It seemed that Spike and the hunter had reached some sort of mutual stalemate. Well, Spike could deal with that. It was better than being shot. And if she was leaving, then it left Spike to clean up any newly raised vampires that the hunter and her pooch missed. That would have to do. It wasn’t as satisfying as fighting someone who was really trained, but it saved a few people here and there. It was curious that they were talking about that Gabriel guy, though. As far as Maddie had told him, Spike thought the guy was in heaven fighting some holy war against his will or something. Or that he was dead, like Maddie had just said. Or something else. Spike had plenty of his own problems right now and Maddie’s stories about God and angels and wars had all gotten a bit muddled. But Spike still stood at Maddie’s side, unsure if the hunter would pull something or not, though it seem more and more likely that she wasn’t planning anything. ”Oh, don’t leave on my account. I appreciate the sentiment, though,” Spike said to the hunter in response to her saying that she didn’t want to upset him. The snark still evident in his tone, but he really wasn’t looking to aggravate the hunter anymore. Instead, he turned to Maddie, who was asking him something. ”Well, you know. Crypts don’t get a lot of sunlight. Rent free. No noisy neighbors.” Spike listed off, replying to Maddie asking as to why he would want to live in a graveyard, ”It’s alright, Ginger. I’ll walk you home, but… you know. Buffy and the others might be waiting for me to check in at the new place. Thanks for the invite, though. I’ll visit you sometimes.”But as long as the hunter was still there—and she had just asked how Maddie knew Gabriel, so she probably wouldn’t be leaving as soon as she said—Spike was going to stay there. But he was pretty certain he was going to have the cemetery to himself again pretty soon. TAGS: Maddie, Alessandra WORD COUNT: 349 NOTES: ~

Madison Mackenzey Compassion Saxon was glad that the two had stopped fighting for a brief moment. Gave her time to clear her thread and think for a moment. Why would this hunter know Gabriel? The only reason that the prophet could think of was that he messed with her and played a nasty trick. This seemed like more though. Maddie looked at Spike when he turned to her.
Maddie listened to Spike and sort of gave a small laugh. “oh you don’t have to worry about noisy neighbors.” she smiled to him. “we’re the noisy neighbors.” she shrugged knowing that it was true. Her cousins were always yelling about something and when it wasn’t that, it was bound to be something else.
Spike then thanked her for the invite. He also said that he would visit her sometimes. She would like that. The only person she could really depend upon that wasn’t related to her seemed to be Spike. Gabriel wasn’t really all that dependable upon because he was always doing something unpredictable. She knew that he was doing it out of his kindness but sometimes it was just too much.
Maddie listened to the hunter talk. She said that she and Gabriel had saved each others asses a week ago. That means he isnt dead and the angels don’t know that he is alive. That made Maddie smile a bit. Now she wished that he would just come and find her. She then asked Maddie how she knew Gabriel. Did she dare to tell the hunter?
“Loki, Gabriel, is a close friend of mine. He’s saved my ass more times than I can count, and he sort of is my archangel I guess. Michael’s in hell, so he sort of took over that job.” Maddie said with a slight shrug. “he isnt very good at his job…” Maddie said shaking her head.

-------------------------- [/b] --------------------------[/b] At this point, Ale was once again ignoring the vampire, she didn't have any concerns for the boy anyways. As long as he didn't start chomping, she wouldn't start beheading. When Madison spoke about Gabriel being her Archangel, Ale seemed to tense up a good bit. She glanced off to the side and with a small nod the woman spoke up. "Once again, sorry for attacking you. Its been a long week."
And with that, the girl turned and started to walk off, whistling sharply as her companion came running to her Master's side. The two quickly got off the property and headed straight back toward the hotels, Ale pulling out a small book as she scratched down some notes for further examination. She knew how to find people, so she'd just have to watch out for anyone else who had an Archangel protecting them.
But something came to mind, weren't those who had archangels on their backs completely and totally protected? Maybe Gabriel knew Ale wouldn't fire without verification on who the person was or what they were. And with this thought, Ale gave a small smile. Gabriel actually trusted her, even if it was a little bit. Ale had actually gained the trust of an Archangel, some good amount of honor rose her in chest as she walked a bit more confidently.
"Thanks, Gabriel." Her words were soft spoken, but somehow..she kinda figured Gabriel heard her. Serenity glanced up to her Master, her tail wagging softly behind her as a gentle bark escaped her muzzle, Ale looked down to her companion and with another grin, disappeared from the scene. --------------------------[/b][/center] I'm out folks!
