She laughed at her sister slayer’s question, knowing that it wasn’t her trying to be rude or anything, it was just simply the way that she was. “Honestly, it’s not without its pains so to speak.” She told her honestly. “I don’t know what he does, because I’m not going to lie to you and say that it hasn’t been difficult nor have there not been any close calls.” She told her, emphasizing the ‘you’ on that statement, letting her know that if it had been anyone else that she would have said that they kept their distance. For some reason even though she and Faith often disagreed on things, she knew that she could trust her sister with this.
“Heavy make out sessions always end with a date with me, a cold shower, or me and my removable shower head.” She stated bluntly, knowing there was no use beating around the bush with the brunette slayer. If she didn’t say it bluntly, then Faith would by asking for clarification. “I don’t know what he does, probably a good idea I don’t or else I’d be tempted to join him in whatever it was that he did, whether it be a cold shower or going and kicking a few hundred vampires asses.” She stated with a laugh, remembering Faith’s comments about slaying making her hungry and horny.
Snorting at Faith's statement about being wanted she shook her head. "Thank god you haven't been caught yet...I am not sure what I would do without someone to rant too. Willow and Xander are great but they don't get it the way that you do. They don't have a bunch of girls looking at them to teach them how to stay alive like we do. Also it's not like I can send them in one day when I don't feel well or just want to not have to deal with everyone for one day. So thank you for not getting your ass caught." She stated, not wanting to get all emotional and say that she was glad that her sister slayer was around, but still wanting her to know that she appreciated her being there.
Glaring at the brunette because of the ski ball nose comment but didn't respond, keeping her comments about her nose to herself. She knew that she was acting like a baby but still, that shit fucking hurt. She wouldn't make any more comments on her broken nose, knowing that there was very little she could do about it until she reset it. She thought about saying screw it and leaving so that Angel or Giles could reset it for her...but declined the thought, instead taking her hand, wincing for a moment and popping it back into place, biting her lip so hard that it bled while Faith rambled on about not wanting to date.
"You're not damaged goods." She told her honestly, her lip still bleeding a bit from where she had bit down on it. "You've just had a bunch of shit happen to you and have had a bad turn in life at times. However you're an alright person." She stated with a wink, letting her know that she was just joking. Honestly Buffy admired Faith, though she would never admit it out loud. She had gone through hell and back and yet was still here, fighting the good fight, and having fun while doing it. The blonde didn't want to be Faith, but she was glad, proud, and a bit envious that she could bounce back like she had.
She thought for a moment about pushing the subject but refrained, knowing that her saying nothing was answer enough. "Guess I'll just have to wait and see when it comes time for it...because you know one day you'll have to make that choice. I have...many times." She told her, her voice warning but her smile sincere.
Hearing her cell phone beep she looked down and saw that it was Willow with a text message saying to come home. “We gotta book. Or at least I do. Willow apparently is having a crisis of some sort with a couple girls and my presence is requested.” She stated before grabbing her arm and dragging her with her. “Let’s go…you’re not leaving me by myself with these crazy girls.” She stated with a laugh, giving absolutely no room to argue.
