---------------------- ---------------------- Jeremy was walking alone after school listing to his Ipod, he had a pretty good day at school. But he still feel like going home just yet, he didn’t feel like listing to any of the sad stuff going on. Even though he does feel for Elena, it been hard for her with out Stefan for her. And Jeremy hope and knows that she will find him. Even though he does feel for Elena, it been hard for her with out Stefan. Jeremy hope and knows that soon they will find him, its juts going to take them some time.
Then as Jeremy was walking, he thought about maybe going to the a coffee shop to draw for a bit. It was better then going home and a good way to kill boredom. So still jamming his Ipod he started walking to the Coffee shop, he needed a rest and to get he was getting tired of carrying this heavy back pack on his back. Plus he had some homework he needed to do, it might be a good idea to work on it there to.
Jeremy had made to the coffee shop and headed in, he opened up the glass door to walk in. When he walked in the place it was dead along with silence, which was good he could draw and get some homework done. He walk over to a table in the coffee shop and sat down He sat down his back pack pulled out his home work and art book, he hope to get some of it done before he could draw. Hopefully he will be able to with no interruptions, but with Jeremy crazy life there is no Guarantee there.

Tucked in the corner of the coffee cafe that was closest to her motel, teal men's coat swung across the back of the chair, its tails brushing against the linoleum. Her leather bag was tucked under it, the weathered leather barely peaking out from underneath the brocade. The heels of her leather and riveted Mary Janes were hooked onto the little bar under the chair. She was bent over her little leather bound notebook, sketching out her designs for her next outfit.
The need for some downtime after everything that had been happening lately was nearly overwhelming. While her talk with Mr. Giles had gone a lot better then her previous talk had gone with Buffy. But still, she still felt a little apprehensive about the whole thing. That was why she was curled up in the corner of a cafe with a cup of caramel coffee she really couldn't afford. It seemed like everything was happening at once all of a sudden and it left her stomach in knots. All of the stress was choking off all of her creativity, Nora laid her pencil back down in the binding of her journal.
After a few minutes she leaned her head back against the wall behind her, dark hair hanging down starkly against the light painted wall. She was sitting sideways in the chair so that she was protected on three sides, but still had plenty of room to be able to get up and move in case of an emergency. She heaved a huge sigh and gently started bumping her head against the wall, not hard enough to actually look like she was hurting herself, but she was obviously distressed. Violet eyes eased back open as she surveyed the room around her, she noticed a cute brunette boy who'd just wandered in and was pulling out his own sketchpad and what looked like school books. She gave him a smile, hoping to catch his eye.

---------------------- ---------------------- Jeremy listened to his Ipod while trying to work on some of his math home work, even though he really didn’t want to work on it he would much rather be drawing something. But at the same time he really didn’t need another bad grade ether, not only would that suck for him but it would not make Elena very happy. Right now with everything going on in her life she didn’t need that on top of everything, she had enough drama going on for her as is with Stefan.
Jeremy continued on working on his home work enjoying the quite, he had to get done. It was due tomorrow and he didn’t have anything on there somewhat even close to being done. He had to get this done so he could study for a test he had, he was never going to get all this done. He doesn’t even know why he bothered to bring his sketchpad, it not like he was going to have time to draw anytime soon. Nice wish. He looked up at the clock seeing what time it was, he didn’t even think he was going to be able to have dinner with Elena tonight he had to much to do. He knew he should text her letting her know.
So he started to shoot a text to his sister and when he did, he looked over to find a pretty girl starring at him. He couldn’t help but smile back at her. It wasn’t like Jeremy was with anyone right now, him and Bonnie weren’t really talking because of all his ghost talking. She really wasn’t talking it well that he was seeing his ex girlfriend, but he couldn’t help it he didn’t want to see them they were just there at times.
It looked as though she needed help with her work, plus having a home work Buddy would be nice. So he picked up his books and begin to make his way over to her. He made it to the table giving her a big smile. “Hey it looks like you might need some study help? I can I sit and maybe help you out?” He asked the young girl.

It didn't take long for the brunette to notice her over the screen of his cell phone, but Nora hadn't expected him to just stand right up, collect his things and walk right over. The thought made her smile, she hadn't really felt right flirting with anyone since she'd gotten to America, sort of a little distracted just trying to survive. But the fact that he hadn't even hesitated made her very happy; here in the U.S. The sub-cultures that some people were more inclined with weren't met with much open mindedness. In answer of his being so bold she returned it by sliding the chair beside her out in an invitation. This was a bold move, she'd be trapping herself in and giving herself no way out should he turn out to be less then savorable, but Nora had a good feeling about this boy.
Sliding over a few of her things, making sure he had enough room to put down his books, Nora smiled up at him with bright purple eyes. It was obvious by the way that she held herself that she didn't even realize just how much skin there was showing because of her outfit, the lace barely left anything around her shoulders to the imagination and the corset accentuated the thin strip of jersey that kept her actually decent.
“Hey, yeah I'm not really working on school work but I wouldn't mind the company.” She shifted the notebook to show him the sketch of the dress that she was working on, a very generic prom dress that made her want to plunge her pencil straight into her eye. “Please sit down, I'm N-ikki.” Her real name had almost rolled right off of her tongue, but she remembered at the last second. She needed to be careful, she didn't want to lie to the cute boy but she really couldn't afford to get caught. “So what are you working on?”

---------------------- ---------------------- Jeremy didn’t know what it was but he was really interested in getting to know this girl, there was just something about her. Well for one thing the way she dressed really had him curious, she really was different with the way she looked. He could tell that she obviously wasn’t from around here, he almost was starting to wonder if she was a vampire. Just by how much her outfit seemed, kind of like something they would wear back in the olden days. Jeremy just knows that from all the pictures he has seen in the Gilbert family journal, a lot of woman dressed that way. He liked it he thought this girl seemed very cool, lets just hope if she is a Vampire she’s a nice one.
Jeremy had sat down with her setting down his books, the books that he needed to get working on even though he really didn’t want to. He would much rather be drawing something or doing something else for that matter. The arcade game in the corner of the restaurant looked a whole lot more fun, even though he had beaten that game over a hundred times. He would come here many times when he would skip school, better to come her then get caught for not being there.
When he looked over he could see what she was working on, and by the looks of it he could tell that she liked to draw as much as he did. “Wow you do that? I got to tell ya that is really good. I myself I love to draw.” The girl did seem shy just by the way she told him her name. “Nicky is that what you said, I’m Jeremy by way nice to meet you.” He said putting out his hand to shake hers.
She asked what he been working which was suppose to be school, which he really had not worked much on. “Well I’m working on school, but I would much rather be working on this.” He said while pulling out his sketch pad, showing her the neat picture he had started to draw of a Vampire. “Well what you think? good or bad?" He asked waiting to see what she say.

The hellbeast lifted it's nose up into the air to take in all of the scents. It had just bounded out of the woods and was now in an alleyway somewhere. It'd first run through the streets of the downtown area, scurrying past people before they realized what they were seeing. Some people thought it was a dog or a cat or something but nope. It was a demon, called the hellbeast for a reason. Even it wasn't even sure how it'd gotten all the way downtown but it was glad it was here.
As it sniffed the air it took in all of the glorious scents around it. The beast's stomach began to growl as it made it's way down the alley. Hearing muffled noises within a building, it's ears perked up as it listened. It's red hair blew in the wind as it's head stood erect, a silent hunter. Turning around the building it turned it's head to the sound of the noises, seeing all the delicious snacks inside of the building. Spotting a tasty looking couple of snacks towards the front of the building, it abruptly burst through the front window.
Bounding on top of the table in front of a male human, it leapt onto the brunette's boy and took him to the floor. Howling noises pierced the air and the cafe soon turned into a frenzy of people screaming, running, and leaving others behind. Note: Please do not attempt to godmod for the Chaos Account. “Most of the time I don’t draw so much, I usually prefer to work with fabrics; sewing, embroidery, leather work, dyeing, but sometimes I need to sketch out what I’m planning on doing if it needs to come out a certain way.” She said truthfully, if she could get away with saying as much of the truth as she could it helped with her guilt about lying about who she was in the first place. After all ‘Nikki’ wasn’t much different than herself, only ‘Nikki’ wasn’t on the run, ‘Nikki’ didn’t remember what it felt like to have someone’s sternum crack completely under her foot, didn’t remember the sickening crack of a mostly limp body slamming into the drywall and fracturing it, ‘Nikki’ could be completely honest when she flirted with boys because ‘Nikki’ had nothing to hide. “It’s nice to meet you, Jeremy.” Nora smiled when she took his hand, making careful sure that she didn’t squeeze too hard as to hurt his hand.
“Ooo rebel,” she joked when he told her that he was supposed to be working on his schoolwork and she leaned over to get a proper look of his drawing. He was good; the skill was obvious as was the passion for his craft. The subject matter made Nora almost a little sad, was he a closet goth or just one of those guys who bloodsucking got their motors running? Either way Nora wasn’t one to judge, it was still beautiful art and she just hoped that he wasn’t going to wind up getting himself hurt because of his art.
She opened her mouth to start to give him her opinion, just as the front window of the café exploded like a bomb. Her first instinct was to grab Jeremy and try to duck him under the table with her, only the thing that had broken the window leapt straight onto Jeremy’s chest. She’d never seen anything like this demon before, because that had to be what it was. It almost looked a little like some breeds of werewolf, but then of course it was red and green, real freaking festive. As she ran through her mental rolodex of demonology, Nora left her seat in a flash and aimed a kick, heel first, in between its ribs, aiming to break a few ribs as she kicked it right off of Jeremy.
“This would actually be bad.” She set herself up between it and Jeremy, hoping that he'd at least get out of the way, "Jeremy, find me a weapon!" She cried as she grabbed a hold of it's large pointy ears and guided it's head forward so she could knee it in the face.

---------------------- ---------------------- This girl for some reason really caught Jeremy’s interest, he liked how she was into making things and art. It sound like she was pretty good at it, Jeremy was pretty good in art but he wasn’t the best in making clothes or anything like that. All though he has never really tired to, back in the day on Halloween his mom use to make him all his costumes for him. So he had never really tried to make anything out of Fabrics. “Wow that sounds pretty cool, maybe I should have you make me something sometime.” He said giving her a smile. “I could be one of the first wearing one of your original outfits.”
She seemed like such a sweet girl but there was just something about her that she wasn’t telling him. Almost like she was keeping something from him, he could tell that when he had shaken her hand. He hadn’t really seen her around this town before so he knew that she had to be new around here, it then made him wonder if she knew about this town at all. Richmond wasn’t exactly a safe happy place to visiting with its vamp problem and all, but to Jeremy sadly it still was home.
Then all the sudden right in the middle of there conversation, Something had busted right threw café windows. It had made its way right over to them landing right on the table, there it was looking right at Jeremy. His heart sunk not even knowing what to do. He looked over a Nikki making sure she was safe. She had quickly put herself between the monster and him, almost like she had dealt with this before. She had asked him to get her a weapon, Jeremy didn’t play around he quickly gabbed a stake out of his backpack.“Here use this to stake its ass.” She had to know by now that Jeremy was use to taking on the Supernatural, but again you have to know what you are doing living in a town like this.

As it landed on the boy the demon began to flail a bit. Before it had the chance to do any real damage it was kicked off the boy and fell to the ground. It growled in outrage and snapped it's head back to look at the girl. Getting back on it's feet quickly it's ears were then grabbed by the female. Before she could do anything with the demon though it pushed forward. Out of her grasp and sort of sunk down to avoid the incoming attack. Once it had past, it stood tall on all fours again and brought one of it's paws to smash into her side. Not only did it wack her to the side, but it scratched her along the hip as it did so. A hellbeast wasn't the same as a werewolf so luckily for her, she would not be growing any fur due to the scratches any time soon.
Now with the female out of the way, the thing hounded right past the two attackers. It pounced on an older woman who hadn't made it out of the cafe fast enough. As the beast took her down he placed his entire body on top of her, pinning to the ground. Both front paws began slashing and tearing at her flesh. As she slowly stopped fighting back it leaned it's head down to take a chunk out of her shoulder, ripping it away with ease. The only bad thing about this position was that the beast couldn't currently see behind itself. Taking the flesh into it's mouth, he heard the male behind him speak, and it's head snapped around to look at the two of them. A low growl came from the beast as he stood over his prey as if protecting his meal. Note: Please do not attempt to godmod for the Chaos Account. The attacker will be eliminated after several posts. The damned slippery demon yanked its ears out of her hands and ducked like it knew just what she was going to do next. When it batted out with one long, arm-like paw, Nora just couldn’t get out of the way fast enough. It’s damned hit knocked her to the side and Nora hissed as she felt claws peel back the carefully crafted pin-striped fabric of her skirt, at least it had managed to miss her corset. But the feeling of claws in her hip, that was going to impede motion a little, damnit. Pulling herself back up off the floor, there was no time to deal with the shock of the fact that Jeremy had a stake in his backpack, Nora just stuck out her hand for it without speaking as she moved.
Grabbing the stake on the fly, Nora used all of her speed and dexterity to actually leap onto the back of the demon, just as it buried its teeth into the poor woman’s shoulder. She worried about the woman, her screams weren’t coming out as quickly anymore and she wasn’t beating away at it as furiously anymore. She was going into shock, Nora was pretty damned sure. Burying her left hand into its wirey hair, winding her grip around so that she wouldn’t be thrown off, she was sure that it was going to start bucking and be very angry that she was up there. But from this angle it wouldn’t be able to move it’s head anymore, either. Thanking the gods that she’d chosen a waterfall skirt today, Nora wrapped her legs around the thing’s abdomen, skirt riding up almost inappropriately in the front, but spilling out over the back of the beast, giving it one more thing to become entangled in and slip on. There were days in the beginning that even Nora couldn’t walk in this type of skirt, this thing didn’t even wear clothes, it wouldn’t think to worry about it.
Not sure exactly how its anatomy worked, Nora just shoved the stake into the base of its skull, pointing the tip up into where she hoped it’s brain was still located. If not, it would sure piss it off a lot. Afterwards, she entwined the other hand right into its red wire-like hair with her right hand as well, pulling back hard. She hoped that as soon as she got it off of the woman that Jeremy would come try to help stop the woman’s bleeding.

---------------------- ---------------------- Jeremy couldn’t lie he was a bit freaked out on what the hell to do, he had never seen anything like this in all his life. He really didn’t even know what to think at all what it was, the only person he though who could remotely to know of what it was is Alaric. And out of all the time for him not to be here why did it have to be now, Jeremy could use him her now more then ever, or maybe even Stefan or Damon for that matter. They had been around for so long one of them had to know something on what the hell this thing was.
Jeremy then watched as it attacked he new found friend that he just made for that matter, but that would be his luck meets a new friend and they all ready die on him. But that was how it went for him, it seemed like everyone he has ever known or loved dies on him. He wishes so much that he could make that part of his life not happen, he didn’t know how many more friends and family he could take losing. Finally Nikki had gotten the beast off of her, but it wasn’t long before he was terrorizing some other helpless person. He watched as it pounced on a older woman taking it down, she begin to sacred in pain from all of the flesh it was taking out of her neck. Jeremy baldy wanted to do something to help, but he knew really he didn’t stand a chance.
Then he noticed Nikki going after the beast, taking it on all by herself moving it off the old woman. She had her legs wrapped around the beast waiting for when she could make her next move. It looked as though she had stabbed it in the head, but the real question was is it going to kill it? Jeremy noticed the woman laying there in pain, he knew that he just had to help her. Plus he was wearing his ring after all, so he was going to take that chance and safe the woman. He gabbed a small cloth that he had in his bag, taking it over to the woman. “Its ok I’m going to try and help you, just stay calm.” He said to the lady while trying to help her wounds as best he could.

After growling to the couple, the beast turned back to it's current prey. Being that it was nearly a mindless beast it wasn't able to multi-task very well. Ripping another chuck out of one of her arms the woman began to grow more and more limp by the second, blood oozing out onto the floor. Suddenly it felt something leap onto it's back. It struggled beneath the attacker, violently trying to shake whoever it was off it's back. As an object pierced it's skull, the hellbeast allowed one last howl to escape from it's lips as it slumped down right where it stood. Landing right on top of the woman, it's eyes closed in one last look of defeat. Note: Please do not attempt to godmod for the Chaos Account. The attacker will be eliminated after several posts. Slightly calloused hands gripped the smooth wood hard, the sharped point digging in passed bone and tissues. The base of the skull and top of the spine broke way under the force of Nora’s stab, small chunks of bone ripping up into grey matter just as assuredly as the stake did. Pulling its head back by the hair seemed to help a lot with the leverage. The creature didn’t seem to like having it’s brains shish kebab’d, so it was no real surprise that it started bucking around, trying to dislodge the Potential. But thanks to the tight grip that she had around it’s midsection with her legs, it wasn’t going to fling her off, not while she had it by the brain stem. The biggest problem with this particular position was that her hip was burning like fire; she really hoped that that thing didn’t have poison in his nails, or worse yet if they were like kimono dragons where they were just so dirty that their scratch could kill a man in a matter of hours. While she allowed the former thought to send shivers up her spine, the creature let out this one last, long howl. This was the noise that made their ancestors to hide from the darkness.
Finally, it slumped down. Nora was pretty sure that this thing wasn’t smart enough to play dead, so she ripped its body off of the woman and started helping Jeremy apply first aid. Ripping pieces off of the bottom of the back of her skirt, Nora didn’t even think about it as she started to try to bind the wounds, all the time talking to the woman, trying to get her to stay conscious.
“Ma’m? Ma’m it’s going to be okay… Can you tell me what your name is? Ma’m! We’re going to get you help alright?”
As she tied another bandage around her arm, Nora looked out the broken window to the street, there were a few people milling around. They hadn’t been here for the initial attack, so they were quite curious about why the hell the front window was busted in. Eyes wide, but voice very commanding, accent and all, Nora called out to them,
“Someone call an ambulance!”

---------------------- ---------------------- It seemed as though Nikki stabbed the beast as it was laying on the ground, he wasn’t to sure it was dead yet as it laid there. But then all the sudden it moved making its way back over to him and the woman, Jeremy tired pulling the woman away from it but it was hard from all the weight from the creature. It let out a loud howl before laying completely down on top of the woman, it seemed as though it was dead but he couldn’t be to sure just yet. “Oh man is that thing dead?” He yelled out looking at Nikki.
Then Nikki made her way over to him getting creature off of the woman, it wasn’t good at all. It seemed like she wasn’t very responsive to all the questions they were asking her, it wasn’t looking to good for her. This lady’s last moments were approaching near. Jeremy really hoped that they weren’t to late, he really wanted to save this woman’s life. Why out of all the other times that he was usually there why the hell couldn’t he be there now, were was Damon when you need him. It seems another time something big is happening he is there, why not now. Maybe some vampire blood was what this woman needed, but then again maybe it was even too late for that.
He then looked to her with a loss of words not even wanting to say it. “You think maybe we are to late?” Tears then started to show in Jeremy’s eyes. “I should have protected her better, this poor woman didn’t disserve to die like this. You know the sad part is I think I know her, she works in the office of my school.” Jeremy could see all of the people in the streets freaking out from all that had happened, but no one was doing anything they all were just standing there in shock. Nikki had yelled out for Ambulance for help, but again everyone seemed in so much shock. Well maybe even he was because Jeremy had forgotten about his cell phone over on the table. “Keep an eye on her I’m going to go get my phone and try and call for help ok.”

A little too focused to answer Jeremy’s question about whether or not the creature was dead, Nora continued to bind as many of the wounds that she could reach, she didn’t want to move the woman too much in case the weight of having the large creature slam-tackle her to the ground had hurt either her head or her spine at all. "Jeremy, she’d not dead yet, don’t be like that, stay with me." Nora snapped, feeling badly that she had to be harsh, but it was the only way that they were going to save this poor woman’s life was if they kept on task and didn’t start giving in on her so early. It was shock, shock was one of the worst things that could happen to a person, it was usually what killed you before anything else. The tight cotton fabric turned a dark morbid black where the blood seeped into it, but it appeared to be slowing a little, the pressure was helping. Unlike the crowd of rubbernecking gawkers that were crowding around the store window, while she was sworn to protect them, Innocents so often acted like lemmings, following each other into either danger or a cow-like stare that wasn’t conducive to any kind of aid at all. What she wouldn’t give for a healer, a nurse, a doctor would be too much to ask…
“Medic!”
Not expecting anyone to really be of any help at all, Nora turned back to the woman and tore off another layer of her skirt and started ripping it into strips while Jeremy snapped out of whatever funk he was in and lunged for his phone; she still didn’t have one or she’d have done it herself. Still murmuring to the woman, trying to keep that little spark from leaving her eyes as she applied another layer of cotton over the bite wounds, again praying to whoever was listening that the thing didn’t have a poisoned bite. She knew that her own hip still burned with a sharp pain, but it was one that she acknowledged only on a very detached level. She was a hero, she wasn’t going to die, so minor first aid could wait until the Innocent could be saved.
"Jeremy, please hurry!"
