Madison Mackenzey Compassion Saxon walked down the street. She was bored, tired and depressed. She folded her arms across her chest as she continued to walk. There was nothing else to do. Maddie walked down the street with a pair of black jeans on and a black and white striped shirt with a red collar. She also had on a black jacket and a blue pink and many other different colored stripped scarf. She wore a black knitted hat and a pair of black converse. She also wore her celtic jewellery and her angel wing earrings, the ones she always wore. Maddie had her coach purse and sketch book inside the purse.
Maddie didn’t really know what to do with herself. She had been a wreck since Gabriel joined Raphael, then once again, he died. She only learned that he died because of another angel. Maddie knew that he may have faked it, but she couldn’t be certain. He really did die when Lucifer killed him, she knew that his father, God had brought him back the first time. She wondered if he would be brought back again or if his father only does it once.
Maddie had wandered into the grave yard and she let out a sigh. Why the hell was she here? Maddie was about to turn and walk back but didn’t realize how far she went into the grave yard. She looked around, lost among the graves, lost among the markers that were around.
The ginger haired young woman looked around and she let out another sigh. She just hoped that this wasn’t going to be the last place she stood.

-------------------------- -------------------------- Alessandra wasn't the kind of girl to ask questions before firing her gun, in fact, she wasn't a very nice girl at all since her parent's gruesome death. She was a devoted Catholic, on pursuit to cleanse what little of the Earth she could, only hoping the rest of the Earth could get cleansed as well. She thought she was alone, at least..until she met Gabriel.
You could say the girl wasn't surprised, more likely relieved, she believed in angels of course but meeting an Archangel? Pure honor. The young woman held onto the leash as Serenity sniffed the ground, suddenly growling as she tugged at the leash, catching Alessandra's attention.
"Search." She ordered, releasing the leash as the dog bounded off toward the cemetery, Alessandra close behind. By the time the two made it to the cemetery, they were a little out of breath. Serenity slowed as she spotted Madison, growling lowly; Alessandra grabbed the leash and put an hand on the gun hidden under her shirt in her pants. She narrowed her eyes and held back a small growl herself, the girl looked normal, at least..she did for now. A Siren looked normal until they turned on you, beautiful creatures until you look into a mirror. A shudder came over her mentally at that thought, she'd never see love the same way again.
Serenity growled again, the wolf-like creature's hair standing on ends as her black fur stood on ends. Alessandra kept a tight grip on the leash, making sure Serenity wouldn't get herself hurt. "Down girl." Alessandra's voice was cold, Serenity relaxed only slightly. Alessandra pulling the gun out of the back of her pants and aimed it at Madison
"How many of you monsters are out there in this city?" She growled out quietly, asking more herself than Madison, she wouldn't be caught dead conversing with a monster, although she didn't know exactly who Madison was..at least not yet. --------------------------

Madison Mackenzey Compassion Saxon stood there, looking around. She had her blackberry phone with the batman case over it in the pocket of her black firetrap jacket and she felt like calling Gabriel, and realized he was dead. Sometimes she would just call his phone to hear the voice mail, as lame as that sounds. She would probably call Dean, or Spike since he kindly offered her his number. She meant to call him since its been a while but that would be a little awkward. She never really knew what to do in those situations. She liked him and thought he was an interesting person that she would like to get to know better.
Maddie stopped and she heard a person. She wasn’t expecting anyone else to be out here with her. Maddie turned towards the voice and saw that there was a gun pointed right at her. She took a step back but tripped over a small stone and fell backwards. Usually this would be about the time that Gabriel would pop in but he wouldn’t. she couldn’t hold her breath. Maddie just sat there and she looked up at the girl with the gun.
Maddie could feel her heart beating out of her chest. She wondered if she would end up dying in a grave yard. How cliché.
“what do you mean by that? I’m not a monster!” Maddie said to her, wondering if she would believe her. Probably not.
Maddie stood up and started backing away again. She wondered how far she could run before she gets shot. It wouldn’t matter anyway. She would probably die here anyway.

-------------------------- -------------------------- "My dog's nose doesn't lie."
She stated it so coldly, even she was surprised; Serenity had her eyes locked onto the girl, and as she backed away, took steps forward as more dark growls escaped her muzzle.
"What are you doing here? You got friends?" Alessa narrowed her eyes as the girl backed away, the gun now cocked as the safety was clicked off. "I suggest you just answer my questions, I'd hate to blow your brains out of your skull. But, this is business. Now, how many more of you are in this town?!" She wasn't playing around, and by the look in her eyes, she was tired and done with playing around.
Things would be so much easier if the angels would just stop fighting..but things weren't that simple. Angels were God's children and like God's children they were over-powered little brats with to much time of their hands. Alessa knew for sure that her child would never act like that in his/her's lifetime.
"Simple question, tick tock." Her voice was snappy, like she hadn't gotten a good night's rest in a few years..strange.
Well, it was actually true, Alessandra hadn't rest easy in a few good years, always on edge, pushing to make sure safety came first and always, always making sure she had some sort of weapon on her at all times. Currently, a knife happened to be tucked away in her boot, but then again she also had another hidden weapon tucked away where no one would really look.
But, she wouldn't reveal that anytime soon. --------------------------

Madison Mackenzey Compassion Saxon looked at the girl who said that her dog’s nose doesn’t lie. What did that mean. she watched the dog and she took more steps back. She really didn’t know what this girl thought she was but she believed that it was something that had to do with her father. Had other hunters caught on? Maddie knew that it was only matter of time before someone came after her but why now. Why did it have to be when Gabriel was dead?
Maddie looked back at the girl when she asked what she was doing here, if she had friends. Maddie shook her head. “I was just walking.” Maddie replied. She really didn’t know what she could say to the girl hunter that stood in front of her. She was then asked how many more of her were in this town. Maddie knew that she had to try to convince her that she wasn’t dangerous and that she was just a prophet.
“look I don’t know what or who you think I am but I am not a demon or anyone dangerous.” Maddie said to her.
Maddie’s paranoia kicked in and running seemed to be the only option, though she was just frozen in place. She defended herself against vampires and other demons and now she was against a gun. She knew that if she pulled out Gabriel’s sword, then she would get shot anyway. Maddie pushed her red hair off of her shoulder and she let it fall against her mid back. She stood there, with her hands down to her side.
Maddie looked at the dog again, the dog was very fixated on her, looking like the dog wanted to tear her apart. Maddie looked at the animal and she reached her hand into her pocket. She needed to call someone, Dean maybe. She highly doubted that he was in town though.
The young red haired prophet was all around screwed right now.

-------------------------- -------------------------- Alessandra saw her reach into her pocket, and got a little antsy, she glared as the dog growled. "Woah, woah, Princess, lemme see that." She walked over, gun still aimed and reached into her pocket, her icy blue eyes like daggers as she stepped back and looked over the phone.
"Serenity, guard."
The dog suddenly started circling Madison, she wouldn't let the girl get away anytime soon, at least not without a chunk taken out of her. Alessa putting the safety back on her gun as she started looking through the contacts of her phone. She stared at a number for a long time before groaning loudly. "You've got to be kidding me." Turning back around, the woman tossed the girl's phone back to her. "Damn it Serenity, what's wrong with you?" Alessa now looked up to Madison, "And how the hell do you know Loki?"
Alessa cocked her gun again, picking the bullet out of the air and pulling the case from the gun, reloading it without cocking it as she made sure the safety was on before setting it in her back pocket. "Serenity, heel." The dog seemed hesitate but backed away, going to her master's side and sitting there with another puppy dog look, which was strange coming from a dog that looked like a timber wolf.
She didn't say much after that, only staring at Madison expecting an answer, if she didn't and ran away, Alessa wouldn't be surprised. She just continued to stare at the girl with little to no empathy written across her face. --------------------------

Another night in the graveyard. After all of his deliberations, Spike had finally decided that this graveyard suited him better than the Mystic Falls one. Something about the architecture, he guessed. Eventually, he would probably have to find a crypt to settle into, and rig it up nicely with lights, a television and a microwave. All the essentials of his life, really. He supposed he could go in for an apartment somewhere, but that had the hassle of all the paperwork and rent and things Spike didn’t want to bother with. He was a rebel, a big bad. Vampires like him did not deal with signing leases. Spike was fiddling with the idea of whether he should light up one of his last cigarettes or not. Somehow, even though he had just bought them, he seemed to run out of them so quickly. Maybe he really did have a problem. Not that it mattered. He was already dead. Instead, he continued to wander across the grass of the cemetery, looking at the real estate and trying to figure which crypt would be closest to a power line. But then his ears pricked to voices in the distance. Curious, he started to go towards the voices. If they were newly sprung vampires, he’d take great pleasure in kicking their asses. If they were stupid humans, he’d probably scare them into going. Everyone and their mothers seemed to come to graveyards nowadays, not knowing that vampires that had no souls were around to snap them up for dinner. Unlike most of his kind, Spike did have a soul, which is probably why he felt a sting of alarm when he saw that ginger prophet girl he had met a few nights before at the cinema being held at gun point… and at wolf-point, it seemed. Well, he could hear the woman holding the gun call it a dog, but in any case, the gunwoman had trouble written all over her. Spike could remember that Maddie’s father wanted her dead or something like that, and even if this wasn’t an assassination attempt, it sure looked like one. The vampire carefully moved closer, weaving his way around tombs and making sure that wolf-dog thing had the least chance of smelling him. And then the hunter put the gun away. And she called off her dog too. Now that he had managed to get this close, trying hard to stay upwind and cover his scent so her dog would have a harder time tracking him, sticking to the shadows and behind headstones, the crazy lady seemed to have stopped her assault and was making conversation. Well, actually, demanding information, more like. But now Spike had a harder decision. Going in there would only aggravate the situation. But if he didn’t, there was a good possibility that the crazy woman would get her information and shoot Maddie afterwards. Well. This probably required a plan to make sure everything came out well in the end. But Spike didn’t really do plans either. So that’s probably why he was suddenly dashing forward, his fist raised, ready to backhand the hunter into unconsciousness. Or maybe it would just throw her off balance long enough for Maddie to run. Really, it was a bit unfair, considering that she was only human, but she did look trained, which would make things more interesting. In any case, this was the fight that Spike had been looking for. He was going have it, one way or another. +++ TAGS: Maddie, Alessandra WORD COUNT: 584 NOTES: And then Spike messed everything up. He’s such a boor. :3

-----------------------------------------------------------------
Well reaching into her pocket wasn’t a bright idea. The hunter in front of her had come over and taken her phone. Maybe running now would be a good idea, while she was distracted. The dog was guarding her, as the girl went through her phone. Maddie stood there, fists clenched as she stood there wondering if this is the end. If it was, then there was no other way to go out she guessed.
She watched the girl put the safety on her gun and she looked through the phone. Next thing Maddie knew was the phone was given back to her. Maddie put the phone back into her pocket and was asked the question about Loki.
Maddie never answered the question, it was almost as if the girl was taunting her with the gun. She tried to think of something, though she really didn’t know how to answer that. Loki was a demi god of mischief, and Gabriel took the name. Maddie seemed to call him that and put him as that in her phone and no one really asked questions.
"Loki? just a friend named Loki. Its his last name." Maddie responded, lying through her teeth. She wondered if this girl knew anything about the real Loki.
The Dog was by the girls side now and the gun was in her back pocket. She figured she had five seconds before the gun would go off if she chose to run. Maddie did just that though. She chose to run.
Maddie backed up slowly. In the end, after being tortured by Ruby and Raphael, nearly bleeding to death she would be killed by a fucking gun shot to the back of whatever. Fine. She could live with that. Maddie was about to turn when she saw a figure running towards them. She recognized the figure immediately after seeing the platinum blonde hair. It was the vampire Spike, whom Maddie had met a few days ago, which more of her personal life came out in a sentence to him than to anyone in their lifetime. It was sort of unexpected, him being here, but she didn’t complain about it. He was here to help her. Maybe the hunter would back off and leave, or if Maddie could figure out what she wanted she could help her, set her straight with the truth.

-------------------------- -------------------------- It didn't take long for either of the two companions to realize the vampire that came into the scene. Her gun was put away and she wasn't threatening so why the hell would he wish to smack her?
Stupid vampires.
Serenity jumped in front of Alessa to protect her master as she glared at the creature of a man. Giving him a quick look over, she then turned to Madison and gave a blank gaze. "Excuse me for my rudeness, you are a lucky one though, I usually shoot first and ask questions later. Serenity, heel." The dog still didn't back down, glaring at the man as if he were a good looking meal, With a sharp whistle, Serenity growled darkly and backed to her Master's side.
"Now that we have that out of the way, I'm sure you'd like to speak to your...friend now." She spat the word out like poison, giving another heavy glare toward the vampire. The only reason she hadn't shot at him yet is because..well, she had already scared the crap out of Madison and there was no point doing any more scaring.
Both her and the dog turned and walked away, at least a few good feet before stopping at a grave. The dog sniffed it before giving a snort, Alessa narrowed her eyes to read the engravement on the stone.
Kelly Nathan, 1990-2009, Friend, Daughter, She will be remembered forever.
Alessa continued to stare at the stone, as if deep in thought before a small snort escaped her lips. You're only remembered for the bad, aren't you Kelly? Her thoughts diverged as she looked up and around. Nothing else to really do... --------------------------

The vampire let out all of the momentum in his forward strike as that wolf-dog leapt in between him and the hunter. Spike twisted away at the last second, pulling his punch and instead settling into a fighting stance, unsure if the dog was going to rush him. He hadn’t had a dog after him since… World War Two? Did that government program that tried to capture him set dogs on him? Spike didn’t really recall, but the problem was how did one fight a dog? Spike wasn’t a great advocate of animals, but somehow he knew attacking this dog would make him feel guilty afterwards. Sometimes having a conscience sucked. But it seemed that the dog was called back and Spike let his stance relax. The hunter didn’t draw her gun either. Perhaps this was going to go Spike’s way for once. Except, of course, that it didn’t. The crazy woman barely paid attention to him, though her dog certainly was still all snarly. Instead, she talked to Maddie, telling her that she would normally shoot first, and giving her permission to speak to ‘her friend’. The hunter’s scathing glare was met with Spike raising an eyebrow and curling his lip slightly. Great, another black and white thinker. Spike supposed he should be happy she didn’t call him a thing. And then she walked away, but she didn’t really leave either. What the hell was up with this woman? Spike tried to hold back his frustration, but really, he had wanted that fight. Besides a fight that he had horribly lost because it was rigged against him, lately every time he had gotten a chance to take someone on it was ripped from his hands. He wanted that thrill, that reminder that he was… well, undead. On top of this, it just confused the hell out him that the hunter pulled a gun on a bystander and then left like nothing happened. No, this wasn’t over. If the hunter didn’t want to fight properly, fine, they wouldn’t. But he would still make sure he would get something out of this. Well, you know, besides making sure Maddie was okay. Thinking of that, he turned to the ginger prophet, his normally glib Cockney accent filled with exasperation, ”Why does every teenage girl in Richmond want to visit the bloody graveyard? Don't you have a club you could go to or something?” Despite her answer, Spike pointed at Maddie and added, ”This still counts as me saving you,” before returned his focus to the hunter, who seemed to be staring at a gravestone, for whatever reason. Or maybe for no reason at all. Nothing that this woman did made any sense to Spike. ”I’d say you’re a tad bit confused, pet,” The blonde vampire said as he approached the hunter, making sure he was still a few feet away as to not set of her wolf-thing, ”Y’see, you attacked the innocent girl and turned your back on the big bad vampire. Not too clever on either counts.””Now, I kinda figure, since you like waving around guns but aren’t really smart enough to know who to shoot, you should probably consider a career change,“ Spike sneered, putting his hands in his duster’s pockets and leaning against a headstone, He probably didn’t need to be this much of a dick, but he was irritated by the situation, and he had never been very good at controlling what he said. The vampire gave a small shrug and a cruel smirk crossed his face, ”Maybe customer service. You seem like a real people person.”+++ TAGS: Maddie, Alessandra WORD COUNT: 600 NOTES: ~

The hunter was now talking to Spike. Maddie looked at her again when she said that Maddie would like to talk to her friend now. Maddie watched her as she walked over to a grave stone, not really leaving. She wondered what she was thinking about. Maddie looked around and she all the sudden felt really depressed. Everything was just so depressing now.
“not a teenager.” Maddie rolled her eyes at Spike, not really in the mood for people to give her attitude. She ignored the last part of his statement about going to clubs. She wasn’t a fan. That was more of her older cousin’s scene and not hers.
Spike then pointed at her and said that this counts as him saving her. She simply nodded and gave a small shrug. “thank you, then.” she then looked at him with a small smile that was all she could really give him. “I guess I would be dead right about now wouldn’t I?” She asked him more as a rhetorical question than anything else. She knew that to be true too. She was very lucky that Spike was in the area because she knew that none of the angels would come to rescue her after what Gabriel did and the fact that he had died.
Spike went back over to talk to the hunter. He was still defending Maddie which she never really pictured anyone doing for her but people she knew well like Dean Winchester and Gabriel. She started getting oh crap running through her head as Spike went on and was an ass to her. Maddie would just have to stop it some how. She really didn’t want a fight to break out between the hunter and Spike.

-------------------------- -------------------------- The last thing that vampire wanted to do, was try and down talk her, she immediately pulled out her gun, turned the safety off and cocked it. Serenity stood on guard as Alessandra fired a few shots by the vampire's feet. "The only reason I didn't kill her is because I know her friend and he happens to be a good friend of mine. I don't know you, I don't care about you, I hate your kind. Now, unless you want that face of yours blown back into your skull I suggest you back the hell off."
The fire that just raged in her seemed unquenchable, she was purely angry at Spike now; "The only reason I'm firing at you and not killing you, is because I don't want to traumatize the girl anymore, and for which, madam, I am extremely sorry for attacking you without purpose. My dog has the ability of supernatural senses, like paranormal and such, she must of sensed this..friend of yours on you." Alessa now turned her attentions onto Spike.
"Anymore questions? I'd like to pay my respects to the dead..not the living dead."
She glared at Spike, fearlessly, the gun aimed right for his head. "And don't think I don't know how to kill your kind, boy, I hunt you for a living." --------------------------

Well, Spike had made the hunter angry, which was interesting, but it only gave him a moment of victory. Then a spread of bullets was shot at his feet, making him jump away a little further. He landed pretty lightly and his expression changed from annoyance to disappointment pretty quickly. Ugh, this wasn’t interesting at all. Where was the witty banter? The subtlety? All Spike could see was a green hunter who took herself and her skills way too seriously. As she continued to talk, Spike just tuned her out. He hadn’t asked for some bolloxy diatribe of hunter-rage. Well, maybe he should have expected such a reaction from his callous behavior, but it wasn’t the reaction that he had sought to get. He only wanted a nice spar, but it was obvious that this woman lived by her gun and her dog, which was efficient, but boring in Spike’s book. No fight for him. Again. He returned to the conversation just in time to hear the hunter explain how she hunted things. ”You mean, you just shoot at people ‘cause your dog tells you to?” Spike bit back a dozen things he wanted to say about that. Mostly all about her being crazy for thinking a dog had supernatural powers. But he went with the more important thing, ”Let’s think about this realistically, love. People end up in contact with demons and vamps by accident all the time. Considering Cujo’s track record and your itchy trigger finger, you’ve probably offed as many innocent humans as demon baddies.””’Sides. ‘The girl’ has been more traumatized than you could even imagine,” The vampire added with a sniff, remember the surprisingly intimate first encounter he had with the ginger girl he spoke of. The hunter said that she wanted to be left alone, so Spike shrugged and made to leave. He was planning to return to Maddie’s side when the hunter added her second little threat. It was funny that she called him a ‘boy’, considering he looked at least five years older than her and was actually six to eight times older than her. It was that which made Spike turn again to say one more thing, a grin painted across his face. ”Oh, I believe you, kitten.” Spike glibly replied about her knowing how to kill vampires, though he was keeping an eye on her the gun. The distance they were at, a headshot from a handgun wouldn’t be explosive enough to decapitate him, which was all a normal bullet could do to kill him. If she was firing wooden bullets, that would be a slightly different story. Frankly, any bullet was just going to hurt a lot, but he’d be able to get up from it, ”I’m just saying you’re not that good at it.”And with that he turned his back on the hunter, kind of expecting her to put a bullet through his head. Let her, if it made her feel better. He made his way back to Maddie before that though, with enough time to talk a bit, ”Why would anyone you know be friends with a psychopath? I mean, do you believe a word this barmy bird says?””I say we get, ‘less you think you need to ask her anything,” Spike lowered his voice to a whisper, “It’s a shame. I was hoping to set up a little flat here tonight.“+++ TAGS: Maddie, Alessandra WORD COUNT: 567 NOTES: Augh, Spike’s being such a jerk D: I’m sorry, Ale. That’s just how he is.

Madison Mackenzey Saxon looked at the two who were fighting and unexpectedly, there were shots fired, hitting the ground by Spike’s feet. She held her hands tight to her ears as she quickly turned. Spike seemed really pissed. She took her hands off her ears when she heard the hunter tlak about her friend. That was really weird. “how do you know him?” Maddie then shook her head. “no, doesn’t matter, he’s dead. The angels told me.” Maddie then finished as she was now catching herself to be more curious.
The hunter was talking to Spike more. She said that she didn’t want to traumatize Maddie any more than what she was. Yeah a little too late. She was terrified but now she was more curious. Spike continued to defend Maddie. She never really pictured him to be the type. She trusted him, which was probably not the best thing but he proved himself to be more than trustworthy.
Maddie listened to Spike argue with her more. He had then walked over to her and she looked at him when he started talking. She shrugged. She really didn’t know what to think about all of this. “the only person I could think of is Gabriel, he was always making friends with shady people.” Maddie said softly to him. “but the angels told me he was dead, as I said before.” Maddie restated quietly to him.
Maddie looked at him again from the hunter.
“do you know what happened to Gabriel?” she then asked the hunter curiously.
She then looked back at Spike when he said that he was hoping to set up a little flat here tonight. She tilted her head to the side a it and she wondered if he was staying here because he didn’t have a place to stay. “really? Why here?” she asked him raising an eye brow. “you can come stay at my house. I don’t know if anyone’s going to be home but no one would mind.” Maddie shrugged a little.

-------------------------- -------------------------- By this point, Alessa was ignoring the vampire completely, putting her gun away as Serenity just huffed. The dog went off to sniff out any other dangers, and as she did, Alessa turned to Madison while looking her over.
"We saved each others asses a week ago, I know him pretty well..at least for first time meetings."
That was all that needed to be said by the girl, she narrowed her eyes a little before a small grin came over her lips. "How exactly do you know him?" She was interested, she wanted to know how well Madison actually knew Loki..or well Gabriel. Gabby-boy, cute nickname, she'd have to try it on him next time.
With a soft snort at her own little joke, she turned back to the grave of Kelly before knealing down and pulling out a rose from her jacket, setting it on the grave, the girl stood back up before doing a prayer silently. Making the cross symbol across her forehead, abdomen, and shoulders, she placed her hand over her heart as she reopened her eyes.
There was no point mingling with a vampire in her book, they were only killers in her eyes, nothing more nor less.
"I'll be leaving soon, to get 'out of your hair'. Don't want to upset the blood sucker."
She looked around for her dog, her eyes narrowing a little before she spotted the black dot off on the other side of the cemetery. "..Damn mutt.."
[/blockquote] --------------------------
