---------------- [/b] ----------------[/b] Kennedy Marie Johnson stalked into the hotel room where she had been staying.
She glared at the four walls surrounding her. She knew that the motel she was staying at was too obvious of a place to put her plan in motion. She knew this would be the first place that they would look. She needed a place where she would be hidden…but it would be easily accessible to get in and out of that way she could move her plan if necessary. She knew of the perfect spot, and a sardonic grin flitter over her face as she thought of it.
Kennedy looked around, making a mental note of what she needed to bring with her. She grabbed her trunk, in it the supplies that she would need for her plan to be successful. She momentarily thought about leaving the hotel and bringing everything with her, but she shook her head of that thought. She wasn’t stupid. She knew that the slayer and her pals would eventually figure out who was behind it when they realized what had gone down. This would slow them down. This would be the first place they would look. It would cost them valuable time in order to allow her the most time to get what she wanted.
She grabbed her bag and her trunk and headed towards her car. It wasn’t the nicest car in the world, but it blended in with her surroundings and that’s all she cared about. It was dark, and not a lot of people were still on the beach. That was a definite good sign. She snuck up to the caves, her flashlight lit until she entered it. She had been up here once before, having made the necessary changes into the inner cave that she needed. She had originally thought of this place as a place for the final plan, but it would do for this step nicely. She turned the flashlight off, the light around her working just fine. She pulled out her sleeping bag from her trunk and waited until day light. She knew her plan was unfold perfectly….
It was time for the blonde slayer to understand what it meant to have true power.
And Dawn Summers was once again the key to unfolding what she had in store for the real slayer.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • The night was getting late and Dawn had been up doing anything and everything she could to help out. Whether it was research, training spell practicing, phone calling; Anything. It had been a relatively slow day so naturally Dawn was bored out of her mind. She was thankful that night had arrived and it was time for patrolling. Of course she didn't go this time because she had some other things to deal with. Plopping down on her bed with a sigh she turned on her ipod and jammed to some music trying to clear her mind. She needed a break. The house was hectic since Kennedy arrived. People were trying to figure out WHY she was here. Everyone knew it wasn't to just help out, Kenned and Buffy working together? Never a good combo, that is if you can even keep them in the same room for long without one of them trying to kill the other. Although Dawn wouldn't complain if Kennedy were to mysteriously disappear... Shaking her head she cleared all thoughts of that woman and just focused on the now!
With a light yawn Dawn sat up and pulled out some clean pajamas. She was ready for bed. With a smile she tossed her dirty clothes into her hamper and wiggled into her pajamas. They were just some little orange and white shorts and a white tank top with a panda bear on it. While getting dressed Dawn had the perfect idea of what to do tomorrow! Go to the BEACH! She grinned from ear to ear. It had been a while since she had been there and tomorrow was suppose to be really nice. It was a good plan, Dawn would wake up somewhat early and head to the beach for some time to herself. She crawled into bed and under her covers. She reached up and switched off her light, with one more yawn Dawn was off to sleep. It didn't take long at all.
The next morning she woke up, rubbing her eyes she sat up, swinging her legs off the bed she stood up and stretched a little. Today was the day she was going to go to the beach! With a smile she jumped to the bathroom turning on the shower. She stripped out of her pajamas as the water got hot. Today was going to be a good day. A nice day off with nothing but relaxing in the sun with her music. Not having to worry about anyone just for a while. It all sounded so nice and Dawn was more than ready for it. Stepping into the shower the hot water rushed over her body. She became relaxed, all her muscles becoming untense. Dawn couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. Washing up and rinsing off she stepped out and with a towel wrapped around her she headed back to her room to get dressed and pack up a small beach bag.
Dawn grabbed her bright orange bathing suit and slid it on tying the neck straps together. She loved orange, it was a very bright and happy color. It was nice on dreary days. Walking over to her closet Dawn pulled on a dress that wrapped around her body. It was a nice beach out fit and it also turned into a blanket type thing to lay on. Satisfied she sat took a seat on her bed and began to pack up some beach stuff such as a towel, sunscreen, her ipod with the panda headphones, and just a couple of other items she may need. With a smile on her face Dawn let her hair out and dried it off with her bath towel. She was going to go natural today, just let it kind of hang loose and become wavy like it normally did when she didn't decide to play with it. Dawn bit her lip a little as she looked around trying to decide if she forgot anything.
Thinking for a bit she decided she had everything and headed for the door, only to turn back around and grab her cross necklace. It was something she learned to wear no matter where she went just encase you needed. Now that she had her necklace Dawn was content and headed down the stairs. Getting to the door with her bag hanging from her shoulder she turned around looking for someone. With a shrug she called out "I am going to the beach. If anyone needs me I'll be there!" Dawn got a couple 'OK's' from people. With a nod of her head she turned back around and opened the door, heading to the car. Her excitement was over powering, she couldn't wait to feel the sun on her skin and the sand between her toes. It was a wonderful day and she was going to spend the day just relaxing!
Dawn unlocked her car. Getting in she set all her stuff on the passenger side that way it was in easy access encase she needed it. Looking around she backed out of the driveway and headed for the beach. Luckily it wasn't too long of a drive. Everything in this town seemed to be a short distance, although it made sense because it was a rather small town. Arriving at the beach she parked her car, grabbed her stuff and headed to the cool sand. Dawn made sure to lock the car, she really didn't need anyone stealing it from her because today was suppose to be a good day! At least Dawn hoped it would be. With a smile she found the perfect place in the sand not too far away from the water and some old caves. She slipped out of her dress and laid in the sand. Making herself comfortable she put on her bright orange sun glasses, pulled out her music and laid down soaking up the salty air and the sun's rays. she turned her music on and just got lost in scenery.

---------------- [/b] ----------------[/b] Kennedy Marie Johnson yawned as she woke up.
She was definitely not a morning person, and the fact that the sun was shining into the cave and directly in her line of vision was not making her morning any brighter…pardon the pun. She hated everything to do with mornings. She hated the way that the sun seemed always just a bit brighter. She hated the way that the birds sung merrily. She hated the way everything seemed louder in the mornings. She hated the coolness of the mornings. She hated it all, totally and completely hated. She wished the world could be forever dark and if it wasn’t always freezing she would have moved to Alaska many years ago.
She was not a happy person by nature, and never had been. She highly doubted this particular personality trait of hers would ever change so she simply went in it. She reveled in it. She had always been one of those girls who reveled in dark things. From her hair, to her clothing, to her music choices, to the color of her bedding and walls in her room. It had always been dark. It was just another reason that she hated mornings. It seemed almost impossible to be a dark person in the middle of a bright and sunny morning. She of course rebelled against the thoughts and always made sure to dress even darker when it was morning out, but it was still the thought.
Kennedy groaned as she sat up and stretched. Her muscles protesting against the fact that she had slept in a cave versus a normal bed. While she stood up and started collecting her bedding, to put it away so it wasn’t in her way, her mind wandered to her plans. She knew she would have to somehow get the main person involved in her plan out of her usual protective circle…the question was, how would she do it. She couldn’t call and set up a trap, as they rarely ever left her alone and they would know it was a trap.
She thought about simply grabbing her off the streets but that would be incredibly risky. Even she wasn’t that slick and she was confident enough in her abilities to admit that particular feat would be next to impossible for anyone, let alone her. She looked at her watch once she had finished putting her things to one side of the cave. It was much later than she had originally anticipated, but not late enough in her opinion. She changed out of her clothes into more ‘beach appropriate clothing’, though in reality all it was was a pair of dark shorts and a dark tshirt. She threw her hair up in a messy bun and walked out of the caves. She made sure to stick to the sides of the caves as she walked down the pathway, wanting no one to see her.
Kennedy smirked when she saw what was in front of her. The fates must like her today because there, not more than 50 feet away from her was Dawn Summers laying on a towel. There was no one else around, though she knew she’d have to cover the girl’s mouth since there were others on the beach, just simply not in sight of them at the moment. She could do this. She had to do this.
She crept closer to her, her knife coming out of her back pocket and into her hand on instinct. She was releaved that the girls eyes were closed. Once close enough she bent down, one hand covering the girls mouth and the other yanking her up by her hair. She held her steady in her arms, the knife going to her throat. “Make one sound and I’ll slice right across your neck Dawnie.” She stated menacingly. “Glory may have failed, but I won’t.” She stated before walking backwards, making sure that the girl couldn’t move any other way other than to move with her. “Now, you’re going to come with me like a good girl. You wouldn’t want anyone to get hurt would you?” She asked, but knew she had no choice.
Her plan was off to a brilliant start.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Dawn was in her own little world as she just laid there in the sun listening to her music not really worrying about her surroundings. Today was just a day to be a normal girl for once, not a slayers sister, or someone in the gang just a normal person who could think about boys (Chase) and other girl things. Not fighting, vampires, monsters or demons. She sighed it was a nice feeling, it was almost like being free. Dawn couldn't help but smile, her whole body just letting loose. Every muscle in her body relaxing and enjoying the motionless time on the warm sand. The sun was warm on her skin she was sure to tan a little while she was here. That or burn which wouldn't be very pleasant but it's something that came with laying in the sun in a bikini.
In a bit she would probably go get in the water. It was a nice thought till someones hand went over her mouth and she was quickly yanked up by her hair squinting at the slight, almost nonexistent pain. With her mouth still being covered a sharp knife came to her throat and a woman began to speak. Dawn recognized the voice, it was none other than Kennedy. Shocked she inhaled deeply through her nose shaking her head softly so the blade wouldn't cute her. What was she doing? Why? Than it hit her. Glory once tried to use Dawn's blood to open a portal, was Kennedy going to try the same thing? Or was there a bigger plan involved. Maybe it wasn't all just about Dawn maybe it had to do with Buffy since everyone knew how much Kennedy hated Buffy. Kennedy started to drag Dawn away from the beach, all her stuff that laid nicely on the ground was messed up as Dawn struggled. She kicked her feet and moved her body. Dawn wasn't going down with out a fight. Kennedy couldn't kill her right than and there could she?
Dawn wasn't sure but she was still going to fight it. She opened her mouth as wide as it would go and went to bite Kennedy's hand as hard as she could in hopes it would release her if Dawn could get to her bag she might be able to find something to help her out even if it was her phone Buffy was on speed dial. Yes Dawn had grown stronger over the past years but Kennedy was like Buffy in many ways and there was no way Kennedy would be able to defeat her. She could try and probably get in a few lucky shots but not enough to help her out in the situation. It would most likely just piss her off even more. What ever happens though Dawn would do her best to stay strong for her sisters sake. Dawn did hold a lot of information and if it got into the wrong hands, well the gang would be screwed. Buffy would come for her, she would know something was wrong. It was the slayers instinct. Dawn just needed to prolong it all for Buffy to find her. Dawn was going to have to do everything in her power to fight off Kennedy.

---------------- [/b] ----------------[/b] Kennedy Marie Johnson glared as she felt the bite.
She could feel the little bitch bite her hand and she bit her lip to keep the yelp from escaping her mouth. Oh this little girl wanted to play this game? She’d play ball. She would teach the little mystical energy turned human that you didn’t play with the big girls unless you had the necessary equipment and knowledge to make sure that you didn’t lose. She would make this girl got a lesson in playing with the big girls (and the big boys since any ‘big girl’ should in all retrospect be able to tango with the big boys.
She smirked down at the little girl. “You want to play Dawnie?” She said with a sneer. She smirked again before leaning back and punching her square in the face, effectively knocking her out. She grinned and dragged the unconscious brunette girl into the cave. She reminded herself once more to pick up her belongings once she had the girl secured as to not alert anyone to where she was. She didn’t want the slayer and her ridiculous band of followers finding her before she was ready.
Hopefully they wouldn’t find her until the brunette was dead and bloody…that would teach the blonde bitch to think she was mightier than her. Buffy the vampire layer had no idea who she was messing with. Kennedy had big backers on her side, simply waiting until she was ready before bestowing the amount of power she was capable of handling onto her.
Kennedy continued to drag the girl until she was where she wanted her. She dropped her unconscious body, noting with a smirk that her head banged against the concrete floor of the cave. She pulled the chains to where she needed them and made sure they were secure enough. Kennedy knew they would never hold her strength, but they would be fine for a simple human. She looked around, attempting to figure out how to chain her up without her cooperation. She mentally wished for a brief moment that she had a partner in crime as this would go a lot smoother and a hell of a lot quicker if she did, but she banished the thought almost instantly.
She didn’t want anyone else getting the glory for all that she had accomplished in the short amount of time she had been a resident of the hick town of Mystic Falls Virginia.
She set up the chains, checking them once more before dragging the young girl over to them, securing her in them and letting her hang by her arms. She then stood in front of her and waited for her to awake.
Kennedy hoped she didn’t have to wait long. There was fun to be had and games to be played.
As well as information that she was desperate to get and would stop at nothing until she knew everything that she wanted to know…as well as everything her master wanted to know.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Dawn struggled with all her might but it was no use, Kennedy was much stronger than she was. Dawn was smarter in different ways that most were not but she was no match for slayers. Slayers had a superhuman strength that was no match for regular humans... Or odd mystical energies that happened to become human. Sure Dawn was special but not in any way were she gained super anything. All she could do was create a portal that in all end could destroy the world if used correctly. Hopefully that is not what Kennedy had in mind because she really didn't want to have to go through all that again... No one needed another Glory in the world.
Dawn looked Kennedy straight in the face with a glare. If only looks could kill... "Buffy will find me..." She didn't get a chance to finish her sentence before Kennedy punched her square in her face knocking her out as well as busting her lip open. A little bit of blood trickled down her chin as she was dragged away in the sand. It did leave a trail but it would soon be covered up by the wind, sand was so easy to move around. Why did she come to the beach today of all days... All because she wanted a simple day off where she didn't have to worry about anything, well that was a mistake. Dawn had just put not only her life in danger but Buffy and all her friends as well. Kennedy was planning something big and Dawn Knew it was going to hurt people, people she cared about deeply.
Kennedy had dragged her into some caves far off from where people normally walked, letting her drop to the hard cold stone floor. Her head making contact first, there was going to be a bruise forming now. Dawn began to mumble a little, she was coming back. Unfortunately it was not enough for her to actually move or talk although she could feel the cold steel wrap around her wrists. It didn't take long for Dawn to be tied up and suspended up off the ground her toes barely touching the ground. Opening her eyes there was a blurry figure standing before her. Blinking a little everything started to come into focus, Kennedy was standing before looking as she always did.
Dawn took a deep breath licking her bottom lip a little, smearing the blood. "Let me go Kennedy!" Dawn sounded a little groggy but she was still very stern about what she wanted. Dawn wiggled a little trying to slip out of the chains. Deep in Dawns gut she knew that this day was going to be the longest day of her life and it wasn't going to be very pleasant. If she knew anything it was that Kennedy was the type of person to stop at nothing till she got her way, and Dawn... Well she was just the first little stepping stone to get her way. She needed to keep her focus and stay strong. Dawn needed to last till Buffy found her. She may have been weak physically but mentally she was strong.

---------------- [/b] ----------------[/b] Kennedy Marie Johnson smirked as the blood formed.
Blood was an unusual thing though so powerful. It was crimson red, her favorite color since she had been a child. She used to wear red everything. Red skirts, red dresses, red jeans, red pants, red shirts, red ribbons, everything was red. Hell her favorite teddy bear had been red. She only ate red foods, drank red drinks, the works. It had driven her parents crazy trying to appease her when she was a child. They had tried everything, even going as far as to taking her to a shrink when she had beat up a kid for taking her red popsicle and giving her his blue one.
So her fascination with blood with nothing that was shocking to her in the least. The red crimson that she watched drip down Dawn’s face made her grin, almost made her want to taste it if it weren’t for the obvious ick factor involved in it she probably would have . Blood was life…it was life’s essence. You couldn’t survive without blood. You had a lot blood in you…and it took a long time to drain out of you.
She wanted to know exactly how long. She would find out. Dawn was her guinea pig. She wanted to see if it was like in the movies where you stabbed a person and ten seconds later there was a pool of blood underneath them and they were dead. She hoped that weren’t the case. She wanted to watch this girl bleed out…her life flashing before her eyes…the light slowly leaving her until she drew her last breath.
And she would make sure she got what she wanted. She had always been a spoiled child.
That’s because she knew how to get what she wanted.
Kennedy picked walked over to the table next to where Dawn was hung up and took off the sheet that was covering it. On the table sat several utensils that she would be using. Little knives, Butcher Knives, Bolt Cutters, A rusty saw. She picked up one of the little knives and showed it to Dawn, enjoying the fear that was emanating around her. “Ready to get started Dawnie? Big sister won’t be able to find you nearly soon enough. Get ready little girl…we’re gonna have some fun.” She stated before taking the knife and running one long scratch against her arm, watching the blood pool around her.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • As Dawn hung there from the cave wall she couldn't help but let her mind run rapid, there were so many things going on. Things that could happen she was scared silly. All Dawn wanted was a nice day off and look where that got her... Chained up in a cave with a deranged woman who well scared Dawn. There was something wrong with this girl. She needed a brain scan or something! Taking a deep breath she closed her eyes and focused, Dawn needed to stay calm and strong. She needed to leave her mind open and empty. Right now all she really needed to do was to forget. Forget everything, just bury it deep inside her mind where no one could get to it. Her secrets needed to stay just that; Secrets!
As Kennedy spoke she kept talking about playing and Dawn frowned "Were you not liked by other children? Is that why you want to play? You need to force someone to play with you?" Dawn of course knew she was not talking about toys or silly little kid games. She was talking much more than that. Dawn knew what was going to happen to her although she was no where near prepared for what was REALLY in store for this young girl. However if Buffy did not find her soon Dawn would be as good as dead and the way things were gonna go there was no bringing her back this time. "Oh God Buffy, please find me!" Dawn was silent she was just thinking to herself now. She pulled her hands down trying to slip free of the cuffs. There was no luck they were on tight unless she wanted to either rip off or break her hands which all in all would be no use because than she would have no way to fight or try to defend herself.
With a deep sigh she looked at Kennedy and watched as she uncovered various tools that were used for torture. Her eyes widened a little. She was terrified but she needed to be strong it was important that she did. She needed to last till her sister found her, hopefully she came in time. "Your sick you know that? There is something really wrong with you." Dawn nodded and wiggled a little, trying to find a screw up so she could get out of this hell hole. Her heat was racing and she thought it might pop out of her chest. Heck if she wasn't careful who knows Kennedy might find pleasure in cutting out her heart and watching the last couple beats fade away just as her life was going to if her sister or SOMEONE didn't find them.
"Your wrong my sister will find me, and she will kill you. You are no match for her! You think your powerful but you have no idea what Buffy is capable of! Your weak, your nothing compared to her!" Dawn spit on Kennedy and scoffed at her. No matter what Kennedy was not getting what she wanted. Dawn wont give her that pleasure. At least she would try. She for sure wouldn't get anything out of her, she would have to kill her which was a likely thing at the moment. Dawn bit her lip a little, looking around there had to be some way to get out, there just had to be!

---------------- [/b] ----------------[/b] Kennedy Marie Johnson watched as the blood dripped down.
She wasn’t sure why she was so fascinated with blood, but she was. It was something she had always liked, though as her father had told her many years ago it wasn’t that good little girls liked so she never acted as if she loved it as much as she did. Even when she had gotten to see other girls beat up and killed while battling the first she had really wanted to go examine the blood, feel it on her fingers, it was odd, but it was something she loved.
Dawn’s blood was even more interesting than others because she had heard the stories of it from Willow. She knew that Dawn hadn’t always been human and yet she bled like a normal human would. She had heard the stories of the monks creating her, molding flesh around the powerful key that the god Glory needed to get back to her world. She heard how the monks had created new memories about her and that everyone remembered her even if she really didn’t exist. She briefly wondered if they had ever wondered what memories they didn’t have because of Dawn being put into them but she decided to reflect on that a different day.
Willow had told her all about the sacrifice that was Dawn’s blood that opened up the portal in order for Glory the hell god to get back to her dimension. She briefly wondered if by draining Dawn’s blood dry if she would open that portal here but then remembered after a moment that it had to be in a certain time and place and she believed that was why Buffy had died the second time…was closing the portal as someone had been able to get it open.
She never had heard the story of how Glory had been killed since she believed that Buffy had walked away. She didn’t know if Glory technically had been killed, and she smirked to herself when she thought about that…they would make a good pair. Kennedy put down the knife she had and picked up a pair of scissors. “So Dawnie…I was just thinking. You remember Glory right?” She said with a smirk, snipping the scissors close to her ear but never actually touching her with them. This was more power play than anything else. She wanted all her limbs to be there so she wouldn’t cut anything off…she needed to make sure she was distinguishable after all so when Buffy and co found her mangled body it would still be enough to identify her.
“I was just thinking, I don’t believe that I know how she died. Last I checked Willow told me that Buffy left Ben alive who shared a body with Glory and never actually killed her. Think I should try and get in touch with her? That would be fun huh? Maybe keep you around a bit longer so that way Glory can come and play with you too? That would be fun wouldn’t it?” She asked with an evil grin before snipping the scissors against her stomach, again, never cutting her with them, just enough to where she could feel the blades of them against her.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Dawn kept her game face on, she didn't look scared but her heart was racing. To her the pounding was so loud it was giving her a head ache. She thought that if she wasn't careful it would either explode or pop right out of her chest, which Kennedy might like. The thought of that disgusted her, she didn't know how one could be so sick... So cruel. Dawn needed to hit her weak spot, emotionally or mentally. Something, but she needed to be careful. Dawn was sure either way the out come of today was not going to be pretty, hopefully she would make it out a live! Swallowing hard she looked at Kennedy and just watched her as she ran her fingers over her little tools trying to decide which one she wanted to start with... "Stay strong Dawn... Don't give her the satisfaction, or the secrets. Don't give her anything!" Dawn was trying to tell herself she needed to be strong, that she could get through this, everything was going to be ok. She just needed to keep hope that her sister or someone would find her.
Kennedy than brought up Glory, shock hit her face. Why would anyone want to bring that monster back? Pulling herself back together "Go a head Kennedy, bring her back. I won't be the only one who gets their life ended by her." She was talking about Kennedy herself. Glory did things her way and didn't care for others so to kill Kennedy and Dawn would be pleasure for Glory even if Kennedy brought her back. "I don't even think you could do it. Not to mention Buffy will find me way before you could even get started!" In all reality she wasn't even sure Buffy would find her but she wasn't going to think that way. Dawn needed to stay positive or she wouldn't make it threw the day, or even an hour with Kennedy.
Dawn sucked in her stomach real quick as the blades of scissors touched her bare skin. "Here we go..." Dawn took in a deep breath trying to prepare for what torture may come her way. She didn't close her eyes, or look up she just watched Kennedy with eyes that showed nothing behind them. Dawn was hiding her fear. She refused to give in to Kennedy. "So how does it make you feel that Willow hates you? That she feels she wasted her time on you. Your nothing to her you know that? You could NEVER match up to Tara, you never will. To Willow all you'll be is nothing. She made a mistake getting to know you!" Dawn was gonna try hard to hit a soft spot, make her cry, break her down. Something and the best thing she could think of was Willow. Now she didn't know if any of that was true, well except about Tara. Tara was always and will always be Willows number one, dead or alive no one could match her. Saying what Dawn did was worth a shot, it probably wasn't the smartest thing but Dawn needed to try something! Anything!

---------------- [/b] ----------------[/b] Kennedy Marie Johnson smirked.
She could smell the fear rolling off of the original slayer’s younger sister. It was exhilarating to see how much fear a few small cuts could cause in this young girl. In all actuality the brunette in front of her wasn’t really any younger than she was, but for some reason she felt years younger. Maybe it was because she herself was a slayer…a higher being so to speak, and she knew things that others didn’t. She knew that most people didn’t see themselves as such a higher being, but she did. She was special, she was chosen, and she was strong.
Kennedy had always been a bright child, but had always had morbid fascinations. So when Willow had told her about the hell god named Glory, she had been fascinated. It hadn’t shocked her that there were other dimensions ruled by hell gods…it had shocked her that this hell god had been after something as simple as the slayer’s fake little sister. She had questioned Willow relentlessly on why Buffy hadn’t just sacrificed her sister for the greater good of the world…and Willow hadn’t been very pleasant in explaining the situation for the way that it was.
Their conversation had been brief…but powerful. She had explained that Buffy had already sacrificed Angel to save the world (who Angel was she still didn’t know other than he was a vampire who Buffy dated…the details she hadn’t ever gotten) and she had refused to do it again. It was something that Kennedy once again didn’t understand. She’d sacrifice anyone and anything in order to uphold her destiny and to protect herself. It was who she was and that was what she would do. So hearing that Buffy was willing for the world to go to hell to save someone who wasn’t even real was something she couldn’t understand.
Kennedy’s thoughts snapped back to the present when she heard Dawn’s whimper and her false bravado about how Buffy would find her. She tsked her before laughing. “Dawnie, we are protected by powerful magic…she won’t find us until your cut up into about 50 pieces and all that’s left is your blood. So buckle up baby, it’s going to be a wild ride.” She stated before slashing another cut on her arm.

Blood began to trickle out from her body, slowly dripping to the cave floor making a small crimson pool. Dawns heart began to race once again. It was now time to in the words of Kennedy, 'play.' It was going to be ok though Dawn would make it through because Buffy would find her... Someone would find her... They just HAD TO! Kennedy spoke of strong magic protecting her from Willow or anyone else magic. That was never a good sign, it made her worry about Willow a little. If it was too powerful it could really hurt her which would just add the mess Dawn was in now. Oh what a mess Dawn was in now...
Sucking it up she began to wiggle a little more, if she could just get a little more swing than she would be able possibly hit Kennedy. But it would take a lot of effort. "You won't get that far darlin. You'll never succeed in what ever it is your trying to do!" Dawn wasn't really sure what Kennedy's plan was. with Glory it was obvious, she wanted Dawn's blood to open the dimensions and destroy everything. What else. But with Kennedy it was different she could care less for Dawn's blood at least it seemed that way. So what did she really want with her. As much as Dawn wanted to know she wasn't really sure she REALLY wanted to know. She needed to keep her mind free of everything and if she knew well that probably wouldn't help any at all.
Dawn got a fairly good swing by pushing off the wall behind her. She put a foot out in a kick, aiming for Kennedy's head. It was worth a shot. Right about now Dawn would try anything to get free, or at least by some time for her sister to work her slayer senses or something. Anything helped really. Taking in some deep breaths as her swing came to an end. It was rather difficult to move when chained up by the arms, with a head wound and an arm wound. She was bleeding out and didn't have very much room to move... Things were not looking up for poor Dawn.

---------------- [/b] ----------------[/b] Kennedy Marie Johnson smirked.
Her eyes, usually a deep brown, were black with a fire that she hadn’t known existed in her. She had always known that she was different than others her age. Not only for the slayer thing, but before that. She had enjoyed things that no one else had. She had liked to play with the boys more than the girls. She had enjoyed watching people get hurt, she had laughed when people fell and skinned up their knees, and then asked to look at their scratches to see how much blood there was.
She had always realized this, but it had never really sunk in until she had found out that she was a potential slayer. Once she had gotten the word that she was a potential chosen one, she had figured out that she was really different. It wasn’t just a personality difference, it was a clinical, physical, tangible difference from others her age. It was odd, but she found that she enjoyed it. However, after meeting some of the other girls, she realized that she was even different than the other potential slayers…and the polar opposite of the slayer who was in charge.
When Kennedy met Faith she had thought that she had finally found someone who she could connect with. That was one of the reasons she had rallied so hard for Faith to be in charge versus Buffy. Buffy didn’t seem to care about the outcome of the individual girl, no, she just seemed to care about the outcome of the battle as a whole. Of course, Kennedy herself didn’t really care about the lives of any of the others either as long as her and Willow made it out alive…but that wasn’t the point. She had thought that Faith would be a better leader because she herself was a leader.
Unfortunately it hadn’t worked out. Faith in her mind was a Buffy lover just as everyone else was. Faith had wanted Buffy’s backup more times than she could count. She was weak, just like everyone else in the blonde slayer’s circle of friends. It was pathetic how much the real slayer needed help…when a slayer was supposed to be alone in her duty. The bitch hadn’t ever been alone! It was frustrating to her that this girl got all the glory and all she got was a little corner of the world to mark as her own.
She noticed that Dawn’s mind was working fast and that she was actually attempting to knock her out somehow. She smirked and moved over towards her, gripping her hair and pulling it tight. “I don’t think so little girl.” She stated with a sneer. “Behave or else I’ll make your death even slower.” She stated before taking the knife and digging it into her stomach, drawing a line of blood as she went. It wasn’t a deep cut, but it did reopen one of the wounds that Glory’s minions had cut long ago. She knew from experience that when a scar was opened up, it was even more painful than a new wound because of the scar tissue.
“Come on Dawnie, you don’t really think that I don’t have a plan for big sister. But wait, she really isn’t your big sister is she? You’re not real. You’ve never been real. Your mommy died thinking that she was your mommy, what would she think if she knew the truth? She’d be disgusted at what an evil thing you are. How you are a ball of energy wrapped in human skin. Do you even know how the monks did it? What if your skin is another person’s skin? What if the body you’re wearing is actually a vessel of some sort…what if the body you are wearing once belonged to someone else and the monks killed that girl, ripping out her soul, in order to put you in it. Wow, your even bigger of an evil than I am…and that’s saying a lot.” She stated before reopening the other scar on the other side of her stomach, watching as the blood trailed down the young girl’s legs.
This was going to be fun.

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Dawn shook her head she didn't want to listen to anything that Kennedy was telling her. Some say the truth hurts but Dawn never knew how much it could really hurt you until now. Kennedy wasn't only torturing her body but she was hitting her where it hurt the most. Dawn knew deep down that she wasn't REALLY 'real' but it was something she denied to herself and to everyone. She was given a chance just like every other person on the planet, she had her purpose and all though it wasn't a good purpose it was still HERS! Every word that Kennedy spit out at her cut her deeper and deeper. Dawn's heart filled with sorrow knowing that most of it was all true. She couldn't help but to think about her deceased mother. Would she really hate her for what she was? For being tricked into it all? That pained Dawn more than anything else. Her mother was everything to her just as he sister is now.
Dawn swallowed hard trying to keep the tears at bay. Kennedy wasn't going to break her down, they were just words it wasn't true. No it wasn't true. Dawn looked away from the brunette in disgust and in sadness. It was taking everything out of Dawn not to break down and just cry. No matter how much she wanted to she wasn't going to let herself do it. With another hard swallow she spoke up once more "At least I am loved, even if I may not be real. It's more than what you have. I would think it would suck getting out liked by someone who isn't even real. But than again you were always a loner, was it your choice or did no one ever like sharing their toys with you?" Dawn's voice was weaker but her words were still fierce. She would throw back anything and everything at Kennedy it may not phase her but it would at least stick with her where ever she went. If she got far that is.
Kennedy than took the blade to her stomach and sliced her open, it wasn't deep but it hurt worse. She had run the blade over her scar that she received from Glory. Dawn let out a small yell of pain and tears finally began to slid down her cheeks. Her breath was shallow as she hung there from the cave walls. Her wrists were getting bruises and the more she wiggled and moved the more the cuffs dug into her skin causing her skin to rip a little. There wasn't a big enough cut on her wrists for blood to trickle down but it was getting close. After a while her own body began to feel like a million and half pounds all weighing down on her arms. Everything was getting sore now. Dawn tried everything to just ignore what she told her. Even when she was trying to make it seem like Dawn was really the Evil one not Kennedy. Although Dawn did feel like she was the worst 'person' alive. Maybe Kennedy was doing everyone a favor. Dawn shook her head, everything she was saying was getting to and Dawn needed to try harder to keep all of it at bay.

---------------- [/b] ----------------[/b] Kennedy Marie Johnson chuckled.
This chick really knew nothing about her at all…and it was something that made the brunette laugh hysterically on the inside. She had a feeling that Dawn or the key as she was really known as, thought that she had started out evil. While that may be true on the surface, it could have been avoided if the slay-bitch and her friends would have realized her true potential and given her more recognition than they did. She had turned to evil simply because she knew that it would give her more praise than good did.
Evil was much more fun in Kennedy’s perspective. There were not many rules to follow other than don’t get caught which was a standard one. There weren’t so many people to try and run things through…you could pretty much do what you wanted as long as it benefited the head person which her torturing little miss slay runt definitely fit in to her boss’ plans. She needed to weaken the blonde bitch slayer and torturing and eventually killing her baby sister would definitely fit in nicely with what her boss had in mind. It also helped that she was thoroughly enjoying herself so that made it all the better in her mind.
What could she say, some would call her crazy, but she was alright with that. She was having fun watching the blood, the life, and the energy drip from this little chick and she would continue to do so until she died, or until someone stopped her, which she had a feeling that it would be the former that happened first as no one would know where she was…but that was the beauty of it all…they were all alone and that was exactly the way she liked it.
Kennedy snorted at the young girl who was desperately trying to piss her off but it wasn’t really working out all to well. “They love you!? Really? Because you’ve been here for almost 24 hours and they’ve not come in and saved the day yet. I mean come on Dawnie, do you think that Willow didn’t tell me all that was said when you were kidnapped the first time by Glory? Buffy was waiting for you to die…she wanted it…it would be offer and a relief not to have to take care of your whiny ass all the time. She told Willow that, who in turn told me. So don’t think she’s going to run in here to save you little girl, because she’s not.” She told her before knocking her head against the wall, knocking her out.
She needed some peace and quiet…which was exactly what she was going to get until the bitch woke up. Then the fun would start all over again.
