She knew that her older brother hadn't forgotten about her but that didn't mean that it wasn't a constant fear of hers. She loved her big brother as more than that, he wasn’t just her sibling, he was her father. She had always seen him as such being that he had pretty much raised her himself so knowing that he had never forgotten about her was a comfort that she really didn't know that she needed until now. She almost wished that he was here so she could give him a hug but then again he wasn’t one for public displays of affection, no matter who they were with, so she doubted he’d want Buffy to see that. She made a note in the back of her mind to give him a hug as soon as she saw him and went on to listening to the rest of Buffy’s story.
“Of course he didn’t forget me. I’m too adorable that I’m practically unforgettable.” She told her, laughing lightly. It was something that was such a Kathy thing to say that no one would be surprised if she was serious. She wasn’t serious, more trying to dissolve to somber mood so to speak. She didn’t like tense silences of awkward glances. She liked everyone to be as happy as they could be. She was like that as a human but it had intensified since she had become a vampire, so she figured it was easier to just go with it rather than question it.
Yawning once she rubbed her eyes. “Can you take that picture now Buffy so I can go to bed? I’m tired and I want to get out of these clothes as soon as I can. The sooner I go to bed and wake up, therefore taking the picture tomorrow morning, the sooner I can change into something that has color to it.” She whined. Waiting for the picture to be taken (to which she did a very unlike Kathy thing and flicked the camera off, hoping AJ would realize it was for him and not Buffy, the taker of the picture) she quickly shuffled into the guest room and fell on the bed, falling asleep almost instantly. She never felt someone tuck her under the covers and tell her goodnight.
She was already immersed in dream land.
