that she was here with me, it kills me not to know if she is safe or not.” Then an idea came to witch. “You know Maddie you see things is there anyway you can let me know if she gets into treble?” she asked with excitement in her voice.

Madison Mackenzey Compassion Saxon smiled to Willow when she said that she didn’t come on strong. That was a good thing to hear. Usually the prophet was straight to the point and everything. She knew that sometimes it wasn’t a good thing at all. Maddie nodded when Willow was describing what was going on. She knew exactly what had happened in the past week or so and she hoped that it will all play out, actually that was one thing Gabriel had always taught her, something he said after Buffy had died for a second time and the visions stopped for a few days. He had told her that everything always plays out for the better and not to be caught up in all the despair. He told her not to feel for them, not to share their emotions. She knew why. It tore her up. She had done it once and she knew that it was probably going to be impossible now to keep her distance since she knew most of them now.


‘yeah, I saw all of that, and was surprised. The whole Angel thing.” Maddie said to Willow, with a sigh. She then looked at Willow and smiled.

The ginger prophet looked at the ginger witch and tilted her head to the side, trying to catch Willow’s face while she was looking down. Maddie felt for her, she really did. She knew loss. She feels it now with Gabriel gone. Maddie then stepped closer to Willow and hugged her. “its ok. Tara comes back, trust me.” Maddie said, knowing that she probably shouldn’t have said that but she did anyway. She really didn’t care. She got that way, since Raphael had kidnapped her and stabbed her.

“yeah, she is safe. Gabriel told me. I talked to him in my dreams, or I think it was him and told him about you and Tara and he went to check up on her. She is fine.” Maddie smiled once more, wondering if that changes her tone of voice because Willow wasn’t able to see it since Maddie still had her in a hug. She let go of Willow still smiling at her new friend. “yeah, I can talk to Gabriel, if its really Gabriel.I think it is, it feels like him.” Maddie said thinking about it now. She wasn’t sure if it was the angels still playing tricks on her or actually him. They needed a safe word thing, something that tells them that its each other.

She was so scared of what might come of Tara with her gone, she didn’t know how safe she was going to be gone. Willow was so worried of her getting hurt, L.A. was not a safe place to be, it did get taken over by hell in all. So not really the best place to be, but how safe was it really to be with gang all the time. It seemed they were always doing something dangerous, there job was never safe nor easy. So maybe it was safer her not being with them after all.

Maddie then begin to hold Willow which made her feel a lot better then she had in a long time, she really needed this a friend being there when she really needed someone. It seemed like Willow was there for everyone else witch she didn’t mind, but it was really nice to have someone Holding her for once. Having someone to be there to talk to when she really needed it. She was happy to have her hear that Tara was going to come back, it made Willow feel a whole lot better. “She does come back safe then.? You can see that” She said with tears in her eyes and voice braking up. “That makes me feel so much better you told me that, thank you so much Maddie thank you.” She held her tight from how happy she was, it was such a great feeling to know someone was there for her.

Willow was happy to hear that even Gabriel cared, she wonder how that Angel was doing she had not seen him in a long while. “Really Gabe came to you huh, well you will have to thank him for me next time you see him. So how is that Angel doing anyway.” It was still a shock to say that, it was a bit strange that they had Angels for friends. But she was getting use to it. “You know that is wild that he is in your dreams, but that sounds like something he would do so I’m sure its him.”

Madison Mackenzey Compassion Saxon smiled kindly at Willow. She could tell that the witch was really scared, nervous and hurt. That really meant that Willow loved Tara. It was cute. Maddie was glad that the two really loved each other as much as they do. She always liked them together in her dreams. Part of her wished that she wrote instead of painted. She would have loved to write a book dedicated to Willow and Tara, about their relationship, kind of like a romance thing. She did that in her drawings though. That and she really hoped that Willow would love the one that she made for her. She would wait to give it to her, since right now she was trying to cheer Willow up.

Back at the house, she had a painting of two silhouette figures, being able to tell that one was Tara and the other was Willow. They were holding hands facing each other. The sky was darkening, a sunset. Above the sunset was a night sky that Maddie was painting a few shooting stars. Her cousin really liked it. Maddie nodded in response that she could see Tara coming back safe and smiled as Willow thanked her. She was happy that she could help a little bit but she knew that the only thing that would really make the witch happy is if Tara was here.

Maddie looked back at her when she asked how Gabriel was doing. Maddie shrugged. “I don’t really know. Havent seen him in person. He hasn’t told me anything, which is for the best I guess.” Maddie said to her. She listened to her comment about him being in her dreams. “yeah angels do that. that’s how they communicate sometimes. Its more private and everything.” Maddie then stated with a small sigh. She really wanted to see him in person though.

Willow was so happy that she wasn’t alone right now, she missed Tara so much to the point that she didn’t even know if she could take being a alone. She would just do what she always would do, practice her spells alone. Even thought Willow knew that it wouldn’t help, doing magic made her think of Tara seeing how they worked on there spells together most of the time. Heck if it wasn’t for Tara she would be as into or as good with magic as she is now. She owes it all to her girl.

She just hoped that nothing would happened to them being split up like this, she knew that Tara really did like her Job down there. But again this was just Willow freaking out again as always for nothing, she knew that her girl would miss her just like she misses her right now. They loved each other way to much for her not to. But one thing that Willow was happy about was, she would be safe from all of the Slaying drama, something good that did come out of this. All thought Sadly she has learned better then anyone that no were is safe.

Willow really didn’t know why after all this time she hadn’t seen him, she really hoped that Gabriel was ok. “Yeah I guess its for the best but aren’t you kind of worried about whether or not he is ok. I would be worried sick if I haven’t seen him.” Willow herself was actually kind of worried about him, even though she really didn’t know him. It was strange how Angels communicated in dreams, she though it was kind of neat. It reminded her of the time she went inside of Buffy’s mind trying to help her, it was a pretty cool experience. “So when was the last time he tired to communicate in your dreams at all?”

Madison Mackenzey Compassion Saxon looked at Willow and smiled lightly. She wanted to be here for her friend, she just hoped that Willow would be alright. Willow was a strong young woman so Madison knew she would be. Madison, from her dreams knew how much Willow loved Tara. It was nice to see something really good out of the bad that she sees Buffy and her friends going through all the time.

She had stuff in common with them though. Maddie herself had her own dark problems dealing with her father who is a demon and the missing in action Gabriel who put his life on the line for her and Dean. Maddie needed to talk to Dean again. Maybe he knew if Gabriel was okay, or where the youngest archangel was. She also needed to see him again. It had been a while and she wondered how he was doing.

Maddie looked back at the red haired witch and she smiled and nodded. “I’m sure he’s okay. He isnt as stupid as a lot of people think he is. Sure, he is crazy but he isnt stupid.” Maddie replied to Willow with a small shrug. She then added “I’m sort of worried, but not that much. Its him in my dreams and if he seems ok there then I guess he’s ok.” Maddie gave another shrug. She then looked down at her feet. In all reality she didn’t know if he was ok but she hoped so. “a while ago. He must be busy.” Maddie said to her.

~~~~~~~~~~~That was true Gabe wasn’t stupid at all, Willow got that in just the few moments that she talked to him. But yes he was crazy that was for sure. Willow could tell that she really was worried for him, so she then got real close to her again putting her hand on Maddie’s shoulder. “Don’t worry I’m sure that he is ok, soon enough again you will see him for real. But I know one thing he would want, and that is not to worry about him.” The witch said giving her a smile.

Willow was starting to feel a lot better, the tears were starting to dry up. She was cheering up now that she was getting to talk to Maddie, she always found away to make her feel better no matter what. If Tara never would have come back and Willow had to be with another, she would her girl to be just like Maddie. Beautiful, Sweet, kind, yet smart and spontaneous. She would make for a great girl friend. But then Willow wondered why didn’t Maddie have a man in her life, or did she kind of have something going on with Gabe? But She really didn’t know how to come out and ask her. “So Maddie can I ask you something? How does someone has sweet as you not have a boyfriend?”

After she asked that Willow begin to make her way into the kitchen signaling Maddie to follow her, she had decided to make them both some tea and cookies while they talked girl.

Maddie smiled as Willow started to look better. That was wonderful that she could help her. Honestly, Maddie wished she could bring Tara back here for Willow, but she knew that Tara would never leave like that. Then something unexpected came up. Maddie looked at Willow curiously when she asked about not having a boyfriend. Maddie thought a moment. She needed to find a good way to put this into words. “I have never really been close to anyone, first off. I just don’t have the life for it. I’m too caught up in everyone’s messes, and being a prophet and my own problems. I guess getting close to people in my world is a easy ticket to get hurt or killed or both.” Maddie responded to Willow truthfully. She really wished that she had a better answer for Willow but in all honesty she didn’t.

It seemed like there was always something going on in the Scooby’s life one way or another. Ether something is going on with Dawn, or Willow’s crazy ex girlfriends are trying to kill them all, but for the most part now all they really have to worry about is what vampire was after them this week. Which wasn’t great but it was a lot better then something else on there case.

“Well I’m happy that you feel some sort of pieces right now, just know though if you ever need anything at all I’m always here for you.” She said to the prophet with a smile. It was the truth though, Willow would always be there for Maddie whenever she needs a friend. Just like how she has been there for her.

She couldn’t really couldn’t believe that Maddie has never really been with anyone, and it made Willow fell bad that she felt like she could ether hurt or get someone killed if they were with her. She didn’t like that she felt that why, being a prophet was really hard on her. Willow realizes that now more now then ever, it kind of hurts her knowing that’s how she feels. She wished there was something she could either do or say that could not make her not feel that way. “I’m sorry Maddie I had no idea you felt that way, I don’t even know what to say.” Willow was lost on what to say knowing that she felt pain like that. “well again know that I’m here for you.” She said while placing her hand on top of hers.

Willow was mad at herself, for ever even bring something this deep up, she felt like she really had upset poor Maddie. So She wanted to try and change the subject to cheer up Maddie a bit, she didn’t want her leaving there with sad thoughts. “So other then all this is there anything else new going on with you?” The curious witch asked.

Madison Mackenzey Compassion Saxon looked over at Willow. She smiled to her when she said that when ever she needed everything that she was always there for her. Maddie never really had a friend to say that before. She knew that this was a good thing and maybe she would actually be able to stay here and keep her friends. She also knew that she wouldn’t have to worry because Willow and the rest of the Scooby gang could take care of themselves.

Maddie looked at Willow. She wondered what Willow thought of her when she said that she had never been with someone before. She knew that she would get weird looks from any normal college kid if she said that to them. By college someone should have had tons of boyfriends or girlfriends. Maddie just wasn’t really into the whole dating scene. She would much rather paint or do something else than bother with a relationship. “no, don’t be sorry. Its not really my thing anyway. Relationships seem like a lot of work that I just don’t have the time for.” Maddie replied to Willow, reassuring the witch.

Willow then went on and asked if there was anything else going on with her. “no not really.” Maddie replied, not mentioning Spike staying the night, knowing that the relationship between him and the gang wasn’t very good right now. “what about you? Besides the whole Tara being gone thing?” Maddie asked the ginger witch curiously. Maddie gave Willow a soft smile as she waited for a response.

It was true though relationships were a lot of work epically with men, it seemed like whenever Willow was with Oz something drama was always going on with them or someone was hurt. But even being with Tara it has its ups and downs, but most of them sadly were caused by Willow. But they have fixed all of that now, Willow has cooled it on the magic and tries to be more honest with Tara, Something she should have done from the very beginning. But now they have a second chance together thanks to the powers that be, so now she has a chance to make all that up to her and make it right. “But yeah that’s the truth they can be a handful, you are smart staying single.” She said to her with a smile.

She had asked what else new was going on with Willow and really nothing really had been going on, just that she was lonely missing her baby. The gang really didn’t have to much going on ether, just the same old slaying work. Well that was not at all true, Willow actually had just had a run in with her Ex and still don’t know how to go about it. She didn’t know what she was going to do or if she should tell Tara, Because by what she was feeling off of Oz she could tell he still very much cared for her.

“Well actually now that you mention it something new is going on, and I don’t really know how to go about it. Lets just say that my ex Oz is in town, and I use to really be in love with him. I cant help but have this feeling that he might still care for me, but its hard to tell because he was always so damn hard to read. Which is why I’m so done with men that reason right there.” The witch said with a giggle.

Madison Mackenzey Compassion Saxon looked at Willow and she nodded and chuckled. She shook her head and she then replied “really? They seem like they can but angels are worse. Try taking care of Gabriel for a day and let me know if you would rather be in a relationship or not. I really want to know what is worse and what comes with more work. I am really curious about it.” Madison laughed as she shook her head at her friend. It was true, everything seemed like a walk in the park rather than being friends with the youngest archangel and taking care of him.

Madison looked back at Willow when there was a small amount of silence around them. She understood what Willow was feeling. She knew that Tara was probably the only one that she was thinking about and that made Maddie more and more empathetic. She felt really bad for her fellow ginger and really wanted to help her. Maybe both of them could take a trip to Los Angeles to see Tara, even though Maddie and Tara didn’t really know each other that well at all.

Willow then went on and started talking. She went on and talked about her ex boyfriend, Oz, whom Maddie knew from her dreams. She nodded as she continued to listen to Willow talk about him. She then said that it was hard reading him which was why she is done with men. “yeah, try reading and predicting Gabriel. That’s the worse.” Maddie replied to her and laughed. She then added “I really don’t know what to tell you about that, but I know a bit about Oz, that he is a were wolf and all and I know you guys used to be really, really close. I don’t know what to say except listen to what your gut is telling you. Usually your gut is never wrong…” Maddie gave her a light shrug.
