---------------------- ---------------------- Jeremy walked threw the halls making his way to the library, he had a test that he had to get a good score on. It was most of his grade and he needed an A if he even wanted to think about graduating, so he would have to kick himself if he didn’t get it or Elena would anyway for that matter. His sister was always worried about him and how he was doing with school, just like how his mom use to all the time. Which is nice that he has Elena there for him in that way now, its just really annoying at times. But he does love Elena more then anything so he deals with and understand why she does it. Because the truth was if she didn’t help look out for him who will, just like how he looks out for her always.
Jeremy made his way into the library and found a seat, he sat his book bag down and begin to get out the books that he needed to study in. He sat down and opening the book and begin to read what he had needed to focus on. The test was over American History not really something he is really was fond of, but in a weird way really good at. It must have been because of how much he has looked up and learned to found out about his own, Because the truth was Mystic Falls had a lot of history in its self. Especially with Jeremy ancestors with the town, he has had to look up so and read so much just found out about it all. The sad thing was there was probably a whole bunch to the town that he didn’t even know about yet that he is yet to read.
Jeremy then was sitting there was his Ipod on, reading trying to find out as much as he could for the test. He had to ace this test and he only had a few days to get ready for it. He then looked up and noticed someone out of the corner of his eye, It was his sister Elena. But what was she even doing here, Jeremy though she would be at home right now with Caroline right now. So Jeremy figured it might want to go see what was up, he made his way over to her. When he made it over there he tapped her lightly on the shoulder and asked, “Ok I though that you were suppose to be at home sis, so what’s up everything ok?”

No one ever said playing undercover was a thrilling venture.
It had been one of the stupidest things she had ever come up with; a plan so damned noble it was positively selfless. The fact that her only angle was trying to make the men in her life safe and sound, dare one hope even care about her again was the definition of pathetic. Katherine Pierce had never in all her years snuck to this kind of humanitarianism unless it involved the Salvatore Brothers. The fact that she had stuck her neck out on the line for them before was still not enough. Playing nice hadn't ever gone her way before, something that very much stuck in her craw and iced over her veins. She loved them; heaven help her but she did, whether she wanted to or not. It was painful to see the men she loved fawning over Elena; in her mind she had been relatively gracious in letting them flutter off behind her without ripping the girl to shreds. But again, her hand was stilled… Because for all her hatred and vitriol that Elena absolutely adored spitting her way, Katherine could not help but want to help her. After all…
Elena was the only connection Katerina had to her daughter.
So she'd take her barbs and attitude if she made Stefan happy. And if keeping Elena bundled up in her pretty bubble world kept him happy, then she'd play nice. She'd even help save the day. She still loved him after all. Him and Damon both. Despite her new fascination with all things Winchester, her self-titled 'Second Chance' with a new pair of unsuspecting brothers, Katherine cared. Curse it all, she cared enough to play Bait…
But before sticking her neck fully out on the line, she needed recon. Recon meant knowing Klaus' every move in Mystic Falls, which unfortunately meant going back home to Mystic Falls. And while she would just love to stick herself upon that hook and wriggle for him all pretty like while the Heroes rallied the troops and got their man out from behind enemy lines; Katherine needed to know exactly what kind of bait she was going to have to become.
It was a quick trip to the library on her docket for the day, dressed in clothes passable for Elena with the godforsaken straight hair and Chucks to match. Her bracelet was safely ensconced away in the sleeve of an exceptionally couture jacket, something Elena might tend towards but mostly just for herself. Glancing around for her errant Great-Great-Great Grandheadache, Katherine jumped as Gilbert Junior slid up behind her and started Sibling Chatty Time. One blink was all it took for her to react to the sudden intrusion, the pause surprisingly similar to his not so kin.
"It was too quiet, I needed fresh air. You haven't seen Stefan, have you?"
She wasn't lying; a fact Katherine would most definitely bring up later when the inevitable accusations started flying. She was even being nice to Junior, a first for her. If anything she deserved a medal...

---------------------- ---------------------- Jeremy still didn’t really know why Elena was here he though she be doing something with Bonnie, Caroline or Lexi. Busy still trying to find away to get Stefan’s humanity back, which needs to happen any day now. Jeremy really was getting tired of the way Stefan was treating his sister, he was about to get another visit from Jeremy. Which will probably lead to Jeremy getting his ass kick again. But he just cant sit by and watch Elena be treated that way. He loves his sister way to much.
“It was quite huh, I guess all the other girls were too busy to hang. Well I’m sorry sis if I didn’t have this test to study for you and I could hang and do something. But I have to do good on this, its like half of my grade.” Said Jeremy. He then stood there in confusion wondering why she was looking for Stefan, he is not exactly the nicest person right now. “Now you said you were looking for Stefan why? And why do you think he would be here at the high school library, especially when there is no school in session right now.?” Asked Jeremy
He was a little lost on what was going on here, and whatever it was it couldn’t be good. Especially if Stefan was invalid something bad was going to happen for sure. Jeremy then wanted to know why was she looking for him on her own, it wasn’t really safe at any cost. “You know it not smart to look and take Stefan head on by yourself, with how he is right now Elena it isn’t safe. I mean you know what he is capable of doing. So were is Lexi at right now shouldn’t she be with you?” Asked Jeremy

Katherine paused for a moment, ceasing her never-ending Stefan Search to really take a good look at the kid. He was ridiculously brave, a foolhardy trait that he shared with the now Ripper-esque prey she was hunting. He was loyal, albeit only to her doppelgänger; but without the usual arrogance of the Gilbert line. Despite being an insufferable young boy, Katherine knew better than to pick a fight with the Littlest Hunter That Could. Besides, he was growing on her. Kind of like a cancer…
"That's just it, I don't want him sneaking up on me. Or you." She felt strange in the flat Converse, the sneaker of choice for Elena made her significantly shorter and less psychologically empowered. She could manage, mind, but it was enough to set her nerves on edge. When he mentioned the test, her head tilted to the right, curious. Hanging out with the Bitty would be even better cover than the ridiculous teenaged getup. "What's the test on? Maybe I could help." The pin straight hair was beginning to get on her nerves as she fitfully tucked the strands behind both ears. Some excess fell forward to cover the tuck and frame her face; giving herself something to fuss with while playing the game.
"I didn't mean to worry you, Jer." Never had Katherine been so happy as to have stalked her doppelgänger than right now, easily using the sibling nickname she had overheard before. Katherine would have felt a twinge of guilt if it wasn't for the Greater Good, the fact that it was for her Greater Good as well as their own was just convenient.

---------------------- ---------------------- Jeremy really didn’t know what it was but Elena didn’t really seem to be acting like herself, she acted like something was wrong or there was something she wasn’t telling Jeremy. It wouldn’t be the first time Elena had kept secrets from him, she has been known to do that to him more then once. Jeremy knew that Elena thought she was just keeping him safe by not telling him, but really she wasn’t she was just pissing him off by keeping things from him. Jeremy really didn’t get why she did it too him, He knew that if he kept something from her she would be upset with him.
“I really don’t think anyone is going to sneak up on us here at the school, but who knows things have been known to happen at the school more times then I want to remember. But sure you can help me with my test if you want.” Said Jeremy. He really didn’t get what was going on with her, she was acting very strange almost like she wasn’t comfortable with herself. She kept fixing her hair for some reason like something was wrong with it, when it looked fine. She acted really nervous like there was something she didn’t want Jeremy to know. “Elena are you feeling ok? Your act like something is wrong, is everything ok I mean is there something you want to tell me?” Asked Jeremy
She may not be trying to worry him but she was, he didn’t know what it was but something was up with his sister. The truth was it probably was from all the stress she had been going with Stefan, it wasn’t good for her at all. Jeremy just hopes he gets his humanly back soon for Elena’s sake.

"I'm also trying to keep an eye out for Klaus…" Her voice was pitched lower, as she leaned forward to softly whisper one of her honest to-do list tasks. It was harder than she thought it would be to play along with him; maybe the idle kidnapping from earlier made this a touch more complicated than they used to be. Remembering not to smile, Elena came in either lovestruck grin or stoic, Katherine tried to give him an empathetic look. Brows pulling up and head dipping down a few inches as her face went soft. "I'm just a little stressed lately. With everything going on now, I just feel really overwhelmed."
Nodding towards a nearby table, Katherine waited for him to return to his belongings. This whole plan had honestly wound Katherine tighter than a spring. Caroline would handle her end of this double-crossing self-sacrificing victim shenanigans. Of that much Katherine was certain, and the fact that it made the blonde a bit of a grump was the sugar on top. She was surprisingly entertaining crabby; a trait she had enjoyed in Damon though in completely different ways. As her thoughts spun, she headed back to the table with deliberately human slow steps. Pulling out a chair, Katherine sank into it with a soft sigh. Propping her head up with her hand, she glanced up at Jeremy. Maybe he could help. While she doubted he'd help her if he knew who she really was, the chance he'd help Elena was a given.
Or… she could stop the game.
It wasn't the most pleasant of options; but here in public, and for his sister, maybe he would keep the death threats to a minimum. Weighing the options in her head, Katherine bit the bullet and took a stab in the dark. Worst comes to worst, she could blur out of here. "Or it could be because I'm wound tight about trying to help Elena with the whole Ripper thing." The tone and cadence was the same as before, light and easygoing. And again, it wasn't like she lied. More… inferred fibbing. Her eyes never left his, but she didn't push with compulsion. After all, it wouldn't work and she didn't feel like it.

---------------------- ---------------------- It was smart for Elean to watch out for him, all though its not like he would really kill her. He did need to her after all which was good in away, but it always worried Jeremy whether or not he was going to kidnap her. He better not other wise Jeremy will lose it and probably get himself killed. Jeremy then put his hand on Elena’s and said “Well don’t stress Elena I’m here don’t worry.” Then as Jeremy had his hand on hers he noticed that Elena was really cold. “Elena are you cold because you feel like you are freezing, are you feeling ok? Here you can have my jacket.” Said Jeremy as he gave Elena his jacket.
Elena had been working herself so much, it wouldn’t be a surprise if she was sick. She really needed to relax more and take a break, even though Jeremy knew that was pretty much impossible with her. Elena wasn’t going to be ok in till she got Stefan back, if she ever does. God only knows if there is any humanity left in him anywhere. For Elena’s sake Jeremy hopes so, other wise he don’t know what else to do for her. He is lost on answerers there, he really hopes that Lexi finds something.
Jeremy continued to study for his test, he really was pushing for a good grade. Then all the sudden Elean tone to her voice had changed, she showed her true colors. Jeremy’s eyes were wide with surprise and anger, how could he miss this? He knew something was up with Elena, because it wasn’t even her in the first place. “Katherine what the hell are you doing here? What is it you want from me of all people?” Jeremy asked in a pissed off like tone.

"Thanks Jer." Katherine relaxed under the jacket, content to burrow under the warm and surprisingly nice smelling coat. She tucked her arms under the fabric, aiming for defenseless and innocuous for when he inevitably flipping his lid. And lid flipping, he did. Katherine waited, subtle smile still on her lips as the Gilbert teen snarled at her, amused at how well he could pull it off.
"Relax Jeremy. I already told you, I'm keeping an eye out for Klaus. And I'm trying to help Stefan. Bumping into you was an accident. And try and keep it down, I'm blending."
With a put-on sigh, Katherine withdrew herself from under his coat and offered it back. Missing the warmth but understanding the need to keep him placated. She could feel the palpable wrath coiling off of him, but was intelligent enough for now to not comment on how hot it was. " And here I thought Caroline was going to give you all the run down…" Reaching up, Katherine let her mannerisms fall a little more into her own behaviors. Sliding her bangs between her index and middle fingers, smoothing the strand in complete relaxation. The accusations would fly, the bad mood would continue. Here's hoping the teaser she gave him would be enough to whet his appetite. Curiosity and all, maybe he would listen before letting his baser instincts rule. It was a test, she wanted to see what he would do, now that she stumbled head long into this new game.
Gazing up through her lashes, Katherine crossed her left arm across her midsection, right elbow propped on the table as she continued to slowly smooth out her hair. Straight wasn't so bad, but it certainly wasn't going to be her norm. Taking a deep breath, she sighed softly before reclining a touch in her chair. Things would have been easier if Caroline had let him know; and as that thought danced in her mind Katherine froze. What if he was unreliable? What if he would spill the beans and end up getting her killed? Cursing internally, Katherine subtly eyed the wanna-Hunter cautiously. He was a variable, something she didn't count on. And that was enough to set her teeth on edge and her adrenaline flooding through her stolen blood. She desperately tried to keep her voice even and calm, ticking through her mind potential escape clauses and exit strategy in case this went to pot. "Or did no one think to give you the memo? Strange… here I thought you'd be in the loop." She went for mildly flippant, nowhere near her usual callous bitchiness. He would notice the lack of her typical venom and ice, whether or not he knew the reason was anybody's guess.

---------------------- ---------------------- How dumb did she really think he was, did she not think he wouldn’t figure it out. Well guess what he did and he isn’t going to take any of her crap or play any of her games. He had a test to worry about he couldn’t worry about what Katherine was cooking up this time, not today or any day of the week for that matter. “Well you aren’t doing a very good job with blending in I can tell you that, it wont take her friends long to realize you aren’t Elena. You do know that right?” Asked Jeremy. “And what do you mean you are trying to help out Stefan why? He hates you and last I checked wants nothing to do with you.”
Jeremy really didn’t need this right now and didn’t want to be dealing with her, He hated Katherine even though he wasn’t for sure why. I might have been because she tired to look and act like Elena and she wasn’t, or it might have been because of how many time she has tired to ether hurt or get Elena killed. But ether way she still left a nasty taste in his mouth that wouldn’t go way.
Jeremy went back to working on his studying trying not to pay any intention to her, even though her sighing and running her mouth was making it hard. Ever time she spoke Jeremy didn’t gave her the time of day, or acknowledge the fact she was there. Till finally he wanted to know what the hell she was talking about. “Katherine what are you going on about, Caroline giving me the run down on what. And for you information I don’t ask to be in the loop I just end up have to be for Elena and you know what, when comes to keeping my sister safe I will do anything. But you should know that very well by now. “ Said Jeremy.

Katherine narrowed her eyes, ice lancing her words as a callus smirk arced over her lips. "How convenient, since I wasn't intending to deceive them." Dark chocolate brown eyes went hard as flint as he proved to her once more how childish and frankly, unreliable he was. For a brief, shining second Katherine could see potential in him. But just like every other sycophant inhabitant of the dance and festival obsessed, backwoods town; Jeremy couldn't see past his own nose to spite his face.
As he continued his vicious and petty little diatribe, Katherine was caught completely aback at how callous the human could be. Throwing in her face, with a song in his heart, how little the man she was willing to be tortured for actually felt for her. Time and time again, no matter what she did or said; she would eternally be the 'Bad Guy' thanks to the Salvatore Brother's Smear Campaign. And then he sat there ignoring her after throwing all of his barbs her way without so much as a decent reason outside of petty bull… It was the final straw. The growl that purred in her chest was the only warning either of them had before she struck. While her features maintained their human visage, the pain in her eyes was blatant. Why bother hiding it, it wasn't as though it wouldn't be thrown back in her face anyway. It was their nature.
Katherine's hand lashed out, as her feet came down to land back against the floor remarkably silent. Her fingers wove into the soft fabric of his hoodie, pulling him close as her voice pitched low. Each word growled out, face betraying her genuine feelings despite the years of hiding them. "You arrogant, callous little brat. I have had it with how absolutely hypocritical the lot of you can be. You whine and bitch and moan about how awful of a person I am and then you turn around and twist the knife when it comes to the man I loved. First, mind you. The man I graciously walked away from so your darling sister could be happy. The man that I am putting my own neck out on the line for so your sister could get him back. But instead of being civil or heaven for-freaking-bid be grateful about it, you open your uninformed mouth and make a scene in the middle of your school. A scene that could, in theory, get me killed and succeed in Elena losing her chance to get Stefan back because you had to play the role of Asshole Teenager.
"You're nothing but Lip Service. I am putting my own life and well-being on the line for Elena. I'm serving myself up on a silver platter for Klaus to torture for her. But I'm the heartless bitch, right Jer? I'm that vile vampire whore who only cares about herself. Not the only living connection to my daughter. Why would I dare be so Three Dimensional? But hey, what should I expect from you people? Between the lot of you, I'm surprised anyone dares defy your expectations or persecutions. Just because I don't bow down and fall in line means I deserve your venom, right Jer? Because how Dare I have loved them first? How dare I not be the Big Bad Monster? How dare I not sit back and take your slings and arrows? After all, Not like it hurts. Not like I feel it, Right Jer?"
Letting go of his shirt, Katherine snarled softly. Eyes narrowed, brows furrowed. While she didn't cause him any harm, the sweatshirt was certainly rumpled. Hands coming up, she closed her eyes and shook her head. It wasn't worth it. None of this was. But she made Caroline a promise. And she owed it to Stefan. Not that it mattered. Standing up, Katherine glanced down at his work. Voice oozing with sugary sweet venom. The irony of his studies not missing on her. Her finger tapped his notebook on the incorrect answer, eyes cold.
"And it's Margaretha Geertruida Zelle, better known as Mata Hari. One of the most famous Scapegoats of all time. Not that it spared her the firing squad." Before turning on her heels, ready to leave unless he had something else to say.

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She groaned as she looked at herself in the mirror. She looked awful. She had been sick for the past few days and the lack of sleep was definitely showing on her face. Dark circles under her eyes along with the pale skin that usually was an olive tone was not at all making her feel any better. Unfortunately she couldn't continue to procrastinate on her homework so instead of sitting around with a cup of soup was what she wanted to do, she had to get dressed and head out for the day. This definitely did not make her happy.
Throwing on a pair of jeans, a black laced tank top, a pink hoodie, a necklace and her nike shox, she was set for the day. Brushing her straight brown hair she threw on a bit of makeup to hide how sick she looked and grabbed her keys, and headed towards the door. She peeked in the living room and then the kitchen but didn’t see Jeremy, though this wasn’t a huge surprise. He had been out and about most days recently, apparently trying to stay away from her since she had been sick…but it was still odd he hadn’t left a note.
Knowing it was senseless to worry about it she headed out the door. Jumping in her car she grabbed the steering wheel tightly, trying to pass the wave of dizziness she felt. She knew if anyone knew she was heading out today they would be on her ass because of being sick but she couldn’t afford to miss anymore school work. She was honestly surprised any of them were still on track school wise since all they seemed to do is skip it, but she figured it was better not to take advantage of it anymore than she already had so unfortunately she had to suck it up.
Arriving at the high school she took a deep breath and got out of the car, slamming the door behind her. Walking slowly towards the library she nodded at a few passerbys who waved at her in greeting. Thankfully none of her friends were around, though she knew that didn’t mean much. Walking in her eyes widened when she saw her younger brother at a table…but that wasn’t what made her gasp in surprise. Nope, it was her ancestor, her exact double, Katherine, who was seated next to her brother. She knew technically they were on the same side right now but that didn’t mean she trusted the woman, especially not with the life of her brother.
Taking a deep breath she stomped over to the table, putting her bag on the glossy surface and slumped down in a chair with a huff. “Hey Jer.” She told him with a smile, though it came out more of a grimace before turning to the brunette vampire. “What are you doing here Katherine?” She asked, not unkindly, though curious to know why she was here in her school…clearly impersonating her. Quickly putting the hood over her face to hide herself a bit better she waited for an answer, hoping no one would notice the resemblance.

---------------------- ---------------------- Right when Jeremy didn’t expect it Katherine had grabbed him by his orange hoodie, it seemed as though he had pissed off Katherine which was something he was hopeing to do. Katherine drove Jeremy nuts she was nothing but annoyance to everyone around her. Hell even the Salvatore didn’t want to be around her, it just seemed like when ever she was around there was nothing but trouble or drama. Jeremy wishes that she would just do everyone a great big favor and stay away forever.
Jeremy really didn’t get why she was yelling in his face like this, it wasn’t going to solve or fix anything. What she think she was doing right now scaring him? She was far from even doing that to him, because that was the one thing with Katherine that Jeremy had that was different from everyone else. She didn’t scare him, Jeremy wasn’t scared of Katherine no matter what she did or said, which was probably why she messed with him so much. It bothered her knowing she couldn’t get to him, no matter what she did. It made more of a game for her.
Jeremy finally pulled back in his chair from her grip, he didn’t want her in his face anymore. Jeremy didn’t even say anything why gave her the joy of knowing he was pissed, It was better to play it off like it didn’t bother him. Then all the sudden Elena had sat down right next to Jeremy, oh great what was she doing her this could take a turn for the worst. “Hey Elena what are you doing here? I though you were back at home taking it easy.” Jeremy asked. Then Jeremy could tell that she noticed that Katherine was there, she didn’t seem to happy. “Yeah look who’s here she led me to believe she was you for awhile, but that game didn’t last long did it Katherine.” Jeremy said with a smirk to Katherine. “other then that I really don’t know what the hell she is here.”

Someone stop me. If there is a kind and benevolent Anything out there, stop me from cutting that damned ring off of his hand and choking him with it.
Katherine couldn't stop herself from pinching the bridge of her nose in a bid for patience as Jeremy just kept pushing her buttons. Never had anyone in her life since Klaus had Katherine changed her opinion on in such neck breaking speeds. He wasn't so much testing her resolve as spitting in her face and drawing a line in the sand while thumbing his nose at her. It was like the cosmos were testing her mettle to play with the Good Guys; and if it kept going this way she was going to throw them all under the bus for being ungrateful twits long before Stefan even had a chance to come home.
When the most miraculous thing happened…
Elena strolled in; pink hoodie and sunken eyes, clearly sick. And Katherine had never been so grateful as to see the woman who shared her face before in her unnaturally long life. The gratitude flooded her eyes as a surprisingly soft smile crossed Katherine's lips before she hurriedly schooled her features. The call of blood sang in her heart; her daughter's descendant poured herself into a nearby chair with the last bit of energy in her tired body. Her instincts betrayed her, filling with concern and compassion despite the burning inferno of pain at the knowledge this woman was with her once love. The ache was bone deep and consuming, but she had wrapped her heart in ice some time ago when it came to Stefan. They were both right, in their own way; theirs was a love story, it's ending came on the beginning of Hers. As much as she willed herself to let go, it would still take time. But what else did she have in the end?
Turning to the both yet still standing, Katherine held up one finger. Adding another with each point of order she made. "First off, Squirt; I never once pretended to be Elena to You. As I said to you, what twice now? Second, knock the disrespectful bull off before I actually take offense. Manners Jer, one would question Jenna's parenting skills with how you treat your elders. And Three, I told you why I'm here. Twice, actually. But let's make it a Hat Trick since you seem to be lagging."
She could have been colder and much nastier, something Elena would notice at least. The girl was frustrating but thankfully incredibly perceptive. She was trying, hard as it was to believe. A little human decency wasn't too much to ask for, despite how much he was pouting like a toddler told 'No.' Humble pie didn't seem to be something Jeremy Gilbert could swallow down without choking on it, and he would be the one to ruin it for all of them. And we've come full circle.
Sitting down next to Elena, Katherine once more felt genuine concern at the girl's condition. But she couldn't act it, despite what the mother in her wanted to do. She was the source of so much pain and anguish, not that Elena would believe compassion from her after everything the pair of Petrovas had gone through over the last hiccup of time. Conflicted emotions seemed to follow every interaction they had, and the resulting headache always made Katherine crabby. Considering Junior had been pushing her buttons the last few minutes, this particular Kat's claws were extended with hackles raised. Knowing her own bent towards all things bitchy, Katherine willed herself to pull back any attitude and let her honesty carry her into the incredibly unwelcoming bosom of Team Good Guy. Once more, her voice dropped to a low whisper, intent to at least be covert over the masculine debacle known simply as her current despised companion.
"Getting recon before setting the plan into full swing. I was hoping to drop a line to Caroline once I had more info, but I then Sunshine over here decided to nigh blow my cover and ruin any hope of this getting off the ground with his stealth ineptitude. But are you up to this? You look under the weather and it would just ruin everything for Stefan to get you back all runny nosed and bruised eyes. And while I can work miracles, no amount of spackle is going to cover up you barely able to function. Maybe the circles. Maybe..."
The tone was playful and snarky, her default but with a touch of warmth. Call it the Petrova fire...

- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -She pulled her hoodie tighter around her, trying to block out the chill from the air conditioner that was currently blasting in the library. She hated that it was always so damn cold in the library, which was the reason she usually avoided it. She wasn’t one who could study if she was freezing but unfortunately she didn’t at all have a choice in the matter. Being behind because of vampire crisis’ was one thing, being behind because she was sick and felt like death was a whole other. She’d rather use her allotted time for when there was a real emergency rather than when she was sick with whatever germ was going around this week.
She shrugged at Jeremy’s comment about taking it easy. “I’m behind on school work and need to get caught up.” She stated shortly before rolling her eyes a bit. “She likes to play that game.” She told him, pretending for the moment that Katherine wasn’t in the room. “You get used to it after awhile. Eventually ya’ll should be able to tell us apart without having to wait awhile, but until then I’m glad you’re learning quickly who is who.” She told him with a smirk.
Clearly ignoring Katherine wasn't the way to go around things as she started ranting about manners and not pretending to be her. "Okay, let's all chill out for a minute. I have a massive headache and cannot take anything for it at the moment because of all the cold meds. For one thing, please don't disrespect Jenna in front of me. She did the best she could with what time she had us for and the only reason he's not showing his manners that I know he has in him..." She stated, throwing a pointed glance in Jeremy's direction. "Is because of the hell we've all been through the past few weeks." She told her apologetically.
"I haven't spoken to Caroline in a few days." She explained to her, motioning to her body. "Been a bit under the weather. However I've got a doctor's appointment later today and once I get the antibiotics that they've been denying me for a week I will be good as new. So don't worry, I can definitely handle this. Besides, I've had a lot of practice with some heavy duty makeup. So whatever I look like I'll be able to cover it up." She told her confidently, knowing it was the truth. She would do this, she had to...for Stefan.

---------------------- ---------------------- This was all to crazy Jeremy didn’t need all this, he needed to be studying for this test. The last thing he needed was to be working at the grill his whole life waiting tables, he needed to make something of himself and failing out of high school wasn’t one of them. He was sick of Katherine crap and at this point the was just going to agree to whatever she had to say. “ok Katherine whatever you say, whatever I don’t care anymore. Oh but for your information you know nothing about my elders, just what you don’t like about them. So lets just not talk about that.” said Jeremy. He laughed at what Elena said about Katherine loving to play this game, it was true though she loved doing it to people. But Jeremy doesn’t think he could ever get use to it.
Because no matter how hard Katherine tries or wants to be, she will never be like Elena. Elena is a kind yet sweet person who is always there for her friends and family, no matter what the cost she is always there. She think about others before herself and worries about other safety first, even if that’s not always good. Yeah Jeremy wishes sometimes Elena would worry about herself too. But these are things Jeremy loves about Elena, and Katherine could never understand or be like that. Jeremy put his hand on top of Elena’s hand and said “I’m sorry your not feeling well, just let me know if you need anything. Home work help, house stuff, more cold meds, just name it and I’m your guy. But you need to do something for me and promise you will try and take it easy, ok?”
Jeremy was still a bit confused to what she was talking about with Caroline, and even if Katherine had told him what the deal was about it he wasn’t going to believe it coming from her mouth. He needed to hear it from Caroline first. Jeremy then looked over at Elena and asked “Why is Caroline even talking to Katherine, I though she was smart enough to know not to believe anything she has to say. Or better yet I though she was smart to just run when she sees Katherine’s face.” said Jeremy.
