~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow was walking alone on her way to Richmond park, she was just trying to take a little break from all the craziness and relax. And what a better way then to do that by talking a little walk threw the park, Willow loved walking threw the park. She usually would fine a place to sit and read a book, that was Willow favorite way in winding down. It really not that she could stand being at home with everyone, it just that she needed a little piece and quite reading her magic books. She was going to see what new spells she could look up in helping them in slaying, and Willow really didn’t like Tara to see her practicing magic all the time. Its just with the bad past Willow has had with Magic she worried about what Tara might think, Willow really let the magic take over her once to the point it took over her life. But not doing it all together wasn’t good for Willow as well, other wise it gets all pent up and comes out way worse like when Willow went dark. Not to mention she did just lose Tara though that didn’t help. Its just a part of Willow’s life she never wants to happen again, which is why she keeps her magic under control and watches what she does very carefully. Willow walking threw the park trying to find a nice place to sit, but then she found a nice bench that was underneath Tree. “This looks like the prefect place to sit, I think I found my bench.” Willow said to herself. Willow then sat down on the bench and pulled out her magic book from her bag, she opened it begin to read it. She was reading about a new hard spell that she was still trying to master, so far she still hasn’t been able to get it just right. But in no time Willow will get it, she doesn’t doubt herself. It had been about a week since Orion had made his way to Virginia, traveling on the dime of a one Mr. Fredrick Abberline The fact that no one had yet to even catch on to the blatantly faked name (how often did people think the Inspector of the Jack the Ripper investigation traveled through America in the modern day) was the newest notch of pride in the Hacker Boy's belt. And until someone caught on, well then, who was he to stop Hotel Staff incompetence if it kept a roof over his head?
Today was an important day for the computer criminal. Today, he was going out into the world. Leaving his precious tucked safely away in his room, and heaven help anyone who tampered with that particular ceiling tile and leather air cushioned bag within. It was hard for him to head out and about and leave his baby alone but the lack of sunshine delivered Vitamin D was starting to throb behind his eyes.
Starbucks frothy mocha in hand (with more sugar and cream known to God) and a crumbly chocolate chip cookie inside a bag clutched tight in the other, Orion wandered about through the park. Keenly observing the couples picnicking, the kids playing with their dogs, parents wrangling their children. However it was one soul, heavy with past guilt yet light with true love that called to his angelic nature stronger than the others. Intrigued, the Sin Eater rolled his shoulders and strolled over to her, his horrible limp masked with a rather boisterous swagger. Peeking from around the side of the tree, smile wide and eyes kind, Orion tipped his hat up in greeting with the index finger of the hand holding his iced coffee. Head dipping downward in a polite if incredibly charismatic acknowledgement. His accent registered Southern Californian, voice playful and lips pressed into a quirky little smirk.
"Mind if I join you? I'm new to town."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It was the prefect day to be at the park, the weather was just right with a bit of a breeze in the air. It was just what Willow needed to study her magic, at home there is always so much craziness going on with everyone Willow can never get her work done. On top of that Willow really doesn’t want Buffy to see what she has been working on for her, it was top secret. Worrying her or getting her hopes up would not be good for her right now. Willow was studying and trying to find away to make Angels soul permanent, so that way Buffy and him could be close for once. It would really help there relationship, and lord knows right now they could use it. Willow knows she can find away and isn’t going to stop till she does, if the gypsies can do it then so can Willow. There really aren’t many spells that Willow cant do or learn, but for some reason she was having trouble with this one. She will find it she just has to, Willow owes that to Buffy for all that she has done for Willow in the past. Willow hoping if not to find a spell but maybe something to help hold it there. Like herbs of some sort, but she wont stop digging till she does find it. Then as Willow was sitting there someone had made there way over to her, she looked up at the man as he asked if he could sit there and that he was new in town. With her Willow not knowing to many people here she was open to the idea. “Yeah sure you can sit here and welcome to town by the way, I’m Willow by the way.” The read head said holing out her hand to shake his. "I'm Orion, it's a pleasure to meet you Willow."
The soft smile became a full blown grin as he gently folded himself onto the ground; left leg tucking up and under him to allow his bad right a chance to stretch out fully, his left foot bracketed under his right knee. Placing his coffee on the ground between a root and the tree proper, he opened the bag and split his cookie down the center, offering the sugary confection out to her with a slightly wrinkled nose. Few people left him feeling genuinely social, and the little Anglo-girl was such a breath of comfortable fresh air he couldn't wipe the goofy smile off his face if he tried.
Looking down at her books, interested at his companion's interests, his heart stopped in his chest. There, written out beside her was Rromani. A curse, by the look of it, to damn a wicked soul to knowing nothing but the pain of the kumpania they had wronged. The blood drained from his face as his eyes grew wide. Tapping a clean finger against the page, he looked up at her, blue irises completely surrounded by the whites of his eyes. "Where did you get this, Ghel?" His voice wasn't cruel or angry, merely shocked and quiet disbelief as his natural accent colored his words. It was obviously Carpathian. Obviously Romani. If she had truly met his people before she would recognize it. And at the moment, he didn't care. She had something precious, something he barely was allowed to be trained in; which meant somehow, maybe just maybe meeting this little Fire Soul was exactly what was supposed to happen today. He let a little of his angelic aura flood over her, a comforting feather light energy to ensure she know he meant her no harm but was still incredibly curious.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow didn’t really know this guy and felt something might be off, so she didn’t want her to see what she was reading. But she could tell that this guy was interested. Willow didn’t mean to seem rude if she did, but there was just something she didn’t trust about this guy just yet. Willow knew she needed to make conversation, she had been wanting to meet more people in this town. “It nice to meet you Orion, and yeah sometimes it can be. Its also hard to find just the prefect seat. You know the one that right underneath the tree, with a great view that you just cant pass up.” Said Willow smiling at him. “So when I saw this I just knew I had to sit here, its so nice.”Willow then pulled out a note book to take some magic notes , she didn’t know what it was but she could sense something about this guy. She had to find out what it was or who he was, or it was just going to keep bugging her on what he was. Willow knew that all she could really could do was try to get to know him and maybe then she could find out something about what was going on with him. “Yeah so it’s a nice day to get some fresh air huh, or to read like me. I love to read on a day like this.” Willow asked with excitement. He had asked Willow were she had gotten this book, but she didn’t really get how he was asking it too her. “I’ sorry what?” She asked the man. Orion's brow wrinkled as he felt his social awkwardness take it's toll on their first meeting. Reaching up with his hand, Orion rubbed the back of his neck and tried to find a way to restart the conversation. He always managed to do this, and with his half of the cookie perched on his thigh, all the angel could do was take a deep breath and explain.
"Sorry, I'm just really bad with people. I'm really glad to have met up with someone, I've been traveling for awhile and I'm hoping that I can finally find a place here. The park is gorgeous. And you've found the perfect spot. I'm just glad you don't mind sharing with me. I'm a bookworm myself; between my books and my laptop I've been able to satiate my endless curiosity." He paused for a moment, taking his hat off to run the hand that was on the back of his neck through his hair to ruffle the strands. Cooling off and chasing away that pressure brought on by any hat on a warm day. After a heartbeat, he pushed on, hoping he wasn't blundering through this too badly.
"It's why I asked you about that book. Look, I don't want to sound like a jerk, but that's written in my people's language. And quite frankly, we Rroma aren't exactly big on handing things out to those not of the Blood. It's a culture thing. I'm sorry if I upset you, I just wasn't expecting to see you with that."
Taking a long draw from his coffee, he popped a piece of cookie into his mouth and waited for his words to settle around them. It was the most he had spoken about himself in months, but it was her presence that made him take the gamble. After a few moments of gazing over her, Orion felt his supernatural sense catch up with his bumbling. Half-choking on his cookie, he coughed softly before finishing his mouthful in shock. His voice pitched low, as if the pair of them with holding some grand conspiracy. Looking around to make sure no one was within earshot, his eyes flew wide.
"…You're a caster! I mean… I… sorry…."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow was a bit confused by what the man meant, there was just something that was off about him she just didn’t know what? she knew she needed to just play if cool and ignore it. But this guy did seem kind of interesting by how he was talking, she was very much into her laptop and she loved to read as well. So they might both have something to talk about here, which did make her very happy. Willow hadn’t met to many people in this town yet so it was nice to get to. “Yeah I really do love to read I always have my face in a book for something.” She said referring to magic, “And I’m always on my laptop as well, heck I cant even leave the house with out it other wise I would die.” Which could be true in a lot of cases, because if it wasn’t for Willow’s knowledge with research they might have died ones or twice. More then once she has found the answers to what they need out of a bad situation. Which make Willow happy, knowing that she can help the group more then just with magic. he had said something to Willow about what she was reading and seemed very much like he understood what it was, he said something about his people and his language. So now Willow was more lost then ever, it had her really wanting to know who this guys was? He then seemed like he had something to say to her as it got really quite all the sudden. He had then got real close to Willow calling her a caster which told her right there that he knew what she was. But as always she was going to keep playing it cool. “What you mean Caster? What are you talking about?” She paused for moment knowing this guy wasn’t dumb, that she couldn’t just lie. “Even it I was a Caster tell me why I would tell you, who are you anyway?” the witch asked the man. Orion could do nothing but blink his eyes shut for a moment, as the weight of his apparent verbal blockage made any hope of communicating with his new companion nigh impossible. Taking a deep breath, he tried in vain to find where exactly he began speaking Swahili. And of course, when he learned Swahili in the first place. Apparently there were too many Rroma words in there, lemme Giorgio it down for you cutie… The fact that that particular thought stayed within the confines of his mind was a good thing, as most would probably take insult to his blunt mannerisms.
"Okay. Let me try this again. That spell. You're pretending not to be looking at?" Deliberately, Orion once more pointed straight at the bits of paper that she was focused on, eyes not hard but serious before continuing. "That's a Gypsy spell. One of my cousin families actually. The Kalderash, I know their work. It's a curse that if I'm correct, and I know I'm correct, hasn't been used by our Family since 1898. Now I don't know how you got your adorable little witchy hands on it, but I would at least like an explanation as to how considering that it took me years of being blood family and trained before I was allowed to even get a looks at it. Savvy?"
Pushing forward, Orion shifted in position to truly get a look at her. He had a feeling that this Willow was the one who knew Janna. The one who completed the curse on that vampire Angelus after he killed her. It took a few moments for those neurons to fire properly, but he couldn't risk the possibility that it was another redheaded witch with Family Secrets. The fact that he stumbled upon her today was a mixed blessing; either he met the little superwicca who could handle true Romani magic, or he found a thief. Either way, productive day.
"And Caster, like spellcaster. Witch. Wicca. Pagan. Priestess. Whatever you wanna call yourself, the Aura doesn't lie, beautiful." The term of endearment was far from flirtatious, if anything just a kindhearted attempt at friendship and camaraderie. "You tell me yours, i'll tell you mine. Deal?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This guy seemed to know a whole lot more then Willow though he was going to know, he was a lot smarter then he looked. But the real question was who is this guy anyway? What was he and were did he come from, for some reason there was a familiar feeling that she was getting from him that she had felt before. Some aura that she knew that she had been around a time again. But it didn’t feel like he was a warlock, he was something else she just couldn’t put her finger on what it was right away. She wasn’t doing a very good job at hidings what she had, It seemed as though he knew all about what Willow was reading. She quickly put all her books back in her bag when he pointed out the obvious, she really wasn’t in to talk about this with him. But then he begin to tell her all about what it was, knowing it was a Gypsy spell and how he was even related to the Kalderash. Willow knew then that he might be related to the people that hurt Angel. Which Made her not want to trust him even more, she knew to that Buffy might not want her even talking to this guy. Which is why she is just going to keep this to herself, she is going to make sure she gets this spell right on her own. “Well I really don’t want to talk about what I’m working on, its something I would like to keep to myself. I’m doing it for a friend.” She wanted to say nothing more about her work, as she sat the bag back down on the ground next to her. She would continue working on it when she was alone. He seemed that he really wanted to know what Willow was and who she was, but for some reason she didn’t feel like she could trust this guy at all. There was just something she didn’t trust, but she was going to try and be his friend it wasn’t like her to be rude. “Well what does it matter what I am, I think first you should tell me who are? Please.” Asked the witch. Word Count- 379 Tagged- OPEN Outfit- Click here to see Willow's cute outfit!Note- ~~~~~~~~~~~
Taking a deep breath, Orion's brow furrowed deeper as the pair of them kept having some massive amount of miscommunication. It was seriously beginning to grate funny on him, and Rye could feel the beginnings of belly rumbling coil in his very empty sans coffee tummy. Picking up his mocha and praising the gods of chocolate, Orion took a long swig to chill out his abraised ego. She was being less than open and cooperative, and it gave the normally xenophobic man a start. Was this how closed off he was to people? Did he rub off on others like this, because he was started to feel wretched about it.
"I appreciate you wanting to help your friend but that spell is private. It's my culture and I'm not gonna lie I feel a little concerned as to how you got that spell. We don't teach outside of the Family. Period. If you gained that through legitimate means I'd be more than happy to help you, but it's really dodgey. It's like growing a handlebar mustache, picking up a jar of Ragu and claiming your a native born Italian chef. It's my culture. My heritage. A lot of which was stolen and polluted by people like the Nazis or other cruel minded folks just because they thought us to be beneath them. I'd appreciate you being respectful about it and honest about it, Please? It's important."
His tone was beseeching, eyes gentle but honestly hurt. So much was laid bare, and he was trusting her with the only thing that had mattered to him his entire childhood, His Family. The thing that had been ripped away from him because he wanted to help those outside the blood. For some gods known reason, Orion wanted to befriend Giorgio; date them, care for them. This was a chance to see if they were worth the trust he had always put in them, or if his father was right. Holding his hands out, and looking around, he took the initiative on their little heart to heart.
"I was human, once. But now, after some painful things, I'm an angel. The Sin Eater to be exact. Ask away. It'll help if we're honest to one another because I really do want to trust you. Your aura reminds me of someone I knew once.." My predecessor…. I think I did love her, God please tell me I saved her…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This guy didn’t need to know were she got the spell, it didn’t really concern him all. It seemed like Willow shouldn’t have been told the spell by Jenny at all, it seemed like something they weren’t suppose to know. This made her realize how much Jenny must have cared for them. She really was a great person and teacher that Willow to this day will always miss and remember. If it wasn’t for Jenny she wouldn’t love Magic so much, she wouldn’t be so into it like she is now. And if even though she has lost control once before still if it wasn’t for Willow and her magic, she might not have been able to help Buffy save the world. “I’m respectful about it I just don’t feel like speaking of it anymore, it not important. I just like to do research on old stuff it interests me, as for finding things I’m just good at looking for things. I mean come on everyone on line talks even if you think family is to be trusted ya know.” Willow wasn’t going to tell him about Jenny and how she told them, it didn’t matter and wasn’t any of his business. Even if Jenny was in fact dead it didn’t matter to Willow she had respect for her and always will. He told Willow that he was an Angel which made everything make sense, she could tell by what she was feeling around him he was something. She had that same feeling from being around Gabriel when she met him. “An Angel huh I have met one of your kind before, you guys have really big wings at lest ones i saw on someone were. And who do I remind you of anyway?” She wanted to know who this guy was talking about, and what did he know about her Aura? Orion felt the ice slick over his emotions, as the sociopathic tendencies flamed to stark relief. The dichotomy was enough of an emotional conundrum to keep him from lashing out with words or any other liable reaction. The feelings of deception was hard to piece out the reason for, or even the intensity; but the darkness that once touched her left him feeling not only xenophobic but really put out in general. Apparently tradition and culture didn't matter to this woman, and it put Orion out beyond belief.
If it was physically possible, this woman was exactly how his father tried to warn him. Giorgio who had not only gruff personalities but no real understanding of another person's tradition. It was startling and a little painful. Orion always wanted to believe his father's xenophobic ways were wrong, but as the conversation with the woman before him continued, all he saw was how very right the Rom Baro had been.
When she mentioned his wingspan and it's potential length, Orion blinked back in surprise. His eyes went wide with shock before blinking a few times and then his brow furrowed. It was the most bizarre question he had ever been asked. To an angel, the size of his wings equated asking a man about his… we'll go with physical qualifications. It was as if the witch was coming on to him, and Orion wondered grumpily if she was going to come out and ask him how many he had to?!
"They're…big… yes… And I thought you reminded me of the woman who I succeeded, but it's obvious you're your own person entirely." The words weren't said meanly in the least, but in the hidden depths of his heart of hearts, Orion was bitter.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow really didn’t know what else to ask the angel other then about his wings, she never has really known any Angels other then Gabriel and he was nothing at all like this guy. This was very serious with everything and calm, were Gabriel was just fun and crazy. All though at first him and Willow didn’t get along all to well, she though he was strange at first. But after she knew what he was that all changed very quickly. Then it had the witch wonder how he was and were he had been off to. Probably been hanging out with Maddie, no surprise there. She couldn’t lie she though Angels wings really were something, how big and beautiful they were as they stood up high on end. It really made her wonder what it would be like to fly, she is sure that if she tried messing with the magic she could. But she really doesn’t want to take a chance, It doesn’t sound so fun messing up, falling and landing on her face. Willow is just fine with being on the ground walking around, has not failed her yet. She was kind of confused on who he was speaking of, her being own person and all. What did he mean by that anyway? Plus She really didn’t like that way he was speaking to her, what he was telling her came out harsh and bitter. “What you mean I’m my own person of course I am, why wouldn’t I be?” The witch asked with confusion in her voice. She really was trying to get this guy but she was having troble, and last she checked reading people was one of the things she was she was good at. Man was she wrong there. As he felt himself bristle, Orion had to mental tell himself to knock it off. She didn't seem like a nasty person, if anything she was being as secretive as his people had ever been. If he got mad at her for a private thing of his and her wanting to keep her side of it private, the amount of hypocrisy would be able to choke a horse. So he felt himself unwind and try one last time to get him social graces switched from 'Abrasive as Hell' to 'Friendly but Cautious'.
"She… died. She had to die. She was my predecessor." The sentence was significantly warmer than the one that came before, and he dared the line of talking to much by continuing. "I'm wretched at this." It wasn't the first time he said it, but this time his shoulders sagged with the weight of his very obvious bungling. Why would she bother to talk to him about something she thought was worth hiding if he didn't at least try? Though he couldn't help but feel like he was on display, squirming in his seat a touch.
Another deep breath and he continued again, looking at the ground and pulling at a clump of dried and dead grass. "Do you know anything about what I am, Willow?" His voice seemed far off, meeting his thoughts somewhere in the past. The pain, the fear, the loneliness; it had been so long since he felt like he should or could talk to someone. He wanted to try, but with how she had been, he wasn't sure how it would even go. And with how he'd been, he was certain she (with good reason mind you) wouldn't care...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Willow wasn’t really big on hating people, there weren’t to many in this world that she didn’t like. But with this guy there wasn’t a whole lot about him she could say that she did like. He was just strange, rude and didn’t make a whole lot of sense, she hated feeling that way towards someone but she couldn’t help it. For some reason she didn’t trust him which was another reason she was unsure with him, and with pass experience if you don’t trust someone right way that is never a good sign for anyone in the gang. “I’m sorry to hear that you friend died, I have lost a lot of people to so I know the feeling. I have lost so many to the point I have lost count.” It killed her with all she had lost in her life, Jenny calendar was one of them she became really close with her back in school. She wishes so much that she will still there with them all. Tara was a pretty big death to Willow it really killed her losing her in her life, even though she was back with them it still hurts her to think about it. Even though Kennedy deserved to die it still bothered Willow knowing that it had to happen. Having to watch her die knowing she was in pain. But she turned on the rest of the group so they didn’t have a choice in the matter. The she was bit lost about what he meant knowing what he was, she though they all ready had gone over what he was. “ Well I though you were an Angel right? You are something else as well now?” Willow asked him lost now more then ever. Word Count- 293 Tagged- OPEN Outfit- Click here to see Willow's cute outfit!Note- ~~~~~~~~~~~
